From Point A to Point B.

Curtis sat his bag on his bed and threw the last of his books in, Silvia was prancing around the room as if she was in a special perade just for her. Slity had just sat there and watched Silvia prance around him. Curtis shut the bag up and put it on his back turning around looking at Slity and Silvia "You two ready to go?". Slity nodded his head and Silvia jumped in the air as a response. Curtis smiled and walked over to the door opening it for the two to go out. Once they had exited the building Curtis shut the door and walked over to Slity jumping on his back, Silvia ran up Slity's tail and onto his back and held on, Curtis wasn't sure how she was holding on but it worked however she did. Slity took off from the ground leaving it behind and flying towards Luna's home.

Time passed and they arrived at Luna's home, Slity landed infront on her door. Curtis slid off and Silvia still sat on Slity's back, Curtis knocked on Luna's door awaitng for her to awnser. When Luna awnsered Curtis smiled and helped her onto Slity's back, When she was onto his back Curtis hopped on and looked back. "Alright let's go." Slity took off heading south back to Red Rock.

Luna climbed on to slity's back, curtis' hands on her waist as he helped her up. She swumg her leg over and on top of slity's back, She saw slivia and smiled, giving her a stroke on the head. It lookEd like Silvia would be coming with them to red rock. The little white fear couldn't fly yet, so Luna guessed that she would just ride along on slity's back with she and Curtis the whole way. Luna twisted a little and stroked her back, the liitle dragon made a happy little sound and rubbed her head on her hand. Luna looked at Curtis who was watching her with a slight smile on his lips, waiting patiently for her. "oh. Sorry." Luna said. She slid back a little to make room for Curtis, who climbed on in frOnt of her. She slid her arms around his waist, holding on firmly, like she always did. She didn't do this out of security any more, well partially she did, but she was pretty balances and felt comfortable on slity as long as they didn't go high. But she mostly did it purely because she liked to- the closeness was something she relished about flying with Curtis. He looked back at her for a moment before urging slity to take off, which he promptly did, slowly out of consciousness to luna. They glided slowly down to the beach where they made way south from the headland, steadily picking up speed as they flew close to the water. Luna hadn't been to red rock in awhile- actually she had only been once. It had been where they had found Silvia, still a egg at the time. Curtis had been back a few times, the last time he went he had gone without her, and she hated it. She hadn't gotten to see him for a little over a week. So when he told her he was going to visit, she insisted on coming. To which Curtis easily complied. Luna thought he liked bringing her to his homeland, showing her around. This time they would be able to do more. The last time they had gone he had still been at oddswith his father. And despite his father not being home, they had to be cautious. Since then though, they had made up and were now on good terms. Luna thought about being in red rock with Curtis. He seemed so much more confident in his homeland. Lunas mind wandered- switching to and fro from thing to thing. She thought about her dragons, who she had intruders to someone else's care for the time being. It went many places before returning to Curtis.

Then Luna stopped day dreaming and looked around. She could still just see sea and ocean- lots of water. She placed her head on curtis' shoulder. "how much longer do you think?" she asked.

Curtis had just let his mind wander as they flew, Slity knew the way easily and could go to Red Rock with Curtis sleeping on his back the entire way. They hadn't seen any islands latley but that was probably going to change soon, To avoid some rougher winds Curtis had made Slity go a little further east and then continue south again just to avoid the wind attack that would of been tough on Slity. Curtis looked around at the ocean "Um.. Not too much longer. Probably about thirty minutes?" They had been flying for awhile. They continued and afew minutes later an Island came into view, But somthing was behind it. It was a Wall of White, "Uh..." Curtis made Slity go towards the Island and land. He slowly landed onto the island and Curtis hopped off and walked abit on the beach, The weather temprature had dropped, ALOT. Curtis looked and saw the beach with small specks of White, It was snow. "It's snowing down here?" Curtis looked up at the Wall of Snow, "It's more then a Blizzard I can say that." Curtis turned around at Luna with his eyebrow raised as if saying What The Hell happened. Curtis looked back, "This is not right." He walked back to Slity and hopped back on. "Thing is, Were going to have to fly through it."

Curtis looked back at Luna and nodded abit, "Might be just Abit rough but nothing we won't be able to handle." Curtis pushed Slity up slowly, "Hold onto Silvia." Curtis waited for Luna to do so and when she did He pushed Slity into the wall. They continued straight, Red Rock was only on the other side of this giant wall but thing is It has never snowed in Red Rock, No one knows why it just hasn't and now its beening pounded by snow. It took abit of manuvering and fast movement through the heavy wall but they made it through, Curtis made Slity go up abit higher. "Hold on so you don't have a Heart Attack, I need to check this out." They didn't go too high from the water; but the snow was all over Red Rock and the entire town was covered, The Docks had ice formed around the edges of them and the fields were now covered with large blankets of white. "Let's go talk to my Mom, She will know when this happend." Curtis pushedd Slity towards his home, They went along and landed behind his home; the snow was well above their ankles. Curtis hopped off and walked over to the door and knocked on it.

As Luna saw the white storm in the sky. She knew what it was. Snow. wait! Snow? How could it be snowing? It wasn't that cold on berk, so it should be colder down south. This made no sense. She had seen strange occurrences, but this was just bizarre! And they were going to have to fly through it! It seemed like madness, But Curtis seemed sure of himself, so she trusted him. She grabbed Silvia from behind her. She heaved her up into her lap. The little dragon was getting really big! She sandwiched Silvia between her Amd Curtis Amd held on to Curtis as tight as she could with Silvia there. And then they delved into the storm, flying hard against the wind. Slity tried his best to keep straight Amd not rock. Luna didn't like the unsteadiness of the flight, it was pretty scary for her the while time. And she was cold. Very very very cold. Silvia being an ice shooter wasn't warm. She wished she didn't have to be there so she could press up against Curtis and maybe be a little warmer. Silvia pretty much made it worse. Silvia tried to wiggle and squirm. Luna realized Silvia had never seen snow before. Luna shivered an held down Silvia and held on to Curtis for the duration of the storm.

Once they had flown out o thestorm, Luna let Silvia go Amd set her behind her. She scooted up right behind Curtis again. She wrapped her arms around him, which were shaking from the cold. She took his hand Amd breathed out. She was freezing cold. It was frigid on the other side of the storm, and neither of them were wearing proper clothes for water such as this. Up ahead, out of the sea, emerged a town covered in ice and snow. Red rock. Luna saw the look of shock on curtis' face at the sight of the state of his homeland. He seemed bewildered. They headed to his house. They landed next to the large building where Curtis was raised. As soon as they touched down, he slid off and promptly rapped on tue door. Luna slid off after, a little slower because of the cold. She got to her feet and stood next to Curtis as the door opened.

Curtis waited a moment, It was cold outside it would of been smart to of brung his Coat along with them but he didn't think they would need it. Curtis' mom awnsered the door and looked at the two, "What are you two doing here?! Get inside" Curtis nodded and happily walked in, His mom shut the door once Luna was in. Silvia and Slity walked over to the stable and laied down in the fresh straw that was covered by a hanging roof. Curtis felt the warmth of the room, Two fireplaces were going in the house and Curtis looked around. His mom looked at them, "Why would you come in this kind of weather?" Curtis looked at his mom, "Eh.. Came out of nowhere, When did this start to happen. With the snow?" His mom sat down and looked at them for a moment. "No one knows, But our ships can't get out of this Blizzard, it's been like this for two days, We have no idea what triggered it." The homes in Red Rock were outfitted with fires of corse, But Curtis was lucky that his home had two that heated the home in a snap.

Curtis looked at Luna, "Umm. Mom, Where's Dad?" His mom looked at him, "He went with Reaper into the mountian's to check somthing out." Curtis nodded, "When did he leave?" His mom thought for a moment, "Um.. forty.... five minutes ago?" It wasn't the smartest idea to go into the mountians in this kind of weather but his dad wasn't one for not taking risks with things like that. Curtis looked at Luna again, "You rember Luna right mom?" His mom nodded and smiled looking at Luna, "Yea I remember. Nice to see you again." His mom examined Luna for a moment. "I think you two need somthing heavier on, Ill be back." His mom walked off and went upstairs. Curtis looked at Luna, "You that cold?" He was cold himself and it wasn't normal for this kind of area to be like that, Afew moments after Curtis' mom came back downstairs and handed aa heavy looking sweater and long skirt that would reach her ankles, "That would work for you." She laughed, Curtis laughed too. "That's a pretty warm set so be thankful." Curtis got up, "Ill go grab a warmer set for myself." He ran off and went upstair to throw on a warmer set for himself.

Curtis' mom looked at Luna, "Ill give you my name just so you don't need to think of diffrent names to call me, It's Janette." Curtis' mom was pretty young, she was in her late twentys. "So, What are you two doing back here again?"

Luna took the sweater and the long skirt from her. Luna smiled "thanks" Luna pulled the skirt on over the one she was wearing and her leggings and slid the sweater over her arms. Luna didn't really like long skirts- they were constricting, but this seemed to be what the women on red rock wore so Luna didn't want to say anything about it. She was glad to have the Warmth. The skirt was a little tiny bit big. It wasn't that janette was big, only that Luna was small, Luna had always been small-built. Luna took a seat in a chair. She drew her legs up in the long skirt, setting her heels on the edge of the chair. She looked around the room. It was much different than her house on berk, bit the way it was built was similar to how curtis' home in toothless' forest was. Her eyes rested on janette. She could see were Curtis got his looks. He shared his mothers dark hair and his nose was like his mothers as well. Luna glanced up the stairs, awaiting his return. She felt uneasy in red rock without him- her being a foreigner and all. She dropped her feet back down to the ground.

When janette asked her a question, Luna looked up timidly Amd tried to formulate an answer. She really didn't know what they were doing here, all she knew was that she didn't want to spend a week or more without Curtis. She missed him too much. The room felt awkward without him here even now. "to tell you the truth, I don't really know why." Luna said shyly with all the amiability she could muster. She didnt want to seem snobby or mean to janette.

Curtis grabbed a warmer pair of cloths and threw them on, He made his way back downstairs and into the kitchen once again. Curtis looked around for a moment, "Guess were going to Dad." He looked over at Luna, "Let's get going." Janette look at Curtis, "Try not to get lost in this snow." Curtis nodded and opened the door allowing Luna to go out before him, once she was out Curtis shut the door and walked over to the stable, "Silvia you come here." Silvia walked over and Curtis picked her up, "Ill have my mom take care of her." Curtis walked back to the house and opened the door, "Take care of Silvia please" He put her down and shut the door again walking back towards Slity hoping onto his back, He extended his hand out to help Luna get up. Once Luna was onto Slity's back Curtis looked around, "Were going to need to fly abit higher this time, Not alot but still try not to have a heart attack." He said jokingly and having Slity take off. The snow was still falling, But the clothing Curtis and Luna were in now would feel like being beside a fire. It was true that it got cold towards the winter time here on Red Rock, But it never snows during that time. Curtis looked over the town and saw the streets. They weren't covered in snow due to the fact they had dragon clear the streets incase of an emergancy.

They continued to fly through the White, Winter land. It didn't take too much longer before they reached the mountians, They started to fly around them, Curtis looked around seeing if he couldn't see either his dad, Or the Black colored dragon in the snow; hopefully that would help them.

Riding a dragon in a long skirt wad terribly awkward. If she hiked it up so she could straddle slity, her legs were cold, but if she left it down her legs didn't fit over slity properly. She couldn't very well ride sideways- she would slide off. She took cirtis' hand and pulled the skirt up to her knee. It was proabaly most improper in red rock- but Luna didn't care she wore skirts shorter than her knees every day- so if someone had a problem with seeing her legs- with the leggings over them, they could just get over it because there was no other way she was going to be able to ride this dragon. And after Luna was situtated, they took off.

As they flew along, snow drifted lazily from the sky, landing on the ground below. A few of the white flecks landed softly on Lunas nose. She didnt let go of Curtis to brush them off. This was because she was holding Curtis tightly, and she wasn't about to just let go- he was taking them up in the air a bit, she didn't really like it, but she didn't argue, she just held on. The cOld wind rushing past the unskirted portion of her legs was very cold. Curtis steered them up into a low mountain range. As Luna started shaking a little, she took his hand in hers and gripped it tightly. Her heart raced and her eyes widened as she observed their height. Luna still wasn't sure where they were going, so she brought her face over his shoulder and asked him "where are we going?"

Curtis looked around the snowey region, "Looking for my Dad, I don't know why he would be out here in this weather." The continued to fly along through the white sky, Aside from the fact that there was a couple of feet of snow on the ground and that it was cold outside; but besides that it looked really nice around the area. This was even colder then an avarage day on Berk which was quite odd due to the fact that it has always been so warm year round. No one knows who this had gotten started or when it will start, if it's just a freak strom that came out of no where or if somthing else is causing it that humankind had never seen before. Either way they would eventually figure it out even if they had to bring people in from southern regions to help them figure why this is happening.

Curtis scanned the area's around them, the snow fall wasn't too dense so they could see a ways away from where they were. He looked behind them still only a blanket of snow, He looked down and saw a black streak go by. "Hmm.." Curtis looked back up, and just continued to fly. Slity was just flying along Curtis wasn't controlling him or anything he was just doing what he was doing. Afew minutes passed, Curtis looked around again, He looked to the side and his eyes widden, "Luna.. Hold onto Slity, and DONT FREAK OUT." Slity wasn't able to concentrate when she did freak out and got scared becuase of a sudden things happening at the height they were at. "This dragon never learns dose he." The black streak came back and flew towards Slity, It grabbed Curtis by the arms and lifted him up. ( xD Lets make Luna freak? i keed)

The dragon flew off this him at the same height. Slity started to head for the ground, Reaper didn't know that Curtis was here or that he was out here so that probably made it looked like a threat. Reaper started around the sky but not very high, Curtis looked up at the dragon, It's eyes were darted angry looking. Curtis yelled at Reaper, "REAPER, TO THE GROUND NOW!" The dragon's eyes widend dramatically and looked down at Curtis, It let out a small noise that sounded like it was saying sorry. Reaper flew towards the ground where Slity would of landed when Curtis got taken off.

A minute after Reaper landed on his hind legs and then lightly put Curtis down, He looked at Luna. "This dragon seems to get confused sometimes." He laughed and scratched Reaper's neck, The Jet black dragon looked at Luna with it's blood stained eyes. Reaper had a somewhat long, Skinny body, His wings were a avarage length. He had to been about twice the size of Slity. Curtis looked at Luna, "This is my Dad's dragon."

As Curtis warned Luna not to freak out, she assumed they were about to go higher. She tightened her grip and buried her face in his back. She closed her eyes. He knewshe hated it and he knew it scared her to death, so if he knew what they were doing was going to entail this, why did he bring her? Well, she supposed it was because he jut wanted her with him. Which she didn't really mind. She didn't want to be without him in a forighn land. She knew he was trying his best to make the choices that would best benefit the both of them. So she tried to just stay calm for him. And she was relatively calm until he was ripped out of her arms. She screamed when he was pulled violently away from her. There was no way she could stay calm now. She shook and gritted her teeth. She had no idea how to steer slity. So she held on with all her might. she had never flown without Curtis before- ever it wasn't really something she necessarily want to do either. She was afraid. Was he gone forever? Had he fallen off? Had something taken him? Would Ot give him back? Hundreds of Questions like this swirled around in her head as Luna let any effort to stay calm go. Then slity dove down to the ground and Luna screamed. A few tears trickled down her face and she trembled and cried. She layed on her stomach as wrapped her legs and arms around the white dragons body, just trying to stay on. When they hit the groun he landed quickly And turned his head round and nudged Luna a few times, making comforting rumbling sounds. But Luna didn't move. She stayed latched on to his back as she shook and sobbed. She was petrified with fear.

Curtis raised an eyebrow to Luna, She seemed completly petrified from what just happened. Reaper moved over and nudged against Luna's side, Curtis looked "Luna?". Curtis looked at Slity and moved over to his face and rubbed his head lightly, "Thank you for not dropping her." Slity looked up and let out a small laughing sound, Curtis laughed abit aswell after Slity had finished. Curtis raised an eyebrow looking at Luna waiting for her to look up from her state of fear. Curtis just waited there rubbing Slity's head, He was letting off a slight purring noise that might bring Luna to look up. The snow continued to fall, Reaper Stood out like a sore thumb being all black for one. Reaper looked at Luna and let off warm air from his mouth, It was just heated air from the small fire he had going on in his mouth; It would probably make Luna abit warmer then how she was. Curtis looked around, If Reaper was here then his dad wouldn't be too much farther away, Curtis thought it over abit they were at the base of the mountians so He must be somewhere on the lower areas.

Luna heard a farmiliar voice through her sobs. Curtis? It was Curtis! She shifted her head sideways and saw him watching her, his hand rubbing slity. There was a strangle black dragon behind him who was Staring at her hardly. What was his problem and what was he doing here. He was of a species she did not recognize. When Luna saw Curtis she wiped off her face with Her sleeve. She sat up. He was fine. What had happened then? Curtis didn't seem very upset at all. She glanced at the strangle black dragon again, whose stare was still fixated on her. She tried to stop herself from trembling as she looked at Curtis and asked in a rather shaky voice "what happened? you scared me!"

Curtis looked at Luna, He smiled he was happy that she was ok now. Curtis shrugged abit when she asked what had happend to him. "Reaper here thought I was a threat and grabbed me. After I yelled at him he finally remember who I was without having a first look at me in the begginig." He looked over at Reaper, Reaper looked at Curtis and lower his head abit. The dragon looked back at Luna with the Pools of Blood for eyes, He seemed like a very.. violent dragon. But truthfully Reaper was one of the most kind hearted Dragons you would find, He only attacks people to defend a certian item, or person from what he thinks is a threat. Curtis looked at Luna, "This is my Dads dragon." Curtis moved his neck around abit, "So that means my dad is probably somewhere near by on the bottom of the mountians and that's why were here." He walked over to her and got up onto Slity's back, Curtis looked into Luna's eyes and kissed her, "Sorry if that scared you." Curtis smiled at Luna and then turned around, "Alright Reaper, Lead us to Dad." Reaper nodded and started to take off towards the mountian bottom, Slity took off and followed him not far behind.

Not much time passed before Reaper started to go down towards a small section of the mountian, Curtis looked over and had Slity go and landed where Reaper had landed. Curtis hopped off and helped Luna down once Slity had landed. They followed Reaper until they got to a small cave, The walked into it. It didn't look small on the inside that was for sure. Torchs were lit around the cave making it very bright, It was nice to get out of the cold for a little bit. "This is where Dad is Reaper?" The Black dragon nodded his head and let out a small puff of smoke. Curtis started to walked around, He looked down a small slope in the cave, He walked down and saw Diffrent Dragon eggs in small nests of hay. Curtis raised and eyebrow looking around some more, Two people came from one side carrying an egg togather towards another section of the cave, One man and one woman. They looked at Curtis and nodded their heads, "Hello Curtis." They both spoke, Curtis knew them; They were the shop owners at the tools shop in the town. Curtis nodded and smiled, He continued to walk through the cave and looked around. There was a couple more people that Curtis knew that walked by, They seemed to be helping out with the eggs. He reached a small room, His dad was in it taking care off two eggs. "Never thought Id see you doing somthing like this Dad" He laughed.

His dad turned around and smiled, "Dose seem like the kind of thing that mom would probably do besides me." Curtis nodded at him as a response to his awnser. Curtis looked at the eggs, "What's going on around here, What's with the Blizzard and all these eggs?" He looked over at his Dad after kneeling down and examining one of the eggs. His dad looked back at him and thought for a moment, "These Blizzards are still unknown but they arn't stopping." He paused for a second before starting up again, "These Egg's are eggs that the Towns people's dragons had, Were taking care of them for the Dragon's as a thank you for helping keep the streets clear durning this." His Dad laughed again. Curtis' Dad was 6'2 in height, Normal weight, Well built. Short Brown hair, Green eyes. Curtis looked back at Luna, "Introduce yourself if you want, He wont bite." both Curtis and his Dad Laughed.

Luna slid of slity Amd stared speechless. She looked greedily around the enormous cavern, greedily taking in the sight of all the dragon eggs. There were so Many types she had never before set eyes on. Some were like varieties of eggs she knew well, others were completely diverse from The eggs she knew from being the dragon healer on berk. She wanted to take time to thourougly observe ech one individually. What a time Sven would have in here. There were people around taking care of the eggs. She would have taken more time to look around, bit she didn't want to be without Curtis, and he was leaving to a different part of th cave. She quickly scuttled after him, following him close into a room-like space. There was a tall man on his knees caring for a nest with young eggs in it. Curtis greeted him and joined him. They seemed Pretty farmiliar with each other, this must be curtis' father. He didn't look scary, but the fact that he had tried to kill Curtis made her wary. Curtis invited her to introduce herself. Luna didn't like talking to new people, but she wanted to make a good first impression with him. So she took a deep breath and said, her voice shaking a little. "I'm Luna" she tried to smile a little as she said so.

Curtis stood up and walked over standing beside Luna. Curtis could tell she was abit nervous by her voice. He looked around the room for a moment thinking for a second. Curtis' Dad looked at Luna and nodded his head slightly, "Nice to meet you Luna." His dad thought for a moment, "Guessing your from up north." Curtis nodded abit looking at Luna. His Dad nodded and looked at the ground for a moment, "So, Have you ever been up here before Luna?" Curtis' Dad questioned with a curious tone to his voice. Curtis looked over at his Dad then back at Luna allowing her to talk, There wasn't going to be any need for Luna to be Nervous with Curtis standing beside her, Plus What was there really to be nervous about. A couple people could be heard not too far that were taking care of eggs in the Caves.
