Hiya, I’m new here and I was wondering about a couple things about the human application. Mind a few questions? xP I know the rules said not to ask stupid ones, but metaphorically-blonde Serenity can’t tell if these are stupid or not because she doesn’t know the answers to them. If they’re unnecessary, please just tell me so bluntly and I’ll apologize very nicely. (:
-What is the ‘Alias’ section under the ‘Name’ section for? Is that like for their nicknames? -Would it be allowable to incorporate the personality section with the history section? I’d like to be able to write about how my character’s personality changed as she got older. -Is there a limit to any of the sections (other than balancing the strengths and weaknesses out)? -Is there a minimum/maximum to the personality, history, and dragon personality sections? I know it said to write a few paragraphs, but how many sentences would you define a paragraph as, and how many paragraphs would you define ‘few’ as? -Could I make an application for my human character and then a separate one for her dragon?
Thanks! -Serenity <3

Hey there! Welcome to BerksDragons!
In my opinion there are so such things as stupid questions :3 Don't be afraid to ask questions!
- An 'Alias' is pretty much what the character is also known as, like a nickname of sorts. (or what their ennemies know him as x3)
- You can talk about how your character has changed in personality over the years, but the Personality section of the Application is for the character's current personality, of how you will roleplay them when they're accepted.
- I guess there is a general ruke of thunb about dragon characters who have lived hundreds of years but only have maybe 2 paragraphs in their history. It makes us Admin go 'surely more has happened in the x number of years your character has lived?'
- There's no real limit to be honest. The fuller, the better, but I see most people put a couple of paragraphs to explain thenselves. So 'few' is often around 2-4 paragraphs. Often our RP'ers think up more stuff as they go along as they get to know their characters, so just put as much as you want really :3 We do have a minimum of 200 words for History and RP example, though.
-The dragon application is for when you make a dragon character. If you plan the dragon to be a character in it's own right, then you can. But if the dragon is close to their human and you also plau the human character then you should use the Dragon section in the human application. You can of course 'bulk up' the dragon infoyou give if you want, like appearance, history etc...
I hope this helps! If you have any more questions don't hesitate, we're all friendly here!
