Sven could hear a flapping in the distance. In the corner of his eye, he spotted a black figure not too far away. Diverting attention from his book, he saw a black coloured dragon approaching.
"Ah, that must be Hermes now." But as the figure grew closer, it was apparent in the perspective that this dragon was much bigger than Hermes. And it had purple wings. "Okay, I'll take that back." Sven frowned, his hopes bashed.
Before anything else could be said, curses in dragonese could be heard before the dragon crashed into the mountain, before rolling down the slopes past the group. Sven raised an eyebrow. Dragons don't usually crash into mountains on purpose. The beast was flying fine, it was in total control. He stood up, watching the dragon stop further down the hill.
Sven turned to Cataract. "Stay here and keep an eye on the two dragons. Make noise for the gronckle if necessary. I need to check this out." After that, he slipped down the hill after the dragon, that appeared to no longer be moving. Hermes had better come quickly. Now they had three dragons on their hands, and Sven was sure he didn't want more.
Standing before the great black beast, he noted the large wings and serpentine body. He folded his arms, contemplating the dragon's situation. It appeared unconscious.
Hermes looked incredulous. "You don't like heights. Okay." She had this sort of thing with Sven, though he wasn't afraid of heights, it was more of the sense of feeling insecure and falling off the dragon's back that had frightened him the most. It was another of many reasons he asked for a saddle to be made.
"Come on then, we gotta go. I'll fly low if you say you're used to flying like that." Hermes left. She wasn't going to waste her time with a petty fear. She might not understand Luna's reasons, but Hermes had fears of her own, and she knew how to master them if they were present. Laying down so that Luna could mount Hermes, the dragon instructed Luna to hold onto the handle at the front, and place her feet in the stirrups. Seated, Hermes stood up again.
One Luna felt ready and comfortable being on the dragons back, she spread her vast wings, like rows upon rows of blackened daggers. Without a word, she took off, remembering to keep low to the ground as possible. Heading towards the mountains, she hugged the sides of the hills, flying low through the valleys, over the low forests. After a few minutes of flying, they neared the location. Hugging the sides of the mountains she slowly began to ascend, keeping close to those ever so steep slopes.
Breaching over a ridge, Hermes spotted the gang. She noted there was a new, third dragon further down. Sven was with this new dragon, so Hermes quickly landed; an easy feat, being only a few metres from the ground.
"Okay Sven, what the hell's happening? You're becoming some sort of injured dragon magnet? I might as well just stay away from you until this ordeal is over. Anyways, I brought you Luna." Hermes laid herself down, allowing Luna to dismount. "I hope the trip wasn't too bad?"

As Storm began to regain consciousness, she smelt something new. Her eyes still fuzzy with the receding black wave, she didn't react at all at the smell of vikings and their tamed dragons. Her head was swirling with her roll down the mountain, unable to grab anything and hold onto it for long.
"Wha...?" She said in a confused tone. Her arm hurt like a rock fell onto it, and threw her fuzzy vision she could see her swelling arm, purple at the wrist. She couldn't remember what had just happened, and why she hurt so much.
As Storms vision began to return, she tried to move but that only came pain and discomfort. She couldn't move her swelled up arm, and her wings felt heavy. She stared at the two other dragons and a human male. Her purple eyes stared into the human's green ones. "Who are you?" She said to them, hoping one of them could understand her dragonese. She hoped that the two dragons would, or if they lost their native tongue after being bonded with their riders.
(Sorry this is short, I cant really think of anything else to say >.<)

Luna scrambled onto the black dragon's back with much reluctance, but fOr some reason it was Making her feel embarrassed- so she gave in. And Hermes had said she would fly low- that was good, right? And Hermes was a trustworthy dragon, so Luna somehow managed to convince herself that it would be fine. She did as the dragon instructed and climbing into the saddle and grasping the horn. Then without any warning, she shot off like a bullet out of the house and jumped directly up into the air once outside, leaping directly up into the air and soaring high in the sky. So much for flying low! They were speeding at breakneck speed at what seemed like miles up in the air. Lunas eyes grew wide and she shook in fear. They were SO high and going to fast. When she rode with Curtis and slity, they were accustomed to her and flew only a few feet from the ground, gliding slowly. This was insane, her stomach flipped and turned, her vision went blurry, tears trickled down her face from the absolute terror she was experiencing. Then the dragon began to ascend into the mountains and Luna got worse, but Hermes didn't seem to notice. The girl held on with all her might to Sven's saddle, gripping it for dear life. Nauseous and queasy Luna tried not to look down. She just hoped they would land soon.
Eventually the dragon finally touched down and the second hermes' feet were on the ground Luna slid off into a heap, extraordinarily discombobulated. She didn't even take notice of her surroundings, she just sobbed and promptly threw up all over the ground from the crazy flight. She then looked up realized sven was there and he was talking to Hermes, and there was an injured galewing splayed on the ground. She hadn't heard anything of what dragon and rider had said, but noticed them both stop and stare at her as she regurgitated from nausea and Luna realized she had just humiliated herself in front of them both. She looked back and forth from Sven to Hermes with her wet, red eyes as she crouched helplessly on the ground before them. She glanced around desperately, opening her mouth to say something, but all that came out was squeaks. She finally averted her eyes from them both as they continued to stare at her and let her hair fall in front of her eyes, hanging her head shamefully as she looked at her lap awkwardly, not sure what to do. Why did she always make such a fool of herself in front of him?

As Storm began to calm down, she watched as the human that just came off the tamed dragon regurgitate whatever she ate before flying. A deep rumbling noise sounded from deep inside her chest, making her body quiver with laughter. A small pinch at the edge of her mouth made it obvious she was amused by the poor girls flight. But she stopped when she saw that she was almost crying, her eyes red from either tears or the sting of the wind if it whips past your face. Storm actually began to feel bad for her, feeling the need to comfort her like a mother would to a child.
"Is she alright?" She asked the dragon that brought her, voice full of curiosity and worry. It was strange for her to act in this way, with feelings towards dragon riders and their tamed dragons. Storm rested her head on her good arm, sighing heavily as she glanced at her swollen one. She will probably be off it for a good week or two, not to mention how sore her wings will be after this. Her left wing was just slightly buried beneath the earth, feeling the pins and needles affect in it from being still so long. Her right one covered her scratched up stomach scales, some scratches and stabs from the rocks and leaves on her way down. Not to mention on how fuzzy her eyesight was after that dragon scratched her. She sighed again, stirring up the dust and watching it swirl around and dance in the rays of sunlight.
She glanced up at the sky, whimpering quietly to herself, watching birds fly through the air. Oh how she wanted to be with them, free and in her element. Flying was such a privilege to her.

Hermes wrinkled her nose as Luna threw up everywhere. At least she didn't do that during the ride over. Hermes snorted. Save for flying over the forests, she thought she hadn't flown *that* high. Hell, for the ascent she made sure to keep at least 2 feet from the slope in some places - a difficult feat when you want to flap those wings.
As soon as Luna was in a sick state, Sven rocketed from his kneeling position near the Galewing to Luna's side. "Luna! Are you okay?" He rubbed her back soothingly as Luna emptied her stomach onto the grass. Anyone knew that vomiting wasn't a pleasing feeling, so Sven did what he could to comfort her. He then snapped his vision onto Hermes, who was standing there blandly, with an expression as if to say 'not my fault'.
"She doesn't like heights." Hermes said as a valid excuse. Sven face palmed. Before he could scold her about her flying style she added, "I kept low. You can ask her." Hermes then turned around to face the valley below.
"And now I officially declare you cursed, Sven, for both humans and dragons, so I'm going to go. Bye."
As soon as she stretched out her black wings high into the air, preparing to leave, the Galewing spoke aloud: 'Is she alright?'. Folding her wings neatly again, and craning her neck around to meet the gaze of the larger dragon she gave a 'duh' look.
"I shouldn't have to repeat myself. She's afraid of flying." Hermes shook her head, still finding it hard to believe. Hermes then turned around and came up close to the Galewing, and spoke in a loud whisper, so that Sven would overhear on purpose. "I'd stay away from him - as soon as he looks at something it goes injured or sick."
Hermes was obviously joking - Sven knew this from being so long with the dragon. But what Sven didn't approve of was the telling of a supposed 'joke' to someone who wasn't really in the circle. But the Galewing appeared more concerned with flying. She was looking at some larks flying overhead, and whimpering.
Hermes' stopped joking and looked at her seriously. "Okay fine, if something's really wrong with you, then I better say that I didn't mean the human was cursed - just a series of tragic coincidences." Like Storm, Hermes also valued flight above anything else. She circled Storm once, and grunted. "I don't think you're gonna die. This anti-flying human girl is strangely a dragon healer. So I reckon you're safe. Don't worry yourself."
When Luna had finished her bout of nausea, Sven helped her back to her feet, like any gentleman would. "I suppose you know why Hermes brought you here." He started. "Well... Things have gotten a lot stranger since I sent her off. It all started with this injured Gronckle," Sven pointed up the hill, where Cataract could be seen. "Then Cataract's dragon got poisoned and now that's sick too, then all of a sudden this dragon crash-lands into the mountain." Sven frowned. "It's not going to be too much, is it?"

Cataract stared at the odd scene, in a state somewhere between amused and worried. Luna was here, she could probably sort out the whole mess... And yet he was still worried. There were three patients, two of them acting slightly bonkers due to some infection, and another that was having some serious difficulty flying. Cataract began to move over to help Luna when Eroy began to wander off. Rushing back in the opposite direction to help his dragon, Cataract momentarily forgot about all the other problems he would soon have to help deal with. He patted the top of Eroy's head. Eroy turned, and in an apparent realization of what he was dong, lied himself out along the flat, rocky surface and was asleep in seconds. This worried Cataract, but he didn't have anything he could do about it at the current moment aside from going over to help Luna.
"What do you..." he began in dragonese "I mean what do you need? Sorry, I've been talking to too many dragons lately."

Luna heard a voice speak to her amd felt a hand on her slouched back as she kneeled on the ground and looked over to see Sven rubbing her back with the palm of his hand in attempt to settle her, and strangely it did. Luna gulped, trying to get the unpleasant taste from her mouth and looked up at Sven and in reply to his urged question said feebly "I'll manage". Then she felt him take her and lift her to her feet. She looked into his eyes as he did so and felt a tug in her chest. Not an unfarmiliar feeling, but certainly not something she was used to or ever expected to feel around Sven. she stared at him in wonder for a minute before shoving the feeling deep into the darkenst depths down inside of her, feeling extraodinarily guilty for feeling like that towards him. Vowing to herself to forget those thoughts ever entered her mind.
Then everything seemed to happen very quickly. He gave her a good idea of what Had happened. Apparently since they had sent Hermes the problem had escalated from one dragon to three. She looked around seeing the gronckle, tigeress and galewing dragons in question and giving them a rapid once-over with her eyes. By the looks of it, all legitimately were in need of her Assistance. She wasn't sure what to start with. She woulnt have enough herbs to work with now, or all the right types for all the things she would need to do now for that matter. She saw Cateract, the resident dragonologist come forth from the vicinity of the Gronckle and the tigress, which Luna now recognized as his dragon, Eroy. He began to speak in dragonese but then switched to english, apologizing before asking what he could do. Luna replied in dragonese with a small smile "it's okay, I can speak it." before starting again in her native tongue "well I don't really know what to do...I don't know all these dragons' situations. But these are for the Gronckle." she said, pulling the herbs she had brought for the ailing dragon and holding it out for one of the two men to take. She summarized quickly to the one who took it how to administer eaxh plant that she had brought along and waited for him to go, trusting that his knowledge of dragons would aid him well enough in the basic healing. She turned to the one who remained saying "I need you to come with me to check out this Galewing and then get me some herbs." she walked off in the said direction, assuming the man would follow her . Luna didn't feel as sick any more, which was good because it looked like she really had her work cut out for her.
[[[OOC: Pime and RKB- you guys can decide what Cataract and Sven do. It doesn't matter to me who went and did what]]]

Storm still lay on her side, staring at the sky with longing. Today was a wonderful day to fly. Clean, fresh air and clear, blue skies. With her wing caught under her slim, black body, and the other draped over her her stomach, she was in a pretty comfortable position. Except for her forearm. It blazed with a fiery pain and stung like nestles.
Something caught her attention when Luna was speaking in Dragonese. She lifted her head up from the ground, spotting the young girl beside another injured dragon. Listening, Storm heard her talking to the others. She froze when she heard Luna say something about going to go check on this galewing. Storm knew it was her. She made a grumbling noise within her chest cavity, worrying about what might happen. Storm managed to pull her wing from under her, and pulling herself upright. Her eyesight turned fuzzy and whirled around inside her head. Staggering, she felt the blood rush back to her legs and regain feeling.
Storm stood, cradling her injured forearm by not letting it touch the ground, keeping it close to her body as possible. Her wings sagged on the ground, still numb and hurting horribly. She couldn't fly. She wouldn't fly. Not for awhile until her arm was healed. She couldn't land properly and cause even more damage.

Cataract soon arrived at their side, hoping for some instructions from Luna in this situation. Despite his dragon being ill, he appeared quite calm. Perhaps it was the assurance of Luna's presence? Sven did not know. Sven happily took the medicaments for the Gronckle, listening intently to the methods of applying the cream. Knowledge imparted, Sven went off back up the hill to where the Gronckle and Eroy laid.
All this time Hermes had been conversing with the Galewing, at first in mockery but then in compassion, sharing the value of flight. But Storm had appeared to be more interested in the fact that Luna could speak dragonese. Hermes cocked her head slightly in confusion. It was as if the dragon was wary of the humans but at the same time wanted to be healed.
"Okay, so you don't like humans." Hermes wandered her gaze over to the conversing humans, watching Sven climb up the slope with the medicines for the Gronckle. The Ambassador dragon shrugged her wings. Her species was apparently intended to facilitate relations between dragons and humans, so she was quite neutral on the matter. "But look at this way; I had to deal with this height-fearing healer just to get you and the other two guys all healed up and happy again, and if you don't let his humans heal you... well, you can go and kiss your arm goodbye, since it will probably get infected and fall off. But no pressure."
Sven had finally arrived at the Gronckle's side, and began to apply the oils and pastes as instructed. The Gronckle stirred in it's daze, but the dragon's insensitivity to pain was on the plus side for the scrawny male. If this beast woke up, it could probably snap up SVen in two bites. With this in mind, Sven worked quickly, but made sure everything was applied correctly. That done, he brushed himself down and looked over to the Tigris, Cataract's dragon.Eroy was asleep but the symtoms of the poison was very apparent.
Sven frowned, looking back down the hill. He doubted very much that Hermes would want to go scavenger hunting again.

Storm looked at Hermes and sighed. Laying down, she faced the Ambassador dragon and sighed again. "Look, I've been terrified of humans ever since I was small. And it's kinda hard to change that, even at a moment like this." She huffed, resting her head on her good, not sprained arm.
After around three minutes of silence, Storm felt like starting up a conversation, but she stopped that idea. She looked around at all the dragons here, one poisoned, one ill, and and the Tigris, she had no clue what was wrong with it. Then she looked at the 'healers' that were here. A young girl who Hermes had to carry on her back all the way here as she screamed. Storm could swear she heard it a mile away.
She shuffled her wings into a comfortable position, her thumb claw holding her upright. She cradled her sprained wrist close to her body, not wanting to let it touch the ground. Her vision shifted towards the sky again, sighing as she watched more larks fly overhead.

"Okay, Cateract, let's go" she said to the dragonologist after Sven had left with the herbs to treat the gronckle. She walked in a direction towards the downed Galewing. Luna looked at the dragon, she was a beautiful color- deep purple. She walked slowly, sensing the dragon's unease. Luna looked back to see if Cateract was following her, but before she could glance around, she heard the great dragon stirring. She rapidly Brought her vision back to the dragon in question. "no no no. Don't move- I'm not going to hurt you." she said soothingly to the dragon in dragonese. Then Luna remembered something. She reached into her bag and pulled out her knife. Sensing the dragon's unrest at the object and fully expecting such a reaction, Luna dropped it on the ground behind her as soon as she had lifted it. She looked meekly at the dragon, showing no threats. Luna scuttled forward slowly, not wanting the dragon to flee. Luckily by the time she reached her side, she hadn't.
The young dragon healer watched the large dragon watched her every move intently. It's eyes were trained on her. Luna approached with reverent caution, but she wasn't afraid. Luna wasn't usually afraid of dragons ever. Luna took the final step of her advance when she stopped just before the animal's snout. She knelt, not for a scecond taking her eyes off of the purple and black beast. She sank down and parted her feet so that her legs were folded on either side of her. Luna looked into it's orb-like eyes, almost surreal in size. Luna set her fingers gently on her snout, trying to show the dragon that she could trust her. "I'm here to help you" she whispered in dragonian tongue. She could tell this dragon didn't completely trust her.
Luna certainly didn't pose any threat to this dragon. A small human versus a very large dragon, even injured, was no contest. This thing could kill her now if it wanted to, Luna was defenseless. Luna just mumbled softly to the dragon, calming it- or attempting to. The dragon couldnt be healed if it didn't trust her. Luna closed her eyes and sat there quietly, sending peaceful and calming thoughts to the injured, untamed, unhappy dragon. Then her silver eyes opened and she stared into the huge purple ones that stared back at her. "you can trust me" she whispered to it, running her fingers across the scales on it's face, waiting for some kind of reaction.

Storm kept her eyes trained on the approaching girl. A low moan came from the back of her throat when she she was right beside her. Another stress filled hiss came when the human girl pulled out a knife. Her wings shuffled with unease at the little object. She knew it could do plenty of damage if she was cut in the most vulnerable spot on a dragon. Her wings. She would kill herself if she didn't have wings.
The humans next move surprised her. Luna had dropped the knife, then whispered to her in dragonese. "Im not going to hurt you." The young girl whispered to Storm. This surprised her. She calmed down immediately, following the girls every word.
She felt a warm hand rest on her muzzle, and silver eyes looking into her deep purple ones. She breathed out slowly, feeling a sudden sense of security. She never felt like this before near humans. It scared her somewhat. She is mostly terrified of humans, scared that they would tame her. But she started to change that view of tameness.

Cataract stood behind Luna, waiting to be told what to do. Like most people, he immediately deferred when someone confidently started dishing out orders. As Luna calmed the dragon, however, he began to worry. What was going on with Eroy? 'one thing at a time' he thought, but he couldn't help worry about his dragon. What if whatever was happening was lethal? What if Eroy only had a little time left? 'FOCUS!' screamed the logic part of his brain 'if you can find a way to be useful you'll get to make sure Eroy's okay sooner.' And with that Cataract's mind snapped back to the present moment. He saw that the dragon was now calm, and Luna pretty much had a handle on things... So why weren't they moving on to Eroy now!? The answer was obvious, and the logical part of Cataract's brain never ceased to critique the hypothetical outbursts of its emotional counterpart: 'Because the problem hasn't been fixed yet, and you know it's wrong to put the livelihood of any sentient creature over another. You said that yourself.' Having no response, Cataract sulked, and continued waiting for orders.
OOC: Apologies threefold.
#1 It's shorter than I'd like
#2 It took me forever to get this up (really sorry about this one)
#3 The weird mental conversation. I know it is really weird, but Cataract has a lot of shared traits with me as a person, and the arguments inside of his head in stressful situations is one of them.
