Curtis walked along the dirt path with the two dragons and Luna trailing behind him. As usual Silvia was sniffing around and sticking her nose where it shouldn't be all the time, even in the forest. He turned off the normal dirt path and down a line of trees where the noise of the sea could be heard. He smiled and continued on, the noise of the movement along the forest floor was not very loud, quiet really. There was a good wind blowing south east, that was going to help them get to Red Rock quicker if they ride the currents of the wind. They should get there in about half the time it normally would take them which would be nice to do.
They stepped onto the sand outskirts of the beach that was backed by both the forest line on one side and the ocean on the other, it was like a large, straight prison that eventually ended for the sand. They walked to the edge of the beach against the water. Curtis smiled as he looked around the beach head and off into the great blue void. Slity stared at the ocean, it wasnt any problem for him. Silvia has gotten bigger, probably a quarter off Slitys hieght. She knows how to do the basics of flying, just none of the fancy movements in the air Slity is capable of.
Curtis rubbed his hand along Silvias side and he walked past her to Slity and patted his head. He looked up and over to Luna and smiled.
"You ready to get going?" He asked her.

[red]INTO THE VELVET SKY [/i][/size][/red][/center] Luna trailed behind Curtis as they walked through the waking forest. It was morning and they were taking another flight to Red Rock. Slity and Silvia scampered along behind. Curtis seemed to be in a good mood. He typically was when they were taking a trip to his homeland.
It had been three weeks since the battle. Her injuries were fading and though her mind hadn't seen much of a cease in torment, her disposition was becoming less gloomy.
Seeing that she had fallen behind a bit, she quickened her pace until she caught up. The four continued their journey through the woods until they reached the beach. The two dragons trotted up to walk nearer to their master in anticipation of takeoff. Luna watched their tails sway from one side to the other as they walked in front of her.
She looked at Curtis as his eyes scanned the horizon, looking over the early-morning sky. It was shaping up to be a gorgeous clear day. Very good for flying.
Luna stayed silent as Curtis paced over the sand for a few Moments and then stopped, looking back at her with a smile. She smiled back. He asked if she was ready to leave yet. She walked to his side. [red]"Whenever you are"[/red] she replied.
There was a moment of silence before Luna heard something from behind. Craning her neck, so looked over her shoulder in curiosity. What she saw made her think. [red]'Of course'[/red] with a small internal laugh. She gave a smile before glancing up at Curtis to see his reaction. [red]AND WE WILL STIR THE STARS AROUND [/i][/center][/size][/red] [orange]- - - - - - - - - - [/size][/orange][/center] |

Sven was feeling a lot better recently, and it was showing. Hermes had finally revoked her flying ban, so naturally Sven was eager to feel the winds once again. Mounted on the dark beast's back, it felt like second nature. They started off simple, so Sven could recuperate any lost experience. But that past very quickly, and they were back to performing daredevil tricks once again.
Hermes had just swooped up in the nick of time before she hit the pine forests. She maintained the speed she had gained from the dive, the rushing air through her scales making an eerie whistling noise. She levelled out, keeping speed without hardly any gesture from her wings. Hugging the canopy, she let Sven recuperate from the fall before doing anything else crazy. As tey flew on, the trees suddenly gave way to the ocean.
"Hey, was that Curtis and Luna?" Hermes said. Sven said nothing; he couldn't, over the force of the wind. But he shifted in his seat, but the view was blocked by Hermes' body. But the Ambassador dragon began to bank and return to the shore, now flapping her wings a little. She lowered her altitude and landed to the couple's side, billowing up drafts of dry sand.
Smiling, Sven dismounted and approached the duo to greet them.He noticed they were laden with supplies, mostly the dragons carrying the burden. "You four look all packed up and ready for a long trip! Where are you going?" He asked out of curiosity. According to maps he had seen, one didn't need this many supplies to travel from island to island.

Curtis heard the other voice. He turned his gaze over and saw Sven and his dragon standing there. Sven was curious about where they were heading off to, he didn't mind telling Sven.
"Far down south." He replied as he checked the supplies of Silvia's belly to make sure that they were hooked on properly. "To the mainland, a large city named Red Rock."[/color] He finished.
Silvia was starting to get a little giddy, her wings were spread all the way out as she flapped them abit, but not enough to get her off the ground yet Slity just watched with curiosity as Silvia moved about. He adjusted himself in his position and waiting for Luna and Curtis to get on his back.
Curtis walked over beside Luna and helped her up and onto Slitys back. once she was up alright he grabbed the top on Slitys back and hoisted himself up and onto Slitys back. He checked a few ropes that held the supplies that slity was carrying with them. Curtis just looked over to Sven and waited to see what he was going to say, he was an outsider so maybe Sven already knew about Red Rock. either was he was curious to see the reaction.

Sven nodded in acknowledgement to the reply, but the precision of the location wiped the cheerful look on his face, his expression turning serious.
"Did I hear you wrong, or did you say Red Rock?" He asked for confirmation. When he recieved it, his face showed utter disbelief. Red Rock. Red Rock.
It was Sven's hometown.
"Bloody hell! You come from Red Rock!?" He exclaimed. Sven knew the world, but didn't realise how small it was. "Me too!" He finally said. Hermes grunted behind him. "And Hermes too, sort of. Her HomeCave is there, anyway."
Sven was getting just as giddy as Silvia, the smaller of the two White Fears. The little dragon was getting a feel of the winds above, letting air under her vast pearly wings.
"Where abouts in Red Rock do you come from? I'm from the South-West region, near where the dragon's territories lie." Sven now had this goofy smile plastered on his face, happy to meet a fellow Red Rocker.
Sven turned to Hermes. "I guess you're not up for a trip are you? Homecave, sounds tempting huh?"
"Nope. Not really. I don't feel like budging from here just yet." Sven laughed at this.
"Just as I thought. As much as I'd like to visit home, we're staying here. You two have fun!"
Sven and Hermes stayed on the beach as the young couple made their leave from Berk. The winds were good - Sven didn't know how long Red Rock was from here, but it was close enough, and that made Sven happy, if not have a twinge of envy and guilt. It had been so long since he had seen his family...
Hermes cleared her throat. "Now, where were we?" She said, snapping Sven out of his delusions. He eagerly hopped onto Hermes' back, and once again they took to the skies, playing in the winds.

Curtis was both Suprised, and happy that Sven was from Red Rock. It was nice to know that someone else on this island was from Red rock and not just him; made him feel even more at home.
"Im in the North-western corner of Red Rock. Out in the feilds surrounded by the water." He replied for a moment. "And Slity and Silvia are both from Red Rock." He smiled as he patted Slitys neck.
He nodded his head to Sven as a reply as he took off to the skies again and off from their area. He looked back at Luna. "Well, Never thought id hear that from Sven." He said. "Anyways. Slity, Siliva take off."
Just before they did take off, Curtis made sure Luna was on and comfortable. As they took over the water, the two white dragons flew beside each other into the opposite of wind and rode along the currents. Silvia let off small noise clearly having fun already. Slity laughed abit in amusment when he heard Silvia.
"Well. Ill be honest, Silvia knows how to fly in endurence for a long period of time. So we dont need to worry about her getting tired much." He laughed a little, He rubbed his hand along the Slitys slick body. He smiled at Luna as he looked back at her for a moment then returned his gaze back to the skies ahead.

[white]AWAY INTO THE HUDSON BAY[/white][/center] [/b][/i][/size] After the Encounter with Sven, Slity took off. Luna held on to Curtis, wrapping her arms around her waist. She set her chin on her shoulder and closed her eyes, feeling the cool breeze on her face as the wind whipped through her red hair. She opened her eyes and saw little Silvia flying next to them. She looked down and saw that they were flyIng higher than normal, not by a lot though. She didn't say anything about it because she was fine.
They sped along for a while like that. It was smooth riding and fast progress. This was the third time Luna had made the trip, do she could Judge fairly well the time it would take. Curtis was focused on directing the dragon's Flight, so they didn't have much conversation.
She could tell they would be in Red Rock Very soon. They're speed picked up when Silvia flew ahead and Slity Playfully raced her. Luna took her arms from around Curtis and clasped them in her lap. She rested like that for a few minutes. The sun was on its way down, dipping into the lower regions of the western sky. She smiled, contentedly.
Her back was stiff from being bent and stationary for so long. She reached her arms up to stretch it out. It felt good, so she stretched farther, but that was when she lost her balance.
She felt her legs slip and her body topple. Her mind went crazy. Internally she was freaking out, her thoughts went a thousand miles an hour. Her limbs flailed as she dropped like a rock through the air. She was scared.
When she hit the water, she landed on her back. Her body slapped the surface like it was the solid ground. But instead of letting out a shriek, she Inhaled a mouthful of water. The salt burned her throat and mouth, but she was caught under the waves. She tumbled and Crashed around being tossed through the cold, rough water. She claw her way to the surface, but her clothes weighed her down. She panicked. For a moment, her head bobbed over the waves, she saw the white dragon Fading into the distance. She tried to scream, but instead she got a mouthful of water again and slipped under the crashing waves once again. She continued her attempts to tread the water which was hard with her back in pain and her muscles in shock from the cold, so after that, she only sank very slowly into the dark blue deep of the icy ocean. Cold, afraid, In pain, alone, vanishing with futile attempts to survive.

They flew along the skies smoothly. No problems at all aside from a few wind gust every now and then. Curtis felt the constant hold around him from Luna. He smiled constantly. He felt her arms let go around him and he didn't think much of it. Just that she finally decided she could let go and be brave and let go. he didn't feel Luna's grip anymore.
He smiled as they flew through the air into the distance. Closer to red rock they drew, it was nice to know they were getting their quickly and not slow. He looked around the sky as he looked over at Silvia,
"this is nice isn't it Luna." He waited and heard no response. He raised an eyebrow. "Luna?" he turned around and didn't see her there. "Jesus! sivlia, Slity turn back! And fly low to the water!"
It had already been quite a bit since he felt Luna's grip leave him. slity and Silvia both did quick U turns and speeded back above the waters surface. They kept going along the same path they came, Curtis watched closely at the water until he spotted somthing.
"Silvia go grab her." He yelled over to Silvia as she bolted towards the thing in the water, it ended up being Luna just floating there. Silvia reached in and grabbed Luna's arms before yanking her out of the water. Silvia flew back to Curtis and slity. "Just carry her!" He yelled to Silvia as they head back on the same course they came,
he was worried about Luna, she didn't seem awake. Probably knocked out. It was better if she was out so they could carry her without her worrying or freaking out. They were on their way to red rock.
Time passed and they finally arrived at Red Rock, it was starting to get dark and they came to Curtis home. Quickly he brought Luna in and up to his room. his mom came in and he explained what happened. They got Luna out of her wet clothing and into warmer clothing. They put the fire on in Curtis room. they laid Luna down under the cover of Curtis bed. Curtis slept on the floor with a blanket and fell asleep.

The floor was a little un comfortable for Curtis when he fell asleep. At least it was wood and not smooth stone like the bottom floor was. So that helped with it being just a little more comfortable for him. He had fallen asleep not long after they put Luna into his bed, he was atleast happy that she was ok and alive.
As the night went on, the moon and the stars started shining. The mid night rays of moonlight beamed into Curtis's room from the window behind the bed. It lit up the entire room just like the candles. The first was dying out, but it didnt matter because that was only to help luna get dry quickly. It wasn't too cold outside anyways.
Curtis felt something rubbing his hand, Along with the sweet voice he grew to Love. He slowly opened his eyes and say Luna looking down at him from his bed. He gave her a gentle smile as he looked into her Metalic eyes.
"Alright." He said as he grabbed the blanket and moved onto the bed quielty. He heard Luna ask if he could rub her back. "Yea. Just lay on your stomach." He replied as Luna did so laying onto her stomach with her back facing the ceiling.
Curtis adjusted himself on the bed and slowly, and gently started to rub Luna's back. He kept his hands light where her back hurt, and put a little more pressure on the areas where it didnt hurt for her. He massaged his hands all over her back, From the top near her shoulders, To both her sides, down to her lower back. He didnt miss a place.
"You know that scared me." He said gently as he continued to Massage. "I thought you just let go to be brave. I didn't know you had fallen off." He said again keeping a calm tone. "Though, be happy Silvia and Slity can fly fast or you might of basically frozen from being in the air too long." He said again, "But... Im happy your ok.. I love you."
Curtis leaned over, He brought his face to the side of Luna's and looked at her. He smiled like he always did around her.

Just gonna skip to morning half way through. Oh yea. And Luna gets to meet the Leader of Red Rock. XD))
Curtis felt his hand move up abit. He stopped them where they were and just kissed Luna for a moment more. He pulled away and slipped his hands out, he smiled at Luna when she did.
"I think we should get some sleep now." He said softly. He kissed her on her cheek. "Sleep tight." He said as he moved and layed down on the free space of the bed. It didn't take long before he was out like a light, or.. candle in this case, possibly.
As dusk turned to dawn, The sun started to shine over the town. Curtis woke up when the light hit his face. He moved a little then opened his eyes. He sat up and looked around the room for a second before looking at Luna. He gently pushed her shoulder.
"Wake up Luna." He said as he started to fully wake up.
He slipped out of bed and looked outside his window. He could see Slity and Silvia rolled up in the hay out in the stable sleeping, Then there was reaper sleep by himself in another pile of hay. He smiled and walked over to his bedroom door and opened it.
"Your clothes are dry, there infront of the fire. Ill let you change into them. Just come down when you can." He said as he walked out and shut the door for Luna.
Curtis started walking down the stairs when he heard two voices, two wemon. One was his mom, but the other one he had heard before. Not too much, but still heard it before. He continued down the stairs and walked into the kitchen where he saw his Mom and another women. Dark brown hair, probably about Five foot, ten. Pretty expensive clothing, or atleast it looked like it.
"Um. Morning Mom.. And you are?" He asked questionaly to the other woman. The woman stood up and smiled.
"You must be Curtis." She bowed abit. "Im Averia Iovia."
Something clicked into Curtis' mind. He bowed back and smiled. "Nice to meet you Duchess Averia." The woman was Averia, the current leader of Red Rock. He was curious on why she was in his home. "So, If you dont mind me asking. What are you doing here?"
She straightend her cloths out. "Well, I was originally talking to your father about the recent disturbances in the mountians. Then we finished and me and your mother got talking."
"Distubances? Like what? Wild dragons causing a little bit of trouble again?" He asked curously.
"No. More like a group of people we have no idea about, Searching around the C-" She stopped. " Right you have already been there, The Cavern entrance." She again stoped. "Plus I also wanted to talk about your travels to the north, we have no charted islands up there and want to ask you about it."
Curtis could remember that. Him and Adkynn went there a couple years ago when they were exploring in the mountians. They stummbled upon it, its suppose to be a secret to those of importance in Red Rock. But they allowed curtis and Adkynn to know the rest about it when they had found it.
"Ah." All he said when he turned around and saw Luna. He smiled. "Luna. Meet the Duchess of Red Rock. Averia Iovia"

[white]CAN BE SO AWEFULLY DULL[/white][/center] [/b][/i][/size] Luna awoke that morning when she felt a gentle push on her shoulder. She opened her eyes and smiled sleepily. [red]"Good morning, Love"[/red] she said, seeing Curtis. He crawled out of the bed and told her where her clothes were before going away. [red]"Uhm okay, bye?"[/red] she said after him. He was acting weird. Perhaps it was just her, but he had seemed distant lately.
She soon got up herself and dressed. She guessed the reason Curtis had rushed downstairs this morning without even so much as a greeting was to see his parents. She wished she had parents that she was eager the see and speak to. She stood by herself in the middle of the room. It was a strange feeling to know that she was standing in the room that her Curtis had grown up in. She wondered what he had been like as a child. Looking around his room, it seemed like his childhood had been pretty good. She wished she had grown up in the kind of place that she could take Curtis to.
Eventually, it got boring being in there alone, she was starting to feel drawn back to him. It made her want to fly down the stairs and sprint to him and wrap him in a hug. But he was probably with his parents and he always seemed more serious around them. He might not like if she did that. So she quietly opened the door and stepped out the went down the stairs. She saw his across the room with his mother and a woman in dressy clothing.
She walked up silently behind Curtis and stood there for a few moments waiting to be noticed. She gave a polite smile when addressed and said to the Duchess [red]"Pleased to meet you"[/red]

Averia looked at Luna and raised an eyebrow. "Where are you from dear? You seem of.. Viking descent if Im not mistaken." She said looking at Luna, Her hands behind her back casually. She would have a warm smile on her face that would give the effect that you could trust her with pretty much anything. Just like curtis' mother, Averia's hair was let down. Along with every other womens hair in Red Rock.
Curtis looked over to Luna. "Im just going to go wake Slity and Silvia up. Ill be back in, in a minute." He smiled at her and walked out the door nearby and into the backyard. He walked over to Slity and rubbed his head.
'Wake up bud." He said as he looked over to Silvia. "You too." He said looking over at Reaper who was fast asleep. Slity opened his eyes and looked up at Curtis for a moment. He nudged Silvia with his back foot and she woke up aswell. Slity stood up and Silvia followed as they both stretched like cats that woke up from a long cat nap. Curtis smiled and walked over to a small shed and took out a basket of fish, he put it out for Silvia and Slity to start eating from.
Curtis walked back into the room and looked around abit before walking over and standing beside Luna.

[white]OF NEW YORK SHOPPING MALLS[/white][/center] [/b][/i][/size] Luna's attention turned to the Duchess when she was asked a question. In reply Luna answered politely, [red]"Yes, I am a Viking. I live in the village on the Isle of Berk. I'm the dragon healer there. It's where I met Curtis, who you seem to be acquainted with."[/red]
Curtis looked over and spoke to her, saying that he was going to go awake his dragons. Luna hadn't realized that Slity and Silvia were still sleeping. She nodded to him smiling [red]"okay, I'll see you in a minute"[/red] then he turned and went off. Her eyes followed Curtis for a moment as he walked over to the door, unlatched it, and let himself out.
Luna was quiet as The kindly Red Rocker Duchess and Curtis' mother had a conversation. What they were speaking about didn't interest or moreover include or concern her, so she had no need to speak. She wasn't offended. In fact, she felt rather intrusive and uncomfortable, especially without Curtis there. She didn't know his parents or the household very well so being there alone was slightly awkward and uncomfortable. She anxiously awaited his return.
While still in wait, she observed the room and wondered what Curtis wanted to do today. Whatever it was, she would most likely also do. And she didn't mind, just about anything here had certain potential to be interesting, especially since Luna had only seen very small portions of the mainland town, and going places here with Curtis was nice because he knew how to get everywhere. She just hoped, since it seemed like they would be flying, that he wouldn't have her sit on the back. Yesterday had given her quite a scare, and she would rather be somewhere where Curtis could always see her, since he was ultimately the one steering.
Luna heard the door being unlatched and looked back to see Curtis standing behind her. She turned around and asked him softly [red]"Are we going somewhere?"[/red]

Curtis lightly gripped Luna's hand and nodded. He walks to the front door with her and opens the door walking out. A breeze would sweep by them as they start down the dirt path towards the town. In the distance afew dragons could be seen over above the fields flying around and playing with eachother. On the fields below, farmers would be tending to their crops or livestock go make sure there in good condition. Curtis looked over at the coast and saw a few ships heading off for their journey to known lands, others returning home from a long journey.
Curtis kept his light grip arouNd Luna's hand, he smiled as he did so and kept walking down the dirt path. A couple horses looked up at the two of them and whinnied as they past. Curtis smiled and kept walking into the town. As they started past the first few buildings, a guard looked over at them for a moment before looking away. Possibly looking for any kinds if threats.
"So where do you want to go first, red rock has just about anything you can probably think of." Curtis said as he stopped Infront of a store on the sidewalk and looked a Luna,

[white]'CUZ I WOULD MAKE A HOOK[/white][/center] [/b][/i][/size] Luna smiled as Curtis took her hand and led her out the door. They began walking along a dirt road. Soon she realized that Contrary to what she had previously believed, it seemed they would not be flying to their destination today. She was perfectly happy with that. She was still a little shook up over what had occurred on the day prior, and quite understandably, he might be as well.
He cradled her hand in his as they went along. She looked up and saw him smiling and felt warm inside. They walked past fields where crops grew and farmers harvested amd others where sheep and cows grazed and out by the not-so-distant sea, she saw ships coming in and out of the port. Ahead, she saw dragons soaring in the blue, cloudless sky and not far beyond that, a more densely populated town emerged in the landscape. They would soon arrive there if they continued on this route. And they soon did.
As they entered the town, she looked about eagerly, She was curious about the place. She saw many people mulling about their business and guards standing at their posts. Some Children ran about and Merchants crowded the streets with their carts full of goods.
Curtis led her along for a short way before stopping. He turned and spoke to her, asking what she'd like to do. Her tone was playful as she said [red]" 'Just about anything I can probably think of' seems like a lot for two people on one day."[/red] Then more seriously she continued [red]"Let's just walk and see where we end up. I like just walking"[/red] she smiled and began again to trod along. Her hand intertwined more tightly with his as they delved into the crowd. She stayed close to him and tried to avoid being jostled about, which, in truth, wasn't too terribly difficult. It was only that the volume of people exceeded what she had gotten accustomed to on Berk.
Luna's eyes darted around the place, looking at what merchants and sellers had for sale- pots and pans, breads, flowers, cloth, fruits, shoes, baskets and much more. They went a long for a few minutes like this and Luna realized she had no idea where she was or where she was going. She looked up smiling at Curtis and laughed. she had to raise her voice slightly to be heard about the ambient hustle and bustle [red]"Do you have any idea where we are?"[/red] she asked curiously. [red][/red]
