(...only three others) DATE & TIME : Aug, unknown, 1:00pm WEATHER CONDITIONS : Calm, warm and sunny but with a chilling wind and dark clouds in the distance. CHARACTERS INVOLVED : Heska PREVIOUS THREADS: No Heska had decided to stroll off on adventure only a few days ago leaving her cozy little territory alone, she had covered great distance quickly and was nearing berk. So far her trip had been highly boring with no action at all to amuse her, but things were about to get heated up. As she laid in rest on a rock she was little aware of the near by villagers, in which she head never seen before. Her skin covered ribs expanding as she lazily breathed. Her eyes were open just a slit and one of her bellies full with a snack she had earned by riding a small trailer of it's goods, but not horses who fled after she cut them lose, the owner of it all no where in sight.
Heska jumped up when a high pitched roar filled her delicate ears making them throb in slight pain, damn! She thought frustrated as she looked up and froze stunned. A long air slicing hiss quickly left her mouth. It was a aerial dragon, what kind? She didn't have the time or care to find out! Bolting towards the village unknowingly she fled going as fast as her energy and splayed paw would allow.
From above the hungry western dragon locked eyes on the young Celeris Draconis's body. Circling twice it dove down at a tremendous speed, releasing it's wings a few feet above ground. This will be easy once it losses energy, she reassured herself picking up the pace.
Heska broke through the thick trees just as she was tackled to the ground tumbling on top of a crate. She swiped her paw screeching at the dragon as she raked her long claws across it's face, the dragon road in intense anger and attempted to bite down on her but she rolled just in time running and turning, shoving things around in her away. The larger dragon charged and she dashed through her legs and bit her stomachache, forcing her toxin to stay in. Letting go she watched the dragon tumble into a house. It stood looking madder then hell as it charged her and snatched her tail slamming her repeatedly into a house before tossing her at a tree.
Hitting the tree Heska screeched again and a crack filled the air, as she stood her legs shook and a new pain filled her ribs. The two charged on another, the older dragon spraying fire about and the younger dodging till close enough to scrape her chest repeatedly standing on her hind feet and moving swiftly.
In a quick moment a eerie silence filled the air as the western and Celeris Draconis held each other in a death grip. The one dragon's jaws wrapped around most of Heska's back ready to crush her at any moment and Heska with her jaws locked onto her neck applying her venom into her blood stream, teeth inches from the wind pipe.
Giving in the other dragon let go of her back wishing to keep her life, not realizing venom was coursing through her blood. Heska instantly released her grip on her neck feeling realized. The aerial dragon quickly took to the sky leaving her there in the battle field.
Heska looked about terrified by all the strange two legged creatures, and worse, massive dragons. Backing up she started to bolt backwards till she was hidden under a porch, forcing the floor boards up and damaging the nice place. She felt much safer in the dark cool place, her underside resting on the damp chilling soil, but knew it wouldn't do her wounds any good.
Deep teeth marks poured blood out in loads, seeping all over the place. The shy dragon didn't move though, teeth bared but without venom left. Getting light headed her eyes kept trying to roll back but she fought it doing her best to not let her body faint but that was just insane.(OK this is pretty bad so sorry but please do reply! )

(What's this? A thread needing a reply? Doodles to the rescue!)
Camo and Venny were having another usual day. She was planning stunts as he rested on top of the roof. 'Oh what to do today, terrorize some ViTs? Stroll in the woods?' Camo had been too busy pondering on what to do for the today that he almost didn't hear the high pitch roar in the distance. Venny had jumped in place and looked around for the source of the sound. The Changewing stood up on all fours as he did the same, he gaped as he witness a bloody fight between the dragons.
Venny looked away and rushed into the house. Camo knew she was going to help later on but the dragon had leap onto the floor and ran to where the fight was happening. It had ended but the red liquid was splattered around, the small dragon had looked around and found the victim under a porch. He bent his long neck down to get a good look at her, as he thought the dragon was injured. Venny had busted out of the house and ran down with some medical supplies that she made from Irrite's garden. "Hey now, are you alright? Come out please, you won't last long in that state," Camo said as he stepped back from the porch so that the Celeris could crawl out. Venny had settled the box down and looked under as well, she had bit her lip at the sight. "I didn't know dragons could be that brutal," she mumbled as she straightened her back.
The Changewing had a concerned expression on his face, even though he didn't know this stranger, the thought of witnessing a dragon fading away to death was... well it was disturbing. "We promise we won't hurt you," Camo added in a gentle tone, hoping that would comfort the new comer a bit more.
((Sorry for the short reply here but I just wanted to join C: > ))

The dark-scaled Western dragon soared quietly through the sky on ancient wings. The elderly female had witnessed the fall of the Dragon Queen and countless- almost, anyway - years before. Now, she just sought peace and quiet- hard to accomplish with a war going on, but Liskiarinara had never run away from a battle...or she liked to think so, at any rate. Looking down below, Liska witnessed the fight between the two dragons with a furious air. Before she could dive to intervene, the attacking dragon- a Western, Liska noticed with fury - ran off, leaving the injured dragon with a concerned Changewing and a human. Curving around in a wide arc, she slowly descended, getting a better view to see if she could offer aid. She sincerely hoped that the Western had not used his venom.
It was obvious that one of the dragons was hurt, badly. The other was trying to talk to the injured dragon, while the human was rummaging through a small sack- bag, box, whatever. It made no difference to Liska. Lightning down, landing carefully so as not to flatten anything- or anyone, which would end even worse. Thankfully, the scene was near an area that would be large enough for her to land. Trying to keep her tail as still as possible, she growled quietly, the sound coming from deep in her throat as leftover loathing for the attacking Western before getting a closer look at the situation. The more pressing concern was the injured dragon. The Changwing was trying to talk to the injured dragon. Dipping her neck down, she noticed the wounds. They were very bad, but they could be treated by a Viking if the Draconis could be convinced to allow the approaching girl to treat her. The trick would be the convincing.
Or, perhaps Liska had this all painted backwards. She had gotten quite used to that in her long life.
(Ohhh-kay. This'll be interesting. Not quite sure where Liska's going to fit into all of this, but I want to get her involved with the viking community. She's had bad experiences with the Hysterians, and I figure she could be useful somehow.)

(Thank you for replying! ) Heska looked at Camo, she didn't trust him...she didn't know what breed he was....but she didn't trust him because he was aireal. Prove yourself She said to him only, no one else would hear the mental message, just him...if his mind was open to her speech. She waited for his reply as a human came, mentally she shouted What is that!? It had been directed to anyone who would care to listen near by. She starred at Venny with a wild expression.
This place was so weird and intriguing, it was a lot to take in but amazing. She staid where she was listening to their voices, sometimes she wished she could form words and speak. She looked at the thing the girl had in which she was fiddling with, * What does it got?* She wondered curiously. A new shadow then hovered about, a very large shadow. When the dragon appeared she screeched loudly, aerial dragons were a main predictor of her breed. She hissed loudly, Stay back! I'm not going to be a easy meal! she yelled at only the two dragons, the sound was good enough to give a headache. She hissed on threateningly. Feeling suddenly all shaky the dragon's eyes rolled into the back of her head. Her feet gave out underneath her, she fell with a decent thud. The fainting hadn't help her earlier statement but made the getting her out a little different.

Camo blinked in confusion, not knowing why she wouldn't come out. Then again the stranger was a newcomer and probably didn't trust any of them. "I... I'll try my best," he replied for her ordering him to prove himself worthy of trusting. When Venny had came around, the Draconis had looked confused and panicked. Camo glanced at his partner then back at the injured. "She is my friend, she'll help you," he explained.
Venny has rustled through the box for the correct medical supplies and managed to find the right equipment. Before Venny could get the victim out from under the porch, she was interrupted by the sudden dragons that began to appeared. Biting her lips, she exchanged glances with her partner. "Alright then, I'll take care of this guy. You go ahead and... Cover me will ya?" The viking walked behind the medical box and pushed it quickly under the porch where she could fit, barely. Venny then began inspecting where to place bandages.
Camo on the other hand was plainly scared but stood his ground. Watching the older dragon that was around, his teeth clenched together and his long tail was just flickering about. "You're... not the one who attacked her... did you?" He managed to ask the large dragon. Hopefully if he played his cards right, he could get away and skip on this newcomer's intentions of being lunch. He watched as Venny began cleaning the wounds, she wasn't exactly the nurse's top student but she knew the basics of aiding wounds.

Liska gave a perfect impression of dragon irritation. "Do I look like some miserable dull-tooth who would go after another dragon?" She demanded angrily. "Dragons who attack their own kind are detestable creatures of the worst kind." Fine, some dragons ate other dragons. She personally found it distasteful- very, very distasteful, not to mention stupid. The balance of the world depended on variety. If you had only one or two species eating everything else, that left you with...two species who would probably start eating each other. Which left you with an uninhabited world. Not in anyone's best interest, really.
The now- irritated Western redirected her gaze to the wounded- and now unconscious -dragon underneath the porch. A Celaris Draconis, she was now certain of it. A venomous species, and, Liska though savagely, she hoped that all the venom that the little dragon could muster was now trapped inside the dull-tooth cowardly Western dragon's- her own kind? Maybe once- blood stream. He or she certainly deserved it, at least in Liska's mind.
Returning her thoughts to the present, her voice was much more mellow and gentle as she spoke to the human tending the Draconis. "Can you heal her?" She queried softly. The violent hatred that had erupted when she had sighted the fight gradually died down, becoming a gray churning presence as opposed to a great black maelstrom. Always an improvement...or usually, anyway.

Heska laid under the porch breathing faintly as they spoke. The girl soon came under and started doctoring her wounds. She still rested on though dreaming of the fierce fight that had happen only moments ago. Suddenly she snarled in her sleep and snapped her teeth at thin air, trying to release venom from her empty glands. She soon went back into a deeper sleep no longer moving her body other than to breath.
After at least ten minutes she could hear them talking and it interfered with her knew dream of eating fish with her dream mate. A light filtered into her eyes walking her as they cracked open. She lifted her lids the rest of the way up and watched the fuzzy seen about her clear into a perfect picture of her surroundings.
As she became more aware of everything she felt the girl tending to her wounds, she bared her teeth threateningly. A fierce hiss rushed out of her mouth and she fake lunged then jumped back. She stood waiting for the creature to react.
Once again the young dragons minty eyes rolled up into the back of her skull. Her legs gave out again and she laid motionless on the ground. She quickly entered a dream in which she was flying, high and free like Ariel dragons. It was wonderful feeling wings on her body, she was smiling big and joyful.

Camo gave nervous smile, "Sorry," he apologized to the large dragon. "It's just at the moment, we got a injured dragon and well... I can't say that I'm not concerned," he muttered. He was also more concerned about the ViT under there with the injured, if she gotten hurt then well... They may have more trouble than they need. Taking a deep breath, he stood his ground and watched as his partner took the stand.
He didn't know what type of dragon she was, or what type the older one was either. All he knew was either of them were dangerous to him, physically and probably mentally. Scratching the dirt under his claws, he began to wonder if the Draconis would make it.
Venny had bandaged up one of the wounds quickly, as the Western Dragon leaned forward to ask something, Venny had understood her. "Yeah, she's hurt pretty bad but... She should... She'll make it." Being careful with her words, Venny had went to doctor up another section of the injuries.
She jumped back when the Draconis began moving once more, but it seemed she was in some deep sleep. Biting her lip, she continued to wrap the bandages around. Hoping she wouldn't get hurt doing this. Once the Draconis came back a second time, Venny gasped in surprise as the victim bared her teeth, with an annoyed huff, she double checked on the bandages that she finished. With a nod of approval, she had finished her work. "Camo, do you think you and the Western next to you can pull this dragon out?" She asked crawling back out with her box.
Camo had nodded and began reaching for one of the Draconis's arms to pull out with. "Hey, do you want to help her too, or what?" Camo asked as he turned his attention back on the older female. "I-if you want to that's fine," he mumbled nervously.

Liska ignored the snap from the Changewing- Camo, as she now knew him and reached under the porch and helped pull the injured dragon out. She felt sorry for the young dragon, and she was certainly young- no older then a wyrmling. The old Western wondered, with no small amount of concern, what in the world she was doing on her own at such a young age. It was certainly usual.
Then Liska noticed the splayed paw. Ah. The mother must have kicked her out of the nest. Feeling sorry for the young dragon, she continued pulling her out so Venny- the human- could finish tending to the Draconis's wounds. Pulling a little, more, the Celaris was almost completely in the open. When her work was done, she released the Draconis and glanced up at the sky for any sign of the Western returning, possibly hoping to claim his "meal" that was lying on the ground now. Her yellow-gold eyes swept across the sky. For the first time she noticed the dark clouds. Rain made her edgy. It was hard to breath fire- if it was possible at all- in the rain, something the irked her greatly, as well as made her nervous. Fire was important. Beyond being an advantage in combat, you could use fire to find your way in dark places- caves, tunnels, caverns- or at night.

Camo had gotten a better look at the injured dragon. With a shiver that made his spines tingle, he had sympathy for the Celeris. She had looked way too young to become food, Camo shook his head at the event that was taking place. A sad sight for sore eyes. But the question on why the young Celeris was flying all and about wasn't going past the Changewing's head.
Venny on the other hand was already thinking about the question, but she ignored finding out the answer. Finally finishing up with the wounds, she had stretched her legs with a yawn. Whist doing that, she had noticed that the clouds were getting darker. She hated rain, it always messed up the camouflage she makes for her future traps. With a sigh, Venny had paused to plan out what else to do with this Celeris. With a few mumbles and curses, she had decided to that her to a cave nearby.
"Hey Camo, do you think you can carry this poor fellow up to the caves before it gets dark?" Venny asked. Camo looked at the small dragon and nodded, "She looks light enough," he turned his head to look at the Western. Venny had followed his actions with a raised brow. "Are you helping too or what? It's going to rain soon.

(Venny really likes needling dragons, doesn't she? xD)
The Western fixed the young Viking with one baleful yellow-golden eye, gaze flashing with a mix of irritation, distrust, and respect. While the girl had probably saved the tiny dragon's life, she was still insolent and somewhat foulmouthed- in other words, your typical human teenager. But in the end, Liska knew that the girl had only the best intentions for the Draconis at her heart and nodded in Camo's direction. "She is. I'll carry her, if you'll lead the way." Liska had a feeling that she knew where the girl meant, but decided it best she not screw things up too much. After all, she spent a good portion of the last three years in her cave in the mountains, and had only recently- as in, a couple weeks ago- moved down to the forest nearer to the village. She bent her neck towards the ground and gently lifted the injured Wyrmling in her jaws, positioning the Draconis's wounds so as not to tear the bandages or create new wounds with her teeth. She assumed it was not so different from carrying one's sleeping young- something that Liska had never done, and, thanks to her advanced age, would probably never do. She wasn't sure if it was something to regret or not. You can't miss what you never had. She reminded herself, as she spread her wings, a jaw muscle twitching as one whacked a nearby structure- it felt like a tree, and seemed to have the right proportions- to take off.

(Well she's not lifting that heavy dragon herself isn't she? C: > )
Feeling much in charge (which was always a pleasure to the young viking), Venny had climbed on top of Camo whom was already preparing to take flight. "That I can do," Camo said after the older Draconis had him in charge of leading the way. Venny exchanged a glance between her and Liska at the way she carried her patient, with a shrug she suggested that was how mothers carried their young. Psssh she didn't know this stuff.
Camo raised his wings and beat them down quickly with a jump. Already in the air, the dragon had flapped his wings once more until he was further off the ground. Resisting the urge to show off one of their stunt moves, he keep himself gliding away Berk. Hoping that the other dragons were catching up, Venny had turned herself around to keep watch. "Hey Camo, go slower will you? We have a 'disadvantaged' dragon, not the some other ViT." She ordered not bothering to turn around. "Please, the ViTs's dragons are more bothersome than the untamed dragons. I know what I'm doing here," Camo scoffed. He already knew the other dragon flying could fly at his speed, at least he thought so.
