She had left dragon island for the birthing merely for ensured privacy. His mother did not have the most protective demeanor however, and after 26 years, left to let him learn all the remaining things needed to, on his own. Varro does not resent her for this, but cannot figure out why she would have left. It makes him more curious and dissapointed than angry. Varro has lived nearer to Berk than most other dragons do, just because he has not known any-where else as home. Being extremely curious, he sometimes ventures out for days, only to explore. However, he always returns to Toothless' forest when satisfied. Teaching himself to fly between the dense trees of his home forest was hard, and Varro obtained many injuries for the first few years, but now he can manouvre reasonbably well, though his large size does not help. After fifty or so years however, he decided he just had to move, as his size was now too big for him to carry on living there, and instead settled on a plain, in an open area between two larger areas of forest. Varro sometimes spends a few hours lazily watching the Vikings of Berk go about their daily business and rolling his eyes a lot at the way they do things. He pities their allied dragons slightly, seeing them as losing their free will a little, but Varro does not hold any hatred towards Vikings. He views them as more of a curiosity. Varro is at most times, harmless. Preferring to keep himself to himself and watch from afar. But when roused his temper is terrible, burning areas of forest just to ease the fire inside him. He often hurts himself during these fits unintentionally, but the adrenaline makes him oblivious to injuries and most pains until he calms. These fits are often random and can be hours, days or months apart. He regrets them, but has not yet learned how to control them, even after over a hundred years.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Varro is large for his age, and even among the oldest of his breed he would be considered huge, though not the biggest of all. His head is rather refined with a long neck, three spikes are missing from the middle after breaking off in one fit, and four scales on his right cheek are replaced by red, scarred flesh. The colour of his scales is a golden brown, which looks more golden in a good light and his eyes are mismatched. The left eye being a clear white with a hint of blue, and the other being amber. Having a long in length, but shorter width wingspan helps in the trickier situations. His tail has no spikes, instead a line of extra hard scales run down the middle to the end, where it tapers off into a solid, arrowhead shaped tip, useful in a fight. Not that he goes near other dragons often enough to get involved in a fight. ]

▪ Varro is strong in body and wing, which he sometimes forgets. His take off is powerful, getting airborne quicker than most, but his top speed is not incredible. Made up for at least in part by his agility, honed by zipping through the trees of Toothless' forest every day of his life.
▪ Varro's fire is a red colour, changing in tone depending on the intensity. On the whole however, his fire-breathing is weak, and innacurate. This infuriates Varro but when angered his aim is all the worse.

App looks great, though there are a few things that need ironing out:

Though mothers abandoning their offspring to defend for themselves is natural, I don't think Varro should feel like he never needed one in the first place. Without the care of the mother I don't think Varro could have survived, so family is very important to fledgeling dragons.

Also the history needs bulking up a bit, not much has happened for a dragon that's 150 years old. Stuff must have happened, right?

"He is majestic looking, despite his strangely coloured eyes" Can't be considered as a positive trait, unless it gives him some sort of advantage. This kind of trait goes in appearance. not everyone might think majestic-looking as a good thing

Some clarification may be needed of Varro's artistic flair. He's a dragon after all, not a human. He doesn't have hands and fire isn't that great a tool for sculpting, moreso with Varro's fire.

On BerksDragons we consider Westerns a similar size to a Monstrous Nightmare. This makes flying through the forest somewhat very difficult if not impossible, unless the forest is less dense. Either that or you could make Varro smaller than usual to be more able to fly through the trees.

Though I can see your logic, I don't think you can get any colder than red fire. I don't think brown fire exists.
