Luna allowed herself to be folded Sven's arms in a sympathetic hug. She wrapped her arms around him as he did the same to her. It was good to know he tried to understand and her misery.
When he let go of her, she looked at him. She had misty eyes, telling her story and pouring out her secrets hadn't been easy for her, but she had managed to keep it under control for the most part. He had spoken in dragonese and so she continued, following suit. [red]"This is obviously not stuff I want anyone to know. Who does and doesn't know this could mean life or death for me."[/red] she paused for a moment. [red]"gods, I'm a mess. I hate living every day with fear. Keeping so many secrets every day is... Taxing."[/red] She stared into space for a few seconds.
[red]"I suppose you have guessed that Curtis already knows, but Ari does too. I didn't tell him, after he saw the mark he figured it out on his own, which scares me. He definitely isn't on my list of people to know my darkest secrets, but there's nothing I can do now. But I know I can trust you... And I suppose you'll be telling Hermes as well then."[/red]

"I swear by all means, I would never share this with anyone." Sven reassured. Luna then continued, expressing concern that Ari also knew of this deadly secret. The way she spoke, it was as if Ari was someone not to be trusted. Funny, Sven had perceived the healer in a sort of admiration, able to keep calm and carry on no matter the circumstances. Knowing Luna better than Ari, he took this into consideration.
Luna assumed that he would impart this news to Hermes too. Sven immediately shook his head. "Nononono, I wouldn't trust that Dragon with secrets. I have no idea what goes through her mind sometimes. Ever since she found out about my, uhh, 'issues', she's been pestering me... It's not fun. I wouldn't want you to be bothered by her."
He had almost betrayed that he was also dealing with serious problems of his own, caused by the shock of war more than anything else. Hermes knew this, but also was incorporating the factor of the loss as a big contributor too. Luna didn't know that Hermes had banned him from flying.
That got him thinking about Hermes. She could get impatient sometimes, especially when she was concerned about him. Sven should better make his leave before she goes and invites herself into an Anti-Dragon household.
Sven finally switched back into the common tongue.
"Speaking of the Devil, I better keep an eye on her. She's be really fidgety recently. I'll let you rest up; I really hope you get well soon... I'll start finding supplies for your new house! I hear the carpenters are planning something special to accomodate bigger dragons!" He hoped to sound optimistic, but the fact that Luna had lost the building she called home and the sentimental value of it could not easily be replaced.
He got up from the bed, pocketing his charm. He smiled warmly at Luna. "I'll see you soon, if you need me don't hesitate to ask someone to find me. I won't be far." He finally bade farewell to Luna, leaving the patient's room. Passing Siv once again, he nodded a farewell before seeing himself out.
Just as expected, Hermes was just down the road, peeking into someone's front window. Sven rolled his eyes and zipped up his jacket - the air was chilly outside. With a click of his tongue, Hermes was notified of his presence, and ceased whatever the hell she was doing.
On the empty bed of the Hysterian, forgotten, lay the Dragonologist's Notebook.

Luna gave a sad smile as Sven promised not to share her secrets. [red]"I knew I could trust you Sven, thank you"[/red] She was at least glad he had learned the information from her than some other source. It was still unsettling to her that Ari figured her out without a word of it out of her mouth. Now there were three people who knew her dark secrets. Curtis, Ari and Sven. She desprately hoped these three men could Keep them.
When Sven announced that he would be taking his leave, she bid him good day.
Luna took the extra pillow That Sven had graciously retrived for her from behind her wounded back and set it beside her. Then she layed her head down on the remaining one. She lay on her side, facing the wall, and wrapped her arms around the other pillow. Then she Pulled the blanket over her shoulders.
In only a couple of hours, she had become emotionally drained. There had been so much to confront in this small portion of time. She felt hollow inside, like all of her spirit had been used up.
She closed her tear-cradling eyes and sighed, releasing a shuddery breath. And perhaps for once, fate took pity on the helpless girl and Luna fell softly into peaceful, dreamless sleep.

Ari did his check up on the Hysterian as he waited for a form of an all clear, with Siv coming in to tell him that Sven had come in prolonging when he could take the captive patient back. Eventually Siv told him everyone was gone.
He walked in, Harold in toe, and looked over at Luna who had fallen asleep. He was glad of that, it meant he didn’t need to worry about her being conscious and feeling uncomfortable with this man, least not for now. As he get the man back into bed, he noticed a book lying on it. He picked it up and, once he was finished with Harold, took it back with him into the other rooms.
He sat down and did the same thing he always did with books, make sure it didn’t require linear reading then skim through it from the end backwards. The latter pages were blank until it came to a page where he’d written down a load of herbs, causing Ari to smile. “Looks like Luna’s been giving Sven extra lessons.”
Then there was a picture of what he recognised as Hysterian ships. It then started to show dragons, which he had no interest (though the third dragon he came to was very interesting, as were all the writings that went with it. He bookmarked it then went on) he turned the pages quicker and quicker until it came to a girl. He stopped turning the pages and started to read…Now this was interesting. (Yes, I did look through the pre-war threads to work out what would be where XD)
