BerksDragons has cancer [PLEASE READ]

Turns out, to upgrade to Proboards version V5, we need the 'Admin' account to upgrade us. But as most of you know, Abyss has been long gone since last year.

Though i've sent an email for her to come and rescue us, chances are she may not come at all, and though the site will update in due time, the 'Admin' account won't be around to fix code and stuff only the 'admin' can do to help convert us.

This means BerksDragons, without the Admin returning, is destined to a gruelling end of broken code and layout that we will be unable to fix.

The only solution that has been presented to us in this case, by Proboards Support themselves: migration.

It's uber sad, we have so many memories on this site and its had it's ups and downs, but it looks like we really have no choice...

With this news, I'd like your input as I start to build the new forum, just in case.

Anything you'd like to see? Keep the otms? Anything you want added/removed from the original site's design/layout/system? Please let us know, we want the Neo-BD to be really great for everyone!

Alrighty then. Migrate we shall. So long as i dont have to remake my chaaries. But can I get Lyn fixed before we migrate possibly? Maybe the migration will kick activity in thr butt and make it keep going.

Well, we still have to see if Abyss heeds the distress signal i sent out to her, but i guess if she doesn't get to us any time soon we'll go over.

You won't have to remake your characters, -just the accounts maybe- but then just copypasta your finished app into the accepted section (or WIP if you want to make any modifications) and it'll be autoaccepted We'll link you when the site is ready, with a ton of mass emails

Oh wow, of course when we actually start working on the replacement is the day it happens. Basically this site has be upgraded to V5, and since all the code on this site is based for V4, there's a lot of broken code that none of the staff on this site can fix because none of us are the creator 'admin', that was Abyss, and she hasnt been online since last summer. So, all we can do is set up the 'sorry we're not home please go to the new site sign' and play on our new site. Problem with that is we only started work on it yesterday...please bear with us as we transition over .
