PERSONALITY: Elise is a very playful dragon, always choosing to mess around when she should be taking care of her responsibilities. She is also very curious, finding amusement and interest in the customs and life style of the two-legged beings her kind had learned to live with. But, like every dragon, she does have some issues, some which are more concerning than others.
Elise, unfortunately, has an extremely short temper, even more than what her kind is said to be. She isn't one to forgive easily either. If someone even dared to upset her, she will more likely than not hold a grudge against said person until s/he makes it up to her. But, even then, it wouldn't be a wise decision to assume she has completely forgiven you.
On the upside, that helps her ability to defend her close friends, her anger helping to fuel her ability to fight if she must, though she tries to avoid physical fights as much as possible. Knowing perfectly well how much she is lacking in her fighting skills, Elise tries to win her battles with her wits and flight abilities.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Even though she stands at a good nine feet, Elise isn't as bulky as most other of her species are. She's actually a bit thinner than she should be, having a hard time with hunting and finding food on a daily basis. But, her wing and shoulder muscles are actually a lot stronger and bulkier than most others, having flown around for long periods of time when she was young. Her eyes are a dark golden-orange like her mother's, but her scales are a bit different from the usual colors of a Nadder. Her scales aren't the usual dark blue color, but rather a more green tone. Her underbelly is the normal beign color and her orange splatters are relatively normal, though they are a bit darker than most others but one would have to look at them carefully before noticing the difference.
ABILITIES: Like most other Deadly Nadders, Elise has the hottest fire of most dragons, and she has the ability to fly. But, with her relatively smaller build, she can fly fast and more agile than most of her kind.
HISTORY: Elise was born with four other siblings, three brothers and one sister. Her early years were simple; she played with her siblings and received love and are from her mother. Her father, though, was hardly ever there if at all. At first, he did come to the nest often, bringing fish and other food. He even brought these white, fluffy things that always made some sort of odd braying sound. But, as she and her nestmates grew, he came less and less until he just didn't come. It was a sort of depressing thing for Elise, but it was then her curious nature began.
Once she was at the age where she could fly to a limited extent, she would go off on her own to look for her father, curious as to where he disappeared to. As her wings became stronger, she was gradually able to fly longer and farther. Ny the time she and her siblings were to leave the nest, Elise was a much more skilled flier than the others, having been off flying instead of wrestling and hunting with her brothers and sister. But the came at a cost. Having skipped out on the hunting trips, her strength wasn't where it should've been by then.
It wasn't until later though that she realized her mistake. As her hunting abilities failed her, food was something that was hard to come by, it was then that she began to hunt in the lands that her mother told her to stay away from. It was that day that she discovered vikings. Her curiosity compelled her to stay near the village of Berk, watching as the two-legged beings lived side-by-side with other dragons. Not to mention, she was easily able to snatch up some extra fish and sheep along the way, proving to be much easier catch than actually trying to hunt.
Since then, she has constantly traveled to and from the village for both food and just the plain joy of watching the vikings and other dragons. Though, she always kept a good distance away from them.

RP EXAMPLE OF THE CHARACTER YOU'RE APPLYING FOR:
[/blockquote][/blockquote]With her dark golden-orange eyes scanning the landscape, Elise tilted her head to the side to get a better view of the scene in front of her. That was always something she grew irritated of. She could never see what was right in front of her nose, and it was kind of an embarrassing thing too. Prey could be standing right in front of her, and she wouldn't even know it was there. Well, as long as they kept quiet. Faintly baring her fangs as a deep growl rumbled in her throat, she shook her head in her frustration, her tail spines fanning out before slowly laying back down against the scales of her tail. She kept her head spines up, though, not wanting to be caught off guard in case something happened to occur. You could never be too careful in this land, never knowing what might come up.
Giving her thin body another shake, Elise relaxed her shoulders as she let her wings hang for a moment before pulling them up, opening and stretching the thin skin. Digging her claws into the soft ground, she let out a faint purr at the comfort of the cool dirt. But, the moment quickly passed as she crouched down, locking her muscles before lurching into the air, her wings beating down as she waited for the air currents to catch. After a few moments of endless flapping, they finally did, the currents pushing her higher up. Oh, this was the thing she always treasured. The gift of flying was something that she loved beyond anything else. The freedom, the feeling, it all was amazing. She loved the soft brush of the air against her wing membrane, the tingly feeling of the wind blowing over her scales. Closing her eyes, the young Nadder closed her eyes as she enjoyed the gift she and her kind were bestowed with, never wanting to give it up.
