Four Pieces, One Hilt.

Curtis opened his eyes and would look around. He just woken up and it was a little later then he excepted to wake up at. He would get out and do what he usually dose in the morning, Throw his shirt on, Feed himself and Slity, check outside. It was pretty simple to do every morning. Curtis would walk over and would take the Broken Sword out of the Cupboard. He would look over at Slity "Ya know what Slity, Let's Head into town and see if I can use the Blacksmith." Slity would nod his head abit. Curtis would clear his bag out and would put the four pieces of the blade in and the hilt into the bag. He would go outside with Slity and would Jump on his back and would fly off toward town.

After about five minutes, They came to Berk. Slity landed in the middle of the town and Curtis dis-mounted, He would look around for the Blacksmith. It would take him abit but he would find the blacksmith. He would ask the person there if he could use the place for awhile. They didn't mind, nothing was needing to be made or repaired so it was free. Curtis would shut the door and would look around. He would take the four pieces out and would arrange them. "Hmm. Ill start with the two closest pieces to the hilt." He would take them and would start working with them.

[Luna Heiler & Ayer]

Luna woke up to snip and snatcher whining about being hungry, she sighed and opened her eyes. "sometimes understanding dragonese is mOre of a curse than a blessing" She yawned and sat up and put her feet on the floor. She looked out the window- it was a bright sunny day in berk. She got up and got dressed. She walked out to the main room in her house. She got some bread and dried fruit out of the cuppord and ate it while she picked up the small mess her dragons had made. She finished off her meal and cut up some fish for her dragons. They both ate it greedily. She had alot to do today, she needed to go to the market and get some food, she had just ate about the last of it, she needed to take the lock on her door to the blacksmith, it was not working correctly, She would need to pick her squashes out back, they were very ripe, and she couldn't go look for comfrey and juniper berries because she needed to stay close to town because someones nadder eggs were going to hatch soon and they wanted her to be there to make sure all the babies survived. Yes, it was going to be a busy day. She went to go get her pack, when she remembered that she had left it out at curtis' house the other day, great another thing to do. She found a basket and put the broken lock in it and set out for the blacksmith, which was closest before she headed off to market. She made sure both her dragons were following her and walked out the door.

Curtis would take the peice out and would put it in water. "Two peices done. 3 more to go" Curtis would take the joined peices and would go to the grinder wheel and would smooth out the part where he melted the two peices togather. He was sure not to catch the desing on it. He would look at it, So far the blade part he has finished looked like it was one whole peice to begin with. Curtis would walk over and would grab the next peice and would repeat Melting it to get it to attatch, Put it in the water. Smooth it. Now he knew how it was to be a blacksmith. Heh, He wouldn't mind being one it would get boring after awhile.

Curtis would place the Large peice on the work table. "Three peices togather, Just need the tip and the Hilt, Then i need to sharpen it." Curtis would hear a knock at the door.

[Luna Heiler & Ayer]

Luna walked down the street and stopped in front of the blacksmith shop. She knocked at the doorand waited for the blacksmith or his apprentice come to the door. When someone finally did come to the door, it wasn't the big burly blacksmith or his slightly smaller apprentice, it was a much more familiar face that she was much happier to see. It was Curtis! "what are you doing in town? in the blacksmith shop, no less!" she smiled at him, remembering what had happened the last time they had seen each other. She waited for him to reply before explaining what he was doing before she told him that she was there about a broken lock.

Curtis would smile at Luna. "You remember that Broken sword I had?" Curtis would look behind himself at it then back at Luna "Well I asked the Blacksmith if I could use this place for afew hours until i got it all Melded back togather, Sharpend and clean. Here come here Ill show you what I have done" Curtis would shut the door once Luna was inside. He would pick up the Melded peice of three. The Hilt and End peice were still on the table. "This is what I have done, Starting with the blade then the hilt." The Sword would look big so far. There was still that end peice that was needed, It looked old but Curtis was sure of himself once he got it all cleaned and sharpend it would be a really useful sword.

Curtis would look at Luna "Broken Lock? Let me have a look at it." Curtis would take the lock and would look at it. "Even I could get this fixed quickly. Give me a few minutes and ill be back." Curtis would leave with the lock. But assured he returned about twelve minutes later handing the lock back to Luna. "There you go, It's all fixed now" Curtis would laugh abit.

[Luna Heiler & Ayer]

Luna walked in behind him and examined the portion of the sword he had finished. She could hardly tell it had once been pieces. She looked at the size of it and was suprised that there could still be more to add to it, it was already so long and large, she knew she would never be able to fight with or against that sword and win. She probably couldn't even maneuver it gracefully. She was much better with smaller weapons. The sword was beautiful too, there was an engraving on the side of the blade of a dragon, it was going to be a very nic and useful sword once he was done with it. She sat and watched him work and tried to keep snip and snatcher out of his way while he did it. He made quick work of the lock and after only a few minutes he handed it back to her and it was as good as new. She got up and thanked him, he had a smudge of something on his face, she used her thumb to take it off and then smiled at him. "oh! I almost forgot, I think I left my pack at your house the other day, have you seen it there?" Luna asked him and waited for an answer.

Would laugh and smile at Luna. "Mhmm. Ya I forgot to bring it with me today. Wasn't sure if I was going to run into you" Curtis would think for a minute, He would look around the Small shop. "Well I should get this Sword done before The blacksmith comes back. Ill Talk to you later today alright?" Curtis would look at the sword and would continue on with his work after Luna would reply. He was getting close.

"that's fine, just bring it with you next time." Luna replied. He glanced away and looked at his work before saying he should get back to it. He seemed exited to get it finished. He promised he would find her later before saying goodbye."goodbye, for now Curtis! Come on snatcher, snip." she smiled at him as she walked out the door with her dragons behind her and cloSed the door behind her. Luna continued down the street to the market, still smiling.

Later in the Day, Curtis would look at the Sword, He had put it togather. It was Clean and Sharpend, It look and work very well. Curtis would of decided to put the new sword on the other side of his waist. Now he had both his sword with him. Curtis would walk out of the blacksmith and would look around, It was sometime in the evening. Curtis decided to fly back to his home to grab Luna's bag and bring it back. Curtis would hop off Slity and would knock on Luna's Door.

Luna had just come in from out back, she had been picking her squashes and had heard a knock on the door. She hurried inside and scuttled over to the door and swung it open. Standing on the doorstep grinning was Curtis. She smiled roguishly and asked "so how about that sword?" she asked. As he replied they walked inside and She listened to him speak as he sat down. She walked over to her counter and set her squashes down on it. She came over and sat next to him. "so" she said "let's see it, shall we?" her eyes fell to his waist and he fingered it.

Curtis would nod his head. "Here your bag first" He would hand over Luna's bag, He would then take the Large sword off his waist. Curtis would hold the sword by the hilt with the blade facing the ground. When Curtis held the sword it didn't look heavy at all. He would hand it to Luna to allow her to see it better and see how heavy it was. "Heavy for you isn't it?" Curtis would laugh abit as he looked around the home. "Looks better when its all togather, Cleaned, Sharpend then it was in five pieces isn't it" Curtis would look at the sword then to Luna.

Luna took her bag from him and hung it on the hook, she turned around and he had taken the sword from his waist. It was incredibly long and wide. She was suprised at how easily he maneuvered the large blade. He handed it to her, it was really heavy, she had a hard Time lifting, forget trying to use or use it properly for that matter. "yes, it very heavy...and quite cumbersome" she said examining it. she looked it over. 'if he can use this like he says he'll beable to, he could do some real damage'. She thought. "yes, it really looks nice, you did a good job." she tried to lift it and failed. It came back down on the floor with a loud thud "whoops" she said.

Curtis would laugh abit before taking the sword back from Luna. "Thank you Luna." He would smile and would put the large sword back onto his waist. Curtis would look around. "So what are you up to?" Curtis would examine the area. He liked to know his surroundings, Even if he had been to the same area either once, twice even a hundred times before. Things always change so he likes to see if anything is new.

He took the sword from her and put it back on his waist. She wondered how he walked around with that thing attached to him. Luna watched him as he looked around the main room. His eyes looked around the room, not stopping on anything in particular. She looked at him and asked "what are you looking for?"

Curtis would look over at Luna and shrug abit. "Just looking" Curtis would laugh. "Hmm," Curtis would think. What is there to do right now? He didn't know really. Curtis would look at the ceiling out of boredum and then back at Luna. "So, Got any ideas on what to do?" Curtis would raise his eyebrow waiting for Luna to respond.
