Luna flinched when she felt someone pull her blanket off her. She opened her eyes and saw Curtis standing over her, holding her blanket. She was still crying incessantly. She wondered what on earth Curtis was doing. Proabaly coming to tell her he was leaving her- forever. She wouldn't have been surprised if her were to yell at her and shake her and tell her off for her seemingly affectionate action towards Sven- in fact, she expected it. She expected him to leave to life today and never come back. He didnt even know Sven before today. She put her head back where she had had it. She stayed still as she waited for the shouting or for Curtis to strike her. She had seen the way he had stared at her as she fled from the room. He had been angry. Angry at her. For all he knew, Sven and her could have been doing that since before he even arrived on berk. When Curtis didn't take physical action on her or shout at her, she was confused. What was he waiting for? She wasn't going anywhere. She felt a hand touch her wet cheek. Luna opened her drowning eyes and saw Curtis doing something he had done many times before. He was drying her tears. He wiped up the sorrowful salty drops with the sleeve of his coat. Why? She didn't deserve it. She deserved to be deserted and left to live alone. Even after he had just watched her make out with a complete stranger, he was still there to pick up her peices and put them together.
Luna was still sobbing when He asked her to sit up. For some reason she did. She uncurled from her tight fetal position and crossed her legs and sat up. She put her elbows on het knees and her face in her hands. Now she would get it. She looked down at her bare feet and waited for the yelling, the interrogation, the anger. It never came. Instead he sat down with her on her straw-filled matress atop her bed and put his arm around her and rubbed her shoulder as she continued to let her tears fall. He talked quietly to to her and tries to calm her like he always did. He wiped off her other cheek. It didn't help much, they were still soaking wet. She was confused. Why was he still here? "what are you doing? Why arent you yelling? Why aren't you angry? Why aren't you hurting me? You could. It's what I deserve!!!" Luna burst out. She didn't understand how he could sit there and try to make her feel better after what he had just witnessed her doing. He probably couldn't understand her blabbering anyway. Luna used her shirt to try and dry her eyes, but as soon as she could stop crying for a couple seconds, a new wave of tears would form and crash over her. Between sobs she would try and say things to Curtis, who listened to her as she tried to speak audibly through the storm of tears " I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry, im so sorry, Curtis. I'm so sorry... You don't have to forgive me, but I'm sorry she tried to look at him, but her glanced over and saw his eyes trained on her, still looking at her like he always had. She picked up her blanket off the floor and pressed her face into the folds and sobbed into it.

Curtis shook his head abit when Luna bursted out, He waited until she was finished talking so he could then speak again. "What am I doing? Im calming you down." Curtis stopped for a moment. "Why am I not yelling? Becuase I don't need to." He stopped again and looked around before talking again. "Why Am I not Angry? Becuase I know it was a Mistake. Why am I not hurting you? Becuase There's no need." Curtis stopped again and looked at Luna. "And No, It's not what you deserve, Otherwise I would know." Curtis sat there and let Luna cry abit and seeing if she was going to say anything back, He continued speaking to her gently. "I know your Sorry.. And I do forgive you Luna." Everything he was saying was true, Of corse it was he wouldn't be saying it if it wasn't true. He moved the blanket off her face and looked at her. "Luna.. I love you." He wiped her face off again. Curtis shook his head abit, "Look, I've only gotten like and hour of sleep in the past twenty-four hours. Silvia Kept me up all night and it was my stupid descison to come here and then freak out like that. Im the one that should be saying sorry Luna."

Meanwhile, Sven was attending to the dragons. Witnessing the ordeal, the dragons themselves also felt partly to blame. He sat on the floor in front of the dragons, studying a medicine book to find a suitable cure for the two dragons.
"Oh dude, I think we pushed it too far, mate." Said the Nadder to the Gronckle, as Sven was flicking through pages interestedly. "Damn, I totally agree." The Gronckle said, sullen, as if he didn't want to stop but knew he had to. The dragon's attention diverted to the little Terror, who had clambered up Sven's shoulder. "Hey, little guy, I'm sorry a'ight?" The terror ignored him, which he took as the little dragon forgiving him.
Sven looked up. "Well, it looks like you've resolved your troubles, by that I'm glad." He then craned his neck slightly to look at the curtain. "I just hope those two resolve theirs."
Whilst waiting - aside from making specific medicines and applying them, much to the dragon's appreciation- Sven also took out his notebook and asked all three dragons questions concerning their species. He was quickly on friendly terms with them through his studies.

As Curtis spoke to Luna and assured her of his affections, her wailing resided and she closed her eyes. She was still teary-eyed, but the salty drops rolled lazily and silently down her face. Luna was quiet for a long time, she didn't move or speak, she sat there. And for some reason she felt strangely forlorn, despite curtis' comforting words and prescence and sincere reassurance. With Her silvery eyes hidden behind her eyelids, she reached out and lightly took one of curtis' hands and set it in her lap and gently ran her fingers over it, feeling the rough creases on his palm. Her smaller hand lifted his larger one to her face. She set his fingers to her wet face, dampening his fingertips slightly and then pressing his palm against her cheek. She cradled the hand in her own two as she Opened her eyes quickly to glance up at him while she let him slide his hand away from her fingers. She closed her eyes again and remained deathly quiet, the room seeming to echo with the sound of silence as the two sat in it.
Luna finally opened her wet, silvery eyes and looked at Curtis. She wiped the tears out of her eyes and off her face, dampening her shirt sleeve. The silent tears still came though, unwilling to cease their mournful cycle within Luna. She sighed and quietly uttered " well I suppose you'd like a proper explanation..." her voice wavered. She took a deep breath and in a barely audible voice began to explain "it was an accident. I-I thought he was you. I would never have done that purposefully. I don't love him. I...i love YOU, Curtis. I don't think I'm capable of loving anyone more than you. I've only seen Sven once before today, I swear it...I'm sorry." Lunas voice cracked as she did her best to quickly explain her actions to Curtis. Luna bit her lip and she lowered her eyes before closing them again, her eyes still shedding tears. Her voice threatened to began wailing again. Luna was so incredibly distraught by this whole experience, it was rather overwhelming. But Luna subdued her emotions and resisted the instinct to start wailing again. She sat silently. Eyes closed, face lowered, tounge and mouth still, as the warm droplets Slid slowly down her sullen face.

Curtis listened to Luna speak as she told him what happened. It had been basically what Sven had said. He lightly grabbed Luna's hand and looked at her face with a gental look. "Alright." He wiped Luna's cheeks off once more. Curtis sighed abit, "Yea, As I said Im not in the best of moods. I don't know why I came here if I knew I was going to make myself look like an idiot." He closed his eye's for a moment, He was pretty tired. He shouldn't stick around much longer if he wanted to get some proper sleep anytime soon. It would be nice if he did get some sleep that he hasn't gotten latley, he wouldn't be in a mood as much as he ust was like ten minutes ago. Curtis got up and looked at Luna, "I should probably get going, I don't want to fall asleep here." He walked infront of Luna and knelt down and looked at her face. Curtis leaned over and kissed Luna for a couple of seconds before pulling back and looking at her. "Good luck with the dragon." Curtis patted Luna's leg and stood up, "Ill see you later." He left the room and looked over at Sven, "Cya Sven." He left the home and started to make his back to his home.
It didn't take long until he got back home, He walked in the door and shut it quietly. Slity was awake and looking at Silvia sleeping, Curtis walked over and knelt down to Slity. "Mind keeping her quiet so I can get some sleep Bud?" Slity nodded his head slightly and let out a small noise in agreement. Slity lifted his head up and licked Curtis' face. Curtis laughed quietly to himself, "Thanks." He wiped his face off and walked over to his bed falling asleep again.

Finishing his duties, which was to lighten the workload of Luna, Sven was behind the counter brewing a special tea. It was an infusion of dried lemonbalm which had soothing and relaxing properties.
Curtis briskly made his exit - Sven raised a hand as he left. "See you soon!". That must have meant the Curtis achieved in making Luna feel somewhat better. Good thing too, the tea was almost ready.
Pouring the liquid into two cups, he approached where Curtis had come from, assuming to be the bedroom of Luna's. Being a man of manners, he knocked at the door before entering.
"Hey there Luna!" He said in a calm tone, acting as if nothing had happened between the two to somewhat reassure her. She was still in bed and red eyes showed signs of heavy downpours. "How are you doing? I made you some tea; it's not the same as where I'm from, but in my homeland, tea is a cure for everything."
He set a mug down by her beside table, then remained standing, taking in the citrus smell of the lemonbalm. "I've managed to calm the dragons down, they shouldnt bother you as bad as they did before. I've also taken the liberty of cleaning the dragon's room and the lobby. I hope it takes a lot off your mind.

Luna took the cup from sven's hands and sniffed the hot liquid. It smelled citrusy and good. She took a sip. She let some of her hair fall in her eyes. She was pretty embarrassed about what she had done. She was ashamed of herself and her brash actions. She tried to look up at him, but she couldn't. She probably looked like a a lazy and dumb, still sitting in her bed. Despite sven's amaible additude and Kind gesture, she knew she would never be able to look at him the same way again. She also felt kind of uncomfortable alone with him now. Especially with out Curtis. It wasn't that she didn't trust Sven, she did trust him, but she still wasn't sure how Curtis felt about him. She assumed the two had rationally made amends, what with Sven still being here in one piece. She had been sure Curtis was going to rip him shreds, the look he had given her before she left and been murderous- if looks could kill, that one would have done it. Luna thought Curtis would throw him out with a few cuts and bruises for a reminder not to mess around with her. She was glad he hadn't- as humiliated ad she felt right now, she hoped to get to know Sven better. He was a good person and he had alot of knowledge of dragons, perhaps he would share that knowledge with her someday.
Luna stared into the cup of tea in her hands. Watching the liquid steam and ripple. She took another sip, it was very good. She took a cautious glance up at Sven who was still standing a few feet in front of her. Her eyes dropped down to te gold bracelet on her wrist. She twirled it around her wrist a few times and stopped it so she could see the two stones set in it, one black, one white. She treasured this bracelet and always wore it. It had been a gift from Curtis.
Luna wasnt sure what to do or say, the two sat in awkward silence for a few moments before Luna took a shuddery breath in and moistened her lips. "um...Sven? That um...that was an accident. I didn't mean to kiss you. I thought you were Curtis, and if you haven't figured out by now, we are together. I'm really sorry I did that to you." Luna spoke slowly and quietly, trying to remain composed. The last thing she needed was Sven seeing her crying. She took another sip of the tea as she waited for him to say something.

Sven grinned at himself briefly as Luna accepted the offer of tea. His grin turned once more into a comforting smile, sitting on the end of the bed to share the tea. Sven could read Luna like a book right now - covering her eyes with her hair, she was still embarrassed about what had happened. He blowed the top of the cup, wafting a small puff of steam into his face, along with it's aromas. Sven then took a sip.
"It's nice, isn't it? I've only heard of using lemonbalm as tea, never brewed it personally. It is actually quite delicious."
He looked up from his warming hands as Luna began to speak. He gave her the time to speak, watching as she tried to stay calm in front of him, as if not wanting to make a bad impression. The poor girl went through something no one should have to go through, and he would do what he could to make her feel comfortable.
"Don't fret too much about it, Luna." Sven started once Luna had said what she had to say. "It's fine, everyone makes mistakes, some good, some bad. No tragic consequences happened, right? Curtis hasn't left you because of this, I hope?" That was what he assumed, anyway. Whilst he was working, he heard no shouts of anger from Luna's bedroom. "In fact, I think this event will strengthen your relation. Forgiving each other no matter the gravity of the situation is a good sign."
He knew that right now that Sven was an uneasy symbol of what had occurred, and draining the last droplets of tea, he stood up to make his leave. "I hope I've made things a little easier on you now work-wise. There will be less stuff for you to get on with, so relax, you deserve it. I'm going to leave now, I think you need time for yourself, right?" He expected Luna to let him go, but if she needed company then he was happy to oblige.

"no, curtis hasnt given me any indication that he will be leaving me. I know i deserve to be let go. Hes just so....wonderful." the last words luna said were said rather wistfully, she was still shocked he hadnt droped her on the spot. As Sven continued Luna shook her head. " no Sven. I can't thank you enough. You can go now, I'll manage from here." Luna said as she sipped the last of the delicious tea and stood up. She looked towards her curtain separating her bedroom from the big main room. Sven had left it open and Luna could see even from here that Sven had done a good job tidying up. She also wondered why he had bestowed such a favor on her, considering what had happened. Luna smiled as she took sven's empty cup. She led him back into the large room and set the dirtly glasses on the counter before turning around Amd showing Sven to the door. "look Sven, I'm so sorry, but I hope we can still be friends." she said before swinging the door open. When Sven nodded Luna smiled, that was good. Sven stepped out the door. "bye Sven!" she said after him before he melted into the people in the streets of berk.
