Luna slid off slity as they landed in a grassy feild. She imagined Curtis and slity working together in this field. She smiled and ran a hand down slity's side. She looked around, it wad really just a big open grassy area with a few rocks here and there, it would have been a good place to train a dragon. She wondered why Curtis had brought her here. Maybe he just wanted to visit. Luna wandered a few steps away. She looked at the plants here trying to identify any herbs if she could. But the vegetation on the mailand was much different than that of the plants on berk. She looked around and saw Curtis a few steps away. Luna decides to walk a little farther away- she waded through the tall grass, snip and snatcher following her closely. She wasnt quite sure what she was doing or where she was going. Luna found a bush with big pretty yellow flowers on it. She picked one and smelled it, it smelled really nice. She tucked It behind her ear and glanced around her. She Saw a movement in a copse of trees that bordered the grassy area. She took a step closer and she saw something launch into the air. 'a dragon' she thought. She made her way back to Curtis.

Curtis looked around when Luna went to go look around for herself. He walked around looking to see if anything new has happened to the landscape, There was nothing new. There was a few houses being built closer to the fields but that was just about it. Curtis saw Luna walk back to him. "Let's go for a walk." Curtis started to walk forward through the feild. He looked from side to side of the field. Few dragons popping in and out, Nothing too dangerous that could hurt them unless it became rage, Even then it's how ever far away. Curtis saw a small tree over ahead. "Never saw that tree there before" Curtis shruged abit and he looked at it. "Must of just popped outta no where, Or I never looked closly." Curtis walked towards the tree.
Slity looked around when they got to the tree, He was curious on what was around him. Basically like always, Nothing new with him. Curtis took a seat down near the tree under the shade of it. The sun was out by now but the morning was still cool. The sun hasn't warmed up the area yet, It was kinda nice at the same time as it being cold. Curtis looked at the grass under his hands. It was somewhat damp and cold, It wasn't as damp now as it probably would of been a couple hours ago.
Slity sniffed around the tree, He smelt somthing. He didn't know what but he dug some of the ground out from around it and blew on it abit. He saw somthing Purple and white. He move his claw and pushed the loose grass off the top of it. It looked like an egg. Slity made a noise loud enough for Curtis to hear. Curtis looked over towards Slity by the tree. "What is it?" Curtis got up and walked over to the tree. He saw the purple and white egg, He knew what it was. "Luna come over here." When Luna came over he lightly picked the egg up out from the quarter of the ground it was in. "Look what Slity found." This was odd. The Egg was just left there, That's not normal. And here in Red Rock the Dragons always hide the eggs pretty well. This wasn't it seemed like it was just dumped there, It hadn't been there long. The earth around it was still very soft from digging. Not from Slity digging though, From whatever dragon left it there.

Luna got up and followed curtis' voice to him. When she reached him and slity she stopped dead in her tracks and staredand what they were leaning over. It was a dragon egg like she had never seen before. By the looks of it, it had been buried. That was unnatural for a mother dragon to do, wild dragons would usually nest up in mountains or cliffs or at the least in a tall tree. Perhaps it was dead. She ran her hand over the egg. It was warm and she felt the sensations in the palm of her hand from the egg that she knew meant life. So it was alive, but why was it buried. She leaned over it and the yellow flower she had behind her ear fell out. She set her hand on the smooth surface if the Strange purple and white egg. She was bewildered. Luna kneeled down and put her ear up tO the egg and listened. She heard and recOgnized the noises inside the egg. There was defiantly a baby dragon in there. She brought her ear away from the shell and looked Over at Curtis and asked him "well...what do we do with it?"

Curtis scratched the back of his head thinking for a moment, It was left the purposly. It was abandond. Curtis looked up at Luna for a second before looking back down at the egg. "I could always take it back to Berk with myself." Curtis thought that Luna was probably thinking he couldn't take care of an egg by himself, So he decided to awnser the question before and if she was going to ask, "I know how to take care of Dragon Eggs. My Mom and me used to take care of all kinds of Dragon eggs." Curtis didn't mind taking care of it, It would be pretty cool to raise a Egg by himself for a change, He knew what to do so it wouldn't be a problem to do so.
Slity walked up to it carefully sniffing it and closing his eyes letting out a happy noise. Curtis laughed abit as he watched Slity do so. Curtis walked over and carefully lifted the egg out of the ground mould it was in, He would place it down on the ground and would grab his bag, The only thing in it he had was cloth. He placed the egg into the bag and wrapped the egg up in the cloth to keep it warm. "Alright, Let's head back?" Curtis would put the bag onto his back and would get up onto Slity's back and waited for Luna to get on. After she was on he pushed Slity to fly back to the house.
When they arrived back at the house Curtis looked around.

Luna watched Curtis as he gently set down the bag with the egg in it. She wondered what he would do with th dragon when it hatched. She knew he could take good care A dragon hatchling, her concern was the condition the dragon was going to be in when it hatched. It was only about halfway through development, it still had almost 3 months in the egg. This was alot of moving around for an undeveloped embryo. He would just have to be really careful with it- which she knew he would be.
The next week Curtis spent showing Luna around his hometown. Luna liked it alot, it was so much difference from berk. When they left, they brought the egg them. As safely as they could they transported it back to berk with them. Curtis brought it back to his house with him and slity. He decided to keep it until it hatched and then raise it and release it into the wild.
