Stary Night.

[Horik & Argent]

Curtis and Slity would climb up the side of the mountain, They didn't go very far. Just far enough get get above the tree's. Curtis would look down at Slity and would laugh, "Well, You stand out like a Sore Thumb don't ya Slity." Slity would look at himself abit, Because he was a White Fear the light from the moon reflected off him making him pretty visible. Slity would make a laughing sound back a Curtis. Curtis would look back up and would see a platform that reaches the top of the tree's, Curtis and Slity would move up abit more and would drop down onto the platform. Slity would lay down Sideways to the moon. He would flick his ear's up as he would look around the starry sky. Curtis would take his rapier off his waist and would hold it in his head. He would sit down and lay against Slity's side look up beginning to Stargaze, He would put his Rapier down beside him.

After a little while of Stargazing Curtis would take out a White Covered book, He would open it and would flip through it until he found a blank page. Curtis would take the make-shift pencil he made and would draw the stars, He would look and see if there are and constellations in the sky from where he was. He would look hard through the Book seeing if he can connect the dots with the drawn star's in the book. Slity would look around hearing something, Curtis would look over at Slity. "Something Wrong Slity?" Slity would look back making a Noise as if he was saying "I dont know.". Curtis would look back at the book then to the sky again.

[Luna Heiler & Ayer]

"what is it?" Luna asked her dragon, snatcher. She had been following him for 20 minutes now, and he was going up the mountain. That made her nervous. Snip stopped to sniff something, "come on, Snip. I don't think your brother is stopping for anything!" Luna began to see something shine in the distance through the trees, she became curious and followed snatcher more quickly until she was leading him. Snip wouldn't stop stopping to eat berries, so Luna finally had to pick her up. The terrible terror snuggled in her arms as her master caressed her. "alright snatcher! Let's move" snatcher made a gleeful reply and started to fly, slowly though. Luna started running, towards the mysterious white shine. It was a beautiful starlit night and the air was perfect- cool and comfortable. Every once in a while there would be a gust and she would smile as the wind swept through her feather- strewn hair. "so this is what it's like to fly, huh snip?" snip made a rumbling noise back. Eventually the trees started to thin out and then there were none at all. They were close the the white shiny thing now! They walked quickly around the bend. And there sitting on the ground was a dragon- an Ice fear by the looks of it,' that must have been what the shiny thing was' she thought to herself. She looked again and with the beast, there was a boy, he turned around and saw her. And she saw him. And he had a sword.

Curtis would look at the Girl. Slity raised his ear's again at the Terrible terrors, And girl. Curtis would put his book away in a bag and would keep his eyes on her. Curtis would get up and look at the three, He would of left his sword on the ground due to him not seeing there be much of a threat. Curtis would Examine the Girl and her dragon's, He finally decided to talk. "Oh.. Hello there." Curtis would look at Slity. Slity would get up an slowly move to the three of them cautiously and would sniff them before moving back to Curtis. Curtis would look at Slity then back at the Girl. "What Brings you out here?" Curtis would question abit. Curtis noticed that the Girl didn't look much like a viking.

Curtis would look around, " Interesting, Terror's. Mischievous little dragons" Curtis would laugh abit. "Im sorry for not introducing myself, Im Curtis. This is Slity. You are?" Curtis would stand and wait for her to answer. The night would be cool. Brightly lit by the Moonlight, The Tree tops would move with the wind.

"my-my name is Luna" she said slowly "I don't think I've seen you or your dragon in town before" she said. He explained that he was more of a wanderer and from a place called red rock on the mainland. She became more at ease when he didn't show signs of aggression or even take a second look at his sword. He had a fine dragon, she had never seen an ice fear this close before. She noticed that dragon and rider both shared the same deep blue eyes. They seemed to share a close bond that no one could ever break. They seemed to expect each others movements and reactions to things. This she knew, was a pair that had been together through alot. They were simply inseparable. They both looked each other over for awhile before Luna commented " your dragon is beautiful. I've never seen an ice fear In the area before, I was sure I knew all the types that resided around here, I guess not..." and her voice trailed off as he started to explain how they had found each other. It was a magnificent
Story, much more heroic than how she had found her two, snatcher and snip. " so it's slity? Hello slity" she said scratching his nose, a rumble came from deep in his chest. " and these two would be mine, the red and brown is snatcher and the purple and orange is his sister, Snip" she said motioning to each in their turn " my story with them is a little less exiting, I found them in the canyon one day when I was searching for herbs, they were only 2 days old and abandoned. I raised them myself" the boy, Curtis continued to look the pair over as she spoke.

Curtis would think. Luna.. Almost like it was Lunar like the moon. He would smile "That's An Interesting yet Cute name." Curtis would think "Snip and Snatcher? Cool. Wait when they were two days old?" Curtis would think then would have a kinda odd face "Wow, They must be pretty young." Curtis would laugh abit and would examine the two. "Hmm. You said you were looking for Herb's?" Curtis would ask the question before look around "Doesn't that mean your a Healer or something?" Curtis would look at Slity laying down again, He would walk over and would sit down and lay against Slity's side once again. "Interesting. So How long have you been here?" Curtis would stargaze again as he would listen to Luna.

Slity would look at the two Terror's with his ears perked and would then look back at Curtis sitting against him. A Gust of wind would pass through the somewhat high area. Curtis would look at Luna "Anything you want to ask?"

"yes, they are about 4 years old now, just babies" she replied he asked how long she had been in berk, she got a little nervous as she said " 5 years now" she took off her pack, which she always kept with her when she went out in case she found any interesting things or useful herbs. she sat down against a rock with her pack behind to back to make it more comforable. Snip came and snuggled in her lap and Snatcher sat down beside her. she stroked them both. the night air smelled of rain 'we might get rain tomorrow' she thought to herself. Curtis gazed up at the stars as luna continued to look him over, he was willowy and had the looks of a traveller about him. he had a kind smile and a gentle demenor about him. he was completly comfortable with his dragon, something every dragon and rider needed, but then again how would she know, she had never been brave enough to ride one. "and im the dragon healer, i live up on the far north side of town."

Four Years, Curtis would think over in his head. Yup they were still very very young. Curtis would think Five years? So she couldn't of been born here, She came her then. "So, Five year's? You can't be from here then." Curtis would look through a Black covered book. Or his Mapping book. Curtis would get up and would walk over to Luna handing her His book, It would be opened up to the first page. The first page would have both pages taken up, It would show all the isles between Red rock and Berk. "Hmm, Is where you were born on here?" Curtis would wait and see if Luna would point it out to any of the Isles. When she did he would look at it "Ah. Intersting"

Curtis would think. "North Side of town?" Curtis had only been to the town afew times. He didn't live in the town. "Hmm. My home is not far from here." Curtis would look around and would point to an area where the trees would make a clear spot. "About there." Curtis would look back at Luna. "Wait, Dragon Healer?" Curtis would smile "Your one of the only people I've heard that's a Dragon Healer."

curtis handed her a book with maps in it and asked her to piont out where she was from, thats when she got nervous, she had been telling this lie from the second she stepped foot on berk, but for some reason, she felt different about this stranger. instead of pionting to hysteria, she picked another random island that seemed far away. "oh, you live in the woods, that would explain why i havent seen you in town much." she remarked "well, what with me being a dragon healer and all i have to be in town alot so i can be on call, you know in case anything happens. i only get out during the day about once a week to gather herbs, other than that i have to go out at night." he said he had never heard of many dragon healers she replied "its not a very common job i guess because not every where has accepted dragons yet, and even if they have accepted them, they dont own them like they do on berk" snatcher nudged luna, asking for something to eat. she look through her pack and pulled out some dried meat and tossed him a peice, and then gave a peice to snip. "are you hungry?" she asked curtis as she pulled out some cornbread. he nodded and she broke the peice in half and gave some to him. she laughed as slity came over and nudged her and then tossed Slity a peice of meat too. " so what are you doing up here tonight?" luna inquired

Curtis would smile and would take the cornbread. "Thanks." He would look over at Slity laughing aswell. "Im just out here doing somthing I enjoy. Stargazing." Curtis would think about the star's back at Red Rock, They wern't the same in Berk. Curtis would smile looking back at the sky looking around. Curtis would take the Black covered book back and would put it away. "I keep multiple books for abunch of diffrenet things." Curtis would take out the White Covered book again opening it to the star charts. Curtis would think. "Wait, You said you collect herbs." Curtis would look through his bag and would take out a Herb with a Bluish tinge to it. "Mind telling me what this is excatly? Gotta write it down in my Planet book." Curtis would look at Luna waiting for her to awnser if she knew.

He would sit down infront of Luna with his Backpack beside himself. He would examine Snip and Snatcher more carefully.

"i like stargazing too" she said "this is a great spot too, despite the height." " how long have you been coming here?" she asked. when he said it was his first time, she laughed and said it was her first time too," i dont venture up on the mountain much, unless its a good time for a certain time of herb" he took out a book and handed her and herb and asked her if she knew what type of plant it was.
"ah, it looks like youve found a bit of blue dune!" did you find it on the beach?" he replyed yes. "it doesnt have any healing properties, but it does look pretty!" the flowers on that plant are beautiful, did you happen to see any of those while you were there?" he shook his head no. "thats too bad, thier beautiful, but they are very delicate so you have to be there at the right time of day to see them before they fall off"
"its interesting that you keep books, if you ever need help identifying a plant, you can ask me i know them all!" she said " in fact you should come over sometime and see all my herbs, you might find them interesting, would you like that?" "i dont get many visitors aside from buisness"

Curtis would smile and then rub his eyes abit. It was starting to get late out. "Ya, It would be nice to come and see what you have." Curtis would luagh abit, "But right now I should probably get going. Starting to get tired." Curtis would look at Slity. Slity would get up and stand beside Curtis. "I guess ill come by tommorow morning." Curtis would grab his stuff and put it in his bag. He would throw his backpack on his back and his Rapier back on his waist. He would Climb up on Slity and would look over at Luna. "Umm.. Do you want a ride back to Berk?"

Oh no, she was afraid the might happen someday. Did she tell him she is afraid of heights? No that would make her sound weak. She could tell him simply no, and offend him and his dragon. She could say yes and scream the whole way there. Luna was so torn. She wanted to say yes, but she couldn't
"ah...no" she said shakily "I'd uh, rather walk cuz I uh, saw an uh, herb on the way up here that I'm uh, running low on, so uh, I'd better not." he almost looked disappointed that shed said no, she felt horrible, but,but she couldn't do it "maybe another time though" she said before she could think.
"my house is the one with the blue door and the garden out back, out north of town" he nodded and looked where she pointed je turned around to harness up Slity and she bent down to wake up snip and snatcher who had dozed off.
They turned back around to look at each other " tomorrow morning then?" she asked. He nodded and mounted his white fear and said goodbye and waved at her as they took off. And with that, she turned and left, half regretting not flying back with him and contemplating what might had happened had she accepted.
