DATE&TIME: 16/5 Afternoon WEATHER CONDITIONS: A bit cloudy CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Ingrid, Montore, Stormy, and anyone else. PREVIOUS THREADS: None {(AND I DON'T WANT)}
the world to see me "...Are you even listening to me?"
, came a sudden voice that yanked Ingrid from her personal world. Blinking, the short-haired teen turned her unfocused eyes to her friend where he was laid out in the grass beside her. "Y-Yeah...no.", she gradually confessed as the reptilian stared at her. She hadn't meant to block out her companion's voice like that, it had just been something that had happened. Nervously chuckling, she gently ran her fingers over Montore's smooth scales. "Sorry...I was just...lost in thought.", she explained, hoping he wouldn't ask what it was that she had been so focused on. Best friend or not, she didn't want him to know every thought that ran through her mind, some of them being embarrassing and not something she wanted to share. Ever. Curling the fingers of her free hand in the soft yet prickly grass that she rested on, Ingrid and her dragon companion were together resting in the woods where it had always been told that the first dragon had been tamed and made the vikings' closest friends. She really wasn't completely sure if everything she had heard was true. For instance, she was sure that there had been no huge, colossal dragon that Hiccup and his first dragon friend Toothless had fought to free the dragons. That was probably just something to frighten the younger ones and excite them. But, the simple story of how Hiccup had gained the Night Fury's trust seemed to be accurate enough. Of course, who was to really know what had happen centuries ago. Quietly sighing, the short-haired viking laid herself down, listening to the quiet crunching of the grass beneath her weight. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ As Ingrid's fingers continued to run over his smooth, black scale, Montore felt himself relax as the touch calmed his nerves and muscles. The touch of his friend was something that never got old, and it was the kind of attention he was always looking for. "So, what's on your mind?", Montore finally asked after a few minutes of silence, knowing there was something bothering his human companion. He knew perfectly well that the young female wasn't always thrilled when he brought up her issues, but that was something he always wanted to help with. That's what best friends were for anyways, right? Watching her with her bright violet eyes, he waited for her to speak, his claws gently brushing against the cloth of her pants, giving her reassurance. That was another problem he had always wished they could get by. Even though they were as close as anyone could possibly be, it always took a bit of effort to get the girl to talk about her emotions. She wasn't really open in that category, and he hoped that one day he would be able to finally get pass that. Faintly growling, Montore's head twitched back faintly as his ears caught the sound of...well, something behind them, but when he failed to hear anything else for the time being, the Ambassador turned his complete attention back to her.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] {('CAUSE I DONT THINK)} that they'd understand Speech ThoughtsWords of other charrie(s) TAGGED;: Stormy, Open? Storm was gliding overhead carrying her most recent prey, a deer, when she spotted an Ambassador dragon and a human below. She circled above, her body casting a huge black shadow onto the ground. She roared above, a random call to other dragons that may be near by. She heard it echo around, bouncing off the mountains that were not far from the forest below.
She looked up to the grey sky, lifeless looking and dull. She hated it. She loved the sun, so warm and comforting. She glided downwards, out of sight of the humans, and into the cover of the tree's.
As she landed, the soft leaf mold on the forest floor, careful not to crush her meal. After she landed, she quickly ate it. She made a complete mess of her muzzle and claws, having blood from the deer on them. She looked around for a stream, but was unable to find the glistening stream of water. She continued off, scraping her claws on a tree to get some of it off, as well as sharpen her claws.
She crawled into the tree that she had clawed, and continued to travel that way towards the human and the other dragon. Storm weaved her way through the tree's thick canopy, until she came up to where they were. She crouched in the leaves, her purple eyes glowing in the green background.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)}
the world to see me And there was the question she had been hoping to avoid. Closing her eyes as she gave a bit of an irritated sigh, Ingrid didn't respond for quite some time. Sitting back up again, she really wasn't in the mood to explain her personal issues, though...maybe it would be nice to talk to Montore about it. Finally opening her mouth to speak, she jumped as a roar sounded through the woods. Quickly standing, the short-haired teen looked up at the sky, a grin sliding onto her face as she spotted a very faint shadow. Looking for dragons was always something that the girl loved to do, her fascination in them never ceasing. "Did you see that?"
, she asked with enthusiasm as she swerved around to face her reptilian companion. "Do you think it's nearby? I wonder what kind that was.", she said, going on with her seemingly endless babbling as the questions and thoughts kept pouring from her mouth. Grabbing her small pack from the ground, she quickly pulled it over her head and positioned the strap onto her left shoulder. Flipping the cover flap open, Ingrid began her search in the cluttered bag for her notebook and pencil, hoping she had it with her. No, she didn't document every meeting or observation she made around dragons, but sometimes it was just nice to have it all ready and at hand in case it was a dragon species that wasn't too common in these parts. Unfortunately, as she was busying herself with that, she failed to pay attention to her surroundings, not even thinking of how close said dragon could've possibly been. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ It was difficult not to give a little chuckle at his human's reaction to the presence of another dragon. Her enthusiasm for the creatures was something he took pride in, happy that she was so interested in him and his kind. Also, it gave him the chance to be a bit of a show off at times. But, his moment of amusement came to an end as his head snapped around to face the edge of the clearing. Standing, Montore listened carefully for any kind of sounds that could hold a potential threat. With a faint growl rumbling deep in his throat, his short claws lightly scraped the soft ground beneath him as his head jerked to the side. The deep, dragging sound that came from the maze of trees brought him to become alert. Normal animals didn't make that kind of sounds against trees. Stepping protectively in front of Ingrid, he kept himself between her and the thick cover of trees, his violet eyes searching for any kind of movement that presented itself. Letting out a faint hiss, he gave it as a warning to whoever it was that lingered near. Her could feel Ingrid becoming nervous at his behavior as she rested a hand on his shoulder, but he didn't move, determined to protect his beloved friend and rider from whatever threat was present.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] {('CAUSE I DONT THINK)} that they'd understand Speech ThoughtsWords of other charrie(s) TAGGED;: Stormy, Open? Storms equally violet eyes stared through the thick foliage. With her now prominent interest in humans had brought her closer to the group of two, she stared at the girl with interest. Amazingly her english had been improving, but is probably still incoherent. She leaped from the tree's, graceful and delicately. Her wings folded comfortably to her side, but her eyes never moved from their strong stare.
Storm dug her talons into the ground, feeling the soft, moist dirt between her claws. She breathed out a hefty sigh, her breath stirring the ground. She began to pace around them, still somewhat focused on the girl and her dragon, seeing it growl at her. But Storm was almost twice the size, larger than the Ambassador dragon before her.
She did one lap before sitting on the ground, under the same tree she leaped from. Her tail curled around her claws like a cats. Her eyes kept watching, always alert if the dragon decided to attack. She felt something in her chest, it was a forming growl. Storm could sense the hostility towards her from the Ambassador, seeing on how she could not be trusted yet. But she stopped it, trying not to alarm them, trying to think she wouldn't hurt them.
Her deep purple eyes turned towards the dragons, staring back into the Ambassadors violet eyes. She kept her unbreaking gaze, until something clicked inside her head. An old instinct, a hatred for humans, along with a fear for them. Her eyes widened, becoming frightened and hostile too.
Storm leaped over the two of them, spinning around and crouching in a offensive position. A wild roar vibrated out of her lungs, filling the small clearing with the rattling noise. Her wings were open, trying to make herself bigger than she already was, and also ready to either use any of her abilities or fly away. But she hardly flies away from a battle.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)}
the world to see me At Montore's sudden movements, Ingrid became nervous, her eyes searching the woods. Though, she kept in mind that he could possibly be over-reacting, knowing well that he could be -- and usually was -- over-protective of her. But, she wasn't one to really complain about that. In fact, she found it reassuring that he cared so much for her and it brought a warmth to her heart. But, she wasn't too concerned with that at the moment as she peeked over her friend's shoulder to look at the clearly larger reptilian in front of them. Staring at the dragon, she was breathless at the brilliant color it possessed. The deep violet colored membranes along her back were something she had never seen before. The shimmering scales that covered her were up against her own Ambassador friend, having never seen such a lovely pelt.
With a smile stretching across her face, Ingrid attempted to duck underneath the neck of her guardian when the untamed beast suddenly took air once more. Or, at least she thought it did until it landed on the other side of them. Stumbling back into Montore out of surprise, she reached out behind her to grasp some part of him to keep her from falling, but she only managed to take a hold of his shoulder, proving to be little help as her hand slipped over his smooth scales. Unfortunately, at the sudden movement of her hand on his smooth, yet sharp edged scales, she winced as a few cut into her flesh before finding herself on the ground. Dazed for a few passing moments, the pain in her newly scratched hand was something she hardly took notice of, the stinging pain ignored.
Closing her hand to prevent it from bleeding too much, the short-haired viking quickly scrambled onto her feet as the violet membraned dragon before her began to show signs of aggression. "Shhhh, it's okay. It's okay..."
, she said softly, speaking in the language of the great beasts. She only wished to calm the creature, not wishing to alarm or hurt it. Even if she wasn't able to get an actual conversation out of the female, she would be happy enough to get it to relax around her, at least for the time being. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ At the appearance of the large newcomer, Montore could even feel himself becoming nervous. He wasn't much of a fight to begin with, and even if he was, his so-called "weapons" were practically useless. He didn't have sharp teeth or long, useable claws. It was really more for show and perhaps climbing, though he wasn't really ever good with that either. Growling, his scales began to ruffle, a selected few actually standing on end along his back like a wolf or a dog's bristling fur. Stepping back slightly, he hoped to maybe corral Ingrid farther back from the wild female, perhaps giving him time to get her onto his back and fly off. But, that plan wasn't going the way he wished as the young viking tried to get to the other reptilian. The female's next move, however, was something he hadn't actually expected. Tensing, his muscles bulged out faintly from beneath his skin, ready to protect his rider and closest friend no matter the cost. But, it seemed that she had other ideas. Ideas that he wasn't exactly pleased with. In his opinion, it was never wise or safe to approach a wild dragon. Though, if she actually followed that rule, then they would've probably never had met and he would most likely than not be dead, left tangled in that damned fish net. Storm growled at the Ambassador, showing that her teeth and her claws were larger, and that he shouldn't start a fight. Her eyes had been trained on the Ambassador that she hadn't realized how close the human had gotten to her. She froze, her muscles tense with fear and aggression. A soothing voice, clear and understandable came from close by. It made her loosen from her tensed position, her muscles relaxing.
"I'm.... Sorry for what I did. I never meant to alarm. I'm just getting used to humans, being near them. A long time ago, I would have probably killed you on the spot, my fear even stronger back then. I just don't want to be... Tamed. I want to be carefree and wild, not having to worry about anything on my back." She said in a low, solemn voice. It came out in dragonese, not as she intended, but it did.
"Long ago, well, maybe not THAT long ago, I hated and feared you creatures. Thought of you as cold hearted creatures, who imprison dragons to carry you around places." She was hoping she wasn't offending the little creature. And thank goodness she ate before she came here. Storm bet if her stomach started to growl, that Ambassador that was giving her a dirty look would suspect things. Well, if she was hungry she wouldn't be sitting her having a chat with the human. She would probably be trying to kill her.
Storm lied down on the crisp grass, her breath blowing over the grass, making it bend over. Bending it at her will. Her wings folded to her side, shuffling into a normal position while lying down. She was still taller than the girl like this, her long neck arched and curved like a snake. Breathing out heavily, she laid on her left side, exposing her stomach. With her right wing draped over her side, Storm laid her head on the ground, staring at the girl still.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)}
the world to see me She was honestly surprised by the response she received from the dragon. Of course, she had been perfectly happy with the fact that the female had finally calmed down and relaxed in her presence, but the reply to her words practically thrilled her. From experience, most wild dragons usually didn't respond to her attempts of a conversation right away. it usually took a bit more encouraging to get them to have a small conversation, and to have this great creature go head-strong into it was something that made her more than happy. Now having completely forgotten of the small gash in the palm of her hand, Ingrid crept a bit closer to the violet-membraned female before quietly sitting down in front of it. Of course, she kept her distance, allowing the dragon space and to not make it feel so crowded or pressured.
Behind her, she could still here the faint growls of Montore, bringing a faint frown to her face as she turned her head slightly to look at him. "Relax, Monty."
, she said, a faint hint of irritation in her voice as she addressed him by his nickname. Ignoring the faint snort he gave her, the young viking returned her undivided attention back to the female resting before her. "There's no need to apologize. There is nothing to blame against instinct and the desire to be free.", she said to the reptilian with a soft smile. Even though it did sadden her slightly, she knew perfectly well that most wild dragons felt that way towards the humans of her village. She really wished she could convince them differently, but not all were so open-minded to the idea that the dragons she and her people kept were companions that were free to make their own choices as well. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ Yes, he trusted Ingrid that she knew what she was doing, but could anyone really blame him for being anxious? There were a number of things that could've possibly gone wrong with this encounter. Something could cause the untamed reptilian to snap and attack out of nowhere, or perhaps the short-haired human could say something to upset it. There were endless possibilities, and -- while most were greatly unlikely and worse case scenario -- they were still quite possible in his mind. Shifting uncomfortably on his feet, Montore forced himself to relax somewhat, lowering his scales, though a few were still bristling along his haunches. As they say, 'One could never be too careful'. With that, he had hardly noticed the growl that still lingered in his throat until his human companion all but shushed him. Lowering the elongated scales on his crest faintly, it was hard to not snort at her comment. Quietly grumbling to himself, the male Ambassador eventually settled himself on the grass, the crunching of the plant becoming an irritating thing to her sensitive hearing. But, he didn't worry too much on that, his violet eyes remaining focused on the female dragon.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] {('CAUSE I DONT THINK)} that they'd understand Speech ThoughtsWords of other charrie(s) TAGGED;: Stormy, Open? Storm noticed the girl come closer, and sitting right in front of her muzzle. This kind of made her tense, fearing the worst of her wild instincts. If she wasn't in control she would have snatched up the girl and flew away before the Ambassador had a chance to pull things together. With her size she could even have the other dragon as a snack. But she held onto her calmness, but it did not stop the bile that rose in her throat. It burned furiously, painfully. Like liquid fire.
The calming words of the girl made her relax to the point that she actually moved her head closer to the girl, stopping right at her toes. Her eyes still lay open, glassy as she stared off into the sky. Storm has never been this close to a human, well, unless recalling battles and hunting, she has. But being calm was a first, and she seemed to like it. She could feel the young girls breath on her face, soft like a summer's breeze. And warmer than her cold, reptilian breath. Her's wasnt warm due to not shooting fire.
She froze, something rustling in the bush behind her. It got louder and louder till something bit her. She shot upwards into a standing position, and charged forwards, picking up Ingrid in the process. She shot up into the sky, fast with the wind currents at her very command, and up into the clouds. Her breathing was rapid, her heart racing. What bit her? Was it poisonous?
Storm didn't realize she had grabbed Ingrid with her foreclaws until she looked down. She saw the girl, probably frozen in shock and fear, as they soared high in the clouds. Her wings cut through the thick white clouds, creating a bubble of air around them. The clouds formed back the way they were behind them, as if nothing happened. She had Ingrid close to her chest, careful not to drop the human. Her heart was beating so fast she could bet that her unexpected passenger could hear it, even with humans bad hearing.
She slowly began to fly downwards, out of the cloud layer and into clear sky. She had circled around the clearing, her huge black body visible from the ground. She wasn't that hard to spot. "Oh my. Im so very sorry, I picked you up by mistake. I panicked and had no idea what happened..." She trailed off, now feeling guilty.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)} the world to see me Yes, the reptilian beast may have fell silent as she spoke, but it didn't really bother Ingrid. She was impressed, actually, by how calm this untamed creature was. Usually, wild dragons had a tendency to stay at a distance from her just as they did with most other humans. But, her, she was different. She wasn't backing off or making any sort of threats towards her. Smiling as she watched the Galewing, she wondered what was going through her mind. That was something the young viking was always wondering, dreaming of having powers to read the minds of dragons and to see the world through their eyes. But, of course, that was all child's play and something that would never happen. Unfortunately, as advanced as the were, being human had a long, long list of disadvantages. Unlike dragons, humans didn't have the ability of flight, the sharp, enhanced senses, or even a natural way of protecting themselves from danger. Really, if you took away their tools, weapons, shields, all of it; then they'd be sitting ducks practically.
Shivering slightly at the thought of being so vulnerable, the short-haired teen focused back on the violet-hued creature. But, she was shocked to find her muzzle so close to her. Not even a few moments ago, the female reptilian had been a few feet from her, but now...Now, she was actually in contact range. If Ingrid had really wanted to, she could've touched the grand beast right then and there. There were a number of reasons why she didn't, though. There was no telling how the wild beast would react to that kind of close contact, and it was nothing the girl would ever force a dragon to do. Holding her hand in her lap, she could feel the itch to reach out and touch her building up, but she had to keep herself under control. Losing herself like that could no doubt cause a number of serious consequences.
But, she shouldn't have paid so much attention to that, and focused on what was happening around her. Failing to notice the sounds behind the dragon, she didn't realize the potential danger she was in until the Galewing suddenly jumped to its feet and took to the air. Taking her with it. A loud scream ripped through her throat as she was suddenly lifted into the air, her legs kicking out as her body reacted out of instinct. With her heart racing and her mind panicking, Ingrid desperately tried to grab a firm hold on the female's forelimbs. Whimpering, her eyes stared blankly down at the shrinking land beneath her. She was always one who loved to fly, but...Well, she was usually on the back of Montore and not holding onto dear life.
Letting out another scream as she felt herself faintly slip beneath her clothing, Ingrid hardly noticed that in her desperate attempts to grab hold of the Galewing, her once small, insignificant cut was becoming stretched and exposed more, bringing her warm blood to the surface and seeping down her arm. Her breathing was quick and shallow, trying to find comfort in the closeness that the dragon held her at, but it wasn't enough to completely calm her as she hung beneath the reptilian. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see the dark shape of Montore beside them, roaring at them. Out of fear that the two could possibly end up in the fight or that her close friend would scare the Galewing into dropping her, she desperately tried calling out to him. "M-Montore! No, just...stop, please!"
, she begged at her Ambassador companion, not wanting him to get hurt in any way. She knew he was trying to help, trying to protect her but...she could stand to see him hurt because of her. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ His fault, it was all his fault. He knew he shouldn't have trusted that wild, savage Galewing. It was too dangerous for Ingrid to be doing this, and he should've stopped it when he had a chance. Severely scolding himself for letting his guard down so badly, Montore shot into the air as the female dragon suddenly took off, taking his human with her. Roaring at the reptilian, his once soft violet eyes burned with an anger. 'If that female even leaves a faint scratch on her, then I'll rip off her wing.', he snarled in his mind as his wings beat down against the wind currents. Kicking his legs to speed up his momentum, the Ambassador frantically tried to find a way to pry his beloved rider from the claws of the beast. Hissing, he flew extremely close to the violet-membraned Galewing. "Put her down!", he roared, his fury lining his voice as he let out a sharp screech. Maneuvering below the female, his eyes widened as he spotted the red tint of Ingrid's blood running down her arm. At that point, nothing was holding him back to attack the obviously frightened female, and he would've been more than happy to strike had his human companion not spoken out. Staring at her, Montore couldn't understand why she was so protective of this beast that had taken her. Hissing with great disapproval, he would've been lying if he had said he wasn't angered by this. But...well, he did as his rider requested. For now. Storm felt something hot run down onto her arm. The hot, sticky substance that all animals had. Blood. She couldn't smell it -thank the gods- or else that human would be gone probably. She disliked the taste of most reptilian blood, like other dragons, but warm blooded mammals like sheep and humans... Made her mouth water. She continued to fly, also aware of the black bullet behind her. She felt claws trying to pry open her iron grip, but with no luck. She flew faster, her wings creating a strong back current behind her.
Storm gripped tighter when the human slid slightly from her scaly claws. She did not want to drop the girl, only to keep her safe along with herself. The frill on her back was raised in alarm, still shocked by what had all just happened. She held her hands closer to her chest, still afraid of either crushing or dropping her precious cargo. That little human girl would be easily crushed if she had all of her strength behind her grip.
She hit a burst of speed, a thermal, and shot up at an angle towards the clouds again. "Everything is going to be ok. Im going to take us somewhere safe. Somewhere where things can't bite you when your not looking...." She said, lowering her head towards the girl but still flying straight. Her eyes were full of worry, staring back into the eyes of the girl. With her neck bent at 180 degree's, she did not notice the mountain coming appearing behind the clouds.
She slammed into it, still holding onto Ingrid, but letting out a moan of distress. Her neck cracked painfully, as she stumbled down the cliff side. Her wing stung like a bee sting, probably bruised. Again. She let out a roar of warning to anything on the mountain as she slid down it. She found a ledge and pushed off, right before hitting the treeline. Her one good wing was fully open, her injured on twitching at half way painfully. She spotted a clearing, the same one in the forest that she took off from. She curled around Ingrid, protectively as she crash landed.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)} the world to see me For a moment, it was a ll a blurry. She couldn't remember where she was or what had just happened for a brief moment as she laid curled up against the reptilian in a daze. Her heart was still pounding in her chest as adrenaline pumped through her body, sending small trembles and shivers through her arms and legs. Gradually opening her eyes, she started to panic for a moment as she was practically encased with darkness, only having a light violet glow surrounding her. It wasn't until she heard the breathing of the Galewing and feel the smooth surface of her chest that she realized what had actually happened. Flying. They had been flying. After that, she remembered the sudden impact that practically came out of nowhere, not having concerned herself with watching where the dragon had been going.
Blinking, Ingrid remained motionless for a few moments, trying to process it all before lightly pushing herself up onto her elbows, her head spinning. Giving a few weak coughs, she tried to roll onto her side and maybe get a better view of exactly where she was being concealed, she felt another sharp wave of adrenaline seep through her as her body suddenly dropped onto the ground, not having realized she had actually been resting on the creature. Landing with a soft thud, the short-haired teen gave a faint grunt as a jolt of pain shot through the shoulder she landed on. Crawling onto the grass, she gave out a small cry as the prickly grass penetrated the now large gash in her hand, burning her sensitive nerves that were now exposed to the outside world.
She tightly held her wounded hand against her chest, quietly whimpering at the stinging pain as she tried to squirm out from beneath the dragon's great wing. The sun was practically blinding as she jerked her head away from its unforgiving rays. Stumbling onto her feet, it took Ingrid a moment to get her balance. Unfortunately, she didn't have the chance to do that as a large, dark figure bounded up to her, knocking her and her clumsy feet back onto the ground as she was suddenly closely examined by Montore. His beak nuzzled and nudged at her skin as his voice loudly filled the air. "M-Montore, stop...I'm fine. Just dizzy. please, relax, I--"
, she said, cutting herself off when it finally clicked that she wasn't the only one who had been in that crash. Snapping her head around, the young viking hurriedly scrambled onto her feet, unconcerned about herself or the warning words of her companion as she went to check on the Galewing that had protected her. Stepping close to the female's muzzle, she gently kneeled by the great creature, her eyes scanning over the large form, searching for any obvious signs of injury. "Oh, gods...A-Are you okay?! Are you hurt? Oh, I'm so sorry.", she said, rambling on as she rested her hand on the Galewing's dark pelt. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ Watching with horror as that stupid and clumsy female came into contact with the mountain's rocky surface, Montore thought nothing of the Galewing, only of Ingrid. He would never be able to live with himself if she got hurt, especially like this. Screeching at the female reptilian, his scales were fully standing on end with fear and anger. Swooping down into the clearing, his violet eyes stared at the creature's large, fallen figure, desperately searching for any sign of his human companion. "...Ingrid? Ingrid?!", he called, his short claws nervously scraping the ground as he paced back and forth. He was tempted to just search the beast for his best friend, but his worry of possibly hurting the teen held him back. Clicking his beak, he tensed as his bright eyes spotted the pale flesh of his human. Chest puffing out with a sense of joy, Montore bounded forward, his head pressing against her shoulder in a sign of affection. With a faint growl in his throat, he anxiously studied her skin for any injuries, knowing he would bring a never-ending lecture onto the Galewing. His scales ruffled ever so slightly as Ingrid pushed him away to check the dragon that had put her in so much danger. "Ingrid, no. Get back here!", he demanded, but he honestly didn't know why he even tried, knowing she wouldn't listen to him. Bringing a faint snarl to his throat, Montore shook himself with irritation, following the girl with his scales bristling and his chest held out. Approaching behind Ingrid, he narrowed his eyes at the careless female before him. "You stupid, stupid female. Do you know what you could've possibly done?!", he snarled, not going to let her live this down any time soon.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] {('CAUSE I DONT THINK)} that they'd understand Speech ThoughtsWords of other charrie(s) TAGGED;: Stormy/Open? Storm felt movement from under her wing. Her head lied on the ground, her eyes closed. She smelt blood, but had no strength to do anything. Her eyes opened weakly, seeing a black dart fall from the sky and land on the ground. She heard a squabble of words that she could barely make out with her ringing ears. A low moan escaped her throat.
She started to regain her hearing and her strength well enough to lift her head off the ground. Storm spotted the human, and nearby the Ambassador stood, in front of the girl. She felt warm hands press against her cold scales, along with a long babble of English. The girl was asking her if she was ok. She let out a reassuring groan, staring into the girls eyes.
A loud burst of words hit her eardrums, and Storms attention turned to the Ambassador, yelling and lecturing her. Rage boiled up in her chest, along with annoyance. Her head spun around, and she stared right at the Ambassador. With a loud roar, she pushed the dragon backwards with a huge gust of wind. "SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!" She screeched, after her blast of wind that escaped her mouth. She only pushed the dragon backwards, not much but just enough to shut him up.
She wrapped her neck in a circle around where Ingrid was kneeling, her eyes protective, but soft at the same time. Her tail wrapped around too, making a misshapen oval, her tail close to her maw. Storms wing still laid splayed on the ground, but her injured one on the other side was tightly pressed against her body. Her outside eye kept staring at the Ambassador, just in case of any attack.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)} the world to see me Turning faintly to snap at the Ambassador to stop yelling, she flinched at the Galewing suddenly let out a loud roar. Hands flying up to her head, she pressed them over her ears as she tightly closed her eyes, the sudden burst of sound hurting her ears. Yes, she was actually shaken up by the sudden outburst, but she stayed where she was. Hesitantly lowering her hands away from her ears, she opened her eyes to see Montore on his back, screeching and scrambling to get onto his feet. Eyes widening, she stood up on her knees as she spoke to him, "Monty! Are you okay?"
Ingrid didn't even dare to relax until she got his answer, having to wait a moment until it came. Biting her lip, the young viking slowly lowered herself back onto the ground. Looking down at the female reptilian, she was surprised to find that she had wrapped her neck around her, not having expected that. Hesitating for a moment, she gently brushed her fingers over the Galewing's muzzle, stroking her scales. "...I know he upset you, but...Please, don't hurt my friend.", she spoke softly in Dragonese, hoping she would understand. She didn't want her closest friend to be injured just because he was being over-protective. Glancing back at her friend, Ingrid quickly shook her head as she saw him try to stand once more, mouthing the word 'Don't' to him. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ He would've never have expected that. One moment he was standing in front of the idiotic female, and the next, he was being forced backwards. Screeching out with surprise, the Ambassador blindly swiped his claws out into the air, desperately attempting to grab onto something, even though he knew there was nothing there for him to grasp. Letting out a half choked roar, he tumbled onto the ground, being thrown onto his back. Screeching a bit more, he twisted and thrashed about as he tried to roll over, hissing as his side fell onto his splayed wing. Oh, that was it. He wasn't about to let this bratty female get away with this. Montore was a relatively calm creature, and it really didn't take something small to anger him. But, this; Oh, this was going to be something he would never drop. Snarling, the Ambassador attempted to scramble back onto his feet, ready to take Ingrid back for himself and to take her away from the beast. He stopped short of it, though, as his rider suddenly shook her head at him, giving him the look that he knew if he disobeyed, then it would take quite a while for her to forgive him for. Growling, quite displeased with all this, Montore kept himself at a distance, though her was itching to stand up to this Galewing. Storm growled, but replied in a soft tone to Ingrid. "Im sorry about that. It just ticked me off, crashing into a mountain and risking my life to protect you just to get yelled at by that mouthy black ball of wings and scales." She sighed, trying to stand up now.
She let out a wail of pain as something bumped her damaged wing. It felt like a lightning strike up her wing, and she collapsed back down on the ground. She had a smug look on her face, twisted with pain. Storm hated being injured.
Her eyes went back to the Ambassador, seeing it stand up and ready to fight. But his rider said don't and he sat down again. She grinned with pleasure, her eyes half open and her pain twisted face managed a smile. Her fins lied down against her back, showing that she was calm, but still alert. She may be injured, but she could still fight that little brat if he strikes first.
She knew if she was near Ingrid, he would fight her soon. And if she was in a bad mood, that dragon wouldn't be alive the next day. And if she was hungry also, it would be no body left afterwards. She chuckled to herself. Her face twisted again as a tree touched her wing again. This wound will take a lot longer than a sprain. She probably pulled something in her wing. Again.

{(AND I DON'T WANT)} the world to see me If anyone had asked, she would've been honest in saying that she wasn't exactly happy with that remark, and even a bit offended when the female Galewing insulted her best friend. However, Ingrid remained silent, feeling guilty about not standing up for her friend, but why risk angering the wild dragon even more? Yes, she may have appeared to take some kind of faint liking towards her, but there was no telling what she was really thinking. Nodding her head, the young viking lowered her eyes to the torn, moist ground, her fingers absentmindedly stroking the smooth surface of the reptilian's neck.
Dragging her eyes up after a few moments, she tensed as she saw the dark crimson line her hand had drawn on the scales. She had forgotten all about the gash in her hand, and she jerked her hand away as a few of the drops rolled down the once spotless, shimmering scales. Tightly closing her hand, wincing at the twinge of pain it created, Ingrid quickly tried to wipe the blood away with her sleeve. She didn't want to anger the great dragon by dirtying her, not knowing how her kind was with their appearance. They could be like the Deadly Nadder that was so famous for their constant preening and want to remain clean.
"I'm sorry..."
, she said quietly, using the creature's traditional language, hoping not to agitate her. Folding her arm behind her back, she hoped that the Galewing would pay little to no attention to her wounded hand, not wanting to be either a concern or a possible meal if the untamed beast's instincts suddenly came into play. That was always the risk with any animal, tamed or not. Even if they were your best friend, there was nothing that could stop them from the instincts that was born and breed into their mind and soul. Nervously looking up at the female's large, violet eyes, she hoped she had cleaned off most of the blood from her form. "...Y-Your wing is hurt.", she stated, attempting to drag the dragon's attention away from her and her wound and onto the female's own injury. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~ "...yelled at by that mouthy black ball of wings and scales." Upon hearing that, Montore stared at the female that had grabbed the attention of his rider, his scales puffing up at the insult. He really wasn't one to have too much pride over him and his appearance, and usually, he ignored snide or rude comments from others, but after the irritation this one had already brought onto him, it was hard not to become offended. He was greatly tempted to throw back some kind of insult to her as well, but the immaturity that it would no doubt reflect kept him from responding. Watching Ingrid, the Ambassador actually felt a faint twinge of jealousy at the attention the human was giving the Galewing. Faintly snorting, he unfurled his wings faintly, twisting his head from side to side as his forelegs impatiently stomped against the moist ground. "Ingrid...we should go. Your parents will be worried.", he said gently, trying to hopefully convince her to return with him. But, his real reason behind this was to merely return the love an affection the girl would always give him. It really wasn't usual for him to do this, but the female Galewing really brought out the worst in him and he hated it. He hated being so impatient and demanding of the girl he loved and cared for so dearly. It pained him and made him feel so guilty at the poisoning thoughts and emotions that coursed through his being. Pawing at the loose earth, Montore gave a small chirp-like noise, only wishing to grab the human's attention once more.
