Frostfire made her way along the highest point of the canyon, eying the human at the water's edge. He didn't smell human, and he looked different. She crouched in a patch of trees near the edge. Her wing still ached, as well as her leg. The Night Fury's eyes darted around as her stomach growled quietly. After thinking a moment, she plunged into the air, landing with a thud not far from the human.
It was a clumsy 'flight', more like a fall, really. She slid her teeth out, stepping back defensively and raising her sapphire-streaked wings. Frostfire stared intently at the human with her blazing blue eyes, waiting for something to happen.

Frostfire stepped back in confusion when she heard Dragonese coming from the human's mouth. Her wings dropped slightly, and she stared at him for a moment. Shaking her head, the Night Fury sprang forward, letting out a snarl, "I can't trust you!" Her speech was rushed, slightly confused.

With a low growl deep in the back of her throat, Frostfire pulled back slightly herself. She sat slowly, seeming to compose herself. After a moment, the Night Fury hesitantly slid her teeth back, though their pointed tips were still visible. "All you humans ever do is lie and kill." She muttered, sapphire eyes narrowed.
With a sweep of her tail, Frostfire stood, prowling closer to Noah in a cat-like manner. Her wings were tucked in close to her dark body, but jutting out just slightly toward the ends. Ears back, Frostfire sat once again, staring at the human in front of her. Up close, she could be seen as under-fed and sickly, her ribs visible under her scales. "But I don't think you'd be able to defend yourself against me, anyway."
