WEATHER CONDITIONS : Frigid, windy, cloudy, and ready to snow

Why in the gods' names was it this cold? Selene sat shivering next to her small tent, trying to warm herself by rubbing her upper arms. Sure, she had Crystal curled around her, but the cold-blooded dragon didn't provide much warmth.
The dragon herself wasn't doing so good either. Being dependent on the sun for warmth had rendered her immobile. She couldn't feel the tips of her wings, so she held them stiffly at her sides.
When Crystal began to whimper, Selene patted the dragon's neck. "Don't worry, girl. We'll get through tonight just like we always do."[/color] In all honesty, she didn't even believe her own words. She knew the weather was bad already, but with dark clouds looming overhead, it as sure to get worse.
The wind whistled by her face, making her cheeks numb and cold. Selene nuzzled closer to the dragon's side, receiving only a weak whine in return. "What are we g-going t-to do?"[/color] She stuttered.
Crystal used what little energy she had, and curled more tightly around the girl. "We'll survive. That's what we'll do.[/color][/i] The dragon knew Selene couldn't understand dragonesse, but at least she could give herself some comfort from the words.
What I wouldn't give to have an actual house… Selene balled her hands together and blew a few hot breaths into them in hopes of regaining feelings in her fingertips.
