As any good writers will know, originality is what makes your character special and unique. As we all strive for this streak of originality, there are some things that seem to crop up often than others, and sometimes the more basic, unoriginal ideas instead become the more original choices. This thread is thus designed to point out, in character creation, the most frequent things that have appeared in character creation, and what sort of things you should think about limiting when building your character. Here is a list of things over-used so far in our characters, and from now on we will only accept them if there is a very good reason to, that makes it 'original': Over-Done:Parent's getting killed off one way or another before the current time. Archers Loners Custom-made dragons being ~super rare~ or "the last one of their kind". Lone baby dragons adopted by a different mother dragon of ferocious species. Fishing Accidents. Mauled/Disfigured faces on dragons [/ul] Underused:Vikingy-vikings Common Canon Dragons Hysterians and anti-dragons Bullies Characters in their 20+'s Outcasts Generally Evil guys [/ul] If you think anything else is overused/underused, feel free to make a post below ^_^
