Haki barely even listened to what she had to say. He sat rigid and upright looking straight ahead. He could see the lights of the village fires growing larger into vision and for a moment contemplated landing within the village to drop her off, feeling uncertain as to whether she would be capable of making it to the village after being delerious for as long as she was. But that would only cause a fuss and no doubt those stupid villagers would chase him and Svadilfari across the skies like criminals if he thought for even a moment about actually entering their village, besides which she had Nayrol to help her get to the village after he had left her.
He didn't look at her, but he spared a regular glance towards Nayrol, he had seen very few people who rode a Monstrous Nightmare, but then again there were even fewer who rode Night Furys and he had seen no other. He pretended not to hear what she had to say, for he too wished never to meet the female in battle, for it would only make him regret saving her, and he wasn't about to kill her. Svadilfari's course changed a little, he tilted one wing up and flew at Nai with quick speed, slowing suddenly to glide alongside Wolf's dragon and reaching over with his jaw to take the fish that had been offered to him, swallowing it whole and letting his tongue slide around his teeth with delight at the taste of fresh fish blood that had clung there.
Haki smirked a little at the pair of dragons and there strange interacations, he felt for a moment almost as though Nayrol felt he needed to exchange something for the life of Wolf. Haki would have given it away without any hassle, but Fari was not complaining about the thanks he had recieved and Haki patted the broad, scaled neck and murred a soft string of words to the dragon. "Come on Fari, get down there. I want to get home soon you know," he laughed softly and the dragon made an almost purr like sound.
Almost through instinct Haki leaned forward over Wolf and held her a little tighter "hang on," he muttered as Svadilfari's wings tucked in close to his body and the great black beast picked up speed like an arrow being shot down at the village from hundred of miles above. Haki's eyes remained open but streamed water as the wind whipped at them fiercely, for an instant it seemed they would collide with the earth, then suddenly Fari's wing shot open to their full span and tilted forward a little; they slowed quickly and leveled out, then his wings tucked inward a little; they came to a stop, gliding easily to the ground. A soft thud sounded when the dragon's feet hit the earth once more and his wings coiled in completely.
Haki dismounted, holding Wolf in his arms as he did so, and stepped a few paces from Svadilfari before setting her down. They were as close to the village as he dared to get without being seen and he was of course thankful that Svadilfari knew when to be quiet. "You should go," he muttered to Wolf in almost a whisper, glancing warily towards the village as though expecting warriors to run from the houses any moment to attack him.
