Curtis looked around his home, It was much to small. Yes, It did do what it needed. Provide shelter from the weather and warmth so on and so on. But Even Slity was starting to get that cramped feeling Curtis could tell. He walked outside and looked around, It was a nice day out. Birds were being a nusience as always. But what are you doing to do about it. Curtis walked out to the back of his home and looked at it, There was a large space behind the home for room to build more on it. Curtis walked back into the house and looked over at Slity, "Come on. I think we got some work to do." Slity knew what Curtis was talking about. He let off a happy noise and walked towards the door going out.

Curtis walked over to an axe he had by the side of the house and picked it up. Curtis walked out into the forest and looked around, He didn't need alot of trees. Only enough to build the extension he was thinking about. Curtis found a good enough tree and had Slity blow Ice over it to weaken it. Curtis tapped the wood after he was done, Nice and cold. Curtis swung the axe at the tree only afew times and it came down. They kept on doing this until they had about ten trees down to work with. They brought them back to the clearing and starting to get to work on it.

There was a stone base they had put togather and that Slity had froze the rocks togather with his breath. It was VERY useful to have a dragon that breather Icey breath instead of fire. They got to work on building the floor over with with the planked kind of wood they made, After they were done with that they started with the walls working up. They were making very good progress at the time,

[Luna Heiler & Ayer]

Luna woke up on a rather overcast and cloudy day. It was nice outside though, the air was cool. Luna had just finished sending off a dragon back with it's master, they dragon had had a little pneumonia but Luna had fixed that quickly. She sighed and glanced over at her two dragons who were sitting next to each other watching Luna. She didn't have anything to do now. She had some weeding that needed to be done, but she didn't feel like doing it right now. She leaned back on her counter thinking of what to do. She watched snip and snatcher playfully wrestle for a minute before she decided to go see Curtis. She she opened to door to
the cloudy day. She called her dragons who scuttled over to her and followed her out the door. Luna walked quickly down the streets and soon reached to forest. She walked on into the tree cover looking up into the canopy of trees every so often as she walked. The trees swayed gracefully in the light breeze. After walking a few minutes she started to hear trees falling in the distance, like someone was cutting them down. She walked toward the noise. Once she eventually got to where the noise had seemed to be coming from She saw no one, just stumps where trees had been cut. She shrugged and decided to head on the curtis' house.
When she got to the clearing where Curtis and slity live she saw that Curtis was building something around the back. She walked around and waited for him to look up before saying " hi! What's all this?" motioning to what looked like an extra room being built onto the small structure. She smiled at him asshe waited for an answer.

They were starting to get to the half way point. Curtis wanted to get this done Today. He had gotten a somewhat large arch way in the wall of the house that was already built. They only needed to get the top layer of the new wall extension done and then the roof and they were done. Curtis put the axe down and poked his head up over the wooden wall looking at Luna smiling. "Hey" Curtis responded. He heard Luna ask what was going on. "Were building an extension onto the house." Curtis laughed abit and he looked into the house from the archway opening. "Yea, We cut this part out of the house open, Built this platform onto it and started to build" Curtis looked up at the sky seeing a dragon or two fly over head. Curtis walked around the foundation and half built wall to Luna Looking at her. He felt somthing naw on his leg lighly, He looked down and saw Scratcher on his leg playfully nawing it. "Heh, I think he has really taking a liking to me" Curtis laughed as he looked up at Luna then back to Snatcher.


Curtis walked back over to Slity who was lifting the logs up ontop of one another to create the wall and freezing them into place. Curtis smiled and scratched his head abit walking over to a small, Make shift ladder kind of item. He looked around. "Luna Mind helping me out?" Curtis got down off the ladder and walked over to Luna and pointed to a pile of logs against the side of the house. "Mind taking two or three of those and throwing them on the fire inside?"

Luna nodded when he asked her to put some wood on the the fire she picked up a couple small logs and walked in the front door with them. She Walked slowly over to the hearth so she wouldn't drop the wood. She kneeled down and placed the logs gently on the fire. She poked the embers with a stick which was lying by the fireplace until the logs caught fire. Luna stayed there for a minute and watched Curtis wOrk. He was Working on the walls still, she assumed he would be for a little while longer too. She sat there for a little longer before getting to her feet again and going out to Curtis. Now that she had seen what she was doing she could try and help him. She wasnt very strong but she could help him lift logs and set them in place before slity sealed it off. They worked like this for awhile until they got to the roof. Luna continued to help in any way she was able. Once they were almost done Luna said she needed to go find snip and snatcher. Curtis nodded and Luna walked out of the clearing and surveyed the surrounding trees and undergrowth. Luna whistled a few times and finally on the fourth time they must have heard her because they came romping over. Luna reached down and scratched them both a couple times until they settled down a bit. Luna walked back into the clearing with her two terrible terrors at het heels. She saw Curtis standing there with his back to her and his hands on his hips. Obviously he had finished now. Luna creeped up silently behind him and jumped onto his back. Not hard enough to knock him over, just so she could swing her arms around his neck and put her legs around his waist. She giggled quietly and put her face up next to his. She quickly kissed his cheek and said quietly " it looks good, curtis." and smiled.

Curtis let out a puff of air when Luna jumped onto his back, He didn't hear her coming and didn't think she would do that. Curtis smiled after Luna kissed his cheek, "Thanks." Slity was letting off happy noises and jumping around, He was happy to have this built becuase he knew it was his little room. Curtis laughed abit as he looked at Slity jumping around. "Someones happy arn't they" Slity stopped and let of a small noise as if agreeing. Curtis walked towards the front of the house and opened the door walking in with Luna still on his back. He bent down backwards and let Luna get off his back by the fire. He went and examined the small room they had just finished off. It was already warm from the fire inside the home. Curtis walked back and sat down leaning against Luna abit looking around.

Slity ran into the warm room and sat down laying in it going to sleep. He was tired out already and just decided to go to sleep. Curtis looked at Luna and smiled. "He's not the only one whos tired." Yes, It took a fair amount out of Curtis' energy to build that room, Especially in that small amount of time they built it in. "How are you?" Curtis asked with a questioning tone towards Luna.

" I'm fine...." Luna said in reply to Curtis. Even if she was tired she probably couldn't sleep. She had been having really horrible bouts of sleeplessness lately. It would be nice to doze off for awhile but she knew she wouldn't be able to. She ran her fingers through her hair. " well your probably tired though, you were working hard before I even got here." she said looking at him next to her. She took his hand and glanced at slity sleeping and saw snip and snatcher lie down next to him. Her dragons were funny, they didn't really sleep at night unless she did so they snoozed atlot during the day when Luna was like this. They were both good loyal little dragons. Luna glanced around the room until her eyes landed on the egg. It would be hatching soon now. It was set in a safe position on some Blankets and such. She smiled, she knew curtis would take good care of it. She gave his hand a quick squeeze before stepping closer to him. She was till waiting for an answer to her question. He looked like he was thinking. " what are you thinking?" Luna asked him.

Curtis shrugged abit when Luna asked him what he was doing. "Kinda.. Not really though, Just random thoughts." Curtis was always thinking about a majority of things depending on what he was doing, What he had just done, Or What he was thinking. "You thinking about anything?" Curtis replied to Luna with a normal tone, Not as much as a question tone. Curtis lightly put his arm around Luna and smiled. He looked over at the egg for a moment then back at Luna. "That egg is going to hatch pretty soon." Curtis laughed abit after he said this. He looked over at Slity sleeping in the other room purring every now and then, Probably from his dreams that he was dreaming.

Luna shook her head no when Curtis asked if she was thinking anything. Sure she was thinking things but not really anything interesting or anything she felt like saying out loud. When he mentione the egg she glanced over at it. He was right, it was going to hatch soon. She looked back at Curtis. She sighed " I don't want to go, but I have other work to do before sundown." Luna said regret in her eyes. She touched her nose to his before stepping back and walking over and waking up snip and snatcher. After they had awoke and were on their feet. Luna walked towards the door. she paused and turned around before leaving. Curtis was right there. Luna reached up and ran herhand along the side of his face before saying " goodbye for now, Curtis." and swining the door open and stepping out the and closing it behind her. She took one last look and the new addition to the house before walking out of the clearing and heading home through the forest.
