PERSONALITY: Ulrika has quite a carefree personality, probably due to very relaxed parents. She often explores the world by herself when she's not training to be a fully-fledged Viking. She is a very easily influenced child, and looks up to everyone as a potential role model. She tends to daydream when she's bored, so sometimes she can appear aloof. She likes to talk to people and find out what they do and how they tamed their dragons if they have one. Because she is easily influenced, she will easily believe anything that anyone says, even if two different and conflicting views are told. Sometimes, even her attitude will be reflected, for example, someone she's talking to or a close friend is angry, she will also mimic the anger subconsciously, even though she isn't angry at all. If she is being taunted or treated badly, Ulrika will not hesitate to retort fiercely, defending her pride, family, or whatever the subject is at the time. Because of this, she can be an incredibly loyal friend.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Like most people of her Nordic origins, Ulrika has long blonde hair, often tied back in a pony tail. She has an athletic build and is quite strong. She tends to wear skirts made out of animal hides, with leggings underneath. She has knee-length, fur-lined boots with lots of buckles running down the side. Her shoulders are kept bare, wanting to show off tattoos in the future. Her top is made out of wool and wears furry arm warmers, also made out of hides. All the hides she caught herself, so she takes pride in her clothing.
HISTORY: For a Viking kid, Ulrika is pretty much average. Being brought up around Vikings, she had obviously inherited the classic traits - a passion for weapons, fighting, and of course, a huge interest in dragons. After a while her aloofness caused a rift between her and the other Viking children, she slowly began to distance herself from the others. Growing up, she would often train by herself, occasionally sparring with the others, and surprisingly quite good. During times of solitude she was able to marvel at nature and her surroundings, and became attached to it. From this has grown a constant urge of curiosity and desire to explore.
Her parents, who focused more of their attention towards her older and favoured sister, Caedence, never paid much attention nor concern for Ulrika's whereabouts - as long as she still came home every night.
Now thirteen, and training to become a fully fledged Viking, it has become her task to find and tame a dragon to be accepted as a true Hairy Hooligan Viking. Still new to life, not much drama has occurred yet - this will most probably happen when she hits puberty, and she begins to feel and act in a way she will never have done before.

RP EXAMPLE OF THE CHARACTER YOU'RE APPLYING FOR:
Ulrika was frolicking around the dragon training arena. It had been a good training session today - no dragons didn't get tempted to chew her legs off this time. Sitting on the edge of a cliff, she kicked her legs freely over the edge, a huge height between her and the jagged rocks and roaring waves below.
Basking in the sun, a rustle could be heard behind her. Tilting her head back further, she watched with intrigue as a green and yellow Terrible Terror suddenly fell out of the brush, as seen in the upside-down vision. Rolling onto her front and bringing a hand forwards, she coaxed the little dragon to come closer.
"What's your name?" Ulrika asked. The little beast paused, watching the human, before snorting and flying away. The girl pouted, her face planting into the mud. Why did dragons not like her? The other children had no problem finding and taming dragons, and Ulrika couldn't even get the more social dragons to be friendly.
She watched as one of the other fellow trainees left the area, an orange Deadly Nadder chick trotting playfully at his heels. He had stopped, seeing that Ulrika had once again failed miserably. He gave a laugh, which the little dragon beside him mimicked. "Wow, you can't even get a Terrible Terror to come close! How bad are you! I bet you'll get banished by next week!"
Ulrika scowled and marched right up to him. "You're just scared because I might get a better dragon than you! You fail anyway, because you didn't tame this dragon, you raised it from the egg! It's cheating!" She smirked, an idea flashing in her mind. "'Sides, it'll probably take years before you could even ride that thing!" She motioned a hand to the googly-eyed dragon chick. Whilst he was distracted looking at his dragon, she slapped his face and made a run for it, scampering up a rocky pillar to it's normally inaccessible summit.
Once at the top, she stuck his tongue at him. Her fingertips were bruised and bloodied from the long climb, but it was completely worth it.
