Hi, just want some feedback on a custom dragon breed that I just created. Any questions, comments or critiques would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Changed glass with metal.
------
Breed: Snow Wraith
Coloration: Whites, creams, grays and blacks.
Main body colors: Fur is white, off-white (cream or really pale tan) or pale grey. Plates are dark shades of almost any color.
Rare body colors: Browns, reds and dark grays. Never bright colors.
Eye colors: Blues and silvers are the most common, but can be almost any color. Bi-colored eyes are not uncommon.
Temperament: Are a generally peaceful and gentle natured unless they feel threatened, but are usually solitary and enjoy their alone time. Most are very stubborn.
Abilities:
Corrosive Bite: They have a corrosive acid that they store in a pouch in their throat that they can secrete when angered. Comparable to hydrofluoric acid, it will quickly melt through rock and metal. Best not to get on your skin unless you want to loose a limb.
Extreme Stamina: These dragons have abnormal amounts of stamina, and can run at a steady pace for many hours without needing a break.
Appearance: These dragons have thick barrel chests and long thick legs. They are about the size of a Clydesdale, females typically a bit smaller than males. They are a flightless species, so they have no wings. These dragons are covered in thick, plush fur that keeps them warm, which is thicker on their necks and chest. Their faces and backs are covered in hard dark scales that feel like leather. These scales have a high iridescent sheen. They have tiny round ears like otters. Their four toes splay out and have thick fur between them to help with walking on snow. Their tails are long and covered in sweeping fur, looking much like a horse tail.
Living Habits: This dragon breed lives in the mountains and the snowy forests that surround them, but can still thrive in warmer climates because of their plates.
Food Sources: Mammals such as deer and wild boar. One of the few species that will willingly kill and eat other dragons smaller than itself. Easily trained to not eat other dragons though, and will usually try to find something else to eat before chowing down on its own kind.
Noises:
Mostly deep purrs, clicks and woofs, but also has a very deep threatening roar when threatened.
Other:
The leathery plates on the body and face are filled with blood vessels that expand and contract to help regulate body temperature. What they lack in speed they make up in stamina. They can reach up to 50 mph, but usually go at a steady 30 mph, which they can keep up for five or more hours.
