BREED: Deadly Nadder
LIKES: - Making sure her scales are in good shape.
- Hunting.
- Practicing her flying manoeuvers (loop-the-loops, barrel rolls etc).
- Being mischevous towards both Vikings and Dragons.
- Sunning herself
- Exploring the islands overhead
DISLIKES: - Getting wet or muddy.
- Watching dragons actually capable of aerobatics.
- Getting Hungry
- Hates having her well-earned catch stolen from her
- Being told she isn't as pretty as she thinks she is.
STRENGTHS: - Able to navigate through forests at speed (Both running or flying)
- Good accuracy when throwing her tail-spikes
- Sharp claws, which she swipes with, cut through vegetation, etc.
- Very hot fire
WEAKNESSES: - Despite Scratchet having very hot fire than usual, she has an even shorter shot limit than normal, and takes a few hours to regenerate.
- With enough flattery she can succomb to the will of whoever is speaking.
-Blind Spot between the eyes, she has a bad habit of not checking if anything is there, but she can still smell.
- Short temper
FEARS: - She hates water, doesn't even step in the smallest of puddles.
- Being unable to escape/ enclosed spaces
- Very big dragons.
- Very aggressive Vikings, will attack out of fear unless first provoked
PERSONALITY: As Deadly Nadders go, Scratchet is pretty much average. She enjoys preening herself leisurely, and one of her biggest hobbies is to cause mischief among Dragons and lone Vikings, sometimes even daring to enter the village of Berk itself! She can be easily coaxed with food and flattery, and wont hear anything about her physique any other way, or she'll go nuts on you. She does have an aloof attitude, often wishing to soar like the sky dragons, she will attempt at aerial displays - and consequently fail. She will forget to check her blind spots a lot, only seeming to twist her head when she smells something foreign and meaty.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Scratchet has the signature large, round head with two small, beady yellow eyes on each side. Her nose horn does not have a very sharp curve. She is a bright turquoise colour with the occasional splodges of a similar tone of blue. The topside of her wings are emblazoned with fiery orange and yellow markings, however her underbelly and chin are the standard yellow. She has long muscular legs and sharp tail spines, which are kept flattened when out of use. She has a few orange and yellow markings on her head, but not as much as on the wings (Just a few connected spots here and there)
ABILITIES: Scratchet flys very energetically, often attempting tricks along the way. Her fire is straight and almost a pale yellow at the centre, with a hot orange on the outside. Her fire can melt metals very quickly.
HISTORY: A few paragraphs. Include any Viking encounters. When Scratchet was young, the dragons were still getting used to the new alliance with the Vikings. Where some dragons were willing to cooperate, some weren't, and our poor Nadder chick was in the middle of it. She grew up outside of the the Viking village, slightly wary of the humans but at the same time was curious. She often got into trouble with her elders for her mischevous actions.
In her juvenile years, she finally became brave enough to prank on the humans, now much taller than most Vikings. Her first attempt failed, recieving a nasty beating on the head from the club of the victim. As with her elders, it didn't faze her much. She continued playing around.
As she grew older, her more mischevous acts were quieting down and becoming milder as everyone is no longer suprised. She still often has the guts to do a rampage through the town, causing no harm. Her attitude is making the Viking adults tell their children not to attempt to tame her.
FRIENDS, OTHER FAMILY: Her mischief has made her pretty unpopular despite her somewhat good heart.
