THE POPULATION
[/blockquote]A name in white on the list below will denote a HysterianIn this world, there are two main populations: The Hairy Hooligans of Berk and the Hysteria Vikings. Over the past two centuries, they have waged various wars on one another, all with The Bulky Beefs of Hysteria to blame. They accuse the Hooligans of abandoning the Viking way of life of slaughtering dragons and taking them as friends and pets. Hysteria randomly launches many attacks on Berk, with all intentions of killing dragons. However, with the dragons on their side, Berk has always come out successful.

LEADERThese are the people that have been elected by either the village council to lead, or ursurped the thrown of power for themselves (or really any other way your village runs and chooses its Leader is an acceptable way to become leader). These are the people that the village will look to in times of strife. Don't be fooled, though, although they have to be open with their village in order to successfully lead them, this does not mean that they don't have secrets of their own.
Asther :: Berk Leader
Baldr Bjorg the Bonkers :: Hysterian Leader
WARRIOR VIKINGShortened to 'Warriors', this is, by far, the most populous of the ranks within the viking village. Warriors can be a jack of all trades when it comes to ways of fighting for their home and defending all that is important to them. Although many are expected to be beefy and strong, this is not always required. Some of the most explosive and dangerous vikings are long and lean. The second-in-command of a Village is considered simply a Warrior Viking.
Arya the Fleetfooted
Crabapple Holdfast :: Hysterian Second in Command
Ethelwulf
Halldor Frodison :: Berk Second in Command
Pickle Manface the Grim the Third with an Eyepatch
Summer the Lightfooted
VIKING-IN-TRAININGLess of a mouthful for this would be 'In-Training'. These are the young vikings, generally ages 13-15, maybe a bit younger or older, that are training to become warriors of their village. In this time they will grow physically as well as mentally, learn how to fight, learn survival skills, and maybe even bond with a dragon if they are given the opportunity. This is, by far, a rite of passage in any young vikings life - completing training to become a full-fledged viking of their village. They are currently split into two Classes, those who are 13 year old and those who are 14 or 15.

Cyndis

Troutface the Sneeze :: Class A
Ulrika Weostan the Careless :: Class B
Venny Sharpblade :: Class A
TEACHERYou guessed it, these are the people that are directly responsible (aside from the parents) of the rising generation of Vikings-in-Training. Generally, there will just be one teacher that is able to efficiently instruct the young residents of the village in one way or another, and to make sure they know how to deal with themselves and survive out in the real world. Some teachers may even go to the extreme of testing their students in order to deem them fit for graduation by temporarily exiling the young ones from the village, forcing them to survive on their own.

RESIDENT
The less named of all members, these residents are the very heart of the village. Without them, the village would not be able to survive. They keep things running in the village - they can be anything from blacksmiths to leatherworkers to general hunters to even breadmakers, or even medicinemen (or women, whichever). You have to get the simpler things in life somehow!

OUTSIDER
The people (often considered Vikings if old enough) that live outside of the villages. They were born outside the villages and often on their own. There are no 'clans' of outsiders that we are aware of (yet), and there generally are not that many to begin with, seeing as it is smartest and safest to belong to a certain village.

Curtis :: Apprentice Healer
Ethelwulf:: Warrior
Jovic
Sven Boyd :: Dragonologist
Virtigo
Wycliffe Kilkenny :: Skald
Zilyr Armia the Silent-Fingered :: Thief
OUTCAST
These are the people that have been exiled from their current village for one reason or another. Generally, it is because they have committed some crime against the laws of their village. Most Outcasts have banded together on Outcast Island, where they breed an insatiable hate for their home from which they have been sent away.
DESERTERThe people that have left the village for one reason or another. In some cases, it can be considered one step short of an outcast, though the process of being exiled was never finalized. On the other hand, a resident could have left for their own reasons. Although most villages would be willing to welcome a deserter back within reason, don't expect to simply waltz back into the life you once led if you choose to re-join your village.
Fitz Wendel :: Hysterian Deserter
Searunt :: Hysterian Deserter
Selene :: Berkite Deserter
[/blockquote]
TAME DRAGON
Dragons that have been tamed by vikings in one way or another, or that were bred into domestication. They can be gentle and playful for those that they love, but vicious and unforgiving in battle as needed - true to their instinctive nature.[/blockquote]

WILD DRAGON
Most definitely the more lawless creatures in this world, dragons are anything from respected to feared. Don't make the mistake of underestimating even the smallest ones, because even they can be quick and are able of delivering painful (sometimes dangerous) bites. Wild dragons are often what Vikings-In-Training seek to be their partner.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Hydrose :: Lakewing
Meko :: Changewing
Scratchet :: Deadly Nadder
