Luna woke up on a cloudy day. There was a little sun shining though the coverage. Luna sprung out of bed and quickly got ready to go, today she and Curtis were going for a fly on slity. She walked out her door in no time. She made her way down to the beach where they had arranged to meet. The day was breezy and cool as well. Luna briskly walked through the streets until she reached the forest and walked a short way through it before emerging onto the sandy bank. She looked both ways down the beach and spotted Curtis and slity waiting for her. She quickened her pace to meet them. She smiled when she got to them. " hi, Curtis." she said. She looked at him for a few mOments, She was always glad to see him. " and hi slity." she said giving the white fear a little scratch in his side. He made a happy noise and greeted her in dragonese. Luna could tell Curtis was eager to go so she stood next to slity and Curtis helped her to climb up. Then he got on and comforatable before Luna wrapped her Arms around him. She had good enough balance on slity now that she really didn't need to hold on, but she liked feeling close to Curtis and he never complained about it so she didn't stop doing it. She gave him a quick kiss behind his ear as they took off And skimmed over the waters, which where kind of rough today. Then Luna smiled. She loved flying.

Curtis woke up that morning feeling good. He and Luna had planned to go on a joyride with Slity. Before he left he had fed Silvia and she had fallen asleep. Knowing her she slept for long periods of time, Just incase somthing happened he had left some extra food there for her to eat. Curtis and Slity had left and met up with Luna. They said Hi so on and so on. He help her up and they had taken off. The water's were choppy today, The sky was gray. He didn't know if this way they best of ideas, But he decided to go on anyways.
Curtis looked around, It started to suddenly rain he looked around then back at Luna. "Hold on." Curtis would go to turn Slity around but the rain picked up harder at that second and Slity started to get dazed from it. They couldn't land, They were over ocean waters a streak of lighting would light up the raining area, Curtis saw somthing in the distance looked like land. He wasn't sure if it was Berk or somewhere else, Either way He headed for it. On their way there Curtis felt somthing on Slity and he let out a cry. He must of hit his wing, What ever it was he felt them going out of the air. Curtis try to get Slity to get to the island before he crash landed,They Just made it to the island when Slity couldn't hold anymore. They dived into the sand and Curtis flew over his head and into the sand. As for Luna, He wasn't sure.

Luna had been holding tightly onto Curtis and slity as they flew through the raging storm. At some point the dragon had began to spin out of control. They had crashed on a beach and Curtis had been ripped out her arms, but she had managed to hold On to slity during the crash. She had held on with her arms and legs as the white beast flipped over a few times. Now they had stopped turning and Luna was stuck under him in the sand. The weight was crushing her and jarring her to her to her bones. She wasn't sure if slity wad unconscious or just not moving. But Luna was Trapped under him in the heavy darkness. She tried to wriggle her way out, she tried to move her legs but she was unable to move anything. She tried to scream for help but the weight was crushing her ribs and her spine, it was impossible to utter a word. So Luna lay there, helpless. unable to move, or to yell for help. It was becoming hard to breathe with the weight on her which seemed to increase as she layed there. She wondered if Curtis was ok, if he was close, if he would be able to help her, or for that matter find her, in the fierce storm. Perhaps they were separated, maybe he had landed in the sea. Luna made herself stop thinking the worst. She prayed Curtis would find her and save her- soon.

Curtis looked around trying to find his way through the dense rain that was plummiting down from the skys to the earth below. Curtis looked infront of him and say Slity, If Luna had held on She would be with Slity. He rushed over to Slity, He was awake but he was guessing he didn't want to move. Curtis looked around and Saw Slity ontop of Luna. "Ah shit." He looked around on Slity's body. "Where's that spot where's that spot" He was looked around and then remember, He stuck his hand under Slity just abit. He pinched hard and Slity flew backwards in the other direction. Curtis let out a sigh of relief. He walked over to Luna and help her up, Having a dragon ontop of someone like that that long isn't the best of things to do.
Curtis put his arm around Luna and walked with her over to Slity. "Come on Slity." Curtis lightly tapped him with his foot. Slity got up and started to walk with them, His wing was down on the ground obveiously in pain. Curtis saw a Cliff overhang, under it was dry by the looks over it. Curtis walked over to it with Luna and Slity walked behind them. Curtis let Luna down and he walked over to Slity checking his wing. "Hmm..." He got up and walked back to Luna. "You alright.." Curtis lightly pushed small area's on her stomach and her sides to see if there was and tender areas.

Luna was still gasping in air, the weight from slity had really winded her. She looked around at where they were, they were under a relatively dry cliff overhang. The rain fell over the side like a waterfall. It was strange though, for some weird reason this place seemed strangely familiar to her. Almost like she had been there. She didn't think about it too long because In a few seconds after she had caught her breath, Luna let Curtis push around on her stomach to make sure she was okay. He gently pressed his hands around, testing for pain. She hit a spot that hurt and Luna gasped and gritted her teeth. His hand recoiled. Luna reached down and pulled her shirt up around her ribs. She saw curtis' face before she saw herself, he looked surprised. Lunas looked down and saw herself. Many spots on her stomach were beginning to turn black and blue. Curtis lightly pressed the bruising spots with his fingertips. Lunas muscles clenched up when he did. She knew he was only doing it to check for broken bones, but it hurt too much. She lightly took his wrist and pushed his hand gently away. " I don't think anything is broken. I'll be okay. I know you should check, but it just really hurts." Luna said.

Curtis Lightly patted Luna's hand and walked back to check up on Slity. He didn't break anything so that was good. Curtis was guessing he just hit his wing and bruised it. He frowned abit noticing he was the only one not having any inguries, Curtis shook it off. He should be happy that he was ok and didn't bruise anything. Curtis examined Slity's wing abit more, It only needed about a day's rest. Curtis walked back to Luna and sat down beside her putting an arm around her avoiding any bruises. "We should be good by tommorow." It seemed like it was already the afternoon, It didn't feel like it but when the clouds started to clear out from the area the sun was much past the half way mark in the sky above them.
Curtis wasn't sure what to do right now. Slity was asleep resting up so he didn't need to worry about him until mabye he woke up. Luna didn't seem to be in much pain either, He closed his eyes and started to think for abit before opening them and looking at Luna. He lightly kissed her on the cheek " Im glad your ok.. For the most part atleast" Curtis laughed abit to himself smiling at Luna. He lightly rubbed Luna's hand with his free hand and looked around. "Ever seen this place?"

Luna hesitated when he asked that. She wasn't sure. It seemed like she knew this place, almost from a distance, like in a past life or something. There was a gnawing in the back of her mind which made her feel like she should know where she was, yet she didn't. She looked around the area, at the roof of the overhang, she looked outside the little place and saw a few things out there that again, seemed strangely farmiliar. But she knew she had never been here! She squinted she eyes for a second before looking back at Curtis. " I'm-I'm not sure Curtis..." she said finally. She pushed her damp hair behind her ear. She layed the hand that Curtis wasnt touching on her stomach, the pain on the bruising wasn't as bad anymore, but it still hurt her. " well, if were going to spend the night we should probably Take a look around. You know, get our bearings see if there is a village." Luna said. She rose to her feet and Curtis followed her lead. They walked out of the cave side by side. Luna looked around outside of the covering. Now the feeling that she knew where she was was making her crazy. Because she knew she didn't. She had never been here.
Curtis and Luna walked on. They went through some hills and a small copse of trees in a portion of a larger forest. They saw a little pond and a lot of large rock formations. Luna started to become uneasy, she had no idea why, it was just a gut feeling. Her eyes darted around. Soon a large village started to be seen in the distance and Lunas eyes grew wide. Her breath grew shallow and she took a quick look at Curtis before running towards the village. She sprinted until she reached the crest of a hill overlooking the village. Luna stared trembleing violently as she looked over the town. She knew this place all too well. She put her hand on her side where her branding was and rubbed it. A few tears welled in her eyes. She wanted to run as far away as she could but all she did was stand and stare. Stare at the village where she was born and raised. Where her father- he horrible dragon-killing father lived. She had ran away from here and never wanted to come back. It was hysteria. "no no no no. It-it-it can't be. They can't take me!!!" Luna shook with fear and anger. Her eyes wide and staring, her hand clutching her side. Her heart thumped against her chest and a tear ran down her cheek. "no." was all she managed to say before she felt herself fall and her vision go black.

Curtis looked over at Luna black out. His eyes widen and he walked over to her and checked her. She had blacked out. Curtis slid his hands under Luna and lifted her up, He looked around for an area to place her. He started to go over it in his head, He had seen what Luna did before she blacked out. Was this Hysteria? The very place were dragons were killed on sight? The place where Luna had come from. That her father controlled? It seemed like a reality now and Curtis started to walk over to a small tree. He placed Luna down up against the tree and sat there infront of her waiting. He didn't know how long it would take for Luna to come too, Mabye afew minutes, Mabye thirty minutes, mabye even an hour though it seemed un-real. People who Blacked out weren't out for long.
Curtis had waited and about fifteen minutes later he saw Luna's eyes start to open, Curtis looked at her. "You ok?" Curtis waited for a response. After Luna was fully to Curtis looked into her eyes and brought his face a little closer to hers. "Luna, Is this Hysteria.." Curtis said with a concerned tone.

Lunas eyes opened and Curtis was there. Luna responded in a dazed state to Curtis, she wasn't sure what she said. Then she remembered where she was. Hysteria. She was awake all the way now. And she wanted to get away from here. Now. Curtis came close to her and asked her if they were on hysteria. Luna responded with a wild look in her eyes, like a cornered mouse. "yes. Yes this is hysteria. We have to go. I can't be near the village! They'll take me! They can't take me, Curtis. They can't take me from you!" she said urgently. She started speaking again " if they find me, they'll take me away. If they find slity, they'll kill him. If they find me with slity, they'll kill me. If they find you with me or slity, they'll kill you. They have no mercy, Curtis! We have to stay away." a tear rolled down her face as she thought of loosing Curtis and being forced to stay here. She reached forward and took Curtis and clutched him tightly. She shook with fear. " I can't loose you." she said as she trembled and held him.

Curtis closed his eyes and let out a small sigh, Luna was right they needed to get away and hide for the night. If they did find them it wasn't going to be good. "I can't loose you either" Curtis said in a light tone, He help Luna up and onto her feet. He looked around. Luna probably knew this island alot better then he did. But she didn't seem to be in the greatest shape right now to direct them where to go. Slity watched them and followed, Curtis just knew they needed to hide. That ment Find a place on the opposite side of the village, and somewhere people wouldn't go to.
Curtis started to walk to the opposite side of the island with Luna and Slity behind him. It didn't take too long until they were there, Curtis looked around and saw a small cave. "Over there." Curtis made his way over to the cave, It was small, Warm. Cozy in one word if you wish to put it like that. Curtis sat down against the cave wall and looked around. "Stay here for the night. Wait it out until morning when were able to take off again." Curtis cursed under his breath, If it wasn't for that storm they wouldn't of ended up here and Luna probably wouldn't be freaking out. Slity walked into the cave and layed down falling asleep again. "How are you doing Luna." Curtis looked over at Luna.

Curtis had brought Luna to a small cave away from the town where they could spend the night. Luna tried to keep herself together. She knew Curtis wouldn't let anything happen to her. This was only for one night, they would be fine. She wrung her hands and stared with wide eyes into space. She sat there like that for awhile, still trembling. Curtis came over to check on her. She tried to relax, but it wasn't working very well. She needed thyme leaves, they helped with shock. Unfortunately thyme didn't grow on hysteria. She took deep breaths, she felt like a fool in front of Curtis like this. She let go of her hands and blinked her eyes and stopped staring. She couldn't stop shaking though. She gulped and looked at him. " I'm going to be fine. I just need to settle down." Luna said, taking deep breaths. She finally was calm enough to just sit. She was only trembling. Softly. luna looked around the little cave they were in. She released knew this place all too well. This was where she had come when she coulnt sleep. She used to have her ears boxed when she wouldn't stop her unceasing crying, no one had believed her when she said she couldn't control it. Luna took his hand gently. She wasnt sure if she felt safe or uneasy being in this cave. The memories it brought back were bad, but this had been a place of refuge for her. She looked over at Curtis and started talking " I'm sorry about that. I just never ever wanted to be back here and it's just really scary to be back. You have no idea what the people here are like. They are just plain cruel. I'm ashamed to be one of them. she pulled her legs up and set her arms on her knees. She glanced over at slity. Having him here was really dangerous. If they were found at this moment all three of them would be killed on the spot. Luna forced herself to stop thinking those things and let her legs fall to the side before scooting over right next to Curtis and leaning on him. At least she had one thing that stayed constant- him. She breathed in and tried not to stress over things. She knew they were going to be okay. She hoped. She looked at Curtis and waited for him to do something.

Curtis sat down beside Luna and had listened to her, He understood why Luna didn't want to be back at a place like this. Curtis put his arm around her and gently rubbed her shoulder as he looked around the cave. The sun was down and the moon was coming over head now. The moons light reflected off the surface of the water outside of the cave and lit the cave up enough it see. The moon was fairly bright today. You could walk through a forest and still have light coming through the tree cover, You would be able to see those smaller things like leaves, pebbles, sticks that would usally be shadows in the dark of the night and sometimes even look like their not there.
Curtis looked over at Slity, He slept soundly not letting off one noise the entire time. He moved every now and then adjusting himself but that was just about all Slity did this night. Curtis looked at Luna, She had settled down now. He knew that this place brought back alot of bad, un easy memories to her, Understanable. But this was only for one night and then they would be go asoon as the sun was up, Pretty simple plan and easy to follow by. Curtis started to feel sleepy, If they wanted to get up first thing in the morning they would have to go to sleep now better then later. Curtis looked over at Luna, "Alright. You should probably get some sleep. If were going to get up in the morning better sleep now." Curtis hugged Luna between his hand on her shoulder and his body. "Just Sleep alright?" Curtis tried to make Luna feel more comfortable.

Luna heard Curtis tell her to sleep. As much as Luna appreciated it, she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. From both uncontrollable sleeplessness and unwant to. She wasnt sure she felt safe sleeping here. But she would lay down and try to rest for curtis' sake. She knew he needed to sleep and he would relax more if he knew she was taken care of. So she rose to her feet and walked across the cave and layed down with her face to the wall. She wanted to give Curtis some space, and if she had a crying fit and they were close, he would wake up, and he seemed really tired so she wanted him to sleep. She put her hands under her head, trying to be a little more comfortable. She shifted her legs around legs around a little. She looked over her shoulder after a few minutes and saw Curtis on the other side of the cave, laying down watching her. She was restless. She tried to stay still so Curtis would think she had dozed off. But it was hard. She closed her eyes and made an attempt to sleep. And for some strange reason, sleep found her.
Luna opened her eyes. She was in the cave. She heard noises out side. She froze. People. After a few seconds some large men stomped inside. Luna didn't move, but they saw her. They gaped for a moment at her. She knew that they recognized her. She tried to struggle out of their grasp as they grabbed her. She screamed, waking Curtis. Then she recognized whO had grabbed her. It was her father. She froze. One of them grabbed Curtis and Luna yelled out. The eyes of the men fell on slity and they began yelling at Luna and Curtis. One of them took out a sword and went after slity, the injured wing must have Imparex his movement because the man slayed him easily. Luna and Curtis screamed, unable to move. Luna looked at Curtis with a wild, scared look in her eyes. The same man who had gone after slity then moved towards Curtis. Luna screamed loudly in protest and tried to struggle out of her fathers grasp. Impossible. They held Curtis down and drove the sword into him. Luna wailed like never before.
Eyes snapped open, terror stricken. She was in the cave. She looked around. She prayed it had been a dream as she darted over to Curtis. She layed her hands on him and found him alive. She started crying. Not uncontrollable, inunderstandable tears. Genuine tears of fear. She had probably woken up Curtis now. She felt bad that she had woken him but at the same time she was glad. She needed to see him, to touch him, to hear him. That had been the worst dream ever. " Curtis?!" she said, her hand on him. Her body shook as she layed down next to him and put herself right up against Curtis, her face close to his, waiting for his eyes to open from sleeping.

Curtis Felt Luna's hand on him in his sleep, He slowly opened his eyes and looked over at Luna. His face turned into a more concerned look. "You ok?" Curtis sat up and looked at Luna, He lightly Hugged her and looked around. The air was fresh, It was cool. Even though the sun wasn't up yet Curtis knew that it was almost morning and that they could leave. This would make Luna feel alot more safe and Curtis knew it. He got up onto his feet and stretched abit, He went over and tapped Slity on the head. He woke up and looked around with sleepy eyes and then sniffed the air and let out a happy noise. His wing felt a whole lot better and would be able to fly now.
Curtis walked outside of the cave and took a look around, He looked back at Lnua and Slity. "Alright, Come on." Curtis started to make his way down and through the forest with the other two behind him. They needed to get to a beach so Curtis could get an idea on where to go. They had made it to the sandy shores of Hysteria, The last area that they were going to be until they took off. Curtis checked around, It was a bright day out. Not a cloud in the sky. Slity sat there ready to go, Curtis looked back at Luna and looked over to Slity. "Ok, Get on." Curtis walked over and helped Luna onto Slity. He hopped onto Slity after Luna was good, He looked around. He heard somthing, He looked behind them and saw afew people. " Alright Gotta go. Now" Slity started to make his way across the beach to take off. Curtis looked back and noticed that the people were now coming at them. "Yea.. Slity anytime" Slity Shook his head and jumped into the air flapping his wings, It took him afew seconds before he started to fly smoothly. "That was close?"
After about an hour or less of flying they saw an island come up, Curtis smiled and rested his head on Slity's head. "Ah Berk, How you never fail to make me happy to see." Curtis looked back at Luna. "Hopefully we didn't trigger anything back there on Hysteria." Slity flew down towards the clearing in the trees and landed infront of his home. "Were here." Curtis smiled and hopped off before helping Luna down. "One moment" Curtis walked over and opened the door to his home and go jumped at by Silvia, He fell back onto the ground. "Well Hello you." Curtis laughed looking at Silvia ontop of himself.

Luna smiled a little to see Silvia. She reached down and stroked her. The baby dragon's scales had almost a soft quality to them. Luna was just glad to be back on berk. What she had gone through in the past 24 hours had been a living nightmare for her. She gave Curtis a hand and he took it and got to his feet again. Luna needed to get back to town, it wasn't good for her to leave like that without telling someone. And she was really hungry and she needed to check on snip and snatcher who were proably worried wondering where she was. The bruises on her stomah were already clearing up. " well, curtis. I need to get going and you proably have tO do too. she smiled. " thanks for saving me. Bye, Curtis." Luna turned and set a fast pace though the forest towards the village to go home.
