LIKES:
Summer likes a lot of things. But to narrow it down I will list a few. First of all, she loves to swim. She absolutely loves the feeling of the cold water and being able to basically glide right through it. Secondly, she loves to run. Each day she goes out on a 2 mile jog/run. Of course Fireworm isn't far behind her in case something goes wrong. Third, she loves her family and dragon (whom she considers family. Fourth, she loves flying with Fireworm and her brother on his dragon. She loves the feel of the air on her face and arms. Lastly, she basically loves any animal but isn't a vegetarian. She loves meat and veggies the same.
DISLIKES:
While Summer does like a lot of things, she also has her dislikes. One, would be blood. She cam stand herself bleeding from cuts, but if family, friends, animals, or dragons start bleeding she gets out of the area quick. She has no idea where this came from, but its been here her whole life. With that in mind, one would know that she doesn't like doctors all that much. She also doesn't like death. But then again many people don't. Whenever death comes up she gets sad and depressed, even though it only lasts like an hour or so. She doesn't really like spicy foods all that much. Yes, a little spice is okay, but anything hotter than mild makes her want to go stick her head in a bucket of water.
STRENGTHS:
As I mentioned earlier she has a passion for swimming/running/jogging. Those help keep her endurance up to where she is almost never tired. She is also pretty strong for her build. This is great for those late nights when she just wants to go hang with friends or go flying. She isn't afraid of heights when she is on dragons and so she is very confident. Even though she isn't the smartest in the village, she could be one of the smartest. She is also very responsible. This could be from having to raise her brother for almost two years because their parents died in a freak viking boat trip when they went to go check out another island.
WEAKNESSES:
Baby animals. Point blank. If she sees anything that small and adorable she will stop in her tracks and help it, no matter what danger she could get into by doing it. Her brother could be seen as a weakness because even though shes hard on him sometimes, she pretty much lets him get away with a lot of things (good things that is, not bad). If CGS (cute guy syndrome) is a weakness then count that. Herself and some friends will always go goggli-eyed at some of the viking around camp. While she is smart, she isn't able to adapt to a bad situation very well. Yes it takes an hour or so to stop being sad but then she still think about it.
FEARS:
Even though Summer does love flying, she has a fear that one day something will happen and it will be "Hey look Summer's falling off her dragon." Couple seconds pass. "KAPLAT!" She also is afraid of losing her brother or dragon, by losing she means death. She also has a small fear of spider. But only the poisonous ones. Regular ones she could care less about. She also would fear that one day when she falls deeply in love with someone and then they break her heart or do something that hurts her in some way.
AMBITIONS:
What does every Berks person want? Well to be champion of course. Summer thinks she has it in her too. She also wants to be the first to do something completely unheard of in her village. What that is...well she hasn't thought of it yet. But maybe someday soon she will. She also hopes to one day be the best will dragon tamer around. She wants to tame the dragons that are "untamabale". But other than all those things, she also wants to get a house away from her brother and start her own life once he can live on his own. Maybe even find a nice man.
SECRETS:
Summer is a pretty open person and thus has nearly no secrets. She does hide her crushes under covers when she has them. Though right now she has none. Another could be that when no one else in the village is awake, she sneaks out of her house (being careful that her brother isn't awake) and pulls pranks on people for the next morning.
PERSONALITY:
Summer can be very caring towards her family, friends, and dragon. She will always have their backs, even if that means fighting a little to protect them. She will even care for people that she doesn't know, if she sees them getting picked on at all. If people were to pick on her family at all, she would be right in their face. She would give up her life to protect her little brother. But, other than wanting to protect her brother and those that are younger than her, Summer can be a very nice individual. Though at times when she gets angry or mad she uses sarcasm.
Summer isn't one to jump into a situation unless its life or death. Instead she would rather sit on the sidelines for a second to think about the smartest move in the situation. She is also a very dependable person. You can tell her anything and she won't tell anyone else. No matter how tempting it might be. She likes being able to basically do whatever she wants although the drawback is sad in a way. If she has something on her mind she will keep to it until it gets done.

Summer has a face that looks young. She has a slight tan to her body. Her lips are small yet full. Her eyes are a very light brown, but seem to get darker sometimes. They are almost oval shaped. Her hair usually has slight curls to it. It ranges from a dark brown to a light brown given the season. In the summer it gets lighter, in the winter it gets darker. She has a small frame/build, but don't let that fool you. She is still quite strong. She is around 5'7" and approximately 135 pounds.
Summer loves to wear pants that are of darker material. For shirts she usually goes with shirts that are form fitting but have short sleeves. If she rides Fireworm, you will always see her with a pair of fingerless gloves for when Fireworm does douse her body in fire. Her bow and arrows will almost always be on her back when running through the forest of flying through that air, since she never knows when she might need them. For shoes, she will wear the boots with the fur on top during winter, or regular boots with no fur during summer. During winter, you can see her with jackets and pants. For formal events she may try to find a skort, even if there aren't too many.
HISTORY:
Summer grew up in Berks with her mom and dad. From the very beginning they could tell she was a bright kid. She would do things that wouldn't get her into trouble, and she absolutely adored her parents dragons. Her mom had the common Deadly Nadder and her dad had the Flamehuffer. Yes, two dragons that had nothing in common but Summer loved them just the same. Summer would spend all her time with those dragons that she wasn't inside being taught things.
After a year passed another little child was born into the family. This was her brother Mitch. Of course Summer loved Mitch, but she hated the fact that he stole the attention of her parents. So as the two grew up, Summer started spending more and more time with her parents dragons. Soon enough the dragons were flying her around. When she was around the age of 6 she was walking around the village looking at all the other dragons. A lot of the people would get nervous when she would walk up to the more dangerous dragons, but the dragons never hurt her.
When she was 10 her parents started going on fishing trips with other vikings. Of course Summer and Mitch would stay behind with the dragons. Summer was almost always in charge though. A couple more years passed and Summer got into the viking-in-training program. She excelled mostly with the bow so her mother and father hand-crafted her one that she still uses today. 2 more years passed and Summer was 14. It was the time for her to pick out her dragon. All her family had gotten them at age 14 no matter what.
Summer already had a dragon breed in mind and there was no way it was going to change. As her parents and brother followed her into the area dragons stopped moving. Many had their eyes on her almost pleading to take them home with her. One in particular was standing in the back with its eyes like slits staring at her. She smiled at the dragon and started walking towards it. Of course she had seen this dragon only a couple times but each time it was wild. This one still had that wild look in its eyes which Summer adored.
With slow steps Summer walked up to the dragon. She reached out her hand to it and was surprised when the dragons head nudged her hand. When she started walking back out of the area, her parents waited seeing what dragon followed her. The look of surprise in their eyes made Summer want to start laughing. Everyday after that, Summer spent every moment with her dragon. She even went so far as to sleeping outside with Fireworm. Her parents loved the fact that she and her dragon were so close.
But Summer should've been paying more attention to her parents then anything else for time together would be short spent. Almost one year after, Summer was 15, her parents went on a fishing trip. When the boats returned, Summer's parents weren't on any of them. Summer ran to everyone until she finally found out that there had been a ruff storm and the boat had tipped knocking her parents off balance and into the ocean. Summer stood there dumb-founded, not knowing what to say, think, or feel.
She slowly walked back to her house to tell her brother what she had learned. When she told him he had broke down into tears. Summer had embraced him and the two cried for the whole day. 2 more years passed by slowly. they tried to move on with their lives. Mitch would listen to Summer just like their parents but i wasn't the same. The Nadder and Flamehuffer were restless, so Summer sent them out into the wild where they could live on their own. That was another sad day but it had needed to be done. The month before Summer turned 17 Summer graduated the viking-in-training program and became Berks Viking.
That's where she is now. Every once in awhile she will go help the vikings-in-traings or she spends time in the forest trying to tame wild dragons. Her brother and her get along extremely well. Whenever something happens in the forest, Fireworm is always right there. While it be to protect Summer from the wild, or just to keep her company. The two get along like best friends.

Sweet and kind to Summer, Mitch, and Night. But protective of them also. She can be a bit testy when it comes to new dragons around them as she doesn't want either of them getting hurt. She's only ever mean when the time is needed. But she likes to be first into battle and last out of battle.
DRAGON TECHNIQUES:
Liquid Coat- Entire body (apart from where Summer sits) gets doused in flame.
Regular fire- Just the normal Nightmare flame spouts.
Flying- Can fly for long distances with all the flying an running Summer and her do.

Summer flew over a grassy field. Her dragon's huge body had the start of a coat of fire over it. As she looked around, her eyes scanned for anyone other than her brother. He was supposed to be holding down the fort back at the little cave they had found. She looked down at the grass and noticed that it rained while they had slept. The ground looked squishy with water and in some places little mud puddles covered the ground. As they continued to fly, the sky started to fill with little clouds. "I don't want to give up searching yet." She said to her dragon. They had been trying to find Berk for days, and so far it they were not succeeding. When you were at the end of a huge grassy field, you had tons of places to look.
Summer made her dragon bank next to a tree that had enough coverage for both Fireworm and herself. She hopped off the back of Fireworm and started to sit down next to the trunk. Her legs ached from holding onto her dragon for what had seemed like hours. She stomach growled from not eating since last night. It was now the middle of the day. Almost a full day she had gone without eating. Though Fireworm had flown off in the middle of the night to go catch a deer, Summer had wanted no part in it. She believed that she should catch food for herself, or that someone else could. But taking from her dragon she felt was wrong. As she sat down, her dragon curled up around her. So instead of leaning on the tree, she was leaning on the neck of her dragon.
Summer looked at Fireworm though tired eyes and smiled. The Monstrous Nightmare had it's wings folded up against it's sides with her legs tucked underneath her. As she watched the dragon get settled for a little break, she was surprised when Fireworm's head appeared in her lap. Her dragon looked up at her rider with amber-yellow eyes as she quickly fell to a soft slumber. Summer's head fell against her dragon's warm body and she gave a quiet laugh. "That isn't a bad idea." She yawned and stretched before pressing herself closer to her dragon. A light wind had begun to pick up and she started to shiver. The cold getting right to her since she had no jacket. When she started to get slightly colder, her teeth started to chatter. "Why the heck did I forget a jacket?" She questioned herself. As she tried to get warm, she saw a faint shadow of someone or something not far off. It looked to be a dragon and rider but she wasn't sure. If they stopped she would have a few things to ask them, but if they didn't, then oh well. There were more days.
