Storms~ Lots of lighting and living around lots of trees? He hopes to the gods they don't catch on fire. Plus, a storm took away his family.
Violence~ Even though he hasn't been exposed to much, he knows he doesn't like it. Why can't people just band together?
Conceded People~ Everyone has room for improvement. There's always someone out there who is better

Not that fast~ Running has never been a strength for him
Will sometimes hide from people~ Its his nerves, and him being in solitude

FEARS:
Dying alone~ Even though he's alone most of the time, he doesn't want to die that way
Never finding anyone that will care about him~ His heart is still willing to love but is not sure if people will ever love him, if they ever find him, that is.
Seeing someone get hurt~ He has a semi weak stomach for blood, plus he hates violence
Hurting someone by accident~ He can't stand people getting hurt and he'd feel awful if it was him inflicting the pain
Large numbers of people~ He hasn't exactly been around a lot of people at once in his life, so large multitudes freak him out
Large scale storms~ The lightning around large trees and the loud noise of the thunder makes him very nervous. He also is scared that another tree will collapse.
AMBITIONS:
Find a small tribe to try and fit into~ He isn't good with large crowds, so maybe a small tribe?
Over come his fear of loud noises~ Its just silly, but he's still freaked out

Talks to random animals he finds in the forest~ Has done this since a young age
Desperately wants a family again~ He really wants to be loved again by a family, even if he knows it would be adopted
PERSONALITY: Ryan is a sweet tempered boy. He is mostly friendly and happy, though somewhat on the quiet side when you meet him. His quietness is usually out of nerves since he is usually by himself and isn't used to company. If he befriends someone, it is usually for life. He doesn't turn his back on people who need him, and in turn, hope the same from them. Even though he hasn't met a lot of people in his life, he is rather sociable and amiable. He gets jittery around large numbers of people.
The boy prefers to be out in nature most of the time. He loves tree climbing and swimming, anything to get closer to the earth and the life on it. One of the things he tended to do when he was younger, and sometimes does to this day, is talk to animals. He has a quiet way with animals, he just sits and lets them have their space, giving them the option to either come or flee. The boy also leaves out crumbs for animals that come by often. The only nature thing he dislikes, is storms. Ryan dislikes loud noises in general. Weather it be shouting or thundering, he cringes away from it.
Sometimes Ryan will hide when people come. Most of the time this is out of nerves. After being left alone for so long, sometimes he isn't sure what to do. Even though he does feel lonely sometimes, he still hides. Throughout the years, he has become pretty good at it. His confidence is shaky, that leads him to cracking under pressure and being unsure of himself sometimes. He hates violence of any sort and does whatever he can do to stop it. Even though he hasn't witnessed much, he knows that he dislikes it.
True to his feelings, Ryan isn't afraid to let them out. He shows them mostly rather than verbally telling other people. He also isn't that afraid of showing physical affection. Overall, if his semi shyness shield is broken though, he will become a rather loyal friend. For the most part he is happy, with a good disposition. His attitude has not altered, even though he has had his fair share of loss. Although not often, he can have a somewhat stubborn element to him.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ryan has a round shaped face with grayish blue eyes. His eyes are slightly large and often reflect what he's feeling. His hair is dirty blonde and roughly cut short. His build is skinny, but strong. He weights around 95 pounds and is about 4 feet, 5 inches high. He has strength in his arms from all of the tree climbing he does. His legs are slightly long and so are his arms. Besides the scar on his shoulder, there are no other marks on him. He wears the usual clothes found on the people of the area, although he hates making them. He wears beige skin pants, a greenish colored shirt and a fur vest when it gets cold out. He also wears brown furred boots with roughly made ties.
HISTORY: Ryan was born on the outskirts of the tribes. He was born and raised an outsider. He used to have a viking name, but then his parents changed it and cut it short. The boy and his parents lived in the forest, near a river. Their house was a roughly made, small house. Ryan didn't mind, it was his life and it was all he was used to. His parents raised him and taught him how to take care all during his child hood. His father taught him how to fish, while his mother taught him how to make clothes and cook and such. Ryan learned eagerly and absorbed it all with happiness. He was very close with his parents, and loved them very much.
When he was was around six years old, Ryan found an interest in climbing trees. Unknown to his parents at first, Ryan started climbing and once fell half way down. That's how he got a scar, and that's how his parents found out. Even though they didn't want him climbing around anymore, Ryan wanted to. Against his parents, Ryan became stubborn and kept climbing, and improving himself. They finally let him do it, seeing it as just another skill he could use. They also taught him how to swim, something else Ryan became very good at doing.
The boy would watch the animals and learn from them. Sometimes his movements even reflect theirs. He is happy living in the forest, and sometimes comes to believe that the forest has adopted him. Ryan knows his way around and has figured out all the best hiding places and the best places for food and everything else. Throughout his childhood, he was very much loved and was taught many valuable things.
Everything changed when Ryan became ten. During a storm, a tree collapsed and half of Ryan's small house was crushed. That small half turned out to be the half his parents were in. The boy was thoroughly devastated and used all his will power to just old himself together. He half rebuilt the house so there was only the small half that his room was in. To this day, Ryan is still recovering from loosing his parents. All his life, they had been there for him, now he is left fending for himself. He has done surprisingly well, but has resorted to hiding more than showing himself.
Soon after his he lost his parents, he made a spear for fishing. The only modification he made, was that the spear head could detach. The shaft became a staff that he frequently uses and keeps with him just for walking. The spear is also for last resort dense. When not using the spear head, he puts it in a small leather pouch, on his waist. It was one of the last gifts from his parents.
When walking in the forest a few days after his thirteenth birthday, and having a mood swing of sadness, Ryan came to a part he had never explored. While walking around, he came across a Basic Brown dragon. It was eating and the boy did what he did with all animals. He just kept his distance. After watching it for an hour, the dragon saw him. At first Ryan freaked out since he had never had a lot of contact with dragons. So he just sat down and threw his staff and pouch with the spear head behind him, trying to show that he meant no harm. He just sat there for a while, just watching the dragon who kept on eating the plants and every so often, would look at the waiting boy.
His parents had told him of stories. Stories about how the vikings had managed to train and befriend dragons. They had never had dragons themselves, but had heard all the stories. So, with that in mind, Ryan started to try and befriend the dragon. At first he would go with a fruit, roll it towards the dragon and then back away a bit. He'd go there every day, rolling the fruit less and less, and staying closer. After a while, Ryan got decently close enough to touch the dragon, but still kept his respectful stance on it. A week later, Ryan left the fruit right behind him and turned around. A few moments later, he heard munching and then shut his eyes and reached behind him. At first Ryan heard a small growl but stayed where he was, getting slightly freaked out. Then he felt something rub against his hand. He turned around, very slow and the dragon was still there.
During the next few months, Ryan continued to befriend the dragon in which he started to call Dusty. Soon, after Ryan got to touch him, Dusty followed him to the remains of the house. Their relationship continues to grow and they trust eachother more and more every day.
