Curtis went to speak before she cut him off, He laughed abit and then went to speak again, "Dosn't really matter dose it?" He raised an eyebrow for a moment before speaking again, "Should be lucky your not 'big'" He ment big in the way of being overweight. Curtis looked around abit, "I like the way you are, So don't worry about somthing like that." Curtis looked at Luna with gentle eyes, "But no, I don't think your Scrawney." Curtis stopped and then thought for a moment and then shook his head, "No, I havn't been told that" He smiled and laughed Slightly. He looked at Luna's eyes, "I could ask you kinda the same question. But Im curious on how you got Silver eyes, It's cute but mysterious due to the fact your the only one I have met with your color of eyes." Curtis looked into them for a moment, He then shook his head to Luna last question, "And No, I don't have any question's to ask you." He let go of Luna and walked over to his bed and laied down on it, He was abit exsaughted. He looked up at the ceiling and waited for Luna to ask somthing or say somthing.

She was glad to know he didn't think she was scrawny. He hadn't really given her a direct answer, but she was happy he didn't think that. She knew she wasn't beautiful, if she were someone would have at some point in her life told her, but at least she knew curtis didn't think her too large or too small. And when he asked her about her eyes she smiled. "why do you think they named me Luna? Like the moon " she said in a reply. Then he said he didnt have quetions before letting go of her and walking off. All of the sudden Curtis seemed a little upset. She wondered why. She had never met someOne whose mood could change so quickly. Maybe he just didn't like being asked so many questions. She decided to stick to keeping questions to a minimum, she didn't like upsetting him. She walked over to the bed. She wasn't sure what to do. He was just laying there staring at the ceiling. She felt like she needed to say something, before the silence had been nice, but somehow now it seemed empty. She didn't know what to do or say. So she said "so...how are we going to tell your mom about this?" when he didnt answer she took a deep breath "Curtis, what's wrong?" she asked

Curtis looked over, "We will think of somthing on how to tell my mom." He listened to Luna, Curtis liked her name. It was diffrent then many names he had ever heard before. Curtis heard Luna ask if anything was wrong, No? Nothing was wrong why would she get that idea? Mabye becuase he looked tired was why she thought that and that was probably it too becuase he couldn't think of anything else why she would get that idea. He looked over at Luna for a moment, "Nothings wrong, Im just tired." Curtis got up and grabbed a small rock and a candle, He took another rock with grooves in it, Curtis struck the rock and on the first spark it hit the candle wick lighting it up. It lit up the room abit more. He layed back down on the bed, it was a pretty big bed for one person. Who knows why Curtis' parents made him somthing like this but that was their choice. Curtis examined the ceiling abit before looking over at Luna again, "Come have a seat. I think you need it." Curtis smiled looking over at Luna for that moment.

Luna hoped fatigue was the only thing troubling Curtis, she didn't like when he was upset about things. She watched as he took a Stone and struck it against something else. He ignitited a flame in a candle set in a holder on the small table beside his bed. The little flame made the room a bit brighter. She shifted her weight to the other foot and glanced at him as her set his head back on the pillow where it lay. She saw him stare up at the ceiling for a few moments. Instincitly she looked up as well. She contemplated what it would be like for her to return home. What it would be like to lay in her old bed again and stare up into the rafters she had grown up falling asleep to, that was when she fell asleep at all. It would be strange, because unlike Curtis, her homeland brought back unpleasant memories rather than positive ones. But it would be interesting to once again be in the house he was born and raised in, not that she had any real desire to. She saw Curtis look back at her. She brought her gaze back to him in turn. He invited her to come sit on his bed. She obliged and smiled at him as he smiled at her. She shuffled over and sat herself down on the egde of the bedframe on which set a straw-filled matters. She set herself next to Curtis where his legs met his torso, so that she could easily see him. She set her hands in her lap and smiled over at him as he lay there.

Curtis smiled at Luna, He enjoyed her company. He loved having her around he felt like he was the luckiest person in the world just becuase he had Luna with him. He moved his hand over to Luna and patted her shoulder, "Im pretty tired, So Im going to try and sleep." Curtis sat up and looked at Luna, "Try to get some sleep to, It's pretty late now." He leaned over and kissed Luna for a moment and then pulled back looking at her, "Sweet dreams." He chuckled abit and then layed down and closed his eyes starting to fall asleep, Curtis opened an eye and looked at the Candle. He closed his eye again and blew it out with one blow. He wondered if Luna was going to be able to sleep, He was hoping she would be able or else that would probably worry him abit.

Luna sat there for a second. She wasn't sure what to do. She wouldn't mind staying here in here with Curtis for the night, bit she wasn't quite sure how his parents would react over them sleeping together. They had done it quite a few times, falling asleep together, that was. And it wasn't like they ever did anything. But honestly, it did always help her sleep with him there. But out of precaution she decided against it. She silently creeped out of the dark room and to the door, which she opened and let herself out. She creeped down the stairs. She didn't know if his parents were still up so she quietly found a dark corner and curled up on the floor. For a few minutes, she just layed there. And then she felt the sleeplessness come on. No no no. Not again. She hadn't had any sleep in at least 4 days now. She forced her eyes closed. She dint want to fall apart on herself alone here. It would be so embarrassing if his parents came out, or even worse- heard her sobbing and came to see what the matter was or something like that. Curtis wouldn't hear her, he was unstairs. She closed her eyes and put her hands over her face, praying for sleep to find her. And surprisingly, it did. But this was not the kiNd of sleep that wad good. For what seemed like forever she suffered through terrible bloody gory nightmares. She tossed and turned and gritted her teeth in her sleep. It was one of the wOrst nightmares she had ever had, so horrific that she couldn't describe it in words.
When her eyes finally snapped open, she awoke to find herself crying- her face wet as tears streamed down her face. she was cold without a blanket on the fridgid night- now she wished she still had that troublesome skirt, she was shaking too- from fear and cold alike. She was a mess. She sat up and smoothed her hair and dried her face with the sweater she wore. How long had she been asleep? She walked over to a window and peered out into the snowy night. To her dismay the moon was barley up in the sky at all. Why, the night had only just begun and she was already completely disheveled. She cursed under her breath. That was the terrible thing about nightmares- a whole night's worth of horrors could be crammed into minuscule amounts of time. Now What was she to do? She still had the whole night ahead of her. She wasn't sure what to do. If she went to Curtis, she might keep him up, and she didn't want to deprive him of sleep, he became horribly moody and grumpy if he didn't get sleep. But if she stayed here, it meant she was alone to cry it out the entire night in the cold. It might have been a selfish choice, but she decided To go to curtis. She made for the stairs, a single low-burning candle on a shelf was the only thing besides the moonlight from the window that gave off light.
She stole up the stairs stealthily making her way from step to step. When she reached the top she went to his door and opened it. She creeped across the room, dim moonlight leading her. She reached the spacious bed where he lay peacefully. Luna slid her boots off before slipping under the warm blanket and Into the bed next to him. She slowly got in all the way so she was next to him. She cuddled in close to his form. It was so much warmer here. She pressed her cold body lightly against his before gently laying her head back and snapping her eyelids closed hard and concentrating on sleep. Bit she released That was stupid, like doing that was going to help her sleep. She opened her eyes again and saw Curtis looking back at her, awake. She jumped a little. She couldn't exactly see his eyes, but she could see the shine on them from the reflection of the moon. It spooked her at first. "Curtis! Oh, did I wake you?" she asked quietly. Her eyes were still red and wet and puffy from her crying in her sleep. "I'm sorry. I was cold and I had a horrible dream and I didn't like being alone and I couldn't sleep." she whispered loudly. "and...and...and I haven't slept for real in days! And I'm sorry and id just rather be In here and... she stuttered, trying not to burst out in tears. But when crying is uncontrollable, it's hard to keep at tide. So she couldn't help it when the salty drops started streaming down her face again. She pulled the covers over her head and pressed her face into his chest as she sobbed quietly and moaned. Why did she have to be so miserable?

Curtis slept there, in the night. The snow outside still fell and with a lighrtpat pat on the window it kept a steady beat. The beat that could keep someone asleep for ages, the kind of beat that you could sing to, the kind of beat you could just sit there and think. It wasn't an annoying one, No. It was an enjoyable one and who ever wanted it to stop would have to be mad out of their right mind, you'd have to ship them off tied to a mast of a ship and set them adrift into the cold, dark, unknown sea that surrounds islands, and the coast lines of great towns and lands. Curtis woke up when he felt Luna again, He could already tell she was upset about somthing and this is somthing that Curtis had wished didn't happen. When she started to talk, Curtis listened to her but when she started to cry into Curtis' chest he looked at her for a moment. He wondered why Luna always had these nightmares when she slept. He had always thought that it might of been the thought of Her parents finding her one day and bringging her back to how she described sometimes, but in Curtis' words, A Hell Hole. Curtis wrapped his arms around Luna and held her close to himself. He didn't say anything, Instead he just hummed a small tune. It was a tune that his mother used to sign to him when he was younger to get him to sleep when he kept waking up. Curtis thought that this might help abit, but even if it didn't he just kept going on with the tune. It was soothing and calm, nothing too fast but in the slow pace.

Luna continued her moaning and whimpering and let the tears fall freely from her eyes and Curtis held her close in his arms. He quietly wrapped his arms around her and held her closely to himself. She knew it worried him when she behaved like this, but the unpridicatablity of the Sleeplessness was hard on her too. The violent involutary mood swings stressed her put and the constant crying drained her energy. She wanted to stop the sobbing, she really did- bit it was impossible, the best way to get it to stop was to let it go until it ran itself out. She nuzzled her head in his chest a bit as she heard him start to hum a slow tune to her. If one thing, she was warm now. Close to Curtis and under the warm blanket had thrown off any chill she might have had. She didn't know what else to do but lay there and cry. It was all she felt capable of. Curtis didn't do much either, he knew by now there wasn't really anything he could do to make her stop, so he just did his best to comfort her until she stopped. He jus layer there firmly hugging her and humming. The rumble in his chest was comforting, she wasn't exactly sure why, but it made her feel safe. Luna briefly lifted her head and mumbled the words "I'm sorry" through the tears. She layer her head back down where it has been before, face pressed into his chest. For awhile, nothing changed for the two, they just layes there together. Curtis being there had quickened the torturous crying fit. And the sobs started to ebb. Her breathing was still fast and shallow but the Moaning had stopped. The tears trickled slowly down her face now rather than pouring from her eyes. She finally lifted her head and set it next to his. The front of him was all wet from her storm. She let out a shuddery sigh. "thank you" she managed to say "can I stay here? I mean, will your parents get too upset?" she asked in a broken squeaky voice. She hoped she could, she didnt want to go be alone now. Her eyes were still wet, bit she brushed off her cheeks with her hand before looking back at him. She couldn't believe his patience. Dealing with her in that state wasnt easy, but he had stayed up with her and tried to comfort her the entire time. This was why she loved him, well- one of the reasons.

Curtis moved back just abit and wiped the tears off of Luna's wet face. "It's alright." He spoke quietly, He leaned over and kissed her forehead. "Nah, They won't be upset or mad about it, If they care who knows." Curtis laughed very quietly and laided back down looking at Luna, "Just try to sleep alright?" He gave her a small smile before falling asleep again, It was pretty quick for him to fall into a deep sleep. So he just assumed that Luna might cuddle up to him and he didn't mind that. He enjoyed it when she did cuddle up to him. The night went on and on, The small pitter patter of the snow hitting the window stopped very early morning apporximently around the time of three A.M in the morning. Though time wasn't able to be marked very easy at this time by people, Dragon's just had the feel of it. The snow had stopped for the time, and the sky had cleared over night. If the Weather turned to normal right away the tempurature would rise dramaticaly.

Luna smiled to herself. It was interesting to know that Curtis valued her and her comfort over his parents contentment. Still, she hoped he didn't get in trouble over it. "I think I'll be able to sleep now. Good night, Curtis" she whispered. She gently closed her eyes and drifted into sleep, his strong arms still wrapped around her. The sleep felt glorious, she hadn't had this rest in so long. She didn't dream, she just enjoyed savory, sweet, peaceful sleep. Having Curtis there with her always helped. She slept the whole night through with him, happily.
When she awoke the next morning, she was still warm in the bed. Curtis was partially awake beside her. She wondered why she always slept longer than he did. She furrowed her eyebrows and stretched a bit, waking up. She smiled over at Curtis with eyes that were still tired-looking. But she was well rested, and he seemed to be too. There was light streaming through the window. Then she remembered she was going into town with Curtis today, she looked over at him and waiting for him to say something.

Curtis woke up not too long before Luna had awoken. He looked at her with his eyes half open, He smiled and looked around before rubbing his eyes and sitting up. Curtis looked at Luna, "Morning you." Curtis looked at Luna for a moment before directing his attention to a small plunking noise, It was a light noise so it wasn't anything dramatic. He looked out the window and looked on the window ledge, there was two small puddles of water on them. He looked around and alot of the snow had melted; small patchs of snow still lay upon the grass but there wasn't many patchs now. The weather must of warmed up, It must of just been a freak storm that had came out of now where. But the idea that a dragon could of done this was still possible, mabye it just got angry about somthing and caused the storm. Curtis smiled when he saw Reaper, Slity and Silvia playing outside. Curtis looked over at Luna, "So, What do you want to do before we head into town."

Luna smiled. There wasn't really much to do. She was dressed and slity was just downstairs, prepared to leave as always. She Looked out the window and noticed that the snow was beginning to melt, dripping to form puddles and small rivulets in the still frozen snow. Luna looked back at Curtis. She slipped her hand into his and smiled at him. "not really anything, I think. I mean, im a little hungry but there isn't anything really major I feel like we need to do." she wondered if his parents were up. If they were going to tell his mom this morning, how they would react that they had slept together. "thank you for last night Curtis. I...I really needed that." she gave him a kiss on his cheek. "come on, let's go." she said as she started to get up.

Curtis smiled looking at Luna, "No problem." Curtis gestured for Luna to follow him. He opened the door and waited for Luna to go down the stairs so that he could follow her. Curtis walked down stairs and into the kitchen and looked around and grabbed a somewhat large fruit, He handed it to Luna. "Try that." It looked abit like an apple but abit bigger in size then one. Curtis leaned back against the counter and waited for Luna to take a bite out of the fruit and see what she would react. The fruit eas Sweet, and had a small hint of sourness in it. It was only really noticable after you were done with it and it was pretty filling aswell, Curtis grabbed another fruit and started eating it. He was hungry but not alot so he just decided to take one of the smaller fruits and it that instead. The day outside was nice, it was warm and not freezing cold and snowing like it was yesterday before they went to sleep. Once Luna took a bite out of it Curtis raised an eyebrow to her, "Like it?" He awaited for an awnser back.

Luna took the big fruit from Curtis. The skin was smooth. She watched as he took a bite of the same kind of fruit. She looked over the good in her hands before bringing it to her mouth and taking a little bite. The fruit was sweet and tangy, juicy and succulent. She favored the flavor as she chewed. She liked this. She wondered what it was called. She swallowed and looked up at Curtis and smiled. "mmmm. I like this! What is it called?" she inquired. He was still chewing the large bite he had taken, so it took him a second to finish up. But before he finished, she heard a pair of footsteps patter in the next room. Luna turned around to face the doorway so she could see whoever it was that had just entered the room she and Curtis were in.

Curtis swollowed what was in his mouth, "It's found south of here, It's called a Jappara Fruit." Curtis laughed abit, The word Jappara had a Accent on it so it sounded diffrently. Curtis looked over and saw his Mom there, She seemed normal. Curtis smiled, "Morning Mom." He looked back at Luna, "Were going to be going into town today just so you know." His mom nodded abit and looked at Luna and winked at her abit before walking off upstairs towards her room. Curtis didn't notice it at all so he didn't know what just happened if Luna reacted to it. Curtis looked at the front door, "Ready? Were going to walk. It's nice enough to go for a walk." Curtis smiled and finished off the fruit, He held onto it and waitied for Luna to go to the door with him. He was just going to throw the remains outside. Curtis stood at the door and opened it for Luna to walk out, "After you."
