DATE & TIME : Dawn of June 6
WEATHER CONDITIONS : Cloudy
CHARACTERS INVOLVED : Hysterians (controlled by Pime2, Redkitebait and Luna)
PREVIOUS THREADS ? Prelude to war (technically parallel thread but meh)
[Baldr Bjorg]
(I hope you don’t mind if I occasionally do the minor action of your NPCs. I’ve done it purely because I need the interaction with my character. I shall colour coordinate “Things said by Red”, “Things by Luna” and “Things by me”)
Baldr glared at the cliff, he could see the Hooligans that there, watching us. “Not today,”[/b] he muttered to himself, then started to repeat with loader volume, “Not today, not today, not today!”[/b] He turned away and grabbed his head. He knew he wasn’t in the best condition for a fight now, he could feel his madness still in him. It was dissipating, but he knew from experience that it wasn’t going to be gone by midday at the earliest, probably closer to a day or two.
It was why he’d given an ultimatum rather than attack straight away. He knew he should not be in a battle in this mode; he wouldn’t be able to control himself. Some of his brethren would think of his madness as a blessing, he knew otherwise. It was the thing that kept trying to destroy him, might destroy him today.
“Baldr?” [/b] he slid his hands down and looked at the man by him. It was our head healer. Baldr smiled at him. “Don’t worry,”[/b] he said, “I’ll be fine.”[/b] He knew about Baldr’s madness, and he was probably one of the few men Baldr trusted for advice. He smiled at the healer then turn round and started to walk further into the camp.
”Alright!”[/b] He shouted so that everyone could hear, “It looks like Berk couldn’t wait another two days for our deal to run out. This means one of two things. Either they really haven’t got our leader to be.” [/b] His smile increased as he heard the some laughter dotted around the place, “Or their hiding her here and are going to fight for her. Of course we don’t know which one it is, so we must assume the latter until proven otherwise.”[/b] He heard cheering around the place. Some people really did want to get killed, Baldr thought to himself, must really want to take their enemies to Valhalla a lot.
“So! I think it’s time we get ready for war ourselves! Starting with some target practice.” [/b] The main pro of having this mania problem, he found, was that he always came up with better lines, and he enjoyed himself much more. “Prepare the catapults and trebuches to aim at the cliff, but don’t fire until I say.” [/b] I still have a lot more to prepare.
