Date: September 1 Time: near noon Weather: a cool breezy sunny day
Saxi sighed sitting in his saddle sideways. His dragon happily looking about beneath him, distracted by every little noise or flash of light. He awaited the two ViTs arival. The good old sport of dragon hunting. He was sure the Vits were somewhat capeable of finding one on their own, but he wanted to be there just in case things got intense and they needed him.
Not all dragons wished to be tame, some were wilder than a buck in fact. Although he'd never, ever, admitt it , he did worry for the saftey of his students. But stone cold he remained. The hard, intimidateing man that was Saxi was all that showed.
About midday and no sighn of them, then again Saxi did alway come to events early. Either that or it was because he chose right infront of the forest as their meeting point. The idea of them getting hoplessly lost wanst too redicuous to be true. He shook his head and decided to wait alittle bit longer before going on a search for them.

Sundra made her way out the door. Bow slung around her back along with the quiver full of arrows. She was going to be spending the day with Saxi who was one of the newer teachers for the vikings in training, and Opal who was a new girl to the island from what she's heard. She wasn't too fond of Saxi, he was distant and cold by what she had observed. Opal though she had not seen much of and her actions were unknown to her.
She made her way through the village to the meeting spot that Saxi had told the two girls to meet him at. She was thrilled to be able to go out and attempt to find a dragon, Actually; she kinda wasn't. The amount of times that she had gone off by her own to attempt to find a dragon for her own were starting to become too many to count. She smacked her forehead and shook her head. " Don't be so difficult with yourself. So what if you don't have a dragon yet. At least your the second best shot on the island. " She smirked to herself as she heard the arrows shuffle against each other in their quiver.
Sundra looked up at the mid day sky as she closed in on the meeting spot. She saw Saxi and rolled her eyes to herself. She had to spend the day with a walking corpse of a man. Wow. If she wanted this she would go and follow Ari around for a day, actually that would be kind of fun to do, but creepy at the same time. Point is still there though.
She stopped and looked at the older man and raised an eyebrow. " How are we on this fine morning, my droopy friend? " She said with a grin.

Opal had been pacing on the dock for what felt like the longest time. She looked up every now and then waiting for the ship in the distance to turn around. Her Aunt had taken all of her stuff back to her hut. It was Opal's very very first day on Berk. Her aunt had seemed a bit shocked but none the less made sure to talk to the viking in training teacher to ensure he had a spot open for her niece. Opal was going to be a bit of a special case. 17 years old and still no dragon. Aunt Paint had viewed this as plenty funny, and told anyone who listened that her niece was a pirate.
She made it back down to the port and clapped her hands together, staring at Opal as she paced. "Enough pacing! Time for dragon lessons!" Opal merely snorted, she wasn't going to listen to the woman! At least... Not till Aunt Paint gripped her by the ear lobe and started dragging her away. Opal hissed and clawed at her aunts hand as they walked on the solid ground.
Soon they were in the forest, Aunt Paint grinned and waved at the teacher and merely pushed Opal forward who stumbled a bit s her aunt addressed the teacher. "Hello Saxi and... She squinted at the kid with a bow, "Kid who's name I don't recall. This is my niece Opal! She's a pirate!"
Opal frowned and crossed her arms, "I am not a pirate..." Aunt Paint rolled her eyes, clearly not believing that. No one the island was going to believe that when she had just spent all morning telling anyone who would listen that she had a pirate niece.
The older woman ruffled Opal's wild red hair and gave a thumbs up to Saxi, "Don't kill her!" Was her parting advice before turning and walking back towards town, a hearty laughing following her steps. Opal looked down at the ground, shuffling her feet awkwardly.

Saxi was half asleep up untill the point Sundra showed up. However, it wasnt her speech that woke him. He managed to hear her footsteps before she even arived. They would have to work on that later. Loud was a no go for him.
Come to think of it, Saxi was never that loud. Even his regular, everyday footsteps were muffled and silent. He perked up slightly to he speech. Hmm. Droopy was a new one. He'd been called almost every name in the book but that one, theres a first time for everything.
"Droopy huh?" he mumbled. Next thing he knew a woman was toting along a ViT he remembered as Opal. She was going on about... Well he wasn't nessicarily paying attention to what. He sighed as the rather loud woman left.
"Alright then. We all know why were here. To find you all dragons. Anyone have any prefrances on what they might like, what they wont like. Remember that once you tame them you can't simply put them back." he explained.

Sundra glanced over at the unfamiliar face. The more distinct feature that stood out to her was the red hair, not many people on Berk had red hair. It was.. intriguing, cool even. But her attention was grabbed by Saxi when he asked them what kind of dragon they wanted to find and what dragon they didn't want. Sundra had the same thought run through her head at least three times a week. " A yak pelt for every time I thought of that and I'd never be cold in my life again, even if I sat up in the frozen wastes. " Sundra commented before shrugging her shoulders a bit. " Well.. Although impossible to find on the island; unless you follow giant thunderstorms, I'd like to be able to find a Skrill. " She said quite bluntly "But the chances of finding one of those, again, pretty much slim to none. If I had to choose a more common species I'd have to go with a nightmare. " Sundra was curious to know what the new girl was looking for in a dragon. For herself though, she thought she had a more.. rare taste. Yes a Skrill was hard to find, ignore training one, but it would be such an accomplishment for herself.
