Sven nodded in comprehension of Luna's words. It was obvious that Hermes' wounds was not an overnight fix. He sighed deeply. He couldn't bear the thought of leaving this dragon's sides, especially if something were to happen... Well, the risk was less now Hermes was at Luna's, but the risk was still there and overshadowing him. Also, Sven had no place to stay, relying on the company of a dragon for survival. Without a dragon he wouldn't probably last the night outside in the forest.
But then Luna said something that brought him back to his senses. She was allowing him to stay here! She had barely finished the sentence when Sven brought her into a big hug. He didn't think about the last time he was in here and the awkward situation that had happened - but this was different. This little offer meant so much to the man who felt he was on the verge of losing yet another close friend. Holding her close a little longer, head buried in her shoulder, Sven let out a muffled 'Thank you', before releasing her.
Sven blushed a little when he saw tear marks on Luna's shoulder, and proceeded to wipe away those remaining tears with the sleeve of his jacket. A sort of happiness was developing inside him, and it was pushing away all those little doubts. He returned to patting Hermes' head again, soothingly.
As the last of the ointments and pastes were applied, effects of the medicines were slowly taking their toll. Hermes heard Luna ask if she was ok. Shifting her weight a little, groaning a little in pain and a shudder of smarting muscles, she opened up a crystal blue eye once more to look at the dragon healer.
"Stings like hell, but better..." She rasped, slowly drifting to sleep. "Thankssss..."
And just like that, Hermes had drifted to sleep, hopefully feeling much better when she wakes up.

Kenna smiled slightly at the two of them, it was good to know that the two of them were now safe now. That Hermes should be back up in a few days and that Sven would have somewhere to stay while she was healing. Had Kenna reacted to the thought a few seconds faster, she’d have offered her place herself.
“Come over once Hermes is well again, I’ll want to hear that the two of you are alright.” She smiled at the three of them, the sleeping dragon and the relieved humans, and then made her exit.
As she slowly walked down the path back to her house, her mind started to think back. The injuries weren’t the kind you’d get from a crash. Well, some were, the broken bones and such, but the covering injuries, they’d been caused by acid. The amount of damage could only be caused by a dragon attack.
There were only types of dragons she knew of that could breathe acid, and she only knew of one of each type. Bodi, Aiden’s dragon was one, but why would Aiden’s dragon do something like that to Hermes. He was to like Fenrir for her to believe that he would have done that.
Nightrode was the other dragon that could do it...and she could believe that much more, he was very aggressive, and could quite understandably do something like this if he snapped. She sighed, what happened today while we were away?
Kenna got to the door of her house and opened the door. Before she even got into the house, Fenrir ran at her from the other side of the room and sent her fling back out and too the floor. She shrieked slightly in surprise and then giggled afterwards. She stroked her dragon as she got up, while holding him, and wakling into the her house and closed the door.
“How are you?” she asked in her attempt of dragonesse, which she could tell by the dragon’s look that she’d got it wrong, as she walked round to the back so that she could go and get the ores from the cart, where Mr Pickles had left there for her like she’d asked.
(OOC: Count Kenna as out of this thread from now on fully, since she’ll be busy doing work with Aiden. Having said that, I have a feeling you two will be rounding off soon anyway.)

Luna flinched a little when Sven reached for her and folded her firmly in his arms in embrace. At first she wasn't quite sure what to do so she just sat there stiffly for a few moments as he hugged her tightly. But after a second she reached and arm around his back in attemp to comfort him. His face was buried In her shoulder and she felt droplets touch her skin as they soaked through her shirt onto her skin aNd he murmured gratitude to her. She nodded and assured him his dragon would be fine. After a few more seconds of holding on to her he pulled his bOdy away from her own smaller frame. She gave him an assuring smile as he wiped away a few stray tears on his face. Honestly, Luna wasn't too sure about this. Curtis most likely would not readily accomadate the idea of another man living with her for a few days, especially because he didn't know Sven very well. But Luna was pretty much okay with it, Sven knew to keep his distance, he wasn't stupid he'd learned not to mess with her. Besides, he was obviously in desperate need of housing for the time being and Luna didn't mind providing it for him.
Luna looked up at Kenna as she rose to her feet and explained that she would be taking her leave. Luna bid the blacksmith farewell as she let herself out before returning her attention to the task at hand. Directing her eyes and ears back to Hermes.
Luna smiled as the great beast fell asleep before her just after relying to the dragon healer's quEstion. The dragon would sleep for a good while, that was good because it would give her body time to start recuperating. Hermes was undoubtably exhausted from trauma and injuries alike, but Luna knew she would be good as new in time.
Luna glanced up and looked out the small window set In the front of the structure. She realized it was alot later than she had previously assumed. She sighed Amd spoke to Sven "better make yourself at home, you're going to be here for awhile. When your ready you can sleep in the main room, or in here. I'll gather you some blankets soon but right now I'm going to heat up something for us to eat. your welcome to do whatever you like." She said and rose to her feet and maneuvered herself around the sleeping dragon, herb vessels balanced precariously atop one another in her hand. Once she came into her main room she cleaned up the mess she had made from preparing remedies for Hermes. She cleaned off her mortars and pestles before placing everything in it's proper place.
After she tidied her counter, she began to prpare a small meal for her and Sven. He was proabaly very hungry and she felt bad that she didn't have much to offer him. She heated some broth over the fire in the hearth and added carrots, peas and potatoes from her garden around back. She added some herbs that could be used for flavoring food to it to add some taste. At the moment she didnt have any meat to put in it because it was so expensive she couldn't offord it very often. She got a daily ration of fish to feed ailing dragons from the village but often didnt have much for herself. She stirred the thin soup and checked to assure it was heated before pouring some into eating bowls for she and Sven. She set the vessels of broth and veggies on the counter and cut each a thick slice of dense brown bread. She took of the soup and the bread and brought it to Sven. As she presented him with the meager meal she said "Sorry it's not much...I don't have much" and settled down next to him to consume her own food. She brought her bowl to her lips and sipped the warm soup ad she waited for her guest to say something.

Sven nodded at Kenna's proposal, agreeing on seeing Kenna as soon as Hermes was fit to leave Luna's care. As soon as Kenna had left, Luna started speaking about a meal. From all the drama and stress that had hit the man, he clutched his stomach, realising how hungry he was.
He let Luna go make some sort of meal - since the incident, and now affairs were sorted out, the alone time with Hermes was just what he needed. Sitting himself next to Hermes' head, he scratched the top of it, trying not to gash all his fingers on the unusually uneven surface.
"You're a brave girl. I don't think I could cope with anything like this." He murmured, his hand running over her snout, forehead and crest. Hermes was in such a sleepy state she didn't even react to Sven's caressings. He stopped quickly enough though - the dragon did need rest, after all.
Several moments passed, and Luna re-entered the room with some sliced bread and a bowl of soup. She apologised that it wasn't much, and once Sven had accepted the offer and place the bowl precariously on his lap, he smiled.
"I'm a travelling dragonologist, Luna." He started, breaking one of the slices of bread and dipping it in the broth. "I'm used to eating lightly, I don't think Hermes could fly with lots of extra food supplies other than myself." The bread was now very soggy and was about to fall into the soup, when Sven caught the dripping bread in his mouth. It was a very good meal in Sven's opinion - he was slowly getting bored of dried, salted or smoked meats and fish.
"This is a very nice soup. What herbs did you use?" Sven asked. He only knew a few obvious ones that were grown in his homeland - rosemary, thyme, sage, etc... but he could taste and smell different aromas too, senses he wasn't totally familiar with.

Luna replied quietly to Sven saying "basil, rosemary and salt". She watched as he ate, she was glad he seemed to like it. She hoped to make him feel comfortable. She didn't often have over-night guests other than the random nights Curtis sometimes spent there with her. And she didn't often have company either. Sure they were people here everyday with their dragons, but that was for buisness rather than For visits. After she ate she would bring Sven some blankets and stuff to sleep. He was most certainly tired. It had been a long day for him, she could tell just by looking at his face. Luna chewed a soft potato in her mouth as she contemplated. She wasn't sure how she herself was going to fare sleep-wise. Her insomnia had been on and off latley. Some nights she would sleep fine, but on the nights where she was having difficulty the intensity seemed to be escalating. Considering Sven was going to be here for a few days, she was going to have to work hard to suppress her crying fits so he didn't think she was weird or insane or creepy or something. Hopefully she could manage.
Luna finished her meal and realized Sven had done the same she took the bowl from him and carried it into the main room along with her own, promising to return in a moment before pushing past the curtain that separated this room from the other. She walked over and set the dirty bowls on the counter to clean later.
The sun had slipped below the horizon as they ate so Luna was going around the house Amd lighting candles to light the house. She brought a big lit candle to her guest who seemed to be communicating that he was going to stay in her healing room to be with his dragon. She handed him the candle That was set in the center of a little disc-shaped piece of pottery to hold it by. She promised to return again Amd went to fetch him some blankets. It was always chilly at night so she got him 3 thick, warm blankets. She carried the cumbersome items into the room where he was and set them down with him. "you know you don't have to stay in here. There's a fire in the other room, you'll be warmer." Luna said. She didn't want him being too cold, also she would proabaly come into this room in the middle of the night to check on her patient. She waited for a response.

Sven smiled gratefully as Luna re-entered the room with three huge thick blankets. She offered a place in front of the fire in the other room, to which Sven shook his head. "I want to stay with Hermes tonight; just in case." He turned to look at the sleeping beast, her form almost melting into the shadows around them, where the candlelight dissipated into the darkness. He hoped something wouldn't happen to the Ambassador dragon during the night. When it was time for Luna to go to bed herself, he wished her a good night's rest, oblivious to her insomnia. Luckily, the night had gone without any problems. Hermes had slept deeply throughout the night into the next day, waking up groggily in the late afternoon. For the next couple of days, Hermes was in this way, mostly sleeping, waking up to eat. As the days went by, however, she spent more and more time awake. During this time, Sven was at first reluctant to leave Hermes' side; but after a few harsh words from the beast herself, he began to busy himself. He ran errands for Luna, replaced the dirty straw in the healing area with fresh, warm straw and mixing pastes and ointments in advance. He learnt a lot of things during his time, quickly picking up the names of herbs he didn't recognise and all their uses. He even dared to make a combination of his own to fix a Terrible Terror that had come in whilst Luna was out getting food. It had worked a treat, and the little thing was able to leave within the next hour. Though the medicine worked, flicking through a recipe book, it turned out his stroke of luck wasn't original, and the said medicine was in fact not original. As days progressed, Hermes grew perkier and more active. Obviously confined to the room, but eager to move around, she became much chattier than usual, often rolling around telling and re-telling of stories of her past, much to the annoyance of other patients who were trying to rest. Sven merely laughed at her exaggerations and often strange fictional twists she added to them. Also, her scales were growing back quickly enough - each day her rudders and wings looked fuller and broader, and the braces had to keep being replaced from all the rolling about and growth. Soon enough, her scales looked just as glossy and sleek as they always had done - all that they waited on now was for the broken limbs to heal. Sven took note of Hermes' healing process, noting on how scales were still able to grow over scarred tissue, adding the information to a pencil-free corner in one of the the five pages he had written on the dragon.
