DATE & TIME : August 9th, middle of the night WEATHER CONDITIONS : Very clear, lots of stars CHARACTERS INVOLVED : Luna. Curtis. PREVIOUS THREADS ? n/a :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: [/color][/SIZe] I HATE FEELING LIKE THIS [/COLOR] [green]I'M SO TIRED OF TRYING TO FIGHT THIS[/green]I'M ASLEEP AND ALL I DREAM OF[/center][/b][/i] It had been a rotten day. Nothing specificity had happened to sour Luna's day, just in general, things had been long and achey and dull. Now, at the and of it, she lay in bed unable to sleep. She'd been staring at the ceiling for hours now with no way to find a passage into slumber as the silence settled around her.
She rolled over and saw Curtis. He, as usual, was asleep. He was laying on his side with his back to her on the other side of the bed. He, of course, had fallen asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow. After the first couple hours of tossing and turning, Luna had tried to turn to him for comfort. Even though she knew he was asleep and didn't know the difference, it had hurt her feelings a little when all he did was grunt and roll away after she'd tried to cuddle up next to him. He hadn't really moved since then.
And of course, times like this gave her too much time to think and it didn't take long for Her mind start wandering into the territory of her relationship with Curtis. It wasn't BAD by any means. She loved him more than anything, and she could only hope that he knew that after telling him so many times. And as far as she could tell, he loved her back. They weren't an unhappy couple. It was just... They were different than they used to be, not that different was necessarily negative, but everything was so serious now. She didn't know when it had started, though She couldn't help but feel everything she did stressed out Curtis. The biggest thing was the war. She literally caused a war and then almost got killed, dragging him into one giant situation he would have had nothing to do with if not for her. And there were other things like that ridiculous dragon Scratchet showing up and ruining their day that once. And now they lived together in the village and all they did anymore was work, not that other people weren't, there was a mess to pick up after the war. But she felt like she got to see him even less now. Even their attempt at a short get-away had been soiled when she had almost drowned and he'd had to send Silvia to fish her out of the sea. She sighed and looked back over at him again, he still hadn't moved. She just wanted him to be happy.
She wondered for a moment what to do. The idea came to her that perhaps they needed to stop over thinking things. Maybe they didn't need to take a trip away to get some alone time, maybe they just needed one night like it used to be.
Luna scooted over close to Curtis and knelt beside him. She placed her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it until he began to stir with consciousness. She whispered to him [red]"Come on, wake up, we're going somewhere. No dragons, just you and I."[/red] [pink][/pink] IS WAKING UP TO YOU [/size] :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::[/center][/color][/b][/i] Words: 513 Muse: OMG RIDICULOUS AMAZING Notes: haha, sorry. I was going to have a seizure if I didn't write for Luna. Also- please don't ask me where I'm going with this or if I have plans for it, I literally have no idea where this is going so lets just go with the flow I guess :3 ((EDIT- okay so I know where I'm going to have her take him but that's a suprise )) Tags: CURTISBOY

Curtis awoke as Luna moved him abit. He woke up slowly but heard the words that Luna whispered into his ear. He sat up abit and looks at her and nodded his head. He leaned forward and kissed Luna's cheek before slipping out of the bed. He stretched himself out for a second and then grabbed his shirt and threw it over his head and onto his body. He adjusted his shirt and looked over at Luna as she got herself ready.
He walked over quietly with her to the front door and opened it quietly for her. When she stepped out Curtis checked to make sure the dragons havnt woken up. When he found out they didn't he snuck out and shut the door behind him. He looks over st Luna and smiles a little. Still a little sleepy eye from waking up not that long ago. He was curious to know what she wanted to do or talk about. It didn't necessarily mean it was a bad feeling it was justa curious thought to him.
Curtis wrapped his hand around Luna's and walked with her across the bridge away from the village and into the forest. He walked with her along the dirt paths through that were laid along the forest floor by the many-a-Vikings. He looked down at their feet and back up for a moment.
A light breeze wisped along the forest. The dark sky was almost not as dark as it seemed. It seemed like it had a light coming from somewhere else aside from the full moon in the sky. The moon was with its place along with the stars in the sky's. All that could be hear in the forest, was the sounds of the night. The wind pushing the trees around and making their leaves ring out with rustling sounds, animals minding their business as they walk across the forest floor. The sounds and noises of tiny insects chirping into the sky. Ever once in awhile you might h ear a dragon in the far distance, across the island possibly.
It felt nice for Curtis to just be out, under the stars with the one that he loved. As they walked along the forest they just stayed quiet, little bit of small chat here and there but it was quick. Curtis looked over at Luna for a moment though.
"This night... It's exactly how it was like when we first met remember? We sat there under the stars and talked between each other." He smiled as he looked up through the tree canopy. "I still remember that night like it was yesterday." He smiles. "So.. What is it you wanted to talk to me about Luna?"

:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: [/color][/SIZe] TELL ME THAT YOU WILL LISTEN [/COLOR] [green]YOUR TOUCH IS WHAT I'M MISSING[/green]AND THE MORE I HIDE I REALIZE[/center][/b][/i] Luna stepped through the dark night forest. It was a warm Night, probably one of the last warm summer nights Berk would see in a while. It was wonderful. The breeze whispered though the foliage and crickets chirped in the distance. The moon shone the way through the trees. Curtis' hand was wrapped around hers. Up above them the starts twinkled in the sky. When they reached a clearing, Luna gazed up at them and smiled. Everything was perfect.
She looked at Curtis when he spoke. He smiled down at her. Luna spoke quietly and said [red]"I know. I remember it well too. I'll never forget thaT night ever. I saw Slity's white scales shining in the moonlight and wanted to kno what it was, but when I found him... There you were. Sometimes I wonder why it happened. What if we really only met by chance?"[/red] She paused [red]"Well then it was the best chance of my life"[/red]
She listened as he spoke again. She paused in her walking to reply [red]"Do have to want to talk about something to spend time with you?"[/red] Looking up at him, she smiled. [red]"I dont really have anything I want to talk about specifically, I just... wanted to see you. We've seemed distant lately. I see you every day, I shouldn't miss you this much."[/red] She wrapped her arms around him and set her head forward on his chest as she embraced him. She held on to him tightly for a moment, but before it could go farther than that she pulled away and and took his hand again [red]"Come on, lets go!"[/red] she said, setting of at a quicker pace.
Luna led them through the forest, heading towards the coast. Soon they arrived at the beach and Luna stopped before she stepped on the sand. She looked out over the waves. The refection of the moon across the black water was beautiful. She glanced up at Curtis [red]"We're here."[/red] she said simply. She gave him a sly smile before kicking off her boots and running down the shore laughing. Halfway to the water she collapsed in the sand and looked back at him standing there, waiting. [pink][/pink] I'M SLOWLY LOSING YOU [/size] :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::[/center][/color][/b][/i] Words: 389 Muse: awesome, as always for Luna Notes: yup. have fun!

Curtis laughed abit as Luna started running towards the waters edge. It was a cool night, not as cold as it usually got on berk but the fact that it was drawing closer to winter made the weather starting to get colder. He shook his head and slipped his boots off and ran over to Luna and help her up. He smiled at her and walked back wards towards the water watching Luna, he waited abit. Feeling the tide rises up against he feet. The water had a cool touch, cold almost. He moved forward a little to get away from the rising tide but he failed to do so. He just stood there feeling as the tides brushed against his heels every now and then.
Curtis looked around for a moment waiting for Luna to come oer to him. "Come on. Are you coming?" he said tilting his head abit looking at Luna as she stood there.

:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: [/color][/SIZe] COMATOSE [/COLOR] [green]I'LL NEVER WAKE UP WITHOUT AN OVERDOSE[/green]OF YOU[/center][/b][/i] Luna smiled as Curtis helped her up from the sand. She watched him walk down to the water's edge and stand as the cold water sloshed ashore and covered his feet before retreating into the ocean again and starting once more. [red]"yeah I'm coming."[/red] she said in reply. She stepped forward and walked toward him, stopping when she stood before him [red]"Don't worry, I'm never far behind you"[/red] She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a squeeze before letting go. She tilted her head back and looked up at him. [red]"It would be a lot easier for me to kiss you right now if I wasn't so small, you know that?"[/red] she laughed [red]"oh well"[/red]
She sighed [red]"Listen, I'm sorry I woke you. I hope you're not upset... I just, you know, thought we needed some...time."[/red] The thought hadn't really crossed her mind that he might become irratable because she'd woken him until now. Perhaps it was because it was a difficult thing to get Curtis worked up about most anything. And She had learned with him, that even if he was upset about something he wasn't good at expressing it, or he chose not to (unless you really got him mad- then it was obvious, but she had only seen him like that once). It was partially good because he was always very gracious toward her, but sometimes it was frusterating for Luna to not know what he was thinking or feeling, espeically when she felt there was some way she could help. But that was just a part of Curtis, and she knew she loved him the way he was.
Luna looked out over the water and wondered if they would end up going for a swim, she always liked that. But she wasn't going to say anything about it. If he wanted to, then she would as well, otherwise she was fine as well. Being together was what was important to her right now. As long as he was happy, it didn't matter to her.
The red-haired girl turned around and stood close to him as she leaned with her back against his front. She felt His idle hands hanging by her waist as She stared up at the twinkling stars in the sky. The ocean lapped at their feet. She recalled what Curtis had said earlier about this night being exactly what it was like when they'd met. She wondered how long ago that had been. [red]"You know, I was scared the first time Isaw you. You had a sword and you know how I'm jumpy like that. But when you were so nice, I realized there was something perfect about you to me. I didn't know what it was then, but now I know that even in its earlierst stages, I think I loved you. But I didn't know yet, I had never felt it before."[/red] she giggled [red]"And I knew you were incredibly cute"[/red] She hung her head back, looking directly up at him. She whispered [red]"Do you remember what you thought of me, Love?"[/red] I DON'T WANT TO LIVE [/size] I DON'T WANT TO BREATHE[/size] UNLESS I FELL [white]YOU[/white] NEXT TO ME:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::[/center][/color][/b][/i] Words: 514 Muse: [: Notes: Hopefully I gave you more to work with this time... I tried!

Curtis smiled as he looked up at the stary night sky. He nodded his head abit and looked down at Luna again and smiled.
"What I thought of you.." He said in his normal voice. "What I thought was you were just another ordinary girl sitting outside under the stars on your own. I thought you were someone else that I was just going to meet once and possibly not talk to again. I though that you were someone who just enjoyed being outside." He said as he looked at up again. "But." He looked down into Luna's eyes once again. "You werent an Ordinary girl. You werent just someone i met once and forgot about, You werent just someone who enjoyed being outside."
He paused for a minute. "Your a girl with eyes that say one thing but your past says another. Your life isnt ordinary, its extra ordinary. Wether you had alot of Good turns, or alot of Bad turns." He paused again. "That girl that i met on the stone platform looking up at the night sky, Wasnt just someone i met once. It's someone i've met time and time again. In any situation, Good, or bad. Happy or sad." He paused again and smiled. "Your not just a girl that enjoys being outside. Your a girl who enjoys being every where. Doing what she loves and being with who she loves. It's all you. All of that and more, is what I love about you. " He looks off to the side and blushes a little, something he hasnt done in a while.

:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: [/color][/SIZe] YOU TAKE [/COLOR] [green]THE PAIN I FEEL[/green]WAKING UP TO YOU NEVER FELT SO REAL[/center][/b][/i] Luna could only breathe quietly as Curtis described his feelings. His response was more complicated than she had anticipated, and surely more complex than what she'd had to say.
She smiled and let his words sink in, dwelling on every syllable, interpreting every letter. It wasn't often he opened up like this, and when he did, she treated the time with a delicate touch. His words warmed her heart, her eyes sparkled with a light of joy.
[red]"Curtis... I really have no idea what to say back to that..."[/red] She turned and faced him before wrapping her arms around him and setting her head on his chest. [red]"I guess you could say that your unpredictability is what makes you so interesting, you just... Never fail to surprise me."[/red] Luna felt bad that she couldn't describe her feelings as well as he just had. It was almost like the thoughts were too intricate to speak in words, but she felt like she should be able to.
She sighed and broke herself away, suddenly feeling awkward around him. She walked a few steps away. She furrowed her eyebrows and stepped ankle-deep into the sea Crossing her arms and looking out over the waves. She looked down at her feet and ran her hand through her tousled red hair. There was a few moments of silence between them, and when Luna finally spoke, her voice was curious, with an undertone tinged with troubles. Without wavering her gaze from the distant watery horizon she said [red]"Tell me, Curtis. What do you mean by 'Eyes that say one thing' but my 'past says another?"[/red] That phrase seemed particularly peculiar, and she was rather confused as to what he actually meant by that.
