Beow breathed in the smell of the forest after a rain. The scent was refreshing and clean. The air was still moist and the ground was still damp from the storm, the moisture felt nice on his feet. He didn't know why people wore shoes. These were the little things you missed when you were ignorant like that. The thunderous storm had only taken small tolls this time, thank the gods. Only a few branches knocked down, and of course plenty of leaves littered the Forest floor. His eyes scanned the area around his abode, his cave where he resided with his dragon, calypso. He wondered where she had gotten to. Proabaly just out for a good fly to stretch to winds after the rain. She was always itching to fly, that was just her nature. He did wonder why he hadn't taken him with her though, she usually enjoyed a flight with her master, but perhaps today she just wanted a little time to be alone. Beow was the same way sometimes. He decided to do the same.
Beow proceeded to walked over to a good, tall tree. He jumped as high as he could and caught a branch and wrapped his arms around a branch and set his feet in a notch on the trunk. He pulled himself up Into the branches of the tree. Each leaf had a few drops of rain on it, if you shook a branch, you would get showered with a tiny downpour from the soaked foliage. Boew did so and laughed as his hair soaked up the light droplets, cooling his temperature, as if he needed it. It was always nice and cool on berk, there was never much need to keep cool. Beow continued to clamber up the tree, fearlessly climbing to heights until he was above the tops of the short trees. He climbed with agility out to a limb. He held on with both hands as he reached the near end of the hefty bough. He looked at the view. It was beautiful, overlooking the Forest floor through the leaves and branches of armies of trees that march through the entire forest, making it up. his forest. 'Anyone who doesnt want to live in the forest is a fool' he thought to himself as he surveyed the wooded place and smiled to himself. He knew he would always be at home here.
Beow didn't have much to do today, living on his own he didn't typically have much work planned out for himself. When it got closer to winter, he would need to be out gathering food, but it was summer, so he was free of those self-emplored duties. He liked relying on himself, doing things for himself, living on his own, with calypso, not interacting with people very often. It wasn't that he didn't like people, only that he prefered his own company. The solemn serenity of the still forest was untouched. People didn't often venture this deep into the wild land of berk. Sometimes another forest-dweller would happen upon him or a traveller would make a short stop on the island, and they would converse for a short time before parting ways and going about their own business.
The cool wind whipped through Beow's unkept hair. Beow readjusted himself and repositioned himself on the high-set bough he was setting on. He looked up at the sky, it was perfectly blue and cloudless after the heavy rainfall left the sky and took the dark clouds with it. Then he looked down to the forest floor, scanning the grassy and mossy ground to see if calypso had returned yet. She hoped his dragon would be back soon. As Beow continued to survey the ground, far below. All the sudden a sense of slight foreboding entered his mind. For some reason, something seemed out of the ordinary, not quite right, like there was something in his vicinity that was out off kilter. Beow made his way silently off the branch he leaped from branch to branch down the tree trunk without a noise, stopping on the last bough before he would have to drop to the ground. His bare feet seemed to clutch the tree as he held on to the Branch. He partially hid himself behind a cluster of leaves as he watched to see if there was something approaching.

Curtis looked outside to survey what has happened around the area of his house, Few branchs were on the ground that weren't there before the storm had came through and brought it's terror with it. He walked around the house and saw nothing of major attention, He walked back in and Silvia ran out the door and started to run around the front of the house. Slity walked out the door and looked around. "Hmm. You two want to go for a walk?" Silvia stopped running immiditly and looked at Curtis and nodded her head constantly. Slity nuddged Curtis from behind, "Alright alirght lets go then. Pushy and pushier." He laughed and started to walk, Silvia went ahead and started to look around the area.
Curtis continued to walk with Slity following behind him. Curtis looked around the forest, Branchs were here and there as they walked along. Silvia continued to run, She was much farther ahead but Curtis knew she would run back if she was in trouble. Silvia continued until she ran into somthing, It was a tree but when she moved back and shook her head. She looked over and saw a human. She backed up slowly and looked at Beow. Curtis continued to follow where Silvia had gone, When him and Slity had gotten there Curtis raised an eyebrow to the other human. "Um.. Hello."

From his concealed spot crouched on the tree branch, Beow observed as a little white dragon bounded up and stopped short when it saw him. The little dragon was white and had very simalar anatomy to a night fury and it had enchanting violet eyes tha it stared curiously at him with. Beow smiled at the little thing until he heard it's master and a larger dragon coming with him. Beow stood up and tried to shoo the thing away, not necessarily wanting to draw any attention to himself. But the young man who seemed to own the small dragon came up with a larger dragon of the same species as the little one. It took a second for him to notice Beow perched in the tree, bit when he did he looked at him and aknowledged him, giving him an awkward greeting as if HE had disturbed HIM. As if!
After an awkward moment of silence Beow finally said something back "hello, and you would be?". As he waited for a reply, he leaped down from the tree he was in, the cold grass would have been a shock to his feet if he wasn't so used to it. He looked the boy over. He must be relatively new, Beow had never seen him or either of his dragons before now. He was about the same age as himself, Beow was only slightly taller than him. He didn't have the looks of someone who was a forest dweller for some reason, but Beow was pretty sure this didn't look like anyone from the village either. He wondered where he lived. Then he looked at his dragons. They were a speices unfamiliar to him. Like white night furies with different eyes, beautiful eyes. He wondered where he had gotten a pair of such a kind of dragon, they were defiantly not a species that resided on berk, Beow most defiantly would have seen at least on of their kind in his 5 years of living in the wild forests of the island. No, they were most certainly not a native kind to this region. Beow's eyes wandered back to the human and Beow waited expectantly for an answer to his question.

Curtis examined Beow for a moment before decideing to speak again, "My name is Curtis." Slity would nugged him from behind, "And this is Slity and that's Silvia." He pointed down at the little White Fear that was looking at Beow. Curtis looked around the forest, the sun was poking it's rays through the tree and lighting up the forest. The grass gave a bright shine from the sun bouncing off the wet small dropplets that sat upon the blades of grass and leaves that sat in the trees. Branches sat on the ground that were knocked off their parent tree's that used nuture them to health until they had been taken to the grasp of the storm and ripped from the ones they loved. Curtis turned his gaze back to Beow and examined him one last time before speaking again. "I havn't seen you around here before." He spoke with a questioning tone to his voice, He was curious he had never seen this boy before.
The noises of birds chirping after a big storm was nice to the ears, It was alot better then the noise of cracking thunder bringging down a large pound. Dragon's could also be heard in the distance, They probably were just as happy as the birds were to have the storm disperse. The chances of another storm happening like that again could be small, That is only a hope for that.

Beow mentally debated wether or not to tell the newcomer his identity. If he Curtis, as he has said his name was, in fact did live in the village, he may have heard of him and know he was an outcast. He contemplated it for a moment before determining from the boy's slight accent that he wasnt from the village, perhaps he was a traveller, most travellers were typically amiable to him, so he decided to introduce himself to Curtis. "I'm sure you haven't seen me around. Most don't, that's the way I like it. My name is Beow, I have a last name but most people refer to me as 'the barefooted' rather than with my last name, you may have heard talk of me if you've visited the village any." Beow said. He glanced his feet as he mentioned his nickname. Paused for a moment before adding "and my dragon, calypso, well...she's around here somewhere. I suspect she's out for a little fly by herself right now" Beow said, glancing at the sky, searching it breifly for his dragon as he refered to her. Hopefully she would be back soon.
After a moment, Beow looked back at the mysterious speices of dragon. He looked the two over once more before turning to their master and inquiring "would you mind telling me about the speices your dragons belong to? I'm not farmiliar with their type and they are both rather interesting to look at." Beow said. He brushed the leaves just realized still clung to him from being in the tree. That was an excellent tree for climbing, he would have to remember it's location and return later to further explore the tall branches. Beow retired his attention to Curtis as he waited for and answer about the white dragons.

Curtis shook his head abit, He hadn't heard about him. "To be honest I havn't heard of you." He laughed abit to himself and then looked around seeing if he could see his dragon somewhere. He turned back and then looked at Silvia and Slity. "Oh, Well." Curtis started again with speaking. "Slity and Silvia are more comman, But still extremley rare down where Im from. They are called White Fears and look alot like Night Furys." Curtis nodded his head abit and then turned to Slity, "Want to show Beow what your able to do?" Slity nodded his head and scanned around, A somewhat large trunked tree was his target. Slity got into a more aggresive stance and after a minute of waiting he finally let off a sharp, Ice shot that went straight through the tree trunk. Curtis patted his head, Slity returned to a more passive stance and layed down on the ground. Curtis walked over and sat down on Slity's back for a seat and rested his head ontop of his. "So, What are you doing out here?"

Beow watched Curtis sit down and get comfortable. Obviously he was going to stay for a bit. Beow didn't mind. He decided to follow and crouched on the ground, as he often did. He listened as he asked the next question. Beow had to stifle a laugh when he asked what he was doing out here. "um, I live here?" he said a smile tugging at his lips at the question. "I should be asking what you're doing way out here. Not many wander out my way. Most of the villagers don't know where I live, and if they do they avoid me. So usually it's just me and calypso, which I don't mind" Beow paused for a second before looking up at Curtis "are you a traveller or do you like here on berk? he asked in a curious tone, he's never seen him, and he liked to know who was new in his forest. Curtis didn't seem like a threat, he just wanted to know more about him. He seemed nice, actually- but you could never be too cautious about these things.
Beow looked around a little more while he waited for a response from him. It was going to be I nice cool sunny day. The sky was clear and A bright brilliant blue hue. The golden rays of morning sunshine filtering through the foliage was magnificent, as usual. The wind was nice too. A few birds flew through the tree tops and he could hear traces of dragons in the distance. Perhaps calypso was there, hopefully she would be back from her little outing soon. Beow turned his attention back to Curtis and waited for an answer to his question.

Curtis shook his head. "I used to be a traveller, Then I decided to settle down here instead." Curtis stopped for a moment and thought about afew things before continuing on again. "And I live just back that way." Curtis pointed behind him towards the deeper parts of the forest, He brought his hand back and laied it down onto Slity's side. "I didn't feel like building in the town, Allthough it might of been easier I was able to get fresher materials from around the forest to build." Curtis stopped talking and allowed Beow to ask any questions that he might have for him. Curtis tapped his fingers along the side of Slitys, White cold scales. Silvia sat there still having her dark, Violet eyes locked onto Beow as if she was waiting for him to do somthing so she would be able to jump at it and have somthing to do, Or she just wanted to examine Beow for awhile and then just sat there. Curtis looked at Beow, "Any questions you want to ask?"

Beow nodded as curtis spoke, Indicating his Intrest. He didn't want to seem uninterested in what he was saying. "hey there, little one- Silvia" Beow mumbled to the smaller white dragon whose crazy violet eyes were trained Intently on him, carefully observing his every move. She seemed very curious about him. He reached out his hand to her and let Silvia sniff it before he placed his hand on the young dragon's head and gave it a soft stroke and a little scratch on the nose. Boew smiled and laughed to himself as Silvia rubbed her face on his hand and emitted little rumbling noises like a pur. She must like it. So Beow continued to pet her as he listened to Curtis. Hmm, that was interesting. He stayed on berk rather than moving on. Travelers didn't typically stay on berk, the weather was too constantly cold for people from other places to adjust to. He wondered why Curtis had stayed. "I just have one question. What made you stay here? NO ONE stays on berk, exept of course for us natives. Born here, bred here, you know." Beow said in reply to curtis' question. Beow glanced at silvia before looking back up at Curtis, waiting fir his answer.
Calypso dipped and dived through the air. Flying high in the sky, gliding swiftly through the cold, damp, windy air. She loved a good fly. The rain last night had prevented her from stretching her wings before falling asleep for the night, which was a ritual for her. So she had purposefully awoken before her master to get an early start on her fly. When she had arose, the sun was just peeking over the horizon and the day was just beginging. Now the sun was making it's steady ascent Into the sky as it always did. Calypso twisted and turned through the air as it caressed her scales as her wings stirred up the air. Her tail whipped around behind her, the 3 tendrils trailing behind her body and waving gracefully in the wind. Oh, how she loved to fly. She rose and rose in the sky before diving down, down, down for what seemed like an eternity before pulling herself up back into the sky at the last second. The thrill of doing that was incredible. Beow loved when she did that. Calypso had almost forgotten about Beow, who by this time would most likely be expecting her back, although she knew it did not matter the time or length, Beow would never scold her for simply taking leave and going for a fly. She turned and began to slowly make her way back to the island to find her master in the vast woods.

Curtis laughed abit, It was true. Probably not alot of travelers would stay on Berk, than again every place has its good sides and then their bad sides so you would just have to get used them. A bad thing that Berk had was it's weather, It wasn't the best of weather that you could of gotten. There was the cold weather, Rain Storms every now and then, Hail, The snow wasn't bad but Curtis had only arrived when there was very small amounts of snow on the ground and it was the end of 'winter' there. Curtis went over afew more thing in his head on why. "Well, Firstly I had ended up with travelling so far north is becuase I tri- Never mind. Nothing importent." Curtis paused for a second again. "Well, I have a home here now so that's a reason." He laughed, "It's a big change in weather from where Im from alot colder." Curtis looked over at Silvia who seemed to be enjoying her self, He could hear her small purr from where he was sitting. "It's always intersting to live somewhere else for once, Not alot of people do it but it really dosn't matter. There's another reason?" He laughed at his comments, "And then Im with someone." Curtis nodded his head abit allowing Beow to talk now.

Beow listened to curtis' explanations. Oh, so he lived here. He wondered how long he'd been on berk. Beow had certainly never seen him in these woods. Perhaps he simply preferered to stay in the lighter parts of the forest- which was probably a good thing for someone new. You could very easily and quickly become lost in the forest, especially this one, if you werent accustOmed to it. He kept talking. "oh! You found yourself a girl." Beow laughed "well that's always an exellant reason to stay!" Beow said grinning at Curtis. No wonder he had stayed. Beow had never been one for a relationship, he just wasn't any good for that. Also living isolated out in the depths of the forest didn't lend itself well to keeping up a relationship, or even meeting people for that matter. Beow would probably always be more of a loner.
Curtis looked at him like he wanted him to answer the questions he had just asked Curtis for himself. Talking about his past made him kind of uncomfortable. He didn't like to make it common knowledge to newcomers that he was in exile, an outcast of the village. Especially because he hadn't done anything to be exiled, it was just a giant setup against him and calypso. He awkwardly started a sentence "um, well I...uh". He looked down at the grass and pretend to be very interested in the blades. Then Beow felt the wind pickup. It came in rhythmic gusts that shook the forest around him. Then he herd a gleeful roar, and Beow released calypso was back. Beow rose to his feet and looked off in the direction his dragon was coming from and beamed. Calypso spiraled down gracefully and landed with delicate poise and perfect form. Every scale was immaculate, as always. All shiny and teal and neat. Calypso shook her massive wings before folding them slowly down into the more compact form that made her more maneuverable when walking on the ground. "Calypso!!!" Beow shouted in happiness. He ran over to his dragon and smiled as her gave her a hearty scratch on her head. She made a happy rumbling noise in the pit of her stomach in reply. After the two greeted one another, calypso looked up at the three strangers in their vicinity. She glanced at Beow and grunted while nodding her head in their direction. "oh! Sorry. Curtis, slity, Silvia- this is calypso." calypso set her head proudly and swished her tails sassily as looked at the newcomers with a glint in her brown eyes at the mention of her name.

Curtis nodded his head and laughed abit. "Yea, She's amazing." Curtis smiled and looked around the forest. The wind had picked up abit, Mabye it was a small back draft that the storm had left behind and it was picking up it's pace throwing it's self around the sky trying to meet back up with it much bigger parent. It moved afew leaves across the ground, At the mercy of the wind as it had passed by. Curtis looked back and saw Beow's dragon land, He smiled. "Hmmm." Curtis thought for a moment before speaking again, "Calyspo? Im guessing She's a She" He laughed, He was able to tell these kind of things, He walked over to Calyspo and held his hand out in front of himself for her to sniff. "She's a nice looking girl." Curtis laughed abit.
Slity walked up and looked at Calyspo, He blinked his eyes abit and then let out a small noise. Silvia ran around behind Calyspo and jumped up her back, He jumped once or twice onto of Calyspo's back.

Beow smiled at Curtis and his comments about calypso. She seemed pleased when Curtis said she was pretty. " yeah, I like her 'aright" Beow said. Calypso snorted at the sarcastic remark. "nah. Calypso's the best" Beow said. Calypso liked him on his arm. Beow laughed "thanks, girl". Beow saw little Silvia start to jump all over calypso, who seemed slightly irritated by it, but not mad.
Calypso shook the little thing off and turned around Amd sniffed the tiny white dragon curiosly. She smelled ok, there was nothing to worry about. So she sauntered over to the male dragon, who appeared fully grown in comparison whith the smaller one. She smelled him and determined he was fine. A foriegn speicies, but not of any threat to her or Beow. She finished sniffing and looking him over before turning to the human. A male, by the scent of it. This seemed to be that white dragon's human. Calypso looked him up and down before deciding he wasn't here to threaten either, and mostl likely wouldn't become one in the future. She glanned over at the white dragon "is this your human?" she asked casually. "well, I see you've already met my human, Beow" she said, glancing at the boy when she said his name.
Beow observed as calypso went Over to slity and Curtis to check them out. He laughed to himself, calypso always liked meeting new people and other dragons. "heh. I think she likes you, Curtis" Beow said.

Curtis laughed and shook his head abit looking at Calyspo "I guess so." Curtis glanced over at Silvia, She squirmed around on the wet grass getting her back all wet from the rainfall that came before. Silvia heard a noise and stopped rolling onto her feet again and looking around. She saw a small ray of light peering through the trees, She cautiously walked towards it and stopped afew feet infront of it and watched it intently. Silvia got into a pouncing kind of postion looking at the spot of light that laied on the ground. Silvia waited another moment and then pounced at it, when she landed on it and relised it was on her back she rolled over and started to swat at it with her hands and feet. She got onto her feet again and relised the light wasn't going anything, her eyes narrowed abit and let off a small breath of frost that made the spot with the ray of light turn white.
Slity looked at Calyspo and nodded his head slightly, "Mhmm. This is my Human Curtis." He looked over at Curtis for a moment then back, "Why are you two out here?" He let off a small curious tone with his voice.

"why are we out here?!" calypso snorted "were out here because we LIVE out here. What are you doing out here? This is my territory, I should be questioning your prescence, not you questioning mine and my human's". calypso looked over at slity and then looked over at the little dragon of the same species as silty. She was a little baby dragon, which was obvious. "is she yours?" calypso asked slity nodding towards the little one, who seemed to have endless energy. She watched as Beow and slity's human- Curtis, interacted. They seemed amiable. The little dragon seemed to be hanging around Curtis. She never stopped moving, she was always shuffling or hooping or trying to talk. "she sure has alot of energy. How do you live with that? I need my peace and quiet." She asked the white dragon. Calypso swishes her tails as she watched slity waiting for some answers.
Beow watched as slity got to know his dragon. They seemed to be getting along pretty well, just getting acquainted with one another. Beow glanced over at Curtis, who was still pretty relaxed. "so Curtis, how well can you actually fly that thing?" Beow asked Curtis with a smirk and a laugh and a hand motioned over to slity.
