PERSONALITY: Pythos is a sly, cunning dragon, always up for mischief and mayhem. He would even go to the extent to pull a human into the water via fishing line. But he does have to be careful though, because it could end in him getting killed. He knows for a fact that most vikings don't appreciate being pulled into freezing cold water.
He patrols around the coastline, near the village and other places he feels like going to, sometimes coming onto land to hunt for more different prey. But Pythos mostly consists of staying in the water, hunting fish and other water species.
He does have a kind spot for humans. He loves to watch them, and sometimes talk to them if they don't run away at the sight of him. He isn't the most beautiful of dragons. But when it comes to food shortage and hunting, he does sometimes go to the extreme and actually take vikings and drag them into the ocean. He doesn't like to but its survival.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: He has the normal Abyss Dragon build, long, pure black with a white underbelly. He has a dark purple tint to his scales in the sunlight, instead of just pure black. He has a normal long tail, but the fin at the tip is somewhat shredded at the edges, due to old battles.
On his head he has a white frill with the little line that has the bulb at the end. His glows almost white when hunting in the ocean, or even on land at night. He has white eyes with a purple tint to it. Pythos has long, jagged teeth that jut out from his lower jaw, giving him a overbite. He has one broken tooth on the right, broken off half way in a battle.
He has a huge long scar that goes down from his shoulder blade to his hips, along with claw marks on his neck. When he tries to be mischievous with other dragons, it sometimes ends up with him getting injured badly. He tries to hide his damaged side, but it mostly doesn't work the way he plans it.
ABILITIES: He can spray jets of water from his mouth, like all abyss dragons. His shots are limited above ground at only five shots, but are unlimited in water. The jets are super fast and can sting to the point of short term paralysis, about as long as five seconds at the body part struck.
Like all abyss dragons, he has a certain type of venom he has in his teeth, which is mostly used for hunting. He will rarely use it in fighting, due to the fact he does not want to seriously injure who he is fighting, unless in a life or death situation. The venom is a light neurotoxin, not able to kill a man, but close to it.
HISTORY: When Pythos was young, he would always get into trouble. Sneaking onto land for a small amount of time to go up to a sleeping dragon. He would bite their tail then run into the water. But one day, it didn't go as planned. When he approached the sleeping Monstrous Nightmare, hearing it softly snore away under its tree, he approached it from in front of it. He was small, about as big as a salmon, and shouldn't be attacking dragons bigger than himself.
As he walked past the creatures nose, his tail bumped against the dragons nose. Its eyes shot open, dark yellow eyes staring straight at him. He went to its tail, slowly approaching it. Right as he went to bite it, the Nightmare swung its tail and slammed him into the ground.
The Nightmare picked him up by the tail fin and carried him out of its sleeping spot, and into the air. He squealed loudly as the ground began to shrink from his view. As the Nightmare hauled him into the air higher and higher, Pythos stopped screeching. The Nightmare landed on a huge tree at the base of the mountain. He thought quickly and bit the Monstrous Nightmares foot, sinking his long teeth into its skin. It howled in pain and released its grip on him, letting Pythos drop through the branches and into a little stream below. He followed it, running in the little stream of water until he hit a small cave, just big enough for himself. The moment he got inside something pierced his tail. Pythos wailed in agony, turning his head to see the Nightmare behind him, his tail in its mouth. He pulled and fought till his muscles ached and he was to tired to go on. He was being dragged from the cave with the dragons teeth were ripped from him. He turned to see the Nightmare being pulled away by a really strong Viking, obviously its owner. He checked out his tail, with was bleeding, the edges of his tail fin ripped slightly.
When he was older, larger, but still as mischievous, he went into the village to go and 'play' with some humans. He walked in at night, his white eyes glowing in the moonlight, walked towards a little hut. He was being cautious, spotting some nadders and zipplebacks lying atop some houses.
He got to a house, something behind him was growling. Turning around slowly, he saw a little green and orange Terrible terror standing there, back arched and growling. He snorted quietly, waving his tail and continued on towards the house. But it leaped and nipped his leg, then backed up to its original spot, still growling. That ticked Pythos right off. He spun around, and was nose to nose with the terror. He breathed in, raised his forearms then stamped them to the ground, releasing a loud roar. It sounded like a nightfury's almost, but with three high pitched clicks. The terror turned around and bolted towards a house, tail between his legs.
He grinned, standing up straight on all fours. Suddenly an orange light washed over him. Looking at the ground, he saw his own shadow encased in a orange box of light. Freezing, he turned around slowly to see a huge viking, muscular, and fuming with anger, staring down at him. Pythos whimpered and began to run. The man swung at him with a blade, and he knew immediately that this man did not like dragons one bit. The blade slashed him from the shoulder down, but he kept running towards the ocean.
When he got to the cliff side that overlooked the ocean, he stopped, panting and his heart racing. Looking over his shoulder, he saw the man lumbering towards him. Looking back at the water, Pythos gulped and leaped off it. As he plummeted, he curled into a ball and awaited the coldness of home. He hit the water and sunk downwards, only uncurling once he was deep enough. Swimming back to the surface, Pythos spotted the man, cursing at the water and waving his hand. He sighed and sunk back into the ocean, swimming towards the bottom.

OOC NAME TO CALL YOU BY: Storm/ Stormy
YEARS OF RP EXPERIENCE: 6-7 years, I dont know
RP EXAMPLE OF THE CHARACTER YOU'RE APPLYING FOR: Like a bullet, a black shape shot through the ocean after a shark. His eyes squinting, focused on his prey. With a burst of speed, Pythos slammed into the nurse shark, pushing it aside and making it spiral sideways. With long, curved claws, he grabbed it and dragged it towards the bottom of the ocean. The pressure didn't bother him, seeing on how his species belongs in the deepest parts of the ocean. He slid into a small tunnel, going upwards till he hit a small air pocket.
Crawling into the air pocket, Pythos hauled to shark onto the rocky ground. He looked at the hole. The dark black water sloshed, being darker than the cave itself. The little light on his head lit up, which was used for leading fish and unlucky creatures towards him, sealing their fate.
The shark flopped on the ground, its small yellow eyes staring at him, its tail twitching and wriggling. His head tilted sideways, altering the light slightly in the process. He hungrily tore into the shark, ripping hunks from the fish and swallowing them. When nothing was left, he slunk into the pool of water and followed the tunnel back out, and up to the surface.
He crawled onto a little beach near a forest, the sound of the rustling of creatures filling the air. He breathed in, the smell of the forest tree's, small mammals and other dragons filled his lungs. He walked into the forest, feeling the sharp grass between her webbed claws.
He saw a rabbit in a hole between some bushes. He made his frill lay flat against his head and back, took a running start and leaped. Closing his eyes, he leaped through the bushes. Or so he thought.
Pythos stopped feeling the air whisk around his body. Opening his eyes, he looked down to find himself stuck. Dropping his arms, which her stuck straight out, he tried to pull himself forwards, but with no prevail. He was utterly stuck.
For about five minutes he hung there, sighing. A sudden noise alerted him. He looked up, spotting a young viking, only around the age of fourteen. She was small and thin, and without a dragon. Why she was wandering around this forest is still a mystery, seeing on how small she was. Any large dragon could come up and eat her like nothing.
She saw him, stuck in a thorn bush, unable to escape the prickly bush. He looked up, the frill on his head standing straight up. She haulted, seeing his looks, then slowly approached Pythos. His black tongue flickered out, tasting the air. Fear. She was afraid of him, and he didn't blame her. He wasn't the prettiest thing on the planet.
She was right in front of him, Pythos looked down at her with his huge eyes. She stared up at him, shaking just at the sight of him. The smell of fear was strong now. Then she began to part the bush, giving himself some space to move. The thorns that stuck into his sides began to ease off him, to the point that he slid from the thorn bush to a heap on the ground.
He looked up at the girl, sitting on his hind legs. He was way taller than her like this, towering above her like a tree. She stared at him, a wave of fear washing from her frail body. Bending down to be nose to nose with her, she began to quiver. He licked the girls face, his black tongue washing over the girls face. He pulled back and scurried away, into a river and towards the ocean.
