Virtigo shook, his wide eyes starring at the glaring male he landed upon. His nails dug into the mud from where they lay, mouth gapping like a fish out of water as he tried to speak but not knowing how to explain.
He felt like crying, actually crying because of the fear he was experiencing with meeting dragons, a viking, and now slamming into someone that might be mad enough to hurt him just like the Whispering Death.
The Galewing behind the male he landed on only served to scare him more, as it growled and glared at him. Hearing hissing, Virtigo turned to stare at the opened jaw of rotating teeth, the dragon growling at him as well.
Virtigo's heart pounded against his chest, his breathing coming in gasps as his eyes started to become unfocased. He felt faint from everything happening so short of time. All he wanted to do was get flowers and herbs before the storm got worse but insted he met three dragons and two people.
Thunder boomed and lightning flashed as Virtigo passed out, falling sideways into the mud.

Beow stared in shock as a terrible creature approached from behind the other young man. He had never been this close to a dragon like this. He watched as the other male looked from Beow to Calypso to the whispering death, fear in his eyes. Beow would be frightened as well if he was caught between an angry person and two angrier dragons. But he was surprised when he fainted. He had just fell to the ground so suddenly. Beow's eyes widened at it. He wasn't sure what to do. He could tell his guy needed help, Beow couldn't just leave him there to get who knows what by this other dragon that seemed to be after him. he Wasn't very patronizing of villagers, in fact he didn't like them at all. But for some reason this didn't seem like a villager. So Beow dragged him out of the way, unluckily through the mud. He noticed how strangely he was dressed, but the thought quickly passed.
After they were out of the way of the two dragons, who seemed to be having a mumbled conversation. Beow crossed his arms and sighed. He ran his fingers through his muddy mess of auburn hair, trying to decide what to do. He saw Calypso make one last remark to the strange dragon before making her way over to him.
Beow set his staff down reluctantly, he didn't like getting the rod muddy. But he did. He kneeled down next to the fainted stranger. He set his hands on him and shook him, trying to get him to come to. He didn't know what else to do, and he wasn't sure what he was going to do after he woke up.
~~~~~~~
After her human left, dragging that weird-looking human, Calypso turned to the hostile dragon. She snorted. "what did that thing do to you to make you so mad?" she asked. the male dragon replied and she narrowed her eyes as she listened. Why were some humans so stupid? Calypso glanced over again at Beow to see what he was doing, she should be getting back to him. She looked back at the other dragon. "well just stay away from my human, I could care less what you do to that other on though, I'm not with him." and with that the dragon took her leave, swishing her tails sassily behind her. She briefly wondered if they would come across the whispering death again before approaching Beow.
She made her way over regally despite the rain. She despised the rain. It wasnt the wet that she minded so much, more the fact That she couldnt fly in it. That she hated more than almost anything, constraint from flight was the worst.
She got to Beow who seemed to be trying to revive the human who had fainted. She snorted in a friendly manner to announce her prescence to her human, who glanced back at her. Calypso folded her back legs and sat, watching her human. She could leave if she wanted to, Beow never made her stay. But she didn't have much else to do she she decided to stay with him and watch him. It was proabably a good thing anyways for protection for him. She didn't want to leave him with that mad dragon on the loose. Calypso had seen what the boy could do with that staff of his, he was actually rather good. But against a dragon like that he didn't stand much chance, especially in the rain. So she waited there amd cocked her head, watching and waiting for something to happen.
Darkness pulled back, closing his jaws tightly. His huge yellow eyes followed the man as he splashed into the mud, unconsious. Darkness now felt bad for what he had just done. His eyes also strayed towards the other man, who picked up Virtigo and dragged him away from them.
His attention turned to Calypso who was speaking to him. He hissed when she asked why he was so upset. "He hurt my rider." He growled at her. He was also taken by suprise when she growled at him about her human. Darkess didn't respond.
He turned around to go see Arnorda, dragging her away from the Nadder and setting her on his back. Slithering towards the other dragon and the two humans, he set her down onto a dry patch under some tree roots. He cursed himself for being cold blooded, unable to give her warmth.
-------
Arnorda felt something wrap around her waist and pull her away. Still in a slight daze she did not reconize the shadow being her own dragon. She hung there like a rage doll, limp. She was shivering like crazy and was soaked to the core. Her hands and feet were numb and frozen. When she was put on the ground she could sense that others were near by.
For a moment, Elise didn't even dare to move, the overwhelming scent of the humans forcing her joints and muscles to lock up, keeping her there. Sharply inhaling in short bursts, she could feel her heart speed up as she nervously clicked her teeth together. She had never been this close to the humans that inhabited the island along with her kind, but it enticed just as much as it terrified her. Taking in a deep breath, she used the air to puff out her chest, hoping to create a larger image of herself and make her look more threatening therefore none of the feeble looking, two-legged beings didn't try to come near her. Though, she honestly didn't know how well that would work, knowing little to nothing of the power and abilities they held.
Flinching back slightly as her dark golden-orange eyes caught the movement of the Whispering Death, Elise watched with wonder as it wrapped its tail around the small female and placed her on his back before resting her in a relatively dry place. Pulling her lips back into a snarl, she snorted in disgust at the male, unbelieving that he would be so submissive and willing with the human. "Filthy humans.", she hissed, he spines twitching and fanning out for a brief moment before somewhat flattening against her scales. Still standing in the clearing, exposed to the now harsh beating of the rain, the female Nadder shook her thin body as her mind searched for either an option to do something or to find a way out of this situation.
Looking up at the dark, ominous sky that seemed to be filled with a wild rage, Elise knew it would be a stupid choice to try and fly in that. Faintly growling with frustration, she turned her sharp eyes back to the seemingly large group near her just at the edge of the clearing. The other two dragons made her somewhat nervous, but as they seemed so consumed with their weak human, she assumed they wouldn't try anything.
Virtigo awoke to being shook, his mind still hazy from passing out that abruptly. He felt gross, mud covering him completely, and the rain just making it worse. Staring at the pouring sky, entranced by the lightning that lit up the earth every now and again.
Looking around, he noticed the male he slammed into was the one shaking him with the Galewing close by. The Whispering Death was by the viking female.
The Nadder was still on the other side of the clearing, but none of it mattered anymore, the fear and shock was gone as Virtigo pulled himself up off the muddy ground.
Remembering a very large cave was closer then his home, and would have more then enough room to fit them all. Virtigo yelled over the rain and thunder. "There's a cave nearby! We can stay there until this ends!"
He could only hope they would accept it the invitation instead of staying in this weather.
Beow jumped a little as the person he had been shaking in hopes of brining him out of unconsciousness awoke. He seemed aweful spry so soon after being awoken. The young man looked around him before springing to his feet. Beow just kind of stared at him, glanced back at calypso, and then looked back at the stranger. He had bounced back much quicker than he had expected him to.
Beow glanced back as he heard something approaching. His eyes were met by that whispering death and a girl riding atop his back. He looked the girl over. She was a few years older than him, that he could tell. It was hard to tell much else about her, she was covered in mud like him and this other stranger. Another thing he could tell was that she was a villager. It was just something Beow was good at being able to figure out about a person, probably because he disliked them. Often things you dislike are the things one most easily detects.
He watched as the male dragon, who seemed to belong to the girl, set her on the ground. Beow wondered why the dragon did that, the girl seemed cold, sitting on the ground wasn't going to make that much better. Beow grabbed his staff from the wet ground and used it to help him rise to his feet. He looked up at the sky as a crack of lightning illuminated the sky. It was so powerful. The storm didn't seem like it was going to be letting up soon either, only get worse. That was unfortunate.
Beow saw a flash of moving green in the trees as another crack of lightning sounded. He heard a little growl and a deadly nadder approached them from a ways away, keeping it's distance but watching them at the Same time. Beow didn't give much thought to it, it wasn't showing threats so it didn't necessarily concern him. He looked away pretty quickly, turning his attention to the stranger who he had awoken from unconciosness.
The other man started to Go off, Beow wondered where he was going but then he called back to them that he knew of a cave where they could all stay until the storm passed. It sounded like a good plan to him. He had seemed to be speaking to all of them, him and Calypso, the other girl and her dragon as well as the deadly nadder who had recently appeared. Beow wondered if they would come. He glanced back at Calypso who he nodded at. She obediently advanced to her human and to Beow's releif allowed him to mount and ride without being dumped on the ground. Beow urged the galewing forward with his legs Amd held on as she began to jog after the stranger who had run off before into the forest to guide the way to the place he had offered for shelter for the duration of the storm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The teal-scaled dragon pricked at the approach of 3 dragons and a human. She tured and saw that whispering death again, but this time he had a girl with him. She also sensed a nadder a bit father away, she wondered where she had come from, the dragon seemed to have popped out of nowhere. Calypso looked with narrowed eyes at the returning male dragon asking with a tinge of contempt "what are you doing back here?! Is that your human?" motioning with her tail to the girl he had set down at the latter question. She gave a little snort Amd slapped her tails in the mud. She tried to crane her neck and get a better look at the nadder who had approached, she seemed very cautious.
The dragon brought her attention back to the two male humans at the sound Of the one who had fainted yelling and fleeing. Calypso wasn't sure what the human was doing. She obeyed her human when Beow asked her to come. She stood up from her sitting position and trudged over to him. He clambered onto her back, she wondered where they were going, proabaly after that human who had ran off. She allowed Beow to stay on her. She looked back at the others asking "are you coming or not?" before jogging off at her riders signal.
After a few moments it was apparent that they were in fact headed after this other human male, who soon emerged into view. The dragon just followed him through the wet, windy woods as thunder rolled and lighting flashed. It sure was a terrible storm. It didn't take long before they reached what seemed to be the destination, a cave. Calypso looked back at her rider who nodded back. Calypso trodded towards the mouth of the cave. 'finally!' she thought 'we can get out of this rain!'. She bounded into the rocky place, into the dark cavern behind the human on foot, trusting Beow's judgment in the situation.

Arnorda felt something pick her up by the waist again, and set her down on the back of her dragon. She limply lied down, gripping weakly to Darkness' wet, slippery scales. Something boomed overhead, and yellow filled her vision. Lightning cracked overhead. Followed by another boom of thunder.
Then she felt him moving under him, feeling his wings/arms propelling him forwards. She saw green in her vision, probably the tree's above her, and little drops landing square on her nose. It itched, but she had no strength to scratch it. She felt cold to the core, the shivering has ceased and she has become almost white with frostbite.
-------
Darkness followed close behind the Galewing, pushing his way through tree's and knocking some over in the process. He grumbled to himself, wishing this galewing would go faster. He made sure that Arnorda didnt fall off his back.
He spotted the cave up ahead, so he slithered past them. He snagged some dry branches, and headed inside. He sparked up the branches to make a fire. He set down Arnorda near by, and awaited the rest of them.

Elise jumped back faintly when they all began to move, herding the young male human's offer, but she was sure there was no way she was going to take it up. Sharing a cave with humans was not her ideal shelter, and she would rather be stuck in the rain than to be with them. But...perhaps she was being immature of this. Would throwing a fit really help her? Not only that, but was it really worth the risk of getting sick. Shifting her feet in the moist, muddy earth, the female Nadder hung back as the others proceeded to head to the cave. And, she gradually found herself following. Keeping her tail spines flattened, though her head spikes were still fanned out slightly, she had her head low as she followed at a distance, really not wanting to get too close.
She stopped, though, as they all entered the cave, stopping her in her path. Clicking her teeth together, Elise debated on whether or not she shpuld continue inside, but there was one thing that nothered her if she did chose to. The humans were all gathered around the entrance and there really wasn't any easy way around them or any spot near the entrance that would be far enough from them and still be kept dry. With a growl rumbling in her throat, the deep green-shaded Nadder shook her shoulders as she stepped ever so carefully cloaer, stopping just before she came within ten feet of the entrance and lowered herself to the ground. Thankfully there were some rocks that held some shelter, but not enough to completely cover her. Glancing back at the group, she gabe a faint snort before turning away.
It was then that she finally turned her attention to her lightly damaged wing. Letting her other wing hang limply at her side, Elise carefully extended her wing, wincing as the muscles were pulled and stinging with pain. Oh, this wasn't going to be one of those easy bruises to heal, and that concerned her. How was she suppose to return to her nest if her wing was injured and not functioning correctly?

Virtigo shook slightly as he leaned against the cave wall, suprised they all took up the offer. His hazel eyes swept across the two people and three dragons, taking notice that one must have been wild if they stayed close the opening and away from them.
Normally, he would have started to stip out of the wet cloth clinging to his skin but then again, there were people here and they would be able to see his scars, seeing as there was enough light to manuver and see. Sliding his way further within where he had stashed branches and leaves, along with a satchel of salve, he gathered it all and headed back to where the others were.
Dropping the pile of sticks and leaves, Virtigo took out two rocks and started smarking them together, thankfull that they still worked when fire lit. Removing the leather around his waist, the outsider laid it upon a rock beside the fire to dry before moving away.
Looking over to the Nadder, that was barely covered from the storm, Virtigo headed over to her. Stepping carefully and making sure she was aware of him coming over. He couldn't help but think about how pretty she was, never having seen that color upon a dragon yet, and if she was even more stunning underneath the mud that coated her.
"Hey. You look hurt, do you want want help? I won't hurt you. You'd probably hurt me worse.
He smiled a bit at the Nadder, wanting to help and make sure she was okay. As he didn't want to try getting invovled with the other four, seeing as they could make sure the other was fine.

Arnorda began to warm, and regain consciousness, she spotted Virtigo at the end of the cave near a Nadder. Her head was still fuzzy and swirling with confusion, but she stood up anyways. She stumbled to her feet and walked towards Virtigo, then sat down near by.
"Im sorry if Darkness hurt you, outsider. I didn't know he would actually over-react that badly." She looked up at him, her dark blue eyes looking into his eyes. "My name is Arnorda. And you are...?" She asked him, wanting to know what his name was.
A low growl sounded from behind her, and she knew Darkness was watching her. He didnt seem pleased with the fact she was talking to an outsider. She waved a hand behind her, telling him to calm down. She heard a disapproved grunt from him, but she ignored it.
-------
Darkness was staring into the fire when Arnorda stirred. He looked over to her, seeing her stand up with a wobble, then walk towards the outsider. He growled when she was right beside him, and was talking to him.
His attention diverted towards the Nadder that sat near the entrance. "Hey you! Why are you sitting so far away? We don't bite." He called over.

Beow slid off calypso as soon as she came to a stop inside of the mouth of the cave. It was a pretty spacious cave- tall, wide and long. There would be plenty of room for three people and three dragons in the space, more than enough room in fact. He took a quick glance around, getting his bearings in the area. The cave was a little damp but it was better than the pouring rain. He much preferred it to outside at the moment.
Not much time had passed before the whispering death with the girl atop and the green nadder thundered into the cave after them. Beow saw the other young man who had led them to this cave look up as the others entered. The dragon and rider settled themselves on the opposite side across from him and Calypso. The Nadder, who seemed wild, quickly skittered to the very back of the cave. He saw it flop around one of its wing which appeared to be injured. The stranger who he had revived made his way back to the injured deadly nadder. The male dragon started a fire for his rider to keep her warm. With a flourish and a snort Calypso did the same, setting fire to a pile of sticks that she shoved over from a dry corner of the cave. Beow gave his dragon a firm pat in thanks for the gesture.
Beow warmed himself, taking his shirt off and ringing it out then setting it by the fire so it would hopefully dry. He ran his hands through his muddy, scraggly hair. His feet were cold, he set them by the fire to warm up. He set back on the cave wall, wincing a bit at the cold shock on his bare back from the cold stone.
He looked over the girl on the other side of the cave- getting a better look at her. He hadn't been able to see her too well in the forest. She was shivering alot, she seemed really cold, which was understandable- villagers were always soft. She stayed by the fire her dragon had made until she was warmer, then she rose to her feet and walked over to the other stranger who had walked over to the nadder. He heard them talking. He couldn't really tell what they were saying, just that they were speaking.
Beow wondered who these two people where- what their names were, what they were like, where they lived- things like that. He wondered if he would be approached or spoken to. Maybe these two knew each other. Beow didn't know. Then he looked at the two dragons other than calypso present. The male whispering death seemed a bit defensive and protective, while the green female deadly nadder seemed more passive and timid. Beow had never met any of these four and he wondered if they would ever really know each other. The young man sat and watched and waited for something to happen, questioning in his mind if anything was going to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Calypso watched curiously as the strange dragon provided a fire for that girl. Determined to show she was just as good as him she did the same for her rider. She gave a pleasant snort to Beow in satisfaction before throwing a smug look at the other dragon. The big galewing layed herself on the grey stone floor of the cave, her human in her vision as well as all the strangers who were in there as well. There wasn't much to do, she was pretty bored and she didnt feel like starting a conversation with that annoying male dragon or the 'fraidy, skittish female one. So she just lay next to her rider, like a good dragon. She looked out the mouth of the cave. What a shame for all this rain- they really had been having a nice time flying. She gave a huff and smoke whisps billowed from her nostrils. She gave her rider a bored look and spit a tiny shot at the fire just to keep the flames stoked. She sure hoped they could get out of here soon.
{(OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply DX)} 'Don't bite my behind.', the Nadder thought to herself as the male dragon of the group spoke. No, perhaps the reptilian companions that were in the cave with them wouldn't, but that didn't mean the humans didn't, and she wasn't going to risk getting so close to any one of those filthy humans. Though, that decision was quickly ended as the small human male suddenly came closer to her. With a sense of panic flashing over her dark, golden-orange eyes, Elise attempted to scramble up onto her feet once more, not wanting the fleshy being to harm or capture her in a way she had heard her mother describe when she was a wrymling. His words sounded like gibberish, the wild dragon only knowing a few, simple words of their language.
With her hurried scrambling, though, her attempt to stand greatly failed, her mud-covered feet slipping on the smooth surface beneath her. Falling back onto the ground, the Nadder quickly tensed as her eyes darted towards the young human. With an uneasy growl rumbling in her throat, Elise no longer knew what to do. His words had come to her in pieces and all the things she did manage to catch frightened her. 'hurt...you. Hurt you.' That was all she managed to translate and it caused her fear and panic to grow. Though, those weren't the only words, they were the ones that stood out the most, ignoring the 'help' and 'won't' that were somewhere placed in his speech.
