Date: September 5th TIME : 4:00AM WEATHER CONDITIONS : Overcast CHARACTERS INVOLVED : Tatsuya and Sundra PREVIOUS THREADS ? None
Tatsuya was flying in the air surveying the area. She hadn't seen any humans yet maybe she was on the wrong island. The only reason she was deliberately looking for Berk was because she had over heard some of the humans at Hysteria talking about how careless the humans are on berk were. The only reason she cared about careless humans was because the humans at Hysteria were on to her. She couldn't sneak through the town anymore. "There is an unusual amount of dragons here." Tatsuya thought to herself. "Maybe they were all wiped out?"
Tatsuya flew closer to the ground to see if anyone was camping. She was disappointed when she couldn't find anyone. "Why douse this darn island have to be so huge?" She wasn't very comfortable with how close to the ground she was flying so she went back up to where the clouds are. "Maybe I can get a better look from the mountain." She looked around for a high spot that was flat and sturdy, but had to compromise from something further down. Standing on the edge she looked for any signs of civilization. From this corner of the mountain it didn't look like there was any. The best option now was to take a nap because naps fix everything.

Tatsuya woke up an hour later. "Darn, if I keep this up most the humans will be awake. I guess since there's no sign of them here I could travel below and look for signs." Fly towards the ground she looked for a good clearing in the trees and landed in it. "I hate the ground. Why would anyone stay on the ground were the humans can get them. The only place were the ground is ok is the bottom of the ocean. They have all that water to protect them. Great now I'm talking to myself." Tatsuya actually talked to herself quite often. For some reason there was some hole in her being she was missing and talking to herself seemed to ease it.
Focusing back on the task at hand she looked for any signs of humans. Chopped trees, garbage, human scent, weapons, contraptions anything. After 30 minuets of not finding anything she came up with a brilliant idea. She would lead them here. It was nearing the time when a few humans should be waking up and it was risky to actually be attracting humans to her, but she needed to know if there were humans on this island and a fire would do just the trick. Where there was a fire there was humans trying to put it out. Tatsuya walked over to a tree that was fairly distant from others. She didn't actually want to start a forest fire. So she lite her chosen tree up with her blueish white fire. The fire moved strait up the tree and the smoke traveled high in the sky. Tatsuya spent her time patting out any fire that traveled beyond the tree.

Sundra walked out the front door of her home, shutting the big wooden door as quietly as she could without it creaking and waking her family up. She turned around and looked down the village pathway that ran by her home, not too many people were up around six in the morning. She figured another hour or so and people would really be up an around the village. But that meant little to her at the moment. Sundra adjusted her bow that was slung over her shoulders and made sure her sword was in the right place. There was nothing worse then a sword rubbing against the side of your leg, especially if you accidentally cut yourself with it.
She started down the path out of the village and into the forest. She had been down this path so many times before she could probably close her eyes and walk along it without going off course, too much at least. As she walked along the dirt path into the forest she could smell the dampness in the air, the grass had dew drops hanging from he blades and the ground beneath her wasn't so dry as it usually was. She liked the morning, it was always calm and quiet. Not that she doesn't like the noise, it's just that if she can walk away from it then she will.
Sundra continued walking as she thought about random things in her head. Nothing in particular, just random things. Like how would the weather be for the rest of the day, was she going to see anything interesting this morning that wouldn't be very common, would she run into anyone out in the forest at this time? They were good questions, but they were only thoughts in her head.
She headed up a small hill in the forest and then back down again. She stopped and looked around at her surroundings. She took a little bit of a different route today aside from the one she usually took. She was in a little deeper into the forest then usual. When she stopped she heard something, not very natural sounding either. It sounded like a crackling noise, and it sounded familiar. Her suspicions were confirmed when she smell burning pine. As much as she loved the smell of it, there was something up. She drew her bow off of hr shoulders and grabbed an arrow from the quiver off her back. She notched the arrow into place on the bow and kept it there as she walked towards the noise. As she walked closer to the crackling noise the smell of the burning pine had gotten stronger. She saw the pine burning and got behind a nearby tree, not very close to the pine its self but still in view of it.
"Hmm... A dragon must of misfired or something when it was firing and hit the pine. [/b] She spoke quietly to herself as she watched the pine burn. She looked around it to see if the fire was spreading around, because that's the last thing she would need happening to a forest. But when she was looking around she spotted something in the trees. She didn't catch a very good glimpse at it, but she knew well enough that it was a dragon. "Well.. I think I just found our culprit.. But what kind of dragon is that.[/b] She spoke to herself as she looked in the general area of the dragon.

Tatsuya didn't actually expect anyone to come. She did what she did more as reassurance that nobody was there and then she would leave without any regret. She probably would have preferred to never have done what she did then have to face what she was facing now.
Her plan worked, but she wished it hadn't. A girl with brown hair had come to see the fire. "Wait whats that she's holding." She thought to herself. "Its a bow! Who brings a bow to put out a fire!." This was bad this was very very bad. Tatsuya had made a number of mistakes the biggest one probably being she wasn't flying in the air. Had she actually expected anyone to come she would have been far more cautious. "Alright stay calm. I'm dark right and the sun isn't quite up yet. Maybe if I just stay still she won't notice me. What am I thinking. There is a big fire right in front of me. Of course she sees me. Ok she is just a girl maybe if I can frighten her away." Tatsuya would make sure she was very slow and deliberate she didn't want to act to quickly and scare the girl. She might let loose the arrow out of instinct.
Tatsuya jumped and landed right next to the tree she was in. She then began to pulse electricity around her body and growl. She slowly walked towards the girl intensifying her growl as she got closer.

Sundra kept the arrow notched in the bow. She looked around the area, kinda hoping that the dragon would fly it's self off and away from here. If she was about to fight a dragon she was hoping she won't have to kill it, or at the least hurt it a lot. She hadn't fought a dragon before, but her teacher had taught her what to do if a dragon did attack and she had to fight. But in the class is different then out in the field.
She watched as the dragon slipped down from the tree that it had been perched in, until now she hadn't had a good look at it. But now that she has had a look at the dragon, running was not an option. Unless you can move faster then the wind, it was impossible to out run a skrill. Sundra stood from her ground and looked as the dragon started to draw closer to her, she readied her bow and aimed at the dragon.
"Don't move another step! I'll shoot if I have to![/b] She clearly stated to the wild dragon. She was hoping that it might get the point and back off. She was hoping as well that her voice was loud enough to reach to someones ears nearby. She only hoped.

"Damit." Things were only getting worse. Tatsuya's actions had only put her in deeper trouble.
"Don't move another step! I'll shoot if I have to!
Tatsuya immediately stopped. Ya she understood what she was saying. She had hung around the humans near her home long enough to understand the basics. She was unable to reproduce the sounds they made though.
Her chosen words I'll shoot if I have to peaked her curiosity. Why would she not shoot now. Perhaps her threat worked to an extent. Pushing it now would be a bad idea though. The human obviously displayed its courage. What to do. If she flew off the sudden display of weakness might encourage her to shoot. And Tatsuya didn't feel like getting injured she still had a long way home. She couldn't think of a safe way out of this. Tatsuya took a step back and stopped growling, but kept the electricity buzzing around her body. Then she took another step back and crouched to a poncing position. It might be possible to stop approaching her but keep up the threat. Better idea if she backed of maybe the girl would feel less threatened and run off. Keeping her crouched position she slowly inched backwards. All she could do now was wait for the girls reaction.

Sundra kept her bow raised and aimed at the dragon. She watched it's every move very carefully, if sh didn't she would end up being it's breakfast. Sundra obviously knew that running at this point would have no effect on the outcomes. She kept watch of the electricity buzzing around the dragons body, chance's are if she were to end up fighting the dragon using a sword wouldn't exactly help. One swing and contact and she would get a bad shock.
A moment passed before Sundra started to watch the Skrill back up and ceased it's growling towards her. Was it backing down? No, it was still in the position to pounce on her if it wanted to and she had no doubt if she fired that it would. If the dragon was still in such a position, maybe it was possible for Sundra to lower her bow. If it did pounce at her she might have enough time to move out of the way, then again she might not make it at the same time. She had no choice really. Sundra lower her bow and slipped the arrow out of it's notched position.
Sundra looked at the dragon more carefully now. She didn't have much of a guard up at the moment, even though she was the one who was threating the dragon in the first place. She kinda wondered where the skrill had come from in the first place, she hasn't seen a wild one on the ground before so this was a rare sight to her.
She thought for a moment and realized that the skrill has heeded to her warning about not moving any closer to her. Was it possible the dragon understood human language? Maybe. The only way was to test her theory. She slung her bow back over her shoulders and slipped the arrow back into her quiver. She looked at the dragon and took a deep breath. "Umm..[/b] She hesitated for a moment. "Can you understand me.. somehow. Sundra sounded kinda stupid even to herself.

"What!" The girl dropped her weapon. "Wa...what?" Tatsuya couldn't fathom why anyone would do that. It was one thing to hesitate when you had the perfect chance to kill someone, but to entirely drop you defenses and leave yourself open to an easy kill. It was unheard of. She still couldn't leave though. That girl could still bring her bow back up and get in a lucky shot before she could escape. Then the human did something crazy again. She put her bow away. This was ridiculous. Tatsuya looked at the girl with curiosity. "Why did she do that."
The tree that was on fire was about to go out. Through her peripheral vision she could tell it was about to fall and. As soon as it did if the human adverted her eyes just for a second she would pounce on her. "Now would be the perfect chance to kill her now. There is no risk to myself. No, she could have easily shot me. Even if I hate them if one choses not to attack me when they have a chance then I won't kill them.
"Umm.. She hesitated for a moment. "Can you understand me.. somehow. "Yep." She said in her own language. The girl wouldn't understand. It would just sound like a strange noise to her. Tatsuya had no intentions of letting her know she under stood her. With that she took off into the sky, so happy to be back. She flew over the clouds and disappeared from the grounds view. "Wait a sec. There are humans on this island!." In that case she needed to know where they lived and since she couldn't find them she would have no choice but to follow that girl she just left. To follow her she would dip below the clouds for a second and make sure she was still on her tail and then disappear back into the clouds and after a minuet repeat.

Sundra had watched the skrill before it bolted from the ground and into the cloudy, overcast skies above the earth. She peered into the heaven as if she was looking for an answer, and she sorta was. She wanted to know where that skrill had come from. Unless it had come from another island then it would of been used to the humans being around it at this point. She looked down at the ground and pushed the hair off her face and behind her ear. She then turned her gaze over at the burned and charred tree, it fell over only seconds afterwards.
Sundra looked at the ground where the skrill stood, poised ready to attack only moments ago. Something caught her eye and she walked towards the spot. She knelt down to the ground and rubbed the dirt off a scale. She picked it up and looked at it before slipping it into a pouch she had on her hip. She stood up again and started walking away from the sight, vanishing under the tree canopy that covered the skies above.
She was surprised at herself that she managed to stay so calm and confident in that situation. It must of been from the teaching she had been receiving lately. She really did have a good teacher and she was going to tell him of this experience for sure and how she stood her ground as a mighty skrill stood in front of her ready to attack at any second. You blink and it could of been too late.
Sundra smirked to herself as she got to the dirt path leading through the forest back to the village, the path was walked over so many times before that grass doesn't bother to grow in it's place as it would just be a failed attempt. Sundra looked around the forest and smiled to herself as she continued to walk down the lonely path. It was still quiet in the forest but she soon started to hear the bustle on the awaking village, she had chores to do and not to mention her class she had to get to. She didn't have a whole lot more time to doddle around and doing what she wanted to do until her time to sleep later.
Sundra walked down the rest of the path as the trees started to turn into flat plateaus, and village ground. She walked down the street and up to her house and opened the door. "You'll never guess what just happened."
