Drakoh could feel a soothing coolness as Frostfire spread the paste over his wound. When she was finished, Drakoh slowly opened his eyes and sat up. He nodded to Frostfire. "Thanks... Frostfire... I feel better now. Do... do you know where you are going to live?" he asked slowly.

Frostfire had been so preoccupied by the prior events that she had forgotten about Sunset. Looking away from Drakoh, the Night Fury could feel her eyes cloud. "I-.." Her voice broke. "I don't know.." Then, a thought popped into her head. "Why are you so frightened of fire, Drakoh?" This thought confused her, as every Night Fury she knew of always, always used fire without hesitation.

Drakoh's eyes clouded over as he remembered what had happened so long ago. "Humans attacked my home. They... they set fire to my old cave and killed my parents." his voice shook as he let it all out. It was the first time he ever had, and it felt... good, as if he was extracting poison.
"I'm really sorry about Sunset. About homes... would you... would you like to live in my home?" he asked. It would be nice to have someone to live with, to keep him company in the winter. He suddenly couched and, his throat wriggling, brought up two fish he had caught fishing. He slid one over to Frostfire and began to eat.

As Frostfire ate the silver fish, she looked up and said quietly, "The humans killed my parents too." Her voice was nearly a whisper. Then, her heart lifting, the Night Fury said, "I would love to go with you, Drakoh." Sunset watched as the two dragons spoke. Though their voices were hushed, He could still make out what they were saying. There was a new feeling in his heart... Hatred. Hatred of Drakoh for taking his sister away from him. Hatred of Frostfire for leaving him, her own brother! This disgusted him even more. She had promised to stay with him forever, no matter what happened! Angrily, he lashed his tail against the side of the cave and let out a terrible roar. Frostfire was no sister of his. ((I acctualy enjoyed playing Sunset when he's angry! ))

Drakoh jumped as he heard Sunset's roar. He stared up at him. He was beig so stupid. He loudly said, so Sunset could hear, "I... I love you, Frostfire."
He licked Frostfire's nose. He felt odd. As if his black heart was breaking into something warmer. Why did he feel like this?

"Dusty, come on, no. I am not going in there!" The boy planted his feet in the ground as his Brown dragged him forward. Go into a place where he had just heard lots of roars? No thanks! That last one had almost shook the mountain up, or at least, that was what it felt like to him. Dusty had taken to sniffing the air then pulling Ryan to his feet and half dragging him to the source of the noise. The Brown looked almost excited, but nervous as well. That didn't play to well with his human. While Dusty had had his nose up in the air sniffing for the source and listening for more, Ryan had been crouched in a fetal position with his hands over his ears.
Ryan was finally tugged through the last bit of stretch. First, he saw a cave, then he saw two big black dragons. One with Sapphire markings. Ryan's mind didn't have time to register the sapphire markings and automatically went to back off. A larger dragon with a strangely familiar leg was touching noses with the sapphire streaked one; Ryan was sure that they wouldn't appreciate company. The thirteen year old didn't have any time to register what he was seeing, two familiar dragons; his mind was going around in a panic. Before the human could back up fully and pelt straight down the mountain, Dusty's tail swept under his legs and the boy thudded to the ground.
Ryan tensed up, sure that both of the larger dragons had heard that. The brown grabbed Ryan's sleeve and sat, as if trying to anchor him to the ground. "Dusty!" Ryan hissed. "Are you crazy?!" he gulped, staring up at the two large dragons, his blood and mind racing. "We thought we heard you guys," Dusty purred. "Or I did anyway."OOC: ^^ Hope this is okay Character Name: Ryan Simons//Dusty Mood: Slightly Stubborn, Terrified//Excited, Slightly Nervous, Stubborn, Happy To: Frostfire, Sunset and Drakoh the Night Furies IC Word Count: 315 Made By: Ellie Brigid at Olympian Prophecy

There was a loud thud, and Frostfire pulled away from Drakoh, her head whipping into the direction of the sound. She was ready to attack, ready to kill whatever was threatening her, but it was that human. The one who had helped Drakoh before. Standing, Frostfire looked at Dusty. "Well, you heard right." Bounding over to the human playfully, Frostfire felt humiliated. It was the only way to make him help Drakoh! "Drakoh's hurt." She told Dusty quickly.

The thump made the dock leaves slide off of Drakoh's arm. He cursed in Dragonese before staggering foward. "Hi Dusty... can.. can you help me?" he stammered, before shaking on his legs and falling over. He smiled sweetly at Ryan before resting his head on the floor.

Momentary panic flooded through Ryan. Why the heck was Dusty acting like this was a joy trip? Those two could eat them! Then, quite suddenly, relief washed over Ryan. The dragon with the blue markings came bounding up to him in a playful manner. It was then that realization sparked in his grayish-blue eyes. "Oh... it's you guys!" the boy sighed in relief, coming back to his senses. The two dragons that he had met in the forest earlier, of course! He shook off the feeling of dread; looked like his panic just over came his senses and memory apparently. "You guys almost gave me a heart attack," he laughed.
"He often does that when I drag him into things," Dusty purred, then looked at Frostfire, slight worry flooding into his eyes. "Again?" he asked, tilting his head. Then his attention turned to Drakoh when he addressed him. "Hello," the Brown hurred back, then as the Night Fury continued, his eyes were drawn to the leg. "Oh dear... isn't that the same leg?" he hurred, his voice concerned. "I don't think I can... I'm not good with herbs, sorry. What happened this time?" Dusty asked, taking Ryan's sleeve in his mouth and tugging.
Ryan looked at Dusty, then at Drakoh. "You okay there?" he asked, then his eyes went to the leg. "Uh... on second though, you don't answer that," he amended. He went to his sack and pulled out a small bowl like before and added some water from his gourd. "What's it this time?" he asked, not even sure why he was asking, he wouldn't understand them. Then he watched the dragon get up, stagger and fall. "Hello," Ryan said with a gentle smile at the Night Fury. Well, whatever was wrong, first it was important to keep out infection. The boy took out another small pouch from within the food sack and put a marigold into the water and started mashing it.Character Name: Ryan Simons//Dusty Mood: Scared, Happy, Concerned//Happy, Concerned To: Frostfire the Night Fury; Drakoh the Night Fury IC Word Count: 334 Made By: Ellie Brigid at Olympian Prophecy

As Frostfire watched the human pour water into something, she was calmed by his gentleness. Her sapphire eyes were soft as she made her way over to Ryan. The Night Fury nudged his hand gently, then laid down next to him. Heaving a sigh, Frostfire watched as the human mixed herbs.
Frostfire's ears twitched when she heard Sunset growling in the cave far above them. She knew he wouldn't be happy about the human in his territory, and Frostfire narrowed her eyes. If he would attack, Frostfire would be there for Ryan.

Drakoh was about to try and sleep when Sunset's growl reached his ears. He glared at the mountain. "Try if you dare!" he roared. He would protect Ryan and Frostfire with his life if he had to. Which was something he had never done before. ((Sorry for fail short post. I still have the damn flu. Merry Christmas ))

Ryan looked up as he felt sapphire eyes on him. He stopped his mashing and looked into the eyes of the female dragon with long sapphire stripes. "Hello there," he said softly, smiling. She nudged his hand and then laid down by him; Ryan couldn't help a grin. He took his hand and gently patted her head before going back to his mashing. Dusty curled beside his human as he watched the boy pour and mash up plants. It was a curious technique for wounds, but it worked none the less.
His tail swished and his ears laid back as he heard a distant roar above them. "Uh, if it's not to personal," Dusty hurred. "Whose territory is this?" he asked uneasily. Dusty eyed his human who had also heard the noise and had looked up, a ghost of nervousness flickering across his face. "Sure, I see no dragons for thirteen years, and now I'm on a dragon finding spree," Ryan said, smiling and shaking his head in disbelief. He didn't exactly feel unsafe, but a small feeling of unease began to prickle up his spine. The brown and the human both looked at Drakoh in confusion as he roared back to the distant sound.
After a few more moments of mashing, Ryan got up. He rose a bit slower than usual so he wouldn't startle the two dragons who were on either side of him. The boy made his way to the male dragon and lifted up a piece of fabric. Ryan titled the substance towards Drakoh incase he wanted to sniff it or anything first. "Do anything but lick it, doesn't taste to pleasant," he said soothingly. He took the fabric and dipped it into his marigold mash. "Ready, boy?" he asked the dragon, looking at the wound on his leg.OOC: YAY! ^^ *hugs Emily* You're back!!! Frostfire laid her ears back in disgust when Sunset's roar echoed throughout the mountains. She lifted her head and snarled, sliding out her shining teeth as she did so. Then, looking to Dusty, her eyes calm again, she said, somewhat hushed, "Sunset, my brother." She looked to Drakoh, laying on the ground, before continuing. "He and Drakoh fought... Well, let's just say I'm not welcome anymore." A weak smile was all she could manage.
Standing, Frostfire lumbered to the other side of Ryan, so she was between him and the mountain. The Night Fury narrowed her sapphire eyes, staring at her old den. A few small rocks tumbled down from the entrance. Would Sunset dare attack?

Drakoh nodded and stretched out his leg, but the sound of stones clattering distracted him. He let out a low growl. Try if you dare!

Dusty slightly laid his ears back as another roar ripped through the air. "Oh..." he hurred quietly. "Sorry to hear that," the brown dragon hurred sincerely, glancing up the mountain cliff. He looked over at Drakoh. "So that's how his leg got hurt?" he asked in concern. He tensed and spun around as a few rocks shifted and pebbles fell down the cliff sides. The brown looked to his human, who had tensed slightly. Both he and Ryan were not fighters at all. Ryan could barely harm a fly and Dusty's herbivorous teeth did little to no damage. Put them together and odds in a fight weren't that good.
Ryan gently applied the paste to Drakoh's leg. "Sorry if it stings, buddy, but it'll be better than it getting infected later on." He jumped as a few stones clattered down. Frostfire had seemed to place herself between him and the mountain, and Drakoh let out a low growl, also glaring up the cliff face. Ryan tensed, his grey-blue gaze also flickering up the cliff. There must be something going on here... then it hit him. His stomach sank. "There's another dr-dragon up there... isn't there?" he asked, looking at the three around him. By the looks of it, neither Frostfire nor Drakoh were happy about it. From their reactions, it looked like it was the unfriendly type.
