The four great Clans - Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan, and Windclan - have died out, leaving only a few sickly and wounded cats. These cats became rouges, or kittypets... Years later, some young cats became interested in their ancestors. Soon, clans started to form. Birchclan; proud and fierce, Oakclan; loyal and brave, Pineclan; dark and mysterious, and Willowclan; graceful and gentle. These four clans grew, each finding the age-old camps of the former Clans and taking them as their own. They now thrive on the Lakeshore.
