Ari watched in surprise as the dragon removed the cord and pulled out the hook, still connected to the remains of the fish. The dragon looked at the two of them intrigued before jumping back into the water. Summer asked him a question, but before he could think of a reply the dragon was back.
Ari had seen big fish over the years, both through his own fishing and that of the main workers. While this wasn’t the biggest, it was high on the list. The dragon went to him, causing to flinch slightly before the dragon dropped the fish in front of him. That fish was for him.
It took Ari a moment to realise that, and another to understand why. This dragon wasn’t stupid, whether it knew exactly what had happened Ari would never know, but the dragon knew he’d caused it. Ari did a small bow, muttering, “Thank you.”
He heard the Viking’s question and shook his head, “no, as tempting as that sounds,” he did his best (successfully) to make sure that there was no sarcasm in his voice in that statement, “I don’t want a dragon, I’ve never got on with them really. Anyway, he’s apologizing, that’s all.” He picked up the fish, “Now, if you don’t mind, could you go and get my walking staff and my other stuff from the pier, with my leg and all I kind of need the support for walking a proper distance and I’m going to go home now.”
(OOC: don’t worry about lengh, I on average am less than 100 over the minimum, and my last post on this thread was a 200 word post.)

Pythos smiled a toothy, sharp toothed grin towrads Ari when he accepted his fish. Listening to the two humans converse between themselves, Pythos turned towards the Fireworm with curiosity. "Is one of them yours?" He asked with curiosity ringing in his tone. It has always intrigued him that humans and dragons could live together and co-operate as one. He never really found that easy to do, seeing on his michevious aditude around them.
His pupilless eyes glanced around, listening into the humans conversation that was going on near by. The long fin that ran along his back pricked up slightly when a chill wind blew over him. Pythos felt his scales shake at the cold breeze, bringing his tail to wrap over his claws.
((OOC: Did this quickly at school o-e Not very happy with it -.-))

Summer listened to Ari say why he wouldn’t take this dragon as a dragon of his own. She shrugged her shoulders and looked at him. ”Alright. Suit yourself. He could be really helpful you know. Or he could just be your fishing buddy and he helps you when you come out here? I don’t know I think it would be cute.”
She gives a little laugh at the thought of the dragon basically herding the fish towards Ari so that they would bite the hook whenever he came out here to fish. It would take the waiting a long time for a bite to work. When Ari spoke once more Summer just looked at him with a cocky smile. Sarcasm plain in her voice she sighed before talking again. ”You know. That would be all fine and dandy. I would go and get you your walking stick if there was a place to walk from here. But as you can tell,” at this she stuck her hands out to the side to mention to all the water around them, ”we are kind of in the middle of the ocean standing on two rocks. I think it would be best for me to just fly you on over to the pier. Especially since I’ve seen your swimming ability.” She couldn’t help but hold back the huge grin that was starting to cover her face. When Fireworm heard Pythos speak to her, her head snapped from the conversation between the two humans to him. She smiled a toothy grin before speaking. ”Yeah. The girl is. Her name is Summer. I’ve been with her for about 3 years now I believe.” With that said she saw Pythos wrap his tail around his claws and she assumed it was from the breeze. But the breeze didn’t bother her so she stayed in her exact position. ”So why don’t you have a human? I mean if you want one of course.” She looked at the other dragon curiously.[/blockquote][/blockquote] STARRING : Summer, Fireworm, Pythos, & Ari WORDS : 333 STATUS : Finished NOTES : Sorry for late reply! He looked around as she pointed outwards; he’d assumed they were on land actually…strange. He did sigh though, “I didn’t exactly say ‘walk over the sea’ now did I? I’d been expecting your dragon to be used to get us out of here, though really saying middle of the ocean is a bit much, we’re what, 30-40 yards from the sure. And to be fair, how many cripples do you know with good swimming technique? Especially when they’re bein dragged by a water dragon via a rod!”
He was surprised with himself, that was the first time in a while he’d ever been so riled. He was silent as he got on the dragon. Once they got back to the pier, he thanked them, took his things and started to limp back home. “Enjoy the rest of your day Summer,” he shouted back as he was about half way down the pier, he didn’t turn round to say it though.
Now he needed to get home and get dried. He was sure Siv would enjoy the story, though he was defiantly sure she’d like the fact he’d gotten a fish out of it, even if it was given to him by the dragon that had eaten the one he’d caught.
