Timber became agitated as Ulrika was still nowhere to be seen, and the children were allocated to different dragons that weren't their own to try retrieve treasures from the guarded boxes. Chad finally spoke to the Night Fury once again, asking her to go find an retrieve Ulrika.
Needless to say the dragon was a little cheesed that she had to leave her box, and in a sort of humiliating way had to leave the arena to find the stupid child again. Hugging the walls of the arena she quietly slunk out the arena, trying not to draw too much attention to herself... Oh this wasn't a good start at all to get some sort of reputation...
Timber grumbled to herself sniffing near the entrance where they landed. Unfortunately the dragon's sense of smell wasn't as great as the more land-based dragons. She remembered in which way Ulrika had stormed off in a hurry, so decided to follow that way.
She padded around the rocks for a while, occasionally catching a whiff of Ulrika's scent, before she could soon hear the deep breathing of someone sleeping, not far away. Looking around she found no one, until the scent again made her look up instead. Sure enough, she could see a pair of feet poking over the edge of the rocks above. Timber grumbled. Why did she need a dragon that can fly if she can already reach inaccessible places?
With a couple of wingflaps she took to the skies, rising above the ledge Ulrika was on and landing a little way up, where she could get some foothold. Flying past her somehow hadn't really roused the girl at all, only turning on her side slightly. It was windy enough up here, and now Ulrika was dangerously close to the edge. Timber growled, slowly raising in volume.
It wouldn't do, so she gave a small roar, which woke Ulrika instantly, almost falling off the edge, if it wasn't for her tight grip on the rocks. Ulrika looked up and scowled at Timber, she was about to scold the dragon before Timber cautiously attempted to make her way down, with difficulty, to at least get to a place where Ulrika could mount.
Timber motioned with her head and a growl once more towards the arena below. Ulrika followed the dragon's gaze and realised the lesson had begun without her. Again. Ah, Problem.
Instead of climbing up the short distance to jump on Timber's back, she immediately began to scrabble and make a hasty descent down the cliff face. The Night Fury rolled her eyes slightly as the child didn't see the easier solution, once more lunging forwards to the ledge where Ulrika was and grabbing the scruff of her clothes again before she disappeared over the side. Ulrika flailed before she was swung back onto the cliff, clutching onto the dragon's saddle for support, not wanting to fall off the precarious edge. With a Night Fury occupying the space, it was a dangerous squeeze.
Ulrika finally realised the solution, and hopped onto Timber's back. Timber gave a sigh of relief before dropping off the cliff, swooping over the arena, before turning sharply around and landing before the huge gates. Ulrika hopped off almost before the dragon had properly landed, scurrying into the arena. Timber followed in afterwards, unimpressed. Before returning to her box she tapped Ulrika over the head with the 'wrist' of her wing.
"Oww What was that for?!" She whined at the dragon, but she got no response from the sleek black creature, that padded back to it's little box of goodies. Ulrika turned back to Chad, seeing the other classmates already assigned to dragons, taking their first steps towards their chosen dragons... That weren't their own.
Chad quickly gave the lowdown on what to do and assigned Ulrika to Sapphira, directing her to the towering blue dragon. Ulrika sharnk a little, unsure what to do. Get the chest? What chest? She didn't see that the box was hidden under the dragon's wing. She was also unfamiliar with the dragon species. With the more common species Ulrika knew how to deal with, mostly on the escaping point of things, but with dragons she hadn't met in the wild, she was at a loss...
"You're kinda like Hermes..." Ulrika commented aloud. "But bigger... and blue." She wondered how to even get the chest, if the dragon even had one. She finally directed her words to the dragon. "Do you even have a chest?!" She asked loudly.

Irrite nodded as he watched everyone got to their assigned dragons. It looked like Venny was mad at Camo for ditching her. Now that rash way to get him out of bed was understandable. Irrite looked at the line of beasts, all were scary one way or another, and he got the scariest one out of all of them. Irrite always feared the Boneknapper, who couldn't? With a gulp Irrite stepped toward Nappy with a fearful look. Nervously adjusting his scarf out of habit, he took a more sturdy stance.
"Hey there, fella. You don't happen to live up to the name Nappy do you? It would be nice if you were to fall asleep in the midst of this," Irrite nervously chuckled with a grin. He swore some of the Vikings in Training had shook their heads sadly at him. With a sigh Irrite was ready to get what ever was in that chest. What ever it was it better be worth it, he had been dragged out of bed painfully, and got matched up with Nappy who was hopefully a really nice dragon. Now if the Trio of Terror had got out of his way today that would had been worth the trouble he went through today.
With a last huff of confidence, he made a mental plan on what to do. He was going to run around in circles fast enough to make the Boneknapper dizzy and open the chest and make a run for it. If it were going to be easy which Irrite believes it to be.

Post by Sven & Hermes on Feb 26, 2013 18:55:11 GMT -5
Sven smiled at the recognition of his fellow outsider, on the slightly scruffy side of things. He also took delight in how Thirit was also excited about the lesson, though perhaps not for the same reasons as the Dragonologist. He shook the man's hand in greeting. "Yeh lihf" He replied, trying again at his hand in Konihk, not wanting to lose the language again, with a Snow Raider around. Sven grinned. "Fai, tak ghai ghayel rawar fenol yeh?"
As Wycliffe moved towards Hermes, Sven followed, as the Snow Raider spoke with the dragon, trying to get into her good books. A smart move. Sven watched as Hermes raised her neck and took her majestic-looking pose, just trying to flaunt herself as much as she could. Any friend of Sven was a friend of hers, since it meant they posed to threat to her. The compliments to her stature gave extra points though.
After Sven let Wyclifee brush himself down from his endeavors with the makeshift hut, Sven hopped on Hermes and pulled Wycliffe as well, knowing the dragon could carry maximum two people on her back. With that, they set off.
In the air, Sven pulled from his pocket two thin bones he found at a long-aged dragon skeleton he had found the other day. He gave one to Wycliffe. "Here! I hear the teacher has a BoneKnapper. They like adding bones to their armour, so this gift will help the dragon get on your good side, if Chad invites you to participate!" Sven said over the winds. Working with dragons, Sven always had a foresight for these sort of things, and his bag was also full of various dragon-goodies to help him out of any firey situation. The bag itself was frequently scented with dragon-repelling oils, so he wasn't constantly harassed by dragons trying to steal his bag.
They soon arrived at the arena, with Hermes calling out loud, signalling her arrival. The Ambassador landed by the side and stopped to allow the two men to dismount, before trotting near the bars and looking into the arena, curious.
Sven was also at the bars looking in now, his face lighting up at the vast array of dragons presented before him. He knew most of these dragons... There was Arya's Longwing, Sapphira, Camo the Changewing... And so on, but there was one dragon he hadn't expected to see...
Night Fury. Sven gaped in awe as his eyes lay on the magnificent beast, stocky, heavy chested... Black as night. He grinned, moving around the arena to get closer to the dragon. He waved to Chad as he came into view down below. He had only heard of this dragon, seen once before as Asther's dragon. He didn't have the chance to study it then. But this wasn't Puff. Sven was out of town when Ulrika had revealed to the village her new dragon, so he was clueless, even not considering the dragon could belong to Ulrika. He would find out soon enough.
He was just about to draw his book out when he heard Hermes. "Hey, how come they all have a box and not me!" Hermes complained. Colour drained from Sven's face a little as he saw the dragon head towards the gate of the arena.
"Hermes, no no no no NO no n...nauggh, the box is lost." He protested before groaning as he missed catching Hermes. Chad had brought along a spare box to make things worse too! Sven facepalmed before sighing heavily. He then shrugged. "Well! This is going to end well." He said sarcastically. He turned back again to his optimal Night-Fury-Stalking position, a little hope lost now.
He frowned as he watched Hermes take up a space next to the Night Fury. The Sharp-Class dragon had a grin on her face as she was explained the rules of the game, making Sven groan more, leaning on the bars. This was going to end disastrously. He knew it now, now that Hermes was in possession of a box.
He doodled some quick sketches of the Night Fury. The dragon didn't look to happy to be here. But Sven realised that Timber wasn't really doing much, so the observation studies were quickly ceased. He'd be able to see what Night Furies were like later, when a child would be assigned to it.
OOC: Idk if i already said this or whatever, but Im thinking at some point Chad could maybe call down Sven when the kids are being terrible to show them HOW its done. Like a sort of 'correction' so they can see where they went wrong lol.

When Ulrika finally walked in with Timber, Chad told her everything she needed to know and watched as she walked over to the Longwing. Chad in turn leaned up against the wall a few feet away from everyone. Here he had a good vantage point and could interrupt a student if they were going at it wrong. He just wished that Sven was here already. The dragonoligist would be extremely helpful. His gaze narrowed in on Grima and Dagger. Hopefully nothing bad would happen but his Terrible Terrors attitude was very random at times.
Dagger's eyes narrowed as the boy approached him. He let out a soft hiss, warning him not to get too close. With his arms opened wide the Terror looked to each hand before his eyes went back to the boys face. Then he started speaking. He was apologizing. This was slightly different than how Dagger thought this was going to end up. He said he didn't know about Ulrika growing up but he had. And then he said sorry. Dagger was conflicted. He wanted to still stay mad at this boy, this Grima. But he was being nice and he seemed sincere. It seemed to be a couple minutes of deciding before the Terror opened up his wings and jumped at Grima. He landed on the boys shoulder and looked to the chest. "Go for it before I change my mind." He said nothing else. He waited until Grima grabbed one of the packages before flying back over and landing on top of it. Chad smiled as Grima completed the first task. He must have said something really good to Dagger to cross the hate filled bridge that Dagger had for him. Chad nodded his head before speaking out to him. "Well done Grima. You may advance to-" He had been about to say Fireworm since Nappy and Saphria were still taken. But a certain Ambassador had taken residence on the last chest that Chad had laid out just in case. "You may move on to Hermes." He gave a small smile as he turned to Sven. "Hey Sven. Finally come to watch I see?"His eyes went back to the rest of the class watching as Venny interacted with the Skrill. She looked nervous but who wouldn't be? Bryn was talking to the Zippleback, which could be good. But he was still wary of the head that produced gas. Then he turned to Ulrika. She was asking about he chest and Chad couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. He wasn't that mean that he would put a dragon in here without one. Saphria had stayed silent after the next dragon spoke. Just a slight nod to show that she understood what he was speaking about. It was awhile before a small blonde girl appeared in front of her. Saphria could tell she was a little nervous and her face eased up a bit. The girl started muttering and being big and blue and Saphria let out a slow happy rumble. She liked being talked about of course. And when people admired her color and size it made her happy. Then the girl spoke louder, asking about her chest. Saphria nodded as she lifted her wing slightly so that Ulrika could see it. "Indeed I do little one." She rumbled softly and awaited her next move. Chad looked to Irrite and Nappy. Irrite seemed to be thinking up a plan, and while Nappy was looking at the young boy he looked bored. When he heard the comment about falling asleep he rolled his eyes. Of course the young student wouldn't know that Napoy was named Nappy because Chad's younger sister couldn't pronounce the word BoneKnapper. Then the name had kind of stuck with the older dragon. Nappy's eyes were trained on the boy. The comment about falling asleep had made him think that the boy was really incompetent. There were small holes in his armor from the war. Holes in which he and Chad hadn't been able to find any bones for. Now if this young boy had one, he could automatically get into the chest. But it seemed as if he didn't and Napoy was wondering what Irrite was cooking up his sleeves. Fireworm sat there watching all the kids. She was trying to find out which one was the smartest of the bunch. Seeing as how Grima had already advanced, she looked forward to her session with him. But some of the kids were looking nervous or scared of the dragons they had to face. She just hoped they didn't show that in front of her. No way were they going to get past if they were. The dragon glared at Grima the entire time he talked and for a good time after. Will he forgive me enough to let me get the thing? Grima wondered the whole time, Or is the grudge going to stick and is he about to hiss at me? he was fully prepared to jump out the way if the dragon started hissing. He was so prepared infact he had to stop himself from doing that said jump when the dragon flew at him.
He kept himself still though and Dagger landed on his shoulder and told him to take a package. He gave out a slight sigh of relief before withdrawing as the dragon jumped back on the box. Chad congratulated him, though Grima was glad his teacher had no understanding of dragonese, using the terror’s grudge against him probably wouldn’t have gone down well with Chad…though maybe it would?
Either way, the teacher assigned him to the dragon that had just come in. He’d seen Hermes around a few times over the time that Sven had been living on the island, but he’d never had any actual contact with the species so he had no idea how to deal with the dragon. As he took the few steps he needed to to approach his next dragon, Grima carefully scanned the dragon.
It looked very different from any other type of dragon that was on Berk, it’s body was very mammalian in style, but his head had a very bird like feel and it’s scales at first glance looked like feathers. As he looked at the dragon he got slightly worried, he knew nothing about this type of dragon, how did it fight? What was it’s fire like? What would set the thing off?
He could only tell one thing, the dragon looked like, even though it had only had the box for like twenty second, it wouldn’t be likely to let Grima get anywhere near the box it was safeguarding. In fact as soon as he did get close (and by close I mean only just past the Night fury), the dragon kept it’s eye contact on him and it’s scales started to poke out.
So it’s a sharp class, Grima thought, looking at how razorlike the scales were. Maybe she’d be like other sharp classes in that they’re proud…and hopefully not in the shooting out spikes or stupidly powerful fire. So he tried a complimant.
While this was going on, the Zippleback watched as the their ViT combatant tried to work what to do. Flint smiled slightly at how carefully the girl was trying to get to them without provoking her. She knew it was her she worried about more because the girl was looking at her than Stahl. I’m really not gonna do anything girl, the left head thought, I’d more worry about the one making the smokescreen than the one that would never make a spark right now.
Flint was the only one to nod when she asked her questions, and even said hi back when she introduced herself.

WIth a nervous chuckle, Venny had taken a step back from the stain from the fire snorted out from the Skrill. "Impatience I see," she manage to say out as she continued her gaze back at Shock. She never did understand how Bryn managed to ride Shock without being shocked (pun intended). Adjusting her hat with a confident face, she had began to try her plan. Taking her metal helmet off to avoid the electricity hitting her head.
Venny had gripped the rim of her ram horned helmet and trotted over to Shock, remembering she could harm or insult the dragon, they never said they could taunt. "So, Shocky, you look stunning today. Get your spines done today?" Getting nearer to the chest, Camo, whom was in the background had covered his eyes with his claws, not daring to watch his partner get barbecued. But what Venny had in plan was to lure Shock away from the chest so that she could quickly run to it and jet out of there.
While Camo was watching, he couldn't help but just groan. "This kid is going to get herself killed," he sighed as he moved his claws above his eyes to his forehead. "I hope these guys have a medical crew..."
((Fixed! Sorry I keep thinking the word limit is 150))

"Did I-" Shock was too mad to even issue a proper threat. "What do you think I am, some Sharp dragon?" The Skrill was now officially mad at Sharpblade. Shock's spines stood up straight, her body crackled with electricity, and her eyes fairly glowed with anger. White fire shot out of her mouth towards the Viking-In-Training, even as she leaped forward with a snarl of anger, intending to pin Sharpblade down with her claws. Oh, yes. Sharpblade would pay. - Bryn heard her dragons snarl of outrage and completely forgot about the Zippleback, the box, or the exercise. All she knew was that her dragon was a millisecond away from going nuts, and her head whipped around like a puppet's. "Shock, no!" She called, running towards the infuriated female even as she lunged forward. Shock's tail was lashing. While Bryn hadn't heard what the VIT had said, she'd obviously paid Shock what the Skrill considered to be a deadly insult. Cursing the stubborn, mischievous VIT, she stepped between Shock and Venny when the dragon drew in a breath to send out a second shot of fire, and happened to look past the dragon to the box, and very nearly avoided cursing at the dragon herself. The box was gone. In it's place, some shattered, partially torched wood. Oh Shock... what did you do? She thought in dismay. Then she turned towards Venny. "As for you," she snapped, "keep your rude comments to yourself, Sharpblade."

Ulrika heard Chad's voice congratulating Grima on his sucess with Dagger. She scowled at that. He was always getting ahead! At the same time, she did come in late, but she didn't take in that fact.
When Sapphira revealed the chest, she misinterpreted it that she had proved herself worthy, and beaming, boldly marched forwards to get to the chest.
Before she could get anywhere near her prize, commotion rang out as Hermes entered the arena, snagging the last box. If Hermes was here, Sven wasn't far... usually. She looked up to see Sven on the other side of the arena, and Wycliffe! She gave them a wave. With Sven watching, it gave her a certain confidence that she would be sure to get things right.
Venny, her classmate, had somehow angered Shock the Skrill one dragon away from her. It got to a point where the already terrifying-looking dragon was very hostile. Knowing Venny, though, she probably tried to prank the dragon or something, though Ulrika hadn't been paying attention to what her classmate was up to. Bryn had to intervene to calm her dragon down before someone got hurt. Ulrika didn't wonder why Venny didn't take cover or something.
During this time of observation Ulrika had already broken an important rule - keeping an eye on the dragon you're dealing with. She was too busy looking at all the chaos going on nearby, and glad it wasn't her for once.

Irrite distinctly had chuckled nervously once more, he had suggested he had struck a nerve to the Boneknapper. By this time the foe must imagine the boy's dumber than a bucket of rusty nails. Then it hit him, with a grin, he had scrapped the plan of just dashing around in circles. That plan would unquestionably back fire anyways. "Righty-o, not tired I see," he brushed his hand back his wavy hair while planning how he could fool the dragon guarding the chest. Perhaps thinking out loud would help him make a fool of him self.
"Alright, so I go to the right and push the dragon, good plan!" He declared out loud quietly, although loud enough for Nappy to hear. Once he was about to execute his plan of brilliance, he was interrupted by Venny's ordeal over with Shock"Venny?" He asked suddenly as the boy instantaneously turned his head where the event was taking place. It turns out the prankster was having issues with the Skrill, and Bryn had distinctly came to the rescue. Whatever Venny had said, it must had been a malignant reproach of some sort. Knowing the Sharpblade, it probably was, but does that mean she's out?
Irrite shook his head, her loss, and back to the dragon. If Nappy was distracted with Venny, he reminded himself to thank her foolish ways later. For now he dashed the left side of the chest, following his plan on acting dumb.

Hermes inspected her box. It smelt good, it had no real appearance of anything spectacular. It was just a little boring wooden chest. But it was hers and that was all that mattered right now.
She noticed movent nearby and overheard something to do with a Grima and herself. She had no idea who or what Grima was, but as soon as she saw one of the ViT's change his course towards her she began to bristle, and put a foot on top of the chest, short claws flexing, ready to scoot the object away from any possible intruders.
Sven watched as Chad directed Grima to Hermes instantly. So far he was the only one to have succeeded, and he seemed to be the most competent out of all the teenagers. Sven began to watch Hermes instead of the Night Fury, because he was interested to see whether it was truly possible to get to a possessive Ambassador. He wondered, from a fresh point of view, the boy might pull something off that Sven might not have originally thought of to get past the dragon.
He also wondered why Chad hadn't let the kids go one at a time, so that it'd be easier to keep an eye on one kid in danger rather than 5 of them being in danger at the same time. He was interested to see how the other kids were doing but right now Hermes was closest to his viewpoint and was posing the most interest for the dragonologist.
Commotion rang out which distracted Sven, but he was used to being aware and having to keep an eye on more than one thing at once. He hadn't heard what Venny had said, but either way Sven hadn't studied Skrill enough to know whether they were naturally agressive or if it was just this indiviual with pride or anger issues. He was glad Bryn had abandoned her task to calm her dragon, otherwise he wouldn't have liked to think what might have happened next. The box was destroyed, so Sven wondered whether Bryn's dragon would be able to further participate. There was no way Hermes would give her borrowed box back to anyone.
Hermes was briefly distracted by the commotion as well, but the approaching Grima made her concentration fix on him instead. Her scales slowly grew erect the further he approached, though she made no motion or noise as of yet. She wasn't aware of the idea of the exercise, so she didn't know what Grima would do, but she didn't like the way the kid was looking at her.
When he stopped in front of her, she could tell he was examining her, and her back and neck began to arch and started rasping a growl, wings and tail rudders spread slightly to make her look bigger. Some scales shuddered slightly as she tensed up threateningly. The boy attempted to flatter her.
She stopped growling, raising her head slightly to look regal, but still threatening enough to try ward off the stupid human from her treasure. She shook her head slightly, rattling those standing scales along her neck in the process.
"I know." She said. But then she looked down and arched her neck again, her nostrils flaring slightly. "Now go away." She snapped in response. In a fluid motion she kicked the chest back so that it slid along the floor behind her, catching it just in time with by stomping her hind foot instead, keeping her treasure away from the boy. He was not getting it.

((Alright. Sounds good. Sorry this is a bit late. I've been busy with school, work, and finishing up house preparations for the open house that was today. But here it is ^.^)) Chad watched Grima for a moment. His eyes flicking between the young boy and the dragon. As the scales started to rise he froze. Crap. He hadn't told Hermes what was supposed to happen. He watched for awhile longer as Grima started talking. But he wasn't able to really hear. He saw Hermes flick the box back and automatically knew that Hermes really had no idea. Cautiously he walked up to them. Staying far behind Grima since he didn't want to interfere. But then he had a better idea. Sven was here and obviously knew his dragon better. He waved for Sven to come near and when the dragonoligist would he would start speaking.
"Can you explain it to Hermes. She supposed to let the students get near the box only if they figure out what the right way to approach them is. There goal is to get to the box, though it is her decision. She probably won't listen to me since I'm not her owner and don't know her very well. But I take it that she will more or less listen to you over me. Can you try please? I don't want the risk of anyone getting hurt by her not knowing." She would be an excellent edition to the class, but only if the kids weren't in danger.
Fireworm's eyes continued to stay on the Skrill as far as dragon species went, the Nightmare never particularly liked that breed all too much. She found them too wild. Too untamable. Heck, her own breed was bad, she knew this, but Skrills...she just didn't like them. So when Irrite started talking Fireworm tenses waiting for an out lash of sorts. And she got it. The dragons went on full rage. And just as Fireworm was about to jump in Bryn jumped in front of Shock and tried to calm her down. Fireworm's eyes stayed on the scene in case she was needed. But when she saw that Chad had gotten over to the scene, she shifted slightly into a more relaxed yet alert state.
Chad turned as soon as he heard the growl. He started to run over as Bryn beat him to it. She stood in front of her dragon and he almost cursed. Yes. Save the other kid but never put yourself in front of a pissed off dragon no matter if it was yours. She was just lucky her dragon had stopped. As for Venny he walked over to the young ViT, his face a stone. "Out now. You can watch from up there. I thought I made it clear. I didn't think I had to throw every bad thing in there and taunting can obviously be an insult. You are through with this exercise."
He waited for the young girl to start walking out before turning to Bryn and Shock with a sigh. "I don't want to have to toss you out as well Shock. But there are no more boxes. Sorry. You may stay and wait for Bryn to be done or leave. The choice is up to you too. Bryn. Get back to the Zippleback please." He paused a moment contemplating. "Thank you for stopping your dragon. It was foolish yet brave to stand in front of her."
Saphira of course had watched the whole commotion as well. She was one to intervene, but seeing it all under control stopped. Instead, she turned her gaze back to the young ViT. She shuffled her wings, placing the left back over the box once more as she reached forward and grabbed the young girl by the scruff of her jacket between two talons. Being careful not to drop her hurt her she lifted her up and turned the young girl to face her. She gave a small warble and a satisfied nod as she placed the girl back on the ground. She lifted her head slightly, curving it to look at her and watch to see what she would do.
Nappy watched the boy curiously. This boy was up to something. That much was obvious. His eyes stayed on the boy as he chortled. Push him over! As if! He was way to big for a mere boy to do that! Then the commotion had happened. His head perked up to look over at what was happening. His attention would've stayed over there had he not heard Irrite start running to the left. He looked back at the boy, his eyes narrowing but not acting as he draped a protective wing over the box, curious to see what he would do.
Dagger on the other hand, could care less about the commotion. He looked over at it with a bored expression as he sat on his chest. He gave a chortled sort of laughter as the Skrill crushed her box, ruining her chance of being in here anymore. He was surprised to see Chad not start yelling. But he knew the man. It took a lot to anger him and Chad was excellent as keeping his cool.
As Chad watched the kids get back to their dragons he had to stifle a laugh as he saw Ulrika plucked out of her viewing spot and turned back towards Saphria. The large dragon definitely didn't like being ignored. His eyes trained on a sudden movement. He looked over to Nappy to see his dragon covering the box as Irrite ran to the left. Curiously, he raised an eyebrow and watched how this scene would play out.

Grima smiled slightly when it stopped being aggressive, and tried to show itself off as awesome. He’d hit the right spot. The smile disappeared when it bluntly told him to go away. He scanned the dragon for a few moments as the two stayed in position. He knew in that moment she wouldn’t willingly give him the box, no matter what method of approach he did.
So he did the only thing he thought might work, “You know I’m not supposed to, right? The reason you were given the box was so that we could try and do the right method approaching you so you would let us have one of the items in that box.”
Both the heads kept an ear out for everything happening around them, they were still too wild to not be on constant alert. So they noticed Shock lost it. Both heads watched as the girl that should have been trying to get the stuff from them went and stopped her dragon from maming Venny. Chad then came over and sent the girl away.
“But the girl wasn’t rude,” Flint called out, even though she knew the teacher couldn’t understand her, “she just used the wrong method. Had she had a different dragon her things would have been acceptable, not grounds for dismissal.”
Stahl rolled her eyes at her sibling’s attempt of helping the Viking in training. Flint looked back at Bryn, she’d been stupid, but brave. Flint then muttered, “Would you mind terribly if we went a bit easier on the girl? Given the actions she just did.”
Stahl looked at Flint confused, but then after a few second she sighed, “Fine.” the two then stood there and waited for their opponent to return.

Venny had heard the tone of annoyance in the Skrill's tone now. Ohhh she was going to die, even the way she was now crackling with electricity was bad. Hopping back quickly after Shock had shot white fire, she almost got pinned down, however she had tripped and fell back. Oh well, if she died this way it would had been a shocking experience, mentally giving a miserable chuckle, she shut her eyes tight and awaiting for some serious pain.
She felt nothing, either it was a quick death or- no she still heard shouting. Venny dared to open her eyes and Bryn stood in front of her, also a enraged Skrill and burnt up box. Oh she screwed up now, biting her lower lip she brought her attention to Bryn. After she had told Venny to keep the comments to herself, Venny just nodded. Talking back would just make things worse than it is.
When Chad came around, she froze. "I- It-" She bit her lip again, her side of the story wouldn't really be all that important. With a sigh she got up to her feet and brushed the dirt off her sweater. "Alright," she said keeping her cool, although it had a hint of depression but whatever.Taking a glance at Shock, she looked away. She'll get back at another exercise, right? No, she wasn't going to live this down, Venny adjusted her helmet as she walked toward the exit. 'Looks like I'm going to have to withdraw the traps around town today,' she thought gloomily. Venny did not want anyone yapping to her today about her pranks, she wanted some alone time after this dumb exercise dragon thing. - - Camo almost flew away from his chest to tackle the Skrill down, however the Bryn child girl had beaten him to it. With a face of disappointment, his scales slowly faded to his usual orange and let go of the chest he was guarding. "I knew it," he growled. Still roaming around the chest, he stood and waited to see what else happened. But he had expected the worst, not bothering to look at the other dragons reactions.
Once Chad had ordered her out, harshly, Camo had sighed. Hearing Flint attempt to defend the young prankster, he cringed a smile. "Don't even bother, buddy. She's long gone now," he said as he was about to follow his partner. Once he got far enough, he gave a sharp glance to Shock. "Why don't you take my chest, hmm? I don't think I'll be playing around here with children anytime soon," Camo said in a smug tone. Giving a nod to Chad, he had ran after Venny whom had stopped him. After a few whispers and groans, Camo's antennas drooped. Shaking his head he had simply resided by the door while Venny made her way up.

Bryn's cheeks heated up. "Yes, Chad." She mumbled. "Sorry...I just wanted to make sure Shock didn't hurt Venny." She sounded apologetic, and silently berated herself for taking stupid risks. This is what gets people killed, Bryn... She reminded herself harshly. Some viking you are! She turned and walked back over to Flint and Stahl. As she stood in front of the Zippleback again, Bryn gave Camo an embarrassed glance and mouthed an apology for Shock. Then she returned her attention to the task at hand. "Okay...sorry about that. I guess she's even more temperamental then I thought...or Venny's even better at getting under scales then I knew. Or both." She conceded. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Shock storm out of the arena. The dragon obviously wanted to leave...probably for all the wrong reasons.
Shock shot Camo a poisonous glare. "Shut it Changewing," she snapped, "or I'll fry you next." She didn't bother to control the sporadic electric charges that snapped across her hide as she stalked out of the arena before leaping out into the wind and soaring off. So much for that exercise. Not that Shock cared. The real thorn-in-her-paw was Sharpblade. It wasn't so much the comment itself-granted, the Skrill hated being called anything but a Skrill- but how it was delivered. What was she, blind?
Shock continued to rant in her head until she'd run out of mental breath. Well, almost. She growled out on more insult at Sharpblade before turning and perching on the cliff in the shadows to watch. She didn't care if they saw her. If they raised a fuss, she'd blow the damned arena to smithereens.
(Okay...sorry for explosive Skrill. Hopefully this doesn't interfere with anyone's plans...)

(btw by when will the kid have 'failed'? Does the dragon say 'your a noob and not worthy' or is it the teacher or what?) or do the kids only get one shot because they only have one shot in a real life situaiton? xd
Ulrika watched the comotion. She cringed slightly as it got out of hand, instinctively wanting to flee to a safe place, even though it wasn't her in the hotseat. Even the all the dragons were watching, itching to intervene, but Chad quickly got the situation under control, even more so as Bryn stepped in to stop her dragon fro massacring every living thing in the vicinity.
Ulrika found it funny as Chad told Venny off, a natural reaction. The action was over but it had left a sharp tangy atmosphere in it's stead. She was about to make a remark as Venny left the arena, but then she felt something close in on the back of her jacket.
Before she could react she was lifting into the air, with her legs and arms flailing in midair, desperate for something solid. "Hey hey hey hey hey! What the Hel! Put me down!" She was turned around and the blue dragon quickly entered her sight.
She was plonked down the 'right' way around, in front of the proud Longwing. Ulrika huffed and folded her arms. "I was watching that! What's your problem?" She asked the dragon. She then saw that Sapphira had hidden the chest again. She frowned more.
"Gods, make your mind up, whether I won or not..." She muttered under her breath. Was she supposed to start again? What did she do before to earn the dragon's worth? She couldn't remember, which was unsurprising, as she hadn't really done anything in the first place.
