Goch [Gouhch] Wildfyre
ORIGINS
446 years old :: The mountains of Berk
Age 0 - 50 years
Age 50 - 100 years
Age 100 to 150 years
He had been peacefully sleeping in the depth of the cave, when he heard the whelps of the group - presumably gasping at the sight of the huge skeleton. He roused himself and puffed up his figure, spreading out his gigantic wings to an imposing size, waiting for when they rounded the corner.
He had hoped they would take in his size, the fire drooling from his mouth and the earlier atmosphere and turn tail to run, but what he had not expected was the battle cries as they ran toward him. He was at a disadvantage. If he had been out in the open, he could have easily maimed all fifteen of them, but in these close quarters he had nowhere to dodge their spears. He managed to hold off half of them, but the scratches and tears to his flesh and wings slowly weakened him. He was at his lowest point when a monstrous roar startled them all. His mother had arrived, and a battle broke out between them all. They managed to drive back the Vikings but not without any loss. His mother had been severely wounded, and he scarred across his right eye - losing sight in it. He could only lie with her and she quickly lost consciousness, and eventually died. He cursed humans and all those associated with them.
Age 150 to 250 years
In his years to becoming an adult, he continued to watch humans from afar, learning of them and their lives, their language and their customs. Surprisingly, even sought out revenge for what had happened. He kept his distance, learning things from afar. He noticed that they had changed since his last encounter with them - they had started to warm to dragons, and as the years went by, dragons had even become their pets of a sort, allowing the humans to ride upon their backs. He could only reel at the idea and vehemently jabbed at any tame dragons that passed his way.
Age 250 years to now
He continued to mope in the lair that now held two dragon skeletons, for over fifty years - until a lone boy challenged himself to climb the mountain to his cave. He had done it not for the glory of capturing the mighty dragon - but to prove to himself he could get to the opening in the mountain.
Goch had now grown even larger than than the first skeleton, and the cave was proving to be a lot more 'cosy' than before. He had just about to leave when the boy - no older than eleven - scrambled to the ledge of his cave exhausted. He had rolled onto his back to catch his breath when Goch decided to investigate. He stood, towering over the boy in the larger opening, and spread his wings, waiting till the boy opened his eyes and practically jumped out of his skin. He scuffled to a crouched position, ready to flee.
He drooled his fire, letting the boy watch as the flames hit the cave floor creating little trails of steam. It wasn't until the boy realised that Goch wasn't going to attack did he finally stand straight and start talking to him. Goch was a little taken back but after a small flurry of compliments and openly honest questions that he to started interacting back. And so started a strange but intriguing conversation between the boy and the dragon. He found out he was too young yet to tame dragons, but if he ever did get to do it, he'd want someone like Goch. The humbled dragon had changed his views - if only ever so slightly - and decided it was time to leave his home, to see what else humans could do.

Generally open with his emotions, Goch doesn't really seem to hide anything when it comes to those. He is easy enough to read, and his emotions, whether positive or negative, aren't hard to miss – Goch doesn't hold back when it comes to showing the positive ones and is quick to have a smile ready, but he also doesn't hold back when something happens to cause genuinely negative emotions to take over. And when that does happen, he can lose his temper, becoming upset or angry and roaring or even lashing out violently. In a fight, if he gets annoyed, he has a tendency to smile or grin nonetheless and throw taunts – if it's a far more serious situation, however, he may simply be angry.
Goch is very energetic, likes to talk sarcastically and make witty remarks, and is a sadistic, fierce, animalistic fighter. He is quite violent and impulsive.
The most prevalent characteristics that resonate, both internally and externally, is his relentless and tenacious determination. He does not give up at anything. He follows his convictions until their end. Goch does not know how to give in, fold, or succumb to defeat. His intelligence is also, not surprisingly, far above average.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
As with most Western dragons, Goch stands on four bulky legs, and can fly with his leathery wings and muscular tail. He stands at 14 feet from the shoulder, and imposes an intimidating full height of 30 feet. His wingspan is even more impressive, to accommodate his large body in flight, topping 180 feet wing tip to wing tip.[/td][/tr]
His body is made up of tough red scales, while his underside is covered by golden yellow plates. He bears two eight foot long horns atop his head, just behind his eyes, and a collection of smaller red ones along his cheek and jaw. A trail of what looks like fiery orange fins along his spine, but if you were to be honoured enough to feel them, you'd notice they are a solid form of spines, razor sharp to the touch.
His wings are very similar to bats', with long 'fingers' running through at intervals with one 'thumb' at each hand acting as a claw. Both wings are tipped brown with a few spots dotted along the border of colours.
On the right side of his face he bears three scars - a long vertical one across his eye, a much smaller one across the tear duct area, and another larger one across the edge of his mouth. The scarred eye is fully white with blindness, whereas his untouched eye is a brilliant golden colour. He also has three parallel scars - a claw mark - across his right thigh.

FIGHT TO THE DEATH
[tr][atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,207]
ABILITIES:
▪ FIRE BREATHING :: He is able to breath a scarlet fire, that has lashings of white within it. He breathes it as a thin but liquid-like stream - almost like a water hose of fire. He also has a nasty habit of 'drooling' his fire - mainly just for a visual effect to scare away smaller dragons and adventurous Viking teenagers.
▪ FLYING :: Because of his heavy frame, Goch isn't the quickest to take off into the air, however, its also because of this weight that once he has gained momentum, he is quite the aerial ace, essentially becoming a flying tank.
