Clockwork gave a light snort as he laid down, he was getting too old for this... Well actualy he was still quite young for a dragon, older than most of the other dragons however. He set his head down on the concrete as he waited on the comotion to simmer down. Listening to Saxi.
The non-chelant threat to beat Ulrika caught his attention, oh well, the girl needed to learn and a good spanking might do it... Although he doubted that was what he meant. Viking punishments werent near as relaxed, they normaly meant bloody beating and brutal pain. He'd saved little kanya from most of those, only alowing her to get a small slap on the wrist when she was truely in the wrong. He'd even stand up to her parents to keep them from punishing her. Thus, he'd do the same thing for irrite.
The only time such a punnishment was truley called for, in his mind, was if someone was seriously hurt intentionaly. Whitch, he highly doubted irrite would ever do. He wrote that off as just scaring the children into obaying him, witch was an innocent practice.
He stoodnas Saxi gave the lesson and picked up a blindfold, droppinh it down at Irrite's feet, turning and exposing his old leather saddle. It squeaked as he moved, his body rotating beneath it comfitorbly.

Everyone was climbing up on their dragons now. Complete with tied blindfolds. Too bad Irrite didn't have- oh wait! He had Clockwork now! Wow it's hard keeping track of how many dragons he had! Which was usually zero if you didn't count Daisy. That little lizard could be a surprising young dragon. Right back to the lesson, Irrite needed a blindfold.
Oh, Clockwork got it for him. Irrite really wondered how far they had progressed in their relationship. In no time they might be the best bond yet! The boy scooped up the piece of fabric as he hopped on Clockwork's old looking saddle. He reminded himself to try to get him a more newer looking one but he seemed satisfied with it. Before he tied the blindfold over his eyes, he took a quick glance at everyone. Irrite began to worry about himself not being skilled as everyone else.
"Oh well, this should be over soon." He mumbled to himself as he finished the knot. They would fly up, and then Irrite would mess up something and fall to a gruesome death. Splatter on the floor like cracked jam. He really didn't want to deal with this lesson but it's been a while since the last.

Saxi went to mount his dragon, swinging the leg that wasnt in the right stirrip over and relaxing into his saddle. He gave a harsh pull to the reighns, the dragon's head turning sharply as he spun around like a horse. Rhe horse's high spirit making him rear up for a moment and slam back down.
He headed subzero out the door and looked back at his class. They all seemed decently comfitorble... Exept Irrite. He seemed so uptight. Most dragons would have thrown such a highstrung rider by now. But this one was so calm. The scared up dragon seemed to have nary a problem with it. he just seemed abit restricted. Witch could be dangerous in the air. A restricted dragon wpuldnt move as freely as a relaxed one.
He pulled his dragon back, watching as the dragon followed on his own, not even waiting on the boys command.
" Relax in your saddle. You have a very laid back dragon. But they feel tension, your tension may restrict his motion and distract him... Witch might cause a crash." He said as the red dragon passed him.
Venny's cockiness caught his ears. He sighed, pincing the bridge of his nose for a moment.
"and you... Reighn in your cockiness. Cocky is good to an extent... Too much and it can really get you hurt." he directed a venny. he spoke from experiance. The reason he was forced to retire was because he got too cocky. A monsterous nightmare put him out for a whole year and would have killed him had Subzero not been there to subdue the beast and carry him back.
These kids had a lot to learn before they were ready to really start learning the intelectual stuff. His goal was to have ever kid learn Dragonese, have each dragon able to defend their ViT's and vice-verse, teach these kids how to ride ANY dragon and not only their own, and much much more.
His attention then turned to opal. She had no dragon. He would be sure to help remedy that later. But for now she needed something to do. She needed something educational. He thought for a moment. What alternate assighnment could be just as intresting as actualy getting in the air.
He led Subzero to were he kept his saddles and began gather pieces. This was an assighnment he was going to save for the class later, but in this case he would switch the lessons out for her. He'd take her to the skies later when the rest of the class was learning how to put their saddles, bridles and tack together. He returned with about twenty diffrent pieces of just a saddle and about 14 diffrent sizes of leather straps and all kinds of diffrent buckles.
"Here, put this saddle and bridle back together. Ill take you in the skies once we get you a dragon. Then you and me can have a one on one lesson while everyone else is doing this."
He said seting down the pieces and taking sub-zero to the skies.

Venny started to boast, and obviously this was not in Ulrika's favour. With her attuned hunting ears, she turned around and pinpointed Venny and called out into the void: "Oh yeah? Well I have a Night Fury! We're gonna whoop your arse in style!"
Ulrika heard the teacher scold them for being cocky. "I'm not cocky! I'm just sayin' what's right!"
Timber, by now, had had enough of these antics, and Ulrika quickly had to hold on as they left the ground. Without eyesight, it felt almost like that first time they flew together, scary, feeling disorientated like you were falling.
But the Night Fury wasn't stupid, she wasn't going to do crazy stunts that only a Night Fury could do just yet. She could almost feel the anxiety of her rider, and leveled out, catching a wind to ride on.
Ulrika had to rely on what she knew, relying on her hunting senses that seemed to help her in the air too. It quickly happened that she could hear no one but the whistling wind around them, and the other ViT's disappeared from existance. It was just Ulrika and Timber once again. But there was no glorious vista today.
Ulrika flexed her fingers on the saddle's handles as she felt the beast beneath her, feeling the wind, and her body remembering from prevoius flying sessions how the dragon would react next. She remembered when they slalomed through the rock pillars, even with eyes, she had to react quickly, otherwise risk being thrown off. She hoped the Night Fury wouldn't do that anytime soon.
Timber waited to assess how the other riders would do. Knowing Ulrika in this strange, animalistic being, she felt confident this exercise might, for once, be a success.

Was that Ulrika's voice? Of course it was, no one had that bragging tone. Venny snickered loudly as she tried to locate the source of Ulrika's voice. "The type of dragon doesn't have to do with it," she laughed. "It's how long you'll stay in the air with them!" And Venny had been flying for so long that she never kept count. And Camo had gotten used to all her stunts and such.
"Cocky? Come on I brag a lot but I'm no where near cocky! At least not yet." Venny had shuffled around Camo's saddle and listened to the wind brushing against her ears. It was a decent day for flying, there was some wind and the chill in the air relaxed them both. The prankster thought about how this lesson was going to roll, she was blind at the moment. And Camo was simply gliding around the air so that he had something to do. She supposed that should be enough to kill time.
The Changewing had glanced back at the bored prankster and shrugged. It seemed the others were doing well. At least. Well it was a good thing that the duo already trusted each other from previous experiences. He could even try to spin around and Venny would still be hanging on. Oh what a pair they were.

Clockwork went into a trotting start for an easier take off. Hoping the bounciness of his gate wouldnt throw Irrite too off gaurd. His wings fanned, catching a gust and taking off smoothly. He leveled his wings, gliding gently over the wind.
He remained there for a while, deciding to turn and meet up eith the others. He tilted how wings diagnaly whirling back around gently to meet up with the others, trying to stay semi level so Irrite wouldn't slip off.
He was still getting used to how Irrite rode. He didnt quite squeeze his sides like Agmarus and Kanya did. They would squeeze in with their legs to keep from slipping, thus learning to ride bareback eventualy. That would take a while with such a spooky rider.
He then completely leveled out waiting for Irrite to possibly get a hold of his nerves. He then sighed, he knew that Irrite coulen't understand him. But it was worth a shot, there was a translator here for thor's sake.
"Geeze boy, squeeze with you legs. Im not going to let you fall."

At least the girls up there were getting some thought into them. Bragging a lot could get you in tons of trouble. Then again, when ever Irrite tried flirting with anyone, he usually ended up with a black eye. If he thought about it long enough, everything ends with a punch to the face. Oh well.
Oh right, flying. Irrite managed to keep his cool as Clockwork began to take off. He felt the air brush against his cheeks as they both took to the air. It was a smoother ride than he originally predicted. He thought it was going to be a bumpier ride but it was just bouncy. Sure there were some tilting, Irrite guessed that was just his dragon catching up with the others.
Hm? Was Clockwork saying something? Oh if only Irrite focused on talking with dragons instead of gardening pretty flowers just to give to girls and other people. Let's see... What was off... Irrite would look up to see what the others were doing, sadly they were blind. Tight grip on the dragon... Wait no, his legs were still loose. So Irrite squeezed a little bit harder. "Was that it, Clockwork?" He asked out loud. Wondering if that was what he got worked up about.

Saxi sighed, tying off his own blindfold. He did this all the time on his own for the fun of it. He smiled, patting his dragon's shoulder. He felt Subzero's hesitation. He didnt feel comfitorble with his master risking his bad ankle. Maybe one more year? Talking Saxi put of teaching, however, was impossable. That man was stuborn as an yak when it came to that.
He kicked his dragon into the skies, the wind it cause whiplashing against his wings. He then listened abit.
"alright, so far so good. No crash landings yet. "
Subzero snorted beneath him. He needed to keep an eye on his students. Sometimes he forgot he was teaching new ViT's not riding with seasoned riders.
" take the blindfold off... You need to watch these guys. One falls off youll never know!" subzero snorted.
"uhh. Fine." he unties his blindfold, letting it fall to the earth. "happy?"
Subzero simply nodded.
"alright dragons. Have fun, just dont kill your riders. This is going to be a pretty relaxed lesson. Nothing too exerting."

(Ill write another reply to keep this going.)
Saxi then remembered. His nefew. Poor boy, he just wouldn't fit in with this class. He was so frail and sickly, one poke and the the class might break him. None the less, he'd agreed to enroll him in the class and take good care of him. Hopefully the boy wouldn't get too hurt... Although he was intrested to see what kind of 'rare dragon' his mother had mentioned.
"Alright class, I have an important announcement." he said waiting on things to quiet down.
"We will soon have a very important guest in our classes. He is very diffrent and cannot hand very much rough housing or harshness. He is my nefew and he is very sickly. He will be here in a fews weeks with his dragon and if I hear anyone's been giving him trouble, you wont want to know what I'll do with you. We're lucky he's lived to be 15, sadly we don't think he'll live much longer. His parents decided to send him here to have fun for the last few years he's got left. "
He shook his head as he shrugged.
"Now that that's been said, carry on. Have fun, do tricks, go upside down. Just dont fall off... "
Sub-zero snorted before deciding to say somthing to the dragons as well. "This goes for dragons too. You guys have abit more sense than the humans do , but just be VERY gentle with him. He snaps like a twig."
(consider this a continuation of the last post)

Ulrika and Timber idly floated around on the zephyrs. Slowly Ulrika began feeling slightly more confident, and the Night Fury steadily risked more maneouvers, though it was obvious that Ulrika was awfully unstable without her eyesight.
But then the teacher spoke up and began to talk about a potential new classmate. Timber circled closer to the Galewing so they could hear the news. Timber crooned sadly at the sound of this boy.
Ulrika didn't take the news as she should. "If he can't be a proper Viking then what's the point in coming?" She asked, unaware of the repercussions. Timber growled loudly at her. "What? I'm only saying the truth! A weakling doesn't deserve to even bother trying to get into Valhalla anyway." She retorted, she wasn't stupid enough to know growling was bad.
Unfortunately, it made it worse and Timber caught Ulrika off guard by flipping upside to make her fall off, again. Timber wasn't afraid to play with Ulrika's fear, it was like a punishment. Though whether Ulrika saw it as that was a different story. Ulrika's scream echoed off the nearby cliffs and landmasses.
Timber looked to the Galewing. "It's not me you're going to have to worry about." She said simply before diving to retrieve the idiot.

'Have fun' they said. Well Venny wasn't pleased with this lesson. There was no risk of any kind! No life threatening dives, no swirls through the trees, just flying with no vision. She groaned loudly as she leaned against Camo's neck. "At least do something cool," Venny whined as she let her arms hang off her dragon. The Changewing scoffed as he kept the steady and safe pace up. He really didn't want any beef with his partner, or any of the other dragons for that matter. All he wanted right now was just some simple peace and quiet. The prankster sighed as she accepted the meaningless lesson. Once the old guy talked about some new kid joining, sounded pitiful really. Camo hummed as the described the boy, reminded him of Irrite when he had arrived on Berk. That was many years ago, back around the time he had brought Venny back from the forest.
Even Venny got interested in this new student. People like that were way easy to manipulate. Perhaps he could be a new partner in pranking, she snickered as she nodded. "Got it, gramps," she chirped, agreeing with the news she heard. Although the duo flinched as Ulrika made her comment. "Geez Reeka, can't share the spotlight on who the weakling is?" Venny snickered loudly as Camo clamped his jaws shut on saying anything. Let's hope there isn't more hate gathered on them again. "Besides, we have Irrite," she added. "They can't be that bad." "I just lost so much respect for you, I can't believe this lesson is going the other way."
Camo's antennas jolted up as he saw Ulrika fall off Timber. Not that he does the same thing to Venny often. Was this apart of the lesson? The prankster on the other hand gasp as she knew the type shuffling and scream too well. She could only guess that she fell out, but she had the blindfold on. It was only a wild guess. "Ulrika?" Venny called out, looking around blindly with the blindfold. "I didn't mean the weakling part. You didn't have to jump off a dragon to prove that you aren't."
