(Poll only concerns the members who don't use the cbox)
I've been thinking about this for a while now. This is mostly regarding newer members, but it's also for most members in general:
The cbox is an essential part of how this site works. Communication is vital for creating threads and the majority of RP ideas bloom from conversation.
But out of the flux of members that come and go, only a handful actually come chat. I'm wondering if there are issues on certain computers, or that the members are willingly refusing to chat.
It's a shame really, since scheming happens most on the cbox, and I notice the players who don't interact with us tend to disappear because they can't find someone to play with, which is obvious, if you ask me.
I'm not forcing you guys to come talk with us, but I'm just saying the positives of popping in to say "Hi" for a while outweigh the negatives by a long shot. It would boost our activity and if more players interacted with each other, then there'd be more diversity
Yes, Ok, there are time zone differences. As far as I know, only me and Pime are European at the moment (unless you are too then yay), and we all have our busy real lives too to worry about, but late afternoon/evening is the optimum time to see people on the cbox if you wanna meet other members. (talking about US/EU-ish times here in general, (sorry Reaper! Xc))
There's also the plot page to scheme in if you are really persistent about not talking in the cbox with other players. If you want someone to meet ouyr character, post up a thread there and someone will surely reply, if not give you more ideas! Don't be afraid to go into plot pages already made and give your opinion, no matter how old the thread is
And if you really have a problem with the cbox, like if you want see it or you know a better chatbox to use, don't hesitate to PM us! I don't know what forums you've been on in the past, but we're not evil dictator admins wielding the banhammer like it's the apocalypse XD PM's are a great way to communicate with other members too
