DATE & TIME : July 25th WEATHER CONDITIONS : Sunny, some clouds, light breeze. CHARACTERS INVOLVED : Sven, Arya PREVIOUS THREADS ? N/A
Sven was wandering aimlessly in the village's streets. Hermes had disappeared somewhere, again, and without a lift Sven couldn't get to the remote areas of the island where there tended to be more wild dragons to study. Recording information on tame dragons was all well and good, but it told him nothing of their natural habitat, hunting styles and routines, amongst countless other things.
The Dragonologist smirked as he went to the lower regions of the village, where there were fields full of sheep, if not slightly depleted. Sven rolled his shoulders slightly. It was to be expected, living around dragons, that flocks of sheep tended to decrease slightly. He smirked a little though, as the sight reminded him of of his past, and somewhat of his heritage, being the son of a shepard.
Content with this fact, he picked his pace up and settled himself down in the middle of one of the fields, slinging his bag off to one side. He sat there in silence for a while, listening to the calm ambiance, the cry of seagulls overhead, the wind ruffling through his hair lightly...
The peace was interrupted by the sound of light cloven hooves on grass behind him. He slowly turned to look, but the sheep got there before him, sniffing his hair and trying to eat it. He laughed a little and tugged the sheep's horn and prompted it to his side instead. He uprooted a clump of grass and offered it to the sheep instead.
Sven had a way with dragons, but he has had a way with sheep long before the thought of dragons had even crossed his mind.

OUTFITArya walked through the village with nothing really to do. She waved at people as she walked by and some waved back while others sort of averted her eyes. But that was to be expected since she was different than all of them. Saphira was not with her at the moment as her dragon was flying the skies stretching her wings. The thought of her dragon flying made her smile and as she walked out into the field she couldn’t help but look up. She thought she saw a blue speck up there but she was not sure. Her head dropped down to where the sheep were. Either they were munching on the grass or laying down enjoying the sun and nice breeze. As she walked through them a movement up ahead caught her eye. There was a man. It looked like he was playing with the sheep. Or well one in particular and he actually looked to be feeding it. Curious as to whom this guy was, she walked the last couple yards to him. When she finally got near enough to speak to him she cleared her throat. ”Hello. I don’t think we have met yet. My name is Arya. What might yours be?” Her stance was neutral as she stood with one hand on her hip and the other dangling besides her. As if on cue to her friend talking to someone new, Saphira dropped out of the sky behind Arya. Her blue scales and eyes catching this new guy. She ducked her head as if in a nod before speaking. ”Please tell him that my name is Saphira. And it is nice to meet him.” Saphira said after Sven introduced himself.

Sven was too engrossed with the sheep to notice Arya's presence. He only turned around when she adressed him. He raised his everbrows in suprise slightly, before patting the beast in front of him on the muzzle and rolling to his feet. He wiped his hands on his blue jacket. Damn. If he had known he'd be chatting with someone he hadn't met before, he probably wouldn't have played with the sheep. He hoped she wasn't a hand shaker. Her stance was casual enough.
"I'm..." He started, about to introduce himself, when he was briefly distracted as a huge blue dragon landed behind Arya. He had never seen this kind of dragon before... It was like a Western slightly, but... different. He blinked, snapping out of his trail of thought and quickly resuming his introduction. "I'm Sven. It's a pleasure to meet you Arya." He said, with a warm smile.
He caught the dragon nodding at him also in greeting, to which Sven mimicked. He grinned slightly as the dragon asked Arya, who was obviously her human, to introduce her. It told him two things - the dragon's name, and that Arya was also a Dragonese speaker.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Saphira. Don't worry, I understand Dragonese too." He said in the language of the dragons. He might not find a wild dragon - but at least he found a new species to record.
"Tell me," He continued in Dragonese. "You are a mighty fine creature, but I have never seen one like you. Do you have a name for your kind?" He brought out his treasured book and a pencil. He knew he shouldn't be too intrusive, completely ignoring Arya, but he at least wanted the name of the dragon's species.

Arya smiled once Sven slipped into Dragonese as easily as she herself did. ”Well that’s one barrier that’s passed now. And don’t worry, you can ask her all the questions you want.” She said noticing the notepad he brought out when he asked Saphira her breed name. ”I can also tell you a few things I have learned about her species since I was basically raised around them. Mostly the fact that they are very intelligent, wise, and partially vain.” She said, and she couldn’t help but laugh because Saphira had held her head a bit higher and had made her stance seem more regal when he had said she was magnificent.
Saphira looked from Arya and back to Sven. ”Well, my breed name is Longwings due to our enormous wingspan.” She said as she let her wings expand to their 20 foot length. ”You probably haven’t seen my kind because we like the peace and quiet up at the tops of the highest mountain peaks.” She allowed herself to get more comfortable by laying down next to the two humans bringing her wings back in during the process. ”Tell me Sven. What exactly do you do with the information you get from us dragons?” She said turning her head slightly to the side as if evaluating him. The blue of his jacket standing out to her amongst other things her eyes quickly zoned in on it.
Summer remained standing and listened to Saphira talking and shook her head. She was surprised by how much Saphira was willing to tell him. But then she stopped when she asked what he would do with it. She turned back to Sven also intrigued by what exactly he did with it. Taking a quick look at Saphira and back to his jacket she nodded and smiled as if reminding herself. "They also see the color they are most vividly. Hence why she is staring at your jacket so intensely."

Sven grinned slightly as Arya gave him permission to ask all the questions he wanted. That was good, but part of him still didn't want to be rude. He quickly jotted down the brief information given to him by Arya, before turning to Saphira, who also answered his question, and told him of their kind's natural habitat. That was good. He could go looking for wild ones now... If he could find them.
Sven raised his eyebrows as he was impressed with the beast's wingspan. Her wings weren't leathery like most dragons, but instead, they looked like feathers... though somewhat slightly familiar to a dragon he was extremely familiar with. He thought about that for a moment, before he was asked a question by the dragon.
Sven smiled. He enjoyed it when dragons would ask questions in return, it made his job interesting, and sometimes the questions were quite interesting to think about. "Well, Saphira, I am a Dragonologist, I study dragons. I note everything I know about them in this book. It'd be a disaster if I lost this." He said, glancing down at his book. The page was yet to be filled on the Longwings. He had almost lost the book before, and he made it sure that event wouldn't repeat itself again.
Looking up, he noted Saphira's gaze was averted, instead staring down towards his chest area. Confused, he paused, considering the options of what the dragon was doing. Luckily, he didn't have to worry too much, as Arya began to explain how the dragon's vision worked. He gave a look of comprehension - that was new. He jotted that down too, feeling less threatened.
"As I was saying, I gather this information so that people can have a better understanding of dragons. They don't have to see them as big scary monsters anymore. I can show people how to train a dragon or live amongst them in peace if I wanted, but that can't be done without the necessary information. That's where my job comes in." Sven explained.
"This place is a dragon haven, it's making my job a lot easier to find and collect information. I usually had to travel all over just to find at least one kind of dragon... There are thousands here!"
Sven smiled again, suddenly slighlty embarrased, catching himself from turning into a chatterbox in the nick of time. He did enjoy his job a lot, meeting and finding these magnificent creatures and studying them. He was very enthusiastic about it all. He switched back into common tongue. "I'm sorry," He apologised, rubbing the back of his neck. "I sometimes get carried away..."

Arya watched as Sven jotted down the things they were saying. She couldn't imagine how many species he must have in there. And adding more whenever he came across a new one? Well that sounded exciting. She couldn't help but smile and laugh at how enthusiastic he got about describing his job. It was cute really, to see someone so in tune with what they do. She looked to Saphira and smiled knowing she appreciated the attention from someone other than Arya. Others in the village had stopped and stared but hardly anyone actually came up to the duo. What could they say, they were different.
"It is fine. We all get carried away in our work in some way or another. At least you are doing something that you really love." She paused for a moment as she turned to look back at him and away from Saphira. "Do you live here in Berk, or do you travel?" If he did travel, maybe he had been to Forsaken and there could be hope for her place yet. But she knew that was a very slim chance. She could tell that Saphira wanted to talk more about her species so after he answered she smiled up at her dragon. "I think she wants to talk more about herself and her breed." She said as Saphira dipped her head and touched Arya on the top of the head.
Saphira nodded after she touched Arya. "Anything else you would like to ask?" She paused for a moment thinking. "I do have a couple things. We are a very docile species. Usually if a human finds our egg and takes care of it well we will stay with that person. We are a one human kind of dragon. If our human dies, we just go to live with the rest of our kind. We don't choose another." She stopped allowing him to write down what he needed to write down before continuing. "We tend to mimic the person that becomes our human."
This is where Arya butted in. "Saphira is really only a five years old. She sounds wise because her species is pretty intelligent. She tends to act like me a lot, but of course does have her own personality." Saphira nodded before talking once more. "If a dragon and his/her rider are really in tune, and have been with each other for a long time, we can basically finish their sentences since we get to know them so well. Once we have a human, we stay pretty close to them and would come to their aid if needed and know the human would do the same." She stopped talking and looked up at the sun. A cloud passed the sun and for a moment a shadow went across them.
When the cloud was through the sun hit Saphira in a way that made her scales look like they were shining. Arya looked at her dragon always entranced by the way the sun hit. While looking she spoke again. "You can tell what color they will be while still in the egg because the egg shell takes on the color of the dragon." She smiled remembering Saphira's egg only a short time ago.

Sven smiled as he was let off for his apology. She then asked a question, to which he shook his head and replied, "No, I'm not from here, I'm afraid. I'm from further south, a place called Red Rock. I'm not quite sure how far south it is from here, since we didn't fly directly from there to here..." He thought about home briefly, but that was behind him now. The past wasn't generally a good thing to linger on for the young man.
"I travel from place to place, but it's so... random, that I'm not quite sure where I am in the world anymore." He exhaled a sheepish laugh, as if it was something stupid to say. Sven didn't like to try come across stupid. Maybe he shouldn't have said that. "I suppose you could blame Hermes for that... Hermes is my dragon." He quickly introduced, even though the Ambassador wasn't present right now. It was the fact that she wasn't present that he allowed himself to call her 'his' dragon. Hermes enjoyed to consider herself wild. In a sense, she still was.
He grinned at the statement made about him loving his job. Love was an understatement. "I don't think I could choose any other job."
After he had answered, he could see Saphira growing impatient, and fidgety. Arya excused her, explaining to the Dragonologist that she wanted to share information about her species. A dragon eager to share information? That didn't come across often. Sven held out a hand, inviting the dragon to speak. "By all means."
She first asked if he had any questions. Sven shrugged. There was always so much suprising and some not-so-suprising information, that he didn't really know where to begin. "Why don't you just tell me about your kind, in general. Anything you think is special?" Sven suggested. And so Saphira began to recount facts about her species, how they live and grow up. Sven noted this all down. It was intriguing to him, a dragon born to be social with humans. He wished Hermes was just as relatable.
Arya chipped in after the small description. Sven looked at Saphira up and down again. Only five years old? "Well, you certainly have grown into a magnificent creature." He complimented briefly. His attention turned to Saphira again, as she began to explain Arya's words. "That's quite interesting," He stated, before following the dragon's gaze. He had gained the habit of following a dragon's sight when they got distracted of things, since their senses were a lot better than human's ones. There could be a predator after him and he wouldn't know it. Luckily it was just a cloud blocking the sun.
Sven raised his eyebrows at the way the scales shone. So they were feather-like scales... They look so much like feathers, in fact, that he had a hard time discerning what was the truth. He thought about Hermes's scales. They acted a lot like feathers too, but they didn't look anything like feathers at all, especially since they had pointed edges to them. It was like she was a walking blade-rack.
The reflection glowed brightly. Comparing to Hermes' scales once again, he noted there was no sort of iridescent hue like Hermes possessed. Where she reflected the sun, Hermes tended to not reflect as bright, instead lighting up a dark blue colour.
Arya made a statement about how the colour of the egg reflected the colour of the mature dragon. Sven nodded. He hadn't had much experience with eggs and dragon breeding. He was hoping it would maybe be a future project. Dragons would have to lay eventually...
Either way, the explanations had given Sven enough curiosity to start asking more specific questions. "So, coloured eggs reflect the colour of the dragon? What kinds of colours can your kind be?" He noticed around here a lot of dragons tended to have similar colours between the species, for example: Deadly Nadders would most often have a blue tone to their colourings, or Gronckles tended to have earthy colours.
He also remembered how Saphira had looked at the sky. Though it was just for a cloud, it still could mean something. "Do your kind have any predators? Anything that poses as a threat to you? I understand most dragons are apex predators, but I'm just curious to how you reacted to the cloud."

Saphira and Arya both listened to What Sven had to say about his dragon and his job. Arya nodded in understanding. She didn't know what she would do if she wasn't able to help defend this village. She may not live here, but it was still nice helping out whenever they needed it. "What kind of dragon is Hermes?" Curiosity getting the best of her.
Saphira bowed her head when he once again called her magnificent. "Thank you. We grow pretty fast. Usually around my age is when we stop growing. As we age our colors can get duller, along with the horns and spines that adorn our bodies." She paused as he asked another question about their colors. She gave a chortled laugh before answering. "Unlike the dragons here, we can come in almost any color of the rainbow."
Arya rolled her eyes at her dragon. "Almost being a pretty good word. I haven't seen one in pink or purple. Though a dark almost blue purple and a light red." At the mention of predators Arya smiled and shook her head. "She's just curious sometimes." She ducked her head for a moment and when she raised it she was about to speak when Saphira cut in.
"Within our own breed sometimes yes. That was why we left our old village. One of the males attacked and slaughtered the other Longwings and humans along with his human companion. Apart from him, I would say we don't have any predators." Saphira's tone had turned icy. She hated that dragon for all he was worth. Arya looked at her dragon and put her hand on her dragons’ chest. "Easy now. Sorry, he killed both of our parents. Saphira holds a grudge against him, as do I, but I don't let it affect me that much. I try not to remember."
A small smile appeared as she tried to appear stronger than what she really was feeling. She shook her head wanting to get away from that subject as she started again. "Females are usually more aerodynamic than the males, as they tend to be smaller in weight. Where males lack in aerodynamics, they make up for in their strength." Saphira lowered her gaze so she was staring straight at Arya.
"Little one, are you trying to tell me that I am not strong. Why, my roar is strong enough to knock you over." Arya just smiled and shook her head. "You know well enough that all it would do is bristle my hair and clothing. Stop trying to show off." She said not trying to keep the laughter out of her voice.

"Hermes is an Ambassador dragon," Sven replied. "They're kind of my speciality. They're really rare, so no one's had as great an opportunity to study them as I have, because I was lucky enough to meet one and befriend her."
Sven nodded about the colours. That was certainly interesting. And he wasn't suprised either when Arya told him that Saphira had no predators to fear. Seeing how big the dragon was, it was unlikely there'd be many carnivores after them.
But then Saphira cut Arya once again, which he was slowly finding amusing how they'd talk over each other and elaborate on each other's responses. But the conversation took a dark turn, as Saphira mentioned their dark past. Sven felt his stomach pang slightly, made even worse when Arya explained it fully.
"I'm sorry." He said simply, observing an all to familiar reaction - a weak smile after telling of a traumatic incident. Sven knew it all too well - he had done it far too many times to even count. Especially recently.
She changed the subject, thankfully. It was the best thing to do. Sven wouldn't want to share his own past - he felt his own problems were being dwarfed by others. He couldn't them for changing the subject - he would have done the same. He was naturally curious, but he never pryed into other people's pasts.
He noted information into his book. They were talking more about the physique of the dragon. It was a good time to start a basic sketch. He smirked as they bickered slightly. He drew faintly at first. If he had more leisurely time he'd make something a lot nicer, like for dragons he had frequently seen. Since Saphira appeared very much like a Western for the headshape, that was easy enough. He noted first of all the important features - long neck, feathery-scaly wings, spines rimming the skull. From what he could gather the body looked slim, perfect for flying. He nodded at his brief sketch, before looking up.
Sven grinned. "I'm sure you could overpower both of us at once with ease. With your stature, I'm sure you're just as formidable against other dragons."

Arya listened to him tell her about Hermes. An Ambassador dragon? Hmmm....she had never heard of one of these dragons. She looked to Saphira and Saphira shook her head once. Saphira had heard of them but never seen one before. Arya turned back to Sven. "What are Ambassador dragons like?" She would really like to meet this dragon named Hermes, but she wouldn't pry into Sven about calling her. If he wanted her around he could've called already.
Who knows? Maybe she's a dragon that didn't like being around other dragons. Or maybe she wouldn't like Sven talking so much to her dragon or even to Arya herself. She had met some strange dragons here. Some of which actually acted like that.
To his sorry she just nodded. It was fine really, but when people said sorry she usually didn't know what to say back. You couldn't say it's fine because obviously it wasn't. So she thought the best thing was silence.
Out of the corner of her eye she could see Sven writing things down in his notebook as her and Saphira had been talking. It also looked like he had been drawing as well. She wondered vaguely just how well he sketched. But, not wanting to be rude, she kept this to herself.
When she heard his reply she couldn't help but groan. This would surly go to Saphira's head. And sure enough when she looked up at her dragon, Saphira had raised her head just an inch to try to appear more elegant. But she kept a wild look in her eye, which could be seen as her trying to be fierce. Arya laughed before turning back to Sven.
Saphira had hummed with appreciation for Sven words. "Well thank you. I do hold my own pretty well. With and without armor." She said catching Arya's eye. It was true, back at her old village Saphira had donned a pair or armor when leaving. It was with them here but it was still in shambles. Arya had yet to take it somewhere to get it fixed.

Sven mused for a moment, trying to summarise all that he'd learnt about the dragon he had spent most of his time around. "Ambassadors have blade-like scales that work much in the same way as feathers would. Moreso for flying. They are always black in colour - the sun reflecting off their scales gives off a specific hue of colour." He paused, tweaking a disappointed frown. "It's a shame Hermes isn't here right now. I'd love her to meet you two."
He wasn't sure how Hermes would really act around them in truth, but if she was actually here, it would probably be easier to explain what an Ambassador was really like. He sighed, glancing into the sky again, hoping to see a familiar silhouette.
There was none. Where was she?
Sven found Arya's reaction to his comment slightly amusing. It had become a natural thing for him to compliment dragons when possible, to get on their good sides as soon as possible. He had realised that it wasn't needed here, but he had spoken regardless.
He grinned again and wrote something else. He hadn't often heard of dragons needing armour - most dragons were able to defend themselves one way or another, and sometimes their scales were so thick it was like armour in it's own right. If Saphira needed armour, it must mean her hide isn't as protective compared to other dragons.
He thought about that. Perhaps thats why they developed a bond with the humans? The humans, with their craftmanship and opposable thumbs, who could make them armour to survive when it was needed most. He looked back to Saphira. She must look fearsome when equipped, if she had armour. He didn't know if they actually had armour or not.
He then let out a small laugh, "Hermes tends to avoid a fight when she can. They're not born fighters..." But he stopped himself, because in reality, he was the same.

Arya listened to his description of the Ambassadors. They sounded like a beautiful breed and she couldn't help but notice some similar traits between Saphira and Hermes. However when he said that he would've liked Hermes to meet the two of them she smiled. So Hermes was a friendly dragon then. "Well, perhaps another time then." She said as Sven looked to the sky.
Now she knew why he was looking up there. He was trying to find his dragon. Arya had a habit of doing that when Saphira wasn't around as well. She liked to know where her dragon was going or where she might be.
She watched as he wrote down in the notebook again, this time probably about the armor that Saphira would wear in battle. It was true, there scales weren't as tough as some of the other dragon breeds. They could tear them easily or lose them. Heck, their wings were so thin that a spear could go straight through them.
"Saphira needs her armor every time we go into battle. We made the mistake once and she lost a couple of her scales, her wing got pierced by a spear, and she got sliced on her leg. They have a very soft hide." As she said this, she put her hand on Saphira's leg where the cut had been. The cut was long gone now but she couldn't help but smile at how Saphira had acted over it.
"I do enjoy a fight sometimes. Only, the injuries. I could do without those. They tend to ruin the way I look. They make me look like an easy target." Her eyes narrowed in the slightest. Arya had had to urge her out of the fight when those injuries had occurred. She had wanted revenge on everyone whose weapon had touched her.
Arya's face showed a slight puzzlement when Sven trailed off after his sentence about Hermes. He must not like fighting all too well either. Arya didn't like it, she would try to talk it over if possible. But sometimes it was necessary and she was fine with taking a role in it.

Sven smirked inwardly as his assumptions were correct. Arya confirmed the armour was needed due to a softer hide.
But the conversation had inevitably turned to combat. The memories of that time still rattled him, but he was over the depression it had entailed. It just became another bitter part of his past that he preferred not to remember.
His curious expression that he tended to have when he was doing his job faded into something slightly darker. He wasn't suprised that Saphira took a liking to fights - most dragons were well equipped for battle, even Hermes, an Ambassador, who aren't natural fighters at all, had some sort of attack they could muster.
"I don't like battle," Sven said simply. Even only taking a medical role in the war with Hysteria, he had seen more than enough. And he definitely didn't want to live through another one if he could.
He suddenly saw a dark flash in the distance. His dark expression was suddenly distracted, as his eyes glanced over Arya's shoulder. His eyebrows furrowed. Did he just see what he thought he just saw?
He concentrated on the edge of that house further up the hill. Sure enough, he saw something dark protude once again, immediately retreating back behind the building as the shadowy thing caught glimpse of the young man.
Instantly realising what it was, Sven suddenly grinned again all of a sudden, shaking his head slightly. He chuckled slightly. That damn dragon certainly enjoyed to make things difficult for him. He wondered how long she had been stalking him.

Arya watched as Sven's expressions grew darker. This was not good. He must have taken part in the war the Berkians and Hysterians had. His role must not have been goo. She looked up to Saphira with a sad expression on their faces. The first was or fight for someone was always a hard one. But when you were protecting your home turf sometimes that had to happen.
By the time she looked back to Sven, his darkened expression had changed to one of distraction. He was looking over Arya's shoulder. Confused, she turned her head, as did Saphira, and tried to see what he was seeing. Her eyes scanned near the houses and for an instant saw a dark shape retreat behind the house. But her vision snapped back to Sven when he started to chuckle.
Saphira on the other hand let curiosity get the better of her. She flapped open her wings and took off in the direction of the dark shape. She wondered vaguely if it was Sven's dragon, or something else Sven would recognize. "I will be right back." She said to Arya simply before she reached an elevation to where she would've had to roar it down to her.
Arya nodded once to Saphira before turning to Sven, she was glad to see a smile back on his face. "Let me guess. That dark shape that is taking up a spot near the houses, and that Saphira went to go look at, is your dragon?" So his dragon was near him after all. Looks like she did care about him. Although hiding in the distance was a bit odd.
Saphira had finally flown the short distance to the house. She dropped out of the sky, holding her wings close to her body. She twisted her head in all directions trying to find the dark shape that she had seen from the distance. "Hello? I will not harm you." The dragon had seemed small from the distance, but she didn't know if it was actually true.

Arya and her dragon briefly followed his gaze before he had started to laugh. The way that Saphira decided to go look obviously meant they had also seen Hermes make a blunder in trying to conceal herself. She only only really stealthy at night or shadowy places, when the darkness made no reflections of her trademark blue hue.
Sven watched without a word as Saphira got up and made the short flight to where the mischevous dragon was hiding. He wondered if Hermes would come out quietly or not. Arya asked if that was his dragon.
With a strange smile he replied: "Regrettably, yes. Since the war she's been acting very... odd."
From Hermes' vantage point, she had retreated quickly, realising she had been spotted. She hugged the wall of the building, laying in the shadow. It wasn't the best of hiding places, but perhaps it'd give her enough time to figure something out. She cursed under her breath slighty.
She heard the thud of the bigger dragon that was with the two humans below in the field. She grumbled slightly. Since the dragon belonged to a human and hadn't mauled Sven to death yet, it was safe to assume the dragon wasn't a threat... Still.
"Drat, the mission's been compromised." She muttered to herself as the dragon announced it's presence, making it clear she meant no harm. Hermes still shrank a little at the dragon's size as it came around the corner of the house into view. She must have been two or three times her own height! A few of scales raised slightly here and there. Normally she'd make a comment about the dragon's aesthetical similarities with her own kind, but she had other priorities
"Ssshhhhh!" She instantly hissed. She continued in a hushed tone. "Don't let them know I'm here, say it was a Terrible Terror or something. I *have* to do this." She paused for a moment. Ah! She knew what she could do. Suddenly ignoring Saphira, she got up, turned around and flew off the cliff.
Sven saw the dark figure fly off the cliff. Strange. Usually she wasn't spooked by larger dragons... But he remembered Hermes was still playing some sort of trick. He knew she wouldn't stop until her goal was accomplished, usually with Sven on the recieving end of whatever she had in store. He turned, predicting where Hermes would show up, who was surely hiding below the cliff line, trying to spring him from behind.
And she certainly did. She had flown in the general direction to give the idea of her motion, but with her extreme control in the air, she managed to double back before going too far, flying back up the cliff, over the houses where Saphira was, and wooshing down towards Sven, who had now turned around expecting her to come up from the cliffs below.
She slowed down slightly, still wooshing over Arya's head and knocking Sven over, landing on him. She could hear that the wind was completely knocked out of him.
"Tag. You're it." She said blandly, prodding him slightly in the back. She then craned her head around to Arya. A sheepish smile spread on the dragon's face as michevous azure eyes looked to the other human. "Oh hi there." The distraction was enough for Sven to crawl out from under Hermes' grip and get his breath back.
Sven coughed slightly, now on all fours trying to get up. "Hermes.." He managed to pant, "You could've broken my neck..." He'd been tricked again. Damn.
