Curtis looked at ari for a moment. "How much do I know about her past? and what or who is Ashaere?" Curtis had never heardovf aching by that name, he didn't even hear that word until Ari said it. slity stood behind him and looked at Luna for a moment before looking at Curtis. Curtis returned Slitys look but then looked back at Ari. "This is what I know." He looked around seeing no one but them. "I know that Luna is apart of the hystarians chief family, I believe that she was going to be next in line." He paused for a moment. He had run it through his head but after seeing this attack it was kinda hard to believe that Luna would of be the leader of those people if she was put up as leader. Even to Curtis Luna didn't seem like the type of person to be in charge of an island, especially one that kills dragons on sight for Unkowen reasons to him.
Curtis shook his head from the thought and continued with what he was saying before. "I know about the mark, her fleeing, her finding her dragons. Coming here." He stopped again, after seeing the hystarians he wasn't surprised that Luna decided to leave the island and go somewhere else instead. "She didn't speak of her family too much. Really only of the island if we talked about hysteria, which was rarely any time." He finished and looked at ari. "But I'm still wondering what Ashaere is or who it is." He was quite curious on this topic now after telling Ari what he knew. Maybe there was something that Luna hadn't been telling him..

After a moment Ari told Sven to leave, wishing to speak with Curtis alone. Sven nodded understanding. Sven could only too well relate to how Curtis must be feeling, and left the tent, back into the dreary weather.
Hermes was waiting outside, expectantly like an obedient hound. She made a motion with her head, as if to say 'well?' Sven shrugged in response as the water falling from the sky flattened his yellow mane once more.
"She's going to be okay, that I'm sure of. But... that mark was definitely strange." Sven mused. He looked up at Hermes all of a sudden, snapping out of his train of thought. "Why aren't you collecting more people?"
"The battle's over. Didn't you hear? There was a horn blow and suddenly everyone began retreating..."
"Oh..." Said Sven quietly, frowning. He felt his stomach cringe at the moment he thought might have caused him not to hear the horn blow. "I was taking the eye out of one of the most rowdy Viking I've met so far on this island." Sven winced at the memory. He would not forget that soon.
Hermes' face wasn't amused. "How much else have you missed? You know Luna's dragon's dead, right?" With that, Sven's eyes widened. Hermes took him to where the dead were lined up further back. There were definitely more Vikings than dragons. Hermes showed Sven the little dead body that was once so full of life. Sven said nothing, turning away. He'd seen enough.
With everyone that needed tending to being taken care of, Sven found himself with little to do. He hadn't got over the abrupt ending of the war, so he was still bottling his overwhelming emotions. Hermes, seeing him in his numb state, nudged him and suggested they search the battlefield for anyone still alive. Sven agreed, and they left the medical camp together.

He contuned on his work as Curtis told him everything. He didn’t interject in each pause since he knew Curtis hadn’t finished in each one. He smiled when he asked about the name for the second time. ‘What’. He loved that ‘what’. “Ashaere is a name, one held by the wife of the current leader of Hysteria…and probably the name of their daughter. Whether it is or not, the one thing I do know is that Luna isn’t a name that either her parents would give.” “I’ve done all I can for now,” Ari said, “I’ll have to look after her for a few days to make sure she heals alright, but she’ll live. When you can move her to my house, I’ve still got to help out here for a while. Normally I’d have patients stay at their houses, but I can’t do that now, can it.” Curtis looked at him in confusion, and Ari realised he didn’t know, “Her house was burnt down during the battle; it seems some Hysterian spies slipped through and tried to raze the village. It seems Luna’s house was the only one that got hit though…but it was hit badly.” He started to walk out, “Tell her that she can trust me to keep her secret, she’s proven herself to be a member of this village and she’ll be save here…Oh and Sven saw the mark too. I’m sure he won’t tell anyone, but you should probably talk to him to make sure he’s in tune with you two. I won’t tell anyone anything unless you want me to.” And with that, Ari left to work on the others. He sighed slightly and smiled. He had what he needed. Her secret. For years he’d wanted what it was and now he had it…and now he had to make sure that the secret was kept as localised as possible. That was why he was being so helpful, he wouldn’t blab now, he wouldn’t blab full stop. If everyone found out now, there wasn’t enough one way or the other for him to know what would happen. Right now she was more like to be kept if the secret got out, everyone trusted her. But, if he played the game right, used his pieces well, he could get trap the king that was Luna. But he needed time, and he had it. He had all the time in the world to take get rid of her, for now…he needed to help her to get better. (He's a board game player btw...although it isn't chess he plays )

Curtis watched as ari walked away from him. He walked back into the tent and took a chair and sat down beside Luna. She didn't look as bad as she probably was at first. Well, Ari did a good job fixing Luna up.
He took Luna's hand gently and rubbed it against his hand. He felt abit guilty that he wasn't there to protect her, But he never knew that something like this would happen to her. He looked at her face for a moment before turning his gaze to the bracelet around her wrist. He smiled because it was a happy thought that went through his head. He was happy that Luna was still alive and for the most part in a pretty decent state. she wasn't on the verge of dieing and nothing too bad seemed to set in.
Slity walked over and sat down beside Curtis and nudged him giving him a look as if asking if Luna will be alright. Curtis smiled and nodded his head looking at his friend. Curtis was glad that the war was over and the hystarians were leaving now. he knew that Luna would have a difficult time With her dragon dieing and her home burning down. He mwould much rather Luna stay with him over the time she heals and gets a new home,
Curtis looked at luna as he watched her eyes open just slightly. "Luna?"

For a long time, Luna felt no pain. She was alone in darkness with no company besides the dull, constant beating of her heart. It was actually rather frightening, sitting on the edge of death like that and staring fate in the eyes. She didn't know where she was or what was happening, if she was dead or alive or if this was how she was to spend eternity. There was no emotion, nothing to see, touch, smell, taste, feel, imagine, or even anything to think about. It was solitude.
But slowly Luna became aware of a pain. An ambiant pain, not just physical but emotional and mental. And it was everywhere. It seemed to hang in the air And continually wash it's effect over her. And slowly she became aware of her body and her own presence and spirit, all soaked and covered in the ambient pain.
Then she began to hear and smell things and it wasn't soon after that when she started to have a thought process again and her consciousness returned. For a while she simply laid there with her eyes closed. She heard hustle and bustle in the distance and she smelled medicines and herbs and a tinge of blood. She was laying rather awkwardly, on her left side. It took a moment of thinking to recal the things that had taken place as her mind defrosted.
She wondered where she was. Luna was rather frightened at the prospect of opening her eyes. Had she passed into the afterlife?
She stopped for a moment. She sensed another human. They had her hand and they were holding it gently and caressing it with their own. She cautiously opened her eyes, curious to see who it was that was touching her.
Her eyes were met with a familiar pair of the most beautiful blue eyes ever. He spoke her name At the sound Luna's lips moved into a weak smile.
[red]"Curtis..."[/red]
she whispered his name back to him. Her fingers curled around his as she breathed deeply. Her eyes closed gently for a moment before opening them again.
[red]"Did... Did you die too?"[/red]
She looked around a moment and realized that she was still on Berk... Alive. How had she survived?! How was that possible?
[red]"I'm alive..."[/red]
Luna looked down at herself. She was covered in bandages, they were wrapped all the way around her midsection. A few drops on blood had seeped into the cloth. There was one tied rightly around her ankle, which was undoubtably sprained. Everything hurt.
[red]"Curtis... I'm cold"[/red]
She mumbled to her lover. Whoever had been working on healing her hadn't bothered to get her a new shirt to replace the tattered bloody one on her body. Now she was chilly and hopefully there was a blanket or something around that he could fetch for her. He started to move away to do so, but Luna held on to his hand for a moment and he glanced back at her and she whispered to him as a tear rolled down her cheek
[red]"I love you, Curtis"[/red]

Curtis listened to Luna talk softly. He knew it was probabably tough for her to talk right now. Probably not a lot but still abit due to the fact she looked like she was pain. Curtis kissed Luna's cheek, a tear seaped from his eye and he smiles at Luna.
"i love you too... And I'm glad your alive.."
He looked around and tapped Slitys head before pointing to the blankets on a small wooden table inside of the table. He gestured with his free hand for slity to get it for him.
"Your still alive dont worry heh. Don't move too much you might hurt yourself more."
Slity got up and walked over to the blankets get grabbed them with his mouth and pulled them off the table. He walked back over you Curtis and put them in his lap, slity laid back down and watched the two humans do what they need to.
Curtis smiled at slity and thanked his scaley white friend. He freed his hand from Luna's and took the blankets straightening them out.
"Don't worry let me just put this over you."
He took the blankets and layed them over Luna. He looked at the wound areas a little more and gently tucked the blankets to Luna to keep her warm. He was amazingly happy that Luna was alive, he wouldn't be able to think or do anything if she had died on him. He sat down and took her hand again.
"How do you feel Luna."
Curtis rubbed Luna's hand gently taking her mind off and pain she might have hopefully. He looked into her metallic eyes.

Luna looked at Curtis for a moment while she thought about how to answer his question. The blanket had taken the edge off her chill, but she was still in pain. But that seemed apparent, so she wasn't sure how to reply.
[red]"Well... Everything hurts, I'm tired. I'm surprised that I'm even alive, I thought I was already dead..."[/red]
She took a deep breath and stared up at the roof of the tent that contained her. It was hard to believe that she had survived. There had been... So much blood. And Baldr! She didn't know what to think of him. Had he really cared for her? How could he be the same as her? There were way to many questions with no one to answer them.
His fingers seemed restless as they ran over her cold hand. She held them still and looked into his eyes and frowned. There was something wrong.
Luna ignored the pain as she moved herself slowly and feeblly and set her head in his lap. She kissed the rough hand who's fingers intertwined with her own. Her silvery eyes locked with his as she mumbled a question to him.
[red]"What happened, Love? What's wrong?"[/red]

Curtis rubbed the top of her head with his hand gently, her hair was somewhat rough with the condition she was in but it still gave him that same caring feeling towards him by her. Curtis looked down into her eyes, her metallic, silver eyes looking back at his own. He gave a soft smile to Luna.
"Nothing's wrong Luna." He looked around for a moment before returning his gaze back to Luna. He leaned over abit and kissed her forehead. "There's just something I want to know,"
Curtis paused for a moment looking at Luna, he felt the noon sun soon to creep out of hiding from it place.
"Why did you cover up your real name?" He raised an eyebrow to her. "All I can think of is because you didn't want anyone to know your real name due to the fact your a run away from hysteria." He said.
Curtis looked over at slity, Slity walked over cautiously and licked Luna's hand abit and let off a small rumble from his body. He didn't seem concerned anymore just abit curious on what's going on. Curtis patted Slitys head and smiled at him.
"Don't rush yourself we have awhile, I'm just curious why so don't stress." He said gently towards Luna looking at her.

Curtis smiled down at her and Luna managed a slight turn of the lips back. For some reason, smiling was hard, not so much physically as mentally. As she felt his fingers run through her tousled hair, it was very comforting. Her drowsy eyelids were heavy, and Luna decided to indulge their desire to rest for a bit. Though she wasnt asleep.
As she lay there peacefully, she heard the sound of Curtis' quiet voice, he must have been able to tell she wasnt sleeping. But when she heard what he said her eyes snapped open. She stared up at him in an almost alarmed fashion. Her Hysterian name... her birth name. How did he know? She had never told him.
Slity trotted over from his distance and interrupted Luna's stream of thoughts with a lick to her hand. She glanced over at the white dragon who's massive head was lowered to hers. She patted his nose is greeting.
She returned her gaze as well as her thoughts once again to her beloved and the task at hand. She let out a shuddery sigh, unsure of how to reply to his question. He had told her not to stress... but that was easier said than done. the only reason she had'nt told him was for his own safety. If he knew too much about her it might be dangerous, not to mention the risk it put her in as well.
It also frightened her that someone besides him knew, she would never entrust this kind of information to anyone besides him. No one in this world was as close to her as him, and he was the only one she really trusted.
In an intimidated voice she replied.
[red]"I never told you to keep you safe! It isn't your burden to bear. But how did you find out?Who...who told you?!"[/red]

Once Ari had left the tent, stayed outside it listened to what they were saying, standing guard in front, mainly so he could listen in.
He didn’t hear anything of importance really, he knew he’d get no new information. She’d be too out of it for anything like that and he was sure he could find out stuff like that later from her in the comfort of his house. He just wanted to know how the convo was going to go.
The first question that was asked was the one that he expected. Why didn’t you tell me your real name? Curtis was so caring he made it clear that it didn’t matter. And the truth was it didn’t, not really. He just wondered if he would be able to use it to his advantage later.
When Luna dinally awnsered, he smiled and knew what to do.
"I never told you to keep you safe! It isn't your burden to bear. But how did you find out?Who...who told you?!"[/color]
“I told him,” I said, reentering the tent, “I was trying to find out how much he knew.” I smiled at her comfortingly, “I knew that the heir would be using a allias, and I knew the basicly ages and logistics of their disappearance. I’d actually assumed it was Sven or Curtis if it was anyone. I didn’t think they’d make such a fuss over someone like you. I don’t mean offence,” Lie, “but you’re not what they’d want for leader and you know. The only reason I found out you were this is because…well.” he pointed at his hip. “Speaking of which, Sven saw it too. while I don't think He'll say anything, you should talk to him about it. I will leave the questions for you until your better, I just want to know one thing. Who did you meet? Who killed your dragon?”

Curtis heard the words be spoken behind him. He stayed where he was continuing to rub lunas head gently not disturbing here. Curtis listened to everything Ari had to say towards Luna but he didnt interfer with anything by talking he just sat there quietly.
Slity looked at ari as he entered. He simply moved to one side of the tent and layed down closing his eyes. His ears layed back against his head and he just rested there. Curtis wished he could do the same thing, the war was a little bit un easing but it was better to know that the war is over basically and that Hes with luna and that she is safe and sound.

Despite the bits of worry Luna had been in over Curtis's discovery of her birth name, she did not appreciate the Isle healer barging in on the quiet moments with Curtis. Ari had barged right in on the rather peaceful scene and decided to answer Luna's question for Curtis and needless to say, was fortified at his answer.
Her heart pounded against her chest and her eyes grew wide as saucers. She felt Curtis continue to soothingly caress his fingers through her hair. Luna grabbed the hand that wasn't doing so and held it between her own two palms, accomplishing nothing more than making herself feel safer.
She was silent as Ari went on, unable to form any kind of retort or even a few simple words for that matter. All she managed to do was lay there in the shadow of her lover as the healer spoke.
Luna gasped as Ari motioned to his hip and it sunk in that he had seen it. Her branding. The thing she had struggled to keep a secret for so long... everything... Exposed and in his hands. Sven?! Sven had seen it too...she wondered how much he knew.
She found herself, tears trickling down her face, shaking her head and begging to Ari as he continued to ramble on
[red]"Don't tell anyone! Ari... please don't tell anyone!"[/red]
Curtis just sat there. Facial expression unchanged, not speaking, only moving his hand as it ran gently over her head. She looked up at him desperately, but she realized there was nothing he could do.
And then Ari asked her who had done this to her, who had killed Snatcher. The pleas she had been mumbling through the quiet sobs were silenced. She bit her lip and stared ruefully at him and spoke as forcefully as she could in her fragile state.
[red]"That's none of your business, ARI!"[/red]
Luna wondered to herself if she had cheated fate in addition to death through her survival. Why did destiny hate her enough to have her live only to be thrust into a life worse Off than it had been. Why Was was she alive?

“I’m sorry,” Ari said, he wasn’t but he knew he had to be, he should have left this till later, “I just wanted to know if it was Baldr or not.” He’d pushed too hard he should have left them alone…well, better salvage any trust I can, “And of course I won’t tell anyone, why should I? I know, just from knowing who why you left Hysteria, and me telling people will make your life so much more difficult. The only person who probably has a right to know…”
He paused, thinking of Asther, he remembered how she’d looked after talking to Baldr, at the time he’d assumed it was the slight about the hearing, but now…He smiled, “the only person who has a right to know has known for the past two days. Baldr basically told us it was you, she got it and none of us did. But I think she’s proving what I’m going to say now, neither of us are going to tell anyone, and I’m pretty sure neither will Sven. Get some rest now. I’ll leave you for now, I’ll come back later to check on the wound.” He smiled nicely, then left the tent for real this time.
I’m getting slow, he thought, no, I’d already got the idea of Luna as a spy so I jumped to different conclusions, which to be fair fitted just as perfectly. He hoped he could get Luna to trust, he could tell him going in had been a bad move…then at least he’d told her so Luna could hear straight from him that he wouldn’t tell. She had now got two other people to worry about though, Asther and Sven.
(I’m think I’ll just leave the tread to you two, Ari’s not going to turn up again. I think you should mention soon about the house, I would have, but Ari wouldn’t have been that much of Meany to have said it [he is such a Meany, but he wouldn’t have acted as such], and try to make sure Luna will end up going to Ari’s house. He will not walk all the way to your house just for one person.)

Curtis listened through the entire talk. Once ari left Curtis looked at Luna. He knew about Luna's home being burned down, he knew that Luna probably didn't know that though.
"You've lost everything." Curtis said in a solid tone. "Your dragon, your secrets, and I'll be honest Luna, your house."
Curtis' facial expression changed abit to a more concerned look. He was concerned, concerned about how Luna was going to be able to handle all of this. He knew how she was with handling things. He took the sleeve of his shirt and wiped away the stray tears running down her cheek. He took his hand away and looked at Luna.
"Before you say anything let me say something. After your done staying with Ari, you can live with me until we re build your house alright? You know I have no problem with any of that, as long as nothing bad happened to you."
Curtis continued to rub his hand through Luna's hair gently awaiting to see her reaction. Slitys eyes were open looking at the two, clearly he wanted to know what they were doing. Slity always wanted to know what people were during all the time.
(( Lol. There's another rp idea, for them to rebuild Luna's house xD )

Everything?Everything?! Gone...
She didn't know what to think or how to behave. It was just too much.
Her secrets were out. People she didn't want having possession of this knowledge had found themselves in possession of it. From the way Ari spoke of it, this "she" whom apparently also knew of her past and secrets was Asther. She let out a shuddery sigh as it sank it. What was to become of Luna now?
Her dragons were gone. One dead, the other unaccounted for. She couldn't help but feel that both were fer fault. And now she had to reap the consequences which unfortunately had fallen more heavily on Snatcher's shoulders than on anyone else.
Her house was gone?! How was that possible? Her mind wandered to the news that had come earilier. She recalled hearing news earlier of a house that had burned down just as the war had begun. Luna realized then that it was her home which had been burned. She devastated. All her worldly possetions lost to the flame.
She could feel Curtis' fingers as they continued to run repeatedly over her still wet scalp. For a few moments she was shocked into silence. Everything gone. it almost refused to sink in, and the fact that it had all been torn forcefully from her in the process of a few hours was frightening. It didn't ever occur to her that such mass destruction could come to pass on her life in such a short time.
In that moment she burst into an almost silent fit of sobs. Too shocked for loud sobs, all that escaped her lips a wimper when she could manage even that. It was just tears, an ocean of salty drops poured down her face in unison. the She had tried to hold the tears in, she had tried to be brave but it was just so impossible. Why did she have to be so weak? Why did all odds have to be set against her? Nothing in this world was fair, NOTHING. Some people believe that each perosn on earth gets their fair share of bad luck, of sorrow and of misfortune but Luna was mystified by how she had gotten so much of it. What in her life had she done so terrible that deserved such a fate as hers.
She looked up at Curtis with a sorrowful look of love on her soaked face. He gently ran the sleeve of his shirt over her face . Her breaths came out sharply as her attempts to stop crying were futile. How fitting that she couldnt even win a battle to herself over something as simple as tears. So she surrendered to her own emotions, unwilling and unable and unwanting to put up a fight anymore. In the only voice she could muster she said
[red]"You're all I have left, Curtis. Don't let me lose you...ever."[/red]
It didn't take long after she surrendered to herself and spoke those soft words to him for the already extreame fatiugue to take over. When she woke up she knew she would be in the healer's house with no one but Ari to greet her. With a sigh she reached for Curtis' hand which she kissed softly and let her trembling fingers cling to it as she fell into a distrurbing, yet much needed sleep with her head in his lap and the lonely thought on her mind that what she held in her hand was all she had left in the world.
