Keena stretched and yawned, she had been enjoying the sunny day and ended up falling asleep curled up against Marush. A cool breeze blew off the ocean, bringing the salty smell wafting towards the girl and dragon. Keena took a moment to savor the smell, the smell of home. Closing her eyes, she leaned back against her dragon, his warmth staving off the chill of the air. "Don't you just wish we could stay out here forever? Just you and me and the forest." the red head smiled to herself, opening her green eyes she looked up to the tree canopy, the sunlight filtering through the leaves turning the light a greenish colour. "It's always so peaceful and beautiful." Marush made a half pur half grumble sound in his throat, Keena took that for assent.
Marush shook out his wings, careful not to hit Keena, and swished his tail, moving around slightly to be more comfortable. The sun felt wonderful on his scales and the dragon soaked it up. Raising his head, the deadly nadder looked around, his bright yellow eyes surveying the forest. Did he hear something? He shook his head, causing Keena to squeal with laughter. "Would you watch it Mar? You're going to deck me with that skull of yours." she laughed and ducked low. Marush blew air at her then settled back down. Must have been a raccoon or something.
